XSL:Import causing End-Of-Communication error when called in PL/SQL.

I have master xsl. I am importing another xsl in it. when I use xslTransform in my pl/sql stored procedure I receive end of communication error. I have used "file://" and "http://" both in xsl:import.
Here's the import lines:
<xsl:import href="file://D:/temp/Xsd/CommonFunctions.xsl"/>
or
<xsl:import href="http://www.v-tek.com/xsl/CommonFunctions.xsl"/>
I am not sure what causes this error. I tested this in xmlspy and it works well.

Hi Justin,
I tried to reproduce your complaint, but wasnt able to. I didnt have a 10104 db to test against though, but I did test against 10105, and 10202, using the following dumb table:
create table constr_test ( c1 number);
alter table constr_test add constraint const_1 check (c1 in (1,2,null));
insert into constr_test values (3);
commit;
Frequently a 3113 is the result of an ora-600 or ora-7445 on the database. The fact that it doesnt occur for you on 10.2 db leads me to believe that might be the case here. Have you checked your alert logs?
Cheers,
Greg

  • Communication error when calling web service for checkin and checkout files

    Hello,
    I am trying to checkout  and also to checkin files within the DMS via web service. The files are stored in the VAULT (=TRESOR) without the data server parth and DVA computer.
    For checkout:
    Original zum Ändern auschecken
      CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTMODIFY2'
        EXPORTING
          documenttype    = pi_documenttype
          documentnumber  = pi_documentnumber
          documentpart    = pi_documentpart
          documentversion = pi_documentversion
          documentfile    = lf_documentfiles
          pf_http_dest    = ''
          pf_ftp_dest     = ''
        statusextern    = lf_status
        IMPORTING
          return          = lf_return
          checkedoutfile  = ls_checkedoutfile.
    and for checkin:
    Dokument einchecken
      CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKIN2'
        EXPORTING
          documenttype    = pi_documenttype
          documentnumber  = pi_documentnumber
          documentpart    = pi_documentpart
          documentversion = pi_documentversion
          hostname        = ''
          statusintern    = ''
       statusextern    = lf_status
          statuslog       = ''
        IMPORTING
          return          = lf_return
        TABLES
          documentfiles   = lt_files.
    But it is not working cause I always get a 'communication error' from the function CV120_FTP_START_REG_SERVER when calling one of these BAPIs via web service:
    IF pf_check_gui = 'X'.
        CLEAR: gf_gui_exist,
               gf_gui_checked.
        CALL FUNCTION 'RFC_PING'
             DESTINATION 'SAPGUI'
             EXCEPTIONS: communication_failure = 1 MESSAGE lf_msg_text
                         system_failure        = 2 MESSAGE lf_msg_text.
        IF sy-subrc = 0.
          gf_gui_exist = 'X'.
        ELSE.
          CLEAR gf_gui_exist.
        ENDIF.
        gf_gui_checked = 'X'.
      ENDIF.
    Afterwards the following function is called where I got the error 'Program no longer started via RFC. No return possible.':
    -> Vault with DVA -> ** Start FTP on the client
      CALL FUNCTION 'SYSTEM_START_REG_SERVER'
           EXPORTING: progname    = 'sapftp'
                      startmode   = ''                          " X
                      exclusiv    = 'Y'
                      waittime    = 500
                      startcomp   = 'C'    " G=gui, C=RFC
                      startpara   = ' '
          IMPORTING: err_code    = lf_errno
                     err_mess    = lf_error_msg
                     destination = pfx_destination.
    Regards
    Jens

    Hi! As mentioned below I had the same problem.
    There are two notes concerning security setting of the SAP Gateway:
    1069911 - GW: Changes to the ACL list of the gateway (reginfo)
    1480644 -  gw/acl_mode versus gw/reg_no_conn_info
    Your basis team should check if the Gateway settings allow external programs to register on the gateway.
    Best regards
    Dominik

  • RFC Communication error when doing initial indexing

    Hello Everyone,
    I have a quick question, when doing the initial index rollup for a BIA index the job is failing with RFC communication error.
    We currently have the setting related to " TREXRfcServer threads" set to "Automatic Changes" in order to avoid the RFC Communication errors when loading big loads in BI system.
    We currently are on Revision 49.
    I also have referred to OSS Note 1138603.
    The issue is when I am rolling up the BIA Index the rollup job is failing with RFC Communication errors.
    The Global parameters within BIA are:
    BATCHPARA - 2
    NUMPROC - 5
    PKGSIZE - 10000000
    SUBPKGSIZE - 20000
    We have two app servers with 52 Dialog processes and 25 Background processes.
    Any help would be really appreciated.
    Thanks
    Dharma.

    Removing references to systems and ports
    Issue:
    When the initial indexing is being carried out for an InfoCube to
    create the BIA Index and there is more than one application server in
    the system the job is failing with the http error.
    Hello Everyone,
    Thanks for the input, after the automatic changes was configured for concurrent requests the error is different right now.
    The error message is,
    "Remote communication failure with partner http://<Removed>:<removed>/indexCellTable"
    Overview/Background:
    When the indexing job is triggered as a background job the failure happens when the S table index is being filled.
    In our system where we are trying to do the stress testing we currently have two app servers and one central instance.
    When I limit the RFCGROUP in RSDDTREXADMIN table to one App server in terms of logon group the job finishes fine.
    Whereas, when I do not limit the RFCGROUP and all app servers are open for access the background job finishes with the error message
    Remote communication failure with partner http://<Removed>:<removed>/indexCellTable.
    We have looked into the OSS Note 1102652 and our BASIS team confirmed that they were able to ping from BI App servers into BIA blades and vice versa.
    We also confirmed if the local gateway was used for connectivity.
    The above issue was not in other systems where we only had one server.
    We currently are at Revision 49 and SP 13 in BI.
    We have E5345 Clowertown blades (2 x 4) 16GB blades.
    Please let us know if you need additional information.
    Thanks in advance for the input.
    Dharma.

  • Error when transferring data; communication error when analyzing

    Hi,
    When I load the data from the SAP CRM source system. Iam getting the following error.
    Error when transferring data; communication error when analyzing
    Diagnosis
    Data Packets or Info Packets are missing in BW, but there were - as far as can be seen - no processing errors in the source system. It is
    therefore probable that an error arose in the data transfer.
    With the analysis an attempt was made to read the ALE outbox of the source system, which lead to error .
    It is possible that no connection exists to the source system.
    Procedure
    Check the TRFC overview in the source system.
    Check the connection of the source system for errors and check the
    authorizations and profiles of the remote user in both the BW and
    source systems.
    Check th ALE outbox of the source system for IDocs that have not been
    Can anyone guide me on this.
    Thanks in Advance
    Varun

    ok here's a development..when i logged in the source system to check the job...it says the job defn is incomplete. The description says:
    Definition for job ARFC:SYSLOAD1C800CRMREMOTE is incomplete. Job cannot be released
    Can anyone give an insight on it.

  • ORA-03115 error when calling a Stored Procedure

    Hi All,
    I'm in the process of porting a Pro/C app from NT to Linux. I've installed 8.1.5 on our Linux box and patched it up to 8.1.5.02.
    It all kind of works ok, except that I'm sometimes getting ORA-03115 errors when the app calls a stored procedure. The call in question looks like this:
    EXEC SQL BEGIN DECLARE SECTION;
    VARCHAR resprows[50][3998];
    int numret = 0;
    int numrows= 50;
    int done= 0;
    unsigned long resp_id = 0;
    EXEC SQL END DECLARE SECTION;
    EXEC SQL AT DB_NAME EXECUTE
    BEGIN pkg_something.getdata(
    :resp_id, /* IN */
    :numrows, /* IN */
    :done, /* OUT */
    :resprows, /* OUT */
    :numret /* OUT */
    END;
    END-EXEC;
    The stored procedure basically uses the resp_id value to select rows from a table;
    in each row there is a VARCHAR2(4000) column which it copies into the hostarray resprows.
    There may be anything from 1 to numrows returned from the SP.
    Initially, the resprows rows were defined to be size [4000]. Unfortunately, this caused ORA-02005 errors - I then changed the size to [3998], which seemed to fix the 02005's (although I'm unclear as to the reasons why).
    Now I'm getting the 03115 errors when calling the SP. The oracle manual is not very helpful on what this error means.
    This all works chipper on NT.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance,
    Nigel.
    PS: The database the app is talking to is still hosted on NT.

    The procedure and package have both compiled without errors and the statement on its own works fine in SQL*Plus.I suggest you take a look in the USER_ERRORS view to see, what the errors are.
    And just checking:
    You have schema called LAZARUS, which holds a package named LAZARUS, which holds a procedure called POPULATEGRIDPOSITIONS?

  • Request giving Socket communication error at call=recv: error.

    Hi All,
    My requirement goes like this for OBIEE 11G :
    I have two requests(analysis) and I want to show either of them at a given time based on a Dashboard prompt. I have set a Presentation variable {PV} for this Prompt whcih always hays two values A and B.
    My first request is like this :
    Dim 1 Measure 1 ( this should be shown when I select Dashboard Prompt A.
    My second request is:
    Dim 2 Measure 2 ( this should be shown when I select Dashboard Prompt B.
    I have to use the Guided Navigation ( Sectional Condition in 11g)
    When Dashboard Prompt A is selected Section 1 i.e. Request 1 should be shown when Dashboard Prompt B is selected then it should show request 2.
    To achieve this in request 1 I have added a extra filter '@{PV}' is equal to/is in 'A' and in request 2 I have added a extra filter '@{PV}' is equal to/is in 'B' so as when we select B in Prompt the first request should 'No Results' so as I can achieve my Guided Navigation.
    But to my surprise when I select B in the Dashboard Prompt the first request throws an error.

    Hi,

  • 401 Unauthorized Error When calling a SharePoint REST web service from SharePoint 2013 Workflow

    We have our Workflow Manger installed on the same server as our SharePoint 2013 WFE development environment. When creating a SharePoint 2013 Workflow all Calls to a SharePoint 2013 REST web service results in a 401 Unauthorized error.
    As an example I created a simple workflow that should return a JSON result. The REST Url returns the results in the browser without error.
    Set Variable:webServiceUrl to https://<hostnamedsitecollection>/_vti_bin/client.svc/web/lists/getbytitle('ISR%20Approvers')/Items?$select=Title&$filter=Title%20eq%20%27General%27
    then Build{...} Dictionary (Output to Variable:requestHeaders)
    then Call [%Variable:webServiceUrl%] HTTP web service with request (ResponseContent to Variable:responseContent |ResponseHeaders to responseHeaders | ResponseStatusCode to Variable:responseCode)
    The RequestHeader is set to the requestHeaders variable though the web service call properties
    then Log Variable:responseCode to the workflow history list
    After manually running the workflow in SharePoint on a list item in the ISR Approvers list it Logs "Unauthorized" in the Workflow History Log. It does this with every SharePoint REST web service call that I have tried through the workflow.
    It doesn't have anything to do with the Workflow Manger being installed on the same machine as the SharePoint WFE does it?
    Thank You for any insight

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you had 401 Unauthorized Error when calling a SharePoint REST web service from SharePoint 2013 Workflow.
    Please make sure you use the ‘Call HTTP Web Service’ correctly.
    You can enter the URL into the brower to check whether it is correctly.
    You need to
    create the Request header requestHeaders
    using a Dictionary:
    Accept : application/json;odata=verbose
    Content-Type : application/json;odata=verbose
    To associate the
    requestHeaders variable, select the Call action
    property, set the RequestHeaders property to
    requestHeaders.
    Please refer to the following articles:
    Working with Web Services in SharePoint 2013 Workflows using SharePoint Designer 2013

    In addtion, you need to make sure you install the workflow manager correctly.

  • ERROR: Error when calling IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE:OBJECT_UNKNOWN

    Hi,
    We are having a problem in processing (receiving) an idoc through our RFC client in SAP .
    The RFC Client is up and running however, turns red while processing a certain Idoc.
    The error occured:
    Error when calling IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE:OBJECT_UNKNOWN (IDoc /).
    This issue has been occurring since August 18-23. if the status of the RFC client is green, its shows: Waiting for IDOC.
    My questions would be:
    1) If for example, there are 50,000 idocs that are being sent and the first 1000 contains an error, will it still process the 49,000 idocs left through RFC client?
    2) what are the possible errors of an idoc which causes the RFC client to be down (having the error above)? is it the format of the idoc? or the idoc_type itself?
    3) another instance would be, if they are resending the idocs again, the RFC will be up eventually and we'll be able to receive the idocs. what are the causes for this?
    4) are there any ways to track these idocs (which contains the error) in BODI or in SAP?
    5) what are the alternative ways of processing the idocs that contains an error?

    I think there is a misspelling in your IDOC type (in header of IDOC probably)
    or the IDOC type does not exist on your SAP system
    you call function IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE remotely on SAP server and this falls into error with exception 1 (OBJECT_UNKNOWN)

  • JAX-WS client error when calling web method

    My JAX-WS client is getting the following error when calling a web method:
    Exception in thread "main" javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException:
    No Content-type in the header!
    I'm using Eclipse as my development environment. I use the CXF facet to generate a WSDL from Java code. I then use the New -> Web Service Client to generate client side code from the WSDL.
    The following fully describes my environment:
    Windows XP
    JDK 1.6.0_22
    Java EE 6
    Eclipse Helios
    Apache CXF 2.3.0 (runtime)
    Tomcat 6.0
    I have found several post on the net that describe this problem and a solution for JBoss, but I have been unable to find anything that addresses this error on Tomcat.
    I can provide source code if needed. The app is a simple Hello World web service. I'm using it to try and get familiar with developing web services with all the components listed above.
    Thanks

    Hi Anders,
    The resolution of the crossdomain problem is not to store an cross-domain-policy file at the [SAP] webservice side; but instead it needs to be done at the (every...) webservice client. In case the client is an IIS based webapplication (and thus the ultimate end-users are accessing it via their browser), this is not such an issue. It there is sufficient to put an crossdomain.xml policy file in the IIS main virtual root of your 'client' .net webapplication (c:\inetpub\wwwroot). It also can be required or at least helpful to put a clientaccesspolicy.xml file; both at the main virtual root and in the virtual root of the specific webapplication
    In case of SharePoint application, the crossdomain.xml file must be stored in the WSS virtual root of that site; c:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\virtualdirectories\<your SharePoint webapp>
    Best regards, William.

  • An error when calling DAQmx from TestStand

    Hi,
    I get very mystic error when calling DAQmx Create Channel (Digital input) and DAQmx Read (Digital Bool 1Line 1Point) vis. Difficulty is that it does not occur every time. It is random. Any ideas what might cause this error? I uninstalled Traditional DAQ drives because they are not in use but it does not help.

    I can not get that error using MAX or looping it only. There is something else outside which causes the error. It can not be Traditional DAQ because I uninstalled it. These vis are running in a loop during the test in the batchmodel.
