while i am working with XSLT mapping i am getting the following error:

Hi Ramesh,
The best way is to debug with XSLT map developing tool
- can check if there is any special character in your msg
- can check if you use the appropriate "logical" operators like >,< as > etc.
- every error which has escaped, the unit testing at the XSLT developing stage will appear, during the execution of the flow.
anyway you can post your mapping. it may help in identifying the issue.

SharePoint 2010 Error while executing web part: System.Xml.Xsl.XslLoadException: XSLT compile error.

I currently having a series of errors (18 issues) that are occurring under the below Correlation ID ad1a22f5-1ddb-4fa5-8487-143cb6fd0f9d
I have listed (3) that are in the Web Parts category, this error/issue is causing several timed job to no longer work properly I have been trying to find the root cause for about a week now. If anyone has encountered a issue

Thanks Kristen. I have checked the file and it now reads. However, I have another error now. The XML file isn't saving and I am getting this error:
Could not find file 'C:\Users\fenwky\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\CSV Importer\CSV Importer\bin\Debug\XmlDoc.xml'.
For some reason it's not writing the file (but trying to read it?) and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

XSLT Compile error at(649,16)

I am using Xslt Call Template in several scripting functoid.
Now I am getting the above error :
XSLT compile error at (649,16). See InnerException for details.
The contents of 'choose' are invalid.
I want to narrow down my search. Please help me out which scripting functoid to look for and how to look.

Best would be to investigate the script using Visual Studio as it highlights errors in scripts. Validate the map first and then in the output window you should see:

How can I display XSLT transformer errors on a web page ?

I have some JSP pages that access DB, create an XML based on DB data and then transform it into HTML through an XSLT stylesheet. Developing the XSL code it's easy to make mistakes and generate errors on trasformation, but what I receive on the web page is only a "Could not compile stylesheet" TransformerConfigurationException, while the real cause of the error is displayed only on tomcat logs. This is the code for transformation:

"Could not compile stylesheet".
How can I display the real cause of the error directly on the web page?

This code is part of a bigger project that let developers edit XSL stylesheets through a file upload on the system and we can't impose the use of any tool for checking the xsl. So, I need to display the transformer error on the web page.I see. This code is part of an editorial/developmental tool for developers to create and edit XSL stylesheets.
As part of the editorial process, XSL errors during editing can be considered a normal condition. In other words, it is normal to expect that the developers will generate XSL errors as they are developing stylesheets.
In this light, handling the XSL transformation errors is a business requirement that you need to handle. Using the Java Exceptions mechanisms, e.g. try / catch are inappropriate to handle business requirements, in my opinion.
I suggest that you look at how you handle the occurence of XSL errors differently than what you currently have. You need to:
(1) capture the Transformation exception on the server;
(2) extract the message from the exception and put it into a message that can be easily understood by the user;
The current error message that you have going to the web browser is not useful.
And you should not have the Transformation exception sent to the web browser either.
What you are attempting to do with the exception is not appropriate.
Handle the Transformation exception on the Business tier and use it to create a useful message that is then sent to the Presentation tier. In other words, do not send Java exceptions to web browser.

XSLT Mapping error

Hi All
I am working on PI 7.1 where I have customized standard XSLT mapping according to my requirement.
I have to add 2 fields in the standard data type ReplenishmentOrder_Notfication from SNC 7.0 SWCV.
In standard scenario once IDOC STPPOD.DELVRY03 is released from ECC the PI scenario send this to SNC Proxy ReplenishmentOrderNotification_In.
In my requirement I have to send XML file generated from IDOC to one of Application Folder. I have customized data type, message type, operation mapping, service interface by coping standard things.
So the changes I have done in standard XSLT mapping are just changin name of data type and not added any mapping for the two new fields I have added to the data type as its not require at the moment.
When I am running test I am getting follwoing error in Trace. Here please notice that its mentioning standard xslt mapping program name only though on the top you see customized names.
Please give your inputs to resolve the issue. Thanks.

XSLT mapping errors

Hi,
I am tring to develope a senario with XSLT mapping. As part of this i have
1. Created Soruce and Target data types and message types
2. Created Inbound and outbound message interfaces
3. Imported both source and target messages types (XSD) files to mapforce tool and did all mapping b/w source and target.
4. Tested the mappings with input file in mapforce tool and mappings are working fine.
5. Copied the content from the XSLT tab and saved it as .xsl file and zipped the .xls flle.
6. Imported Zip file under import archive section.
7. Created a interface mapping with the XLS file
After this i tried to test the mappings in the interface mapping using the 'Test' Tab. Interface execution failed with below error message.
"Transformer configuration exception occurred when loading XSLT mm_file.xsl (http://testxslt.com/xsltmap, e4ce06a0-231e-11db-b54f-c55b0aeb1850, -1
Could not load stylesheet.com.sap.engine.lib.xml.util.NestedException: Attribute 'separator' not allowed for element 'xsl:attribute' "
Could you please suggest me where i did wrong and give me light on this.

Hi Reddy,
It says Attribute 'separator' not allowed for element 'xsl:attribute'. So please check this. Probably you would have copied the xsds and done mapping in map force. I feel this attribute has only few values and in that values you dont have separator.
Try to open the xsd in altova and see the possible values if any are there.

XSLT Mapping Error while receiving Base64Binary content

Dear Experts,
I am new to SAP PI and working on PI 7.11. In our project we had a requirement to receive PDF file content in Base64 format from third party system by consuming the service provided by third party system with synchronous communication. The adapter we need to use is SOAP
The reason to use XSLT mapping is as our third party system used some tokens in both the request and response header, I used XSLT mapping to add the required details in request header after receiving the request from ECC system and skip the details in response to send the response to ECC system.
I have build two XSL files with XSLT mapping programs one for request and another for response using Oxygen XML editor tool. Both are checked, validated without any errors and also tested in ESB – Operation mapping which is successfully executed without errors.
The third party is sending the PDF content in Base64Binaryformat. I have also tested the WSDL from Oxygen to check the whether the service is working fine, which also successfully receiving the response from third party system.
The thing I do not understand and not able to figure out the problem is, when executing the service from ECC by sending a sample request, there is no response coming back and receiving an error saying
“TransformerException occurred during XSLT mapping Response_03 (URN:COM.XYZ_GET_ABSENCE_DETAILS, aa3a6491-e318-11e2-c1d7-c14948250cb4, -1)”
I have checked the Communication Channel which working fine. And also the message status in message monitoring wherein Request message has “Cancelled with errors” status and Response has “To Be Delivered” Status.
Could you please any of you help to figure out the issue and resolve the same.

XSLT Mapping Error - Split-MappingRoot-Tag missing

Hi,
I am getting "Split-MappingRoot-Tag missing" Error while using XSLT mapping. I am using 3 mappings in one Operation Mapping.
1) Java Mapping 2) Message Mapping 3) XSLT Mapping.
When I have these mappings in a BPM one after another it is working fine.
But ,if I put these mappings one after another in one Operation mapping it is giving problem after message mapping is complete.
I tried to remove XSLT mapping and Msg Mapping is producing correct output which can be used as input for XSLT mapping.
Any idea what could be the reason. Any hep is appreciated.

RFC-Call from a xslt/javamapping error

We implemented an Szenario IDOC to Mail(attachement).
Our incomming IDOC is a standard-IDOC from SAP.
ISU_INTERVAL_USAGE_INFORMATION.ISU_VDEW_MSCONS
our Target is an EDIFACT-File attached to a mail.
We did this succesfully before in a similar Szenario with UTILMD-IDOCs to a CSV-attachement of a mail.
Because there is no Mailinformation in these IDOCs, we do a RFC-Call to a backendsystem (SAP-ISU) wich delivers the information selected by the IDOC-number.
This is the XSLT for this call:

In the latest version of the package SAP also deliveres a package for eclipse to test the mappings.
Also make sure that your data in IS-U (serviceanbieter) is maintained correct!

XSLT - Exception error when using XSLT 2.0 code in Transform on LiveCycle ES2

I'm new to using this forum, so apologies in advance in I have posted this to the wrong place.
I'm using Adobe LiveCycle ES2.5 (Jboss) and have written several complex XSLT scripts. All have worked, with the exception of the latest one in which I have to sum a repeating subnode that maynot exist and if it does, may contain a number or be empty. When I have used SUM by itself, it works perfectly if I all the nodes have values, but returns zero if any are missing or are empty. After some searching I found a solution (which I have made bold) in the fragment below.

I developed and tested this xslt in XMLSpy 2011 and it works a treat. However, when I invoke the XSLT using the Services\XSLT Transformation 1.0\Transform, I get the following exception error:

Now as far as the documentation is concerned ES2 and better should be using XSLT 2.0. However to test a theory I changed the stylesheet version from 2.0 to 1.0 and re-ran the xslt in XMLSpy and it fell over at exactly the same place as the exception error. Which makes me conclude that LC ES2+ is still using XSLT 1.0.
Now I am stuck. The only work around that I can see is to attempt to do the calculation in the form (which sort of defeats the point of usng XSLT). That said I am reluctant to go down that path, since the maintenance overhead is going to be shocking if I have to apply to dozens of forms.
Is there a way to tell the Transform service to use XSLT 2.0 and if so, how and what are the settings? Or do I need to find and use a different transform engine, again if so which one should I use and what settings should I make at either JBoss and/or AdminUI level.
Really hoping that someone can help.

1) Stop LiveCycle.
2) Add the .jars of your XSLT processor of choice to the LiveCycle server lib folder.
3) Restart LiveCycle.
4) Go to Workbench and stop the XSLT service. Right-click on XSLTService:1.0 and Edit Service Configuration.
5) Enter the factory name for the given XSLT processor. I think for Xalan 2.7.1 it is org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl (but I could be wrong).
6) Restart the service.

XSLT Trasnformation (Error message)

Hi,
I want to create a xslt transformation for xml. I have a string field where i have included the content of this xml.
When i want to call the transformation i get the message error in the debugger.
"Bei XML-ABAP Transformation wurde das Element abap erwartet."
In english it means that he excepted the element abap for the xslt transformation.
Here is my xslt transformation:

I think now I understand your problem:
You want a list of pmlcore:Tag data and each one contains the information of pmlcore:DateTime and the ReaderID element - but both elements are not children of pmlcore:Tag.
Of course this is possible in XSLT. Therefore there is an own language called XPath that address elements within the whole XML tree. You already used XPath within the select-Attribute in xsl:for-each, xsl:value-of and in xsl:template, too.
There are a lot of possibilities to solve this problem in XPath:

In this case I changed the result of the transformation (i.e. the ABAP structure). For the sake of simplicity I used a local structure but you can also create those types within the DDIC. We deserialize a list. Within each item there are four elements: ID, DATATUME and READERID. Because we want an entry for each tag we use xsl:foreach. The ID element gets the value for the pmluid:ID child. DATATIME and READERID are not within the same pmlcore:Tag elements because the belong to pmlcore:Observation . In XPath we can adress the this parent element using ".." and so the XPath expresseion for the wanted element is ../pmlcore:DateTime resp. ../pmlcore:Data/pmlcore:XML/ReaderID.
And this is the result:

Here we define two templates. The first matches for the root-element and then starts the processing using xsl:apply-templates for a specific set of nodes. Then the XSL processor select those nodes and looks for a certain template to apply - i.e. the second template in our case. With these techniques you can create very generic transformations and with the help of recursion you can code very elegant and powerful transformations.

SOAP Response XSLT Transformation Error

I am doing a webservice call and trying to transform the SOAP Response using XSLT.
I am getting the following error when the command CALL TRANSFORMATION Executes.
The element abap was expected for the XML-ABAP transformation
Please let me know if anyone ave received this error before and how did you solve it.
