XY graph probem. Please help!

I am attaching two vi's and an .mdb access file.
The viewhistory.vi fetches data from the .mdb file and plots the graph.(supporting vi -->authentication table read.vi)
The problem which i want to correct in the graph plot is that, the points are very closely plotted.
The x axis contains the time (date and time).
when the database contains large amounts of data, the points are so closely plotted that x scrollbar need not be used and the points cannot be viewed distinctly.
Could anyone please active the x scrollbar and adjust the plot so that the points are relatively far apart so as to see clearly.
i dont mind scrolling far so to view to points plotted.

Unfortunately, LabVIEW graphs do not have scrollbars. They have equivalent functionality in the graph palette. You can activate this by right clicking the graph and selecting Visible Items»Graph Palette. This will give you access to a variety of zoom controls.
Alternately, you can implement your own scrollbars using the horizontal or vertical scrollbar controls. Use the event structure to determine when the scrollbar changes and change the graph ranges using property nodes. This is a fairly advanced application of LabVIEW, so use the palette if you can.

It's not really designed for real time charts (each data change redraws the whole chart) but if you are only updating the chart every 5 seconds or so, it might meet your requirements.
JFreeChart is open source (LGPL) so it will only cost you your time to evaluate it...

It seems to be the SET_SERIE_COLOR() method added to the FormsGraph revised version, but this latest version is momentarily not available for download.
I think there is an existant open thread on this. Maybe you could find it using the Forum Search box.

Download probem in itunes please help

Hi everyone, i recently tried to download an episode of a program from itunes, but after downloading 50% of the file it stopped and a message appeared which said parts of the file were corrupted and i should try downloading it again by clicking on 'check for available downloads' from the store tab. However, when i do this, the file starts up again and looks as though it will continue downloading the other half of the file, but then it stops and the same message appears about the file being corrupt. I have also tried to buy the episode again but i get the message that i have already bought this file and should try clicking on 'check for available downloads' again. So as you can see im just going around in circles.

Please help me about jdeveloper application deployment for weblogic

At the beginning I just thought after developing an adf application then just deploy it as a .ear file and deploy it in the weblogic console and everything will be ok.But in fact I got a lot of problems. Then I got a tutorial for that and I do what it said step by step but some new problems occured. Now could somebody tell how did you deploy your adf application?
Here is the errors I got.
This is the install packege and the OS I use:
1. CentOS 6.3_x64 + jdeveloper11123.jar(include wls10.3.5) + adr(package name is ofm_appdev_generic_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of1.zip)[and just now I used a solaris11 vm from oracle and install jdeveloper11.1.2.3, the same probem occured as in CentOS.]
2. Win7_x64 + jdeveoper11123.exe(include wls10.3.5) + adr mentioned above
Here is the problems I get:
in the case 1,after I install the jdeveloper(using sun jdk 1.7), the weblogic seems to be well though I didn't configure a domain.But after I open an
application(which I get from the oracle jdeveloper tutorial demo,which works well in my Win7 env) and I run it, the integrated weblogic can't get
started. Firstly in the console it said the -jrocket identifier is not recognized, then I modify the setDomainEnv.sh and the startWebLogic.sh file in the
integrated wls domain (the one in the .jdeveloper directer) to set the JAVA_VM variable to -server.After that another problem came out: when the
wls goes to status "starting",it is blocked and I turn to the system monitor it shows that a java thread using more than 1GB of memory of my system
and occupy 150% of my cpu(it's a double-core computer). I wait for about 5 minutes when a error came said "PermSize is too small".then I modify the
setDomainEnv.sh file again to set the PermSize to be 1024m and MaxPermSize to be 2048.(the variable name is something like that, maybe not the
exactly right. I think you can understand which one it is.) But the problem is still there.
then in the case 2.Firstly the jdev and the integrated wls works well, but when i deploy an application which works well to a ear file and deploy it to a
standalone wls(10.3.5) it never works.the error is something referrence/dependences libraries is not found.Then I tried to new a server connection to
the standalone wls and I got the tutorial [how_to_deploy_adf|http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/jdeveloper/howto/11114/managedserver/wlsadfms.html] , as the tutorial said I patch my standalone
wls with the adr and everything goes ok, no error reported.Then I tried the new server in the new machine under the manage of the adminserver and apply the
adf template in the localhost:port/em console. But after I restart the new server(by the console and then by the stop+startweblogic.bat file) the server is running
while the application in the new server is just "Unavailable". I tried this for three times in three computer, two of them are running win7,the other one is running winxp.
I don't know what is wrong and I am totally a newbie about this. Somebody please help me.Thanks a lot!

there are a couple of problems. First of all, jdev comes with it'S own jdk bundled in the product (jdk 1.6_x). Next thing is if you use JDev 11.1.2.3.0 to build an application you must use a wls 10.3.5 or 10.3.6 where you need to install the correct runtime onto. In your case you first install adf runtime 11.1.1.6.0 and then you need to install two patches which update the adf runtime to 11.1.2.3.0. These spathes are only available via support.oracle.com, meaning you need asupport contract to get them.

The rest of your problems go away once you have installed the right adf runtime on your server.

Reinstalling from the original Snow Leopard disk probably got you a version of OS X earlier than 10.6.8.
Running Software Update multiple times MIGHT eventually fix the problem.
A Combo Update is supposed to be a complete set of all OS X files that were updated in any release of that version of OS X.
So, the Combo update is a shorter path to get the updates all at once, in one download of OS X 10.6.8 Combo Update v1.1.

The full combo download is about 1 Gigabyte, so it will take a while.
You'll still need to download Safari v5.1.7 from this non-Apple link to get to the latest release, selecting Get Older Version for OS X 10.6.8.

Group values on Barchart - Please help Urgent

I am plotting a bar chart.
I am plotting chart "on change of" first group name.and showing 3 values which i get in formulas.
I had to place these formulas in lowest level of subgroup just above the details ( i don`t need any details).
i am getting all the values properly.
But it is plotting the graph with group A values as group B values.
In other words,
on starting group all the 3 values will be zeros.By the end of this group (after details) i will get 3 values.
I want to plot chart with these values as starting group values.
But as took "on change of" group name it is plotting zeros initially and the result of group A as the result of Group B and so on.
Please help me how can i plot chart after a group is evaluated.

I am using bar Chart ( side by side bar chart).

I want show msx3 in the bar chart .so first i initialized it to zero and counted all the records which suits my criteria and showing the same value in the bar against that group.( i am explaining with one formula msx3 only..anyway remaining are similar).
This value is initially zero and will give a count number at the end of this Group #1 Name ( plz see pictures).
My problem is i have take "On change of" Group# 1 Name in the data of chart expert and showing the formulas ( with don`t Summarize option checked).
It is giving me the result properly but plotting the values of first iteration ( when the first time the group is evaluated) ans result of second iteration.I understand this is because of "on change of " option ,when it is plotting all the values will be zeros.
I have to plot the chart with values after evaluating the group #1 but not before evaluating it.
Please give me any idea over it.I am not an expert and it is urgent.

Slow running data for heart rate variability VI Please help my thesis is due in 3days!! :(

Hi there i'm having a great issue with a VI i have created to detect heart rate variabilty from ECG and PPG signals and seeing which one is most accurate with regards to HRV.
I initially recorded 25 minutes worth of data and saved this into a text file. which has 2 columns the 1st being PPG data the 2nd ECG. There are at least 1000000 rows of data
I am now running this data into a VI which should give me results such a RMSDD PNN50, poincare plots and histograms etc the trouble i'm having is the VI is initially starts of fast then becomes incredibly slow i left it running for over 10hours and it hardly read any data
and me not being such a big labview expert knows how to fix this. I would be most grateful if somone could help me find my error as my thesis is due in 3 days and i'm stuck on this last part. I have attached my VI below . please please help me!

First question: does the code produce the correct result, just slowly?
So you have a million data points and process them one point at a time in a FOR loop, updating several xy graphs and charts and building arrays. Most indicators will get overwritten with each iteration.
You are heavily filtering the data (twice!) and take the derivative (twice=second derivative). You are doing a pt-by-pt peak finding on 50 points with every new point added, meaning that you mostly analyze the same data (differing by only one point with each iteration. Seems inefficient. Wouldn't you detect most peaks 50x?
Since your data is filtered, maybe it would be sufficient to decimate the data before the loop processing. How correlated are adjacent points?
Have you analyzed which part of the code is slowest? What is the current execution time ("slow" is subjective) and what speed would you like to have instead?
Things like the histogram only needs to be done exactly once at the end. It seems pointless to do it over and over, a million times in a row even if the data did not change. Same problem for all the graphs.
You seems to take the difference between adjacent points in the generated array. Again you are repeating the same calculation over and over. Wouldn't it be much more effiicent to keep the array of pairwise differences in the shift register and use a scalar shift register to retain the immediately previous point. Subtract the new point from the previous and add it to the array instead.

Yes, same problem too; I've already sent an email to apple support and just received a very vague and unpractical response with "call apple support in your country" as main advice. I've obviously emailed back stating that I need a clearer response and I don not have any intention to spend money calling for support when updates is a free tool. I do also believe this is a probem generated on Apple's end, I just wish they learned to say "sorry, it's us; working on it!"

Keynote Chart is driving me mad...please help

Hi, Can someone please help me with this problem..I'm already getting fedup thinking of not using iwork ever again.
I'm trying to do a scatter chart with the following results

The chart however for some reason plots an extra point at 0/0. This problem doesn't happen when using numbers but if i drag the chart to keynote , keynote adds this extra point. Tried every possible solution i can think of with no success.

I did both, Did the chart in numbers and dragged it to keynote and also did the chart from scratch in keynotes by copy/pasting the data. Both ways i got an extra 0/0 point plotted on the graph.

Can't get my table to sort. Please help

Can't seem to get my table to sort. That was a non-issue with the previous version of Numbers but now if I try to sort ascending by totals it just shuffles my numbers with no visible logic. Please help, this is such a simple task, shouldn't be so hard. I tried all suggestions on the forum and nothing works. This is a snapshot of the table:

Hi Dannie,
Sorting in Numbers 3 follows a different pattern from Numbers 2. Formulas do not automatically adjust.
When Numbers 3 was installled, it was placed in your Applications folder. Numbers 2 was moved to a subfolder called iWork '09 within your applications folder.
With your document open in Numbers 3, File > Export To > Numbers '09. Then use Numbers '09 (Numbers 2) to work on it.

The trick is to drag icons for both versions to your Dock. Right click or control click on each and Options > Keep in Dock. That puts you in charge of which version you launch.
Here is a screen shot of both Numbers icons on my Dock.
Numbers 2.3 (Numbers '09) on the left with a three column graph.
Numbers 3.2 on the right with a four column graph.
Both versions will run happily together. Just be sure which version is opening your document.
Instead of double clicking the document, run whichever version of Numbers/Pages/Keynote suits and use File > Open.

I have multiple issues. first, i have a problem on iteration. i am given
(x,f(x)) and (x + d, f( x + d)), where x ranges from Xmin to Xmax and d = (Xmax - Xmin)/100. Draw the curve f(x) = X^3/100 - x + 10, where x ranges from -10 to 10 in this fashion. And am asked to draw a hundred line segments joining those points.
I have already figured that the distance d = 10-(-10)/100 which is equal to 0.2. Since i am told to draw 100 line segments, i figured that increasing -10 by .2 will take 100 iterations to get to 10.
Now my question is how do i use a "for" loop to represent the above statement. I have tried couple of them, but it doesn't seem right. example of the one i tried is:
let x = 10
for(i = -10; i < x; i++). I know this is wrong. Please help if anyone can. I will really appreciate and thanks in advance.

This is how far i have gotten. Now i don't know how to set up my 'for' loop for the x values. That is, how can i state that from -10 with an increment of 0.2 will take 100 iterations to get to 10. I hope am not confusing you. Below is the question

Tilde symbols are driving me mad! Please help!!

Hi everyone,
I am experiencing a problem where the Tilde symbol is being added to file names after I have 'saved for web' in photoshop. Regular names suddenly go to all caps with a tilde symbol added in the middle.
For example:
'File-name.jpg' suddenly becomes some like 'FILE~NAME.JPG'
This is particularly problematic when I then need to use these images online.
Please help, very simple jobs are taking a very long time!!!

I did both, Did the chart in numbers and dragged it to keynote and also did the chart from scratch in keynotes by copy/pasting the data. Both ways i got an extra 0/0 point plotted on the graph.
