Yellow Bar showing in IE7

Hey all,
I'm getting a weird problem in IE7 and just cannot figure out
how to solve it. My website is www.overman.info, and my IE7 problem
can be viewed at
http://www.overman.info/Images/Global/Example1.jpg.
I fixed the double bar problem shown in the example picture,
but in the far left sidebar there is a yellow space of about 30
pixels or so that I cannot figure out how to get rid of.
Please help! My site launches July 18th, and this is one of
the few hangups, but I really fear this one...Evreything I have
tried so far has failed.
Thanks

And that CSS is pretty voluminous. Try changing it to this -
.twoColFixLtHdr #sidebar1 {
float: left; /* since this element is floated, a width must
be given */
width: 175px;
background-color: #FFFF00;
height: 100px;
margin: 0px;
border-top-width: 1px;
border-top-style: solid;
border-top-color: #000000;
padding-top: 0px;
position: relative;
I'd love to help more, but that music has no OFF BUTTON!

    The question is how do I get rid of this yellow bar always but still opne a document in write mode.
    Thanks,

    This sounds more like a user question that an SDK question - try the

  • I have Mac and I'm in the USA but keep getting a yellow bar with the words, "This website appears to be blocked from your country"

    I've gotten the yellow bar on USA sites but I think my country is somehow showing as the UK on firefox because sometimes when I've gone to websites like pogo or Amazon it's defaulted to the UK version. How do I set my country or get rid of this problem on Mac?

    Hi Lee,
    Thank you for your question.
    I am trying to involve someone more familiar with this topic for a further look at this issue. Sometime delay might be expected from the job transferring. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

  • HT201402 What is the yellow bar in storage means.

    The storage yellow bar is pretty full.  How can I lower this storage part in my computer.

    Anything that's not an audio, movie, photo, app or backup. So it could be text files, spreadsheets, system files, pdfs, ebooks, presentations, email, fonts, etc.
    WhatSize is a program that will show you the size of files and folders on your drive and help you decide what to delete.

  • When I load firefox I do not get the yellow bar at very top. Why not?

    I have loaded Firefox 5.0 and I do not get the yellow bar across the very top that all the instructions show and that shows on my daughters computer.

    You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options.
    If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.
    You can place the Tab Bar on top.

  • Yellow bar in Storage

    In "About My Apple" under the storage tab, what does the yellow bar "other" mean? Other takes up most of my storage and I'm out of space on my disc so I'd like to trash some things.

    For information about the Other category in the Storage display, see this support article. If the Storage display seems to be inaccurate, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.
    Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
              iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
    Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then restart the computer. That will temporarily free up some space.
    According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation—not the mythical 10%, 15%, or any other percentage. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
    When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as  Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.
    See this support article for some simple ways to free up storage space.
    You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) or GrandPerspective (GP) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one. Note that ODS only works with OS X 10.8 or later. If you're running an older OS version, use GP.
    Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
    Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
    ODS or GP can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
    Back up all data now.
    If you have more than one user account, make sure you're logged in as an administrator. The administrator account is the one that was created automatically when you first set up the computer.
    Install the app you downloaded in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
    Triple-click anywhere in the corresponding line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
    sudo /Applications/GrandPerspective.app/Contents/MacOS/GrandPerspective
    Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
    Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator. Ignore any other messages that appear in the Terminal window.
    The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders, sorted by size. It may take a few minutes for the app to finish scanning.
    I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
    When you're done with the app, quit it and also quit Terminal.

  • How to hide "Resfresh" button in top yellow bar of guided procedures?

    Hi Folks
    I would like to remove the "Refresh" button in the top yellow bar of an guided procedures workitem. You get to this yellow bar when you click on an uwl workitem which is associated with guided procedures view. Does anybody know how to hide this button?
    Thanks a lot for helping!!
    Kind regards
    Bettina

    Dear Bettina,
    this will be a feature of NetWeaver CE 7.2.
    Until then it simply is not possible.
    There is one workaround, you can use the SingleTask view of a Process Instance, which however will show ONLY the action itself, without the Process Title, or the Ctx Panel or the Phase Navigator.
    If this works for you, I can guide you how to achieve it.
    Regards,
    George.

  • Don't get a yellow bar after clicking "install" the Adobe update

    The adobe reader update won't install automatically. Both Adobe & Firefox remedies say that a yellow bar will appear at top of page after you click on "install". I don't get a yellow bar, nor can I find any box for editing allowed download sources.

    The instructions on the Adobe site are outdated and do no longer apply to current Firefox versions and you can ignore those instructions and save the Adobe installer to your desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that file.

  • Why yellow bar with ProRes when settings match?

    I have a 1920x1080 25fps QuickTime ProRes HQ file.
    When I drag it onto the new item button, the resulting sequence shows a yellow bar, even though all the settings match between the clip and the sequence.
    Why?
    I tried various timeline codecs & setting. Always the yellow bar.
    (And Premiere 'automatically' set the timeline to "ARRI Cinema" inititally.)

    Please note that many of the Sequence Presets are duplicates of one another. Doesn't matter that your preset says "ARRI" - if the specs match your footage, then that is all that matters. For example, if your clip is 1920x1080, 25fps, progressive, 1.0 pixel aspect, and so is the Sequence, it's all good. ARRI was chosen since Premiere looks down the list alphabetically and finds the first option that matches your footage. You will also find a matching sequence under AVCHD for example with all the same specs again. You don't need a "ProRes" sequence or a "Custom" sequence.
    And as Mark's link notes, no need to worry about "Yellow" bars, just edit.
    Thanks

  • Yellow Bar "Other" Capacity

    My iphone capacity is showing 1.83g used in the "other" yellow bar.  I don't know what this is or how to lower it, but it sucking up a whole bunch of space.  Lil help, please.

    Thanks, everyone, for the input.  I have what I think is a nominal amount of Contacts.  It's not a business list or anything like that, just personal contacts and some service providers, etc.  Real ordinary.  And this seemingly ever-increasing yellow bar of "other" in my itunes capacity was not that big when I brought the phone home from the Verizon store in November, 2011, just a couple of months ago.  I may have added a few, but the salesperson in Verizon copied them over from my previous non-smart phone.  I don't know when the yellow bar stared growing, but it is the primary consumer of my available space, and I just don't have that many contacts.  I've read on other forums that it might be mirroring some stuff that I've already deleted.  Dunno.  I've heard some say to Restore the OS to its original condition and then reload.  Any thoughts?

    If Other (the yellow bar) is too big something is corrupted.  The only solution (that I know of) is to restore from your most recent backup using iTunes (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).

  • Mac OSX will not boot, when I log in, it shuts down after grey screen and grey loading bar show up: PLEASE HELP (:

    So here is a lowdown on my problem.
    I start my mac OSX, I hold down the alt/option key and load my MAC osx drive (which is the only drive available; however, when i do not hold down the alt/option key it will go to a black screen that says "no bootable device, press a key when device inserted").  Continuing, it then goes to my login screen where I have my username, and I can enter my password like usual.  I enter my password, hit the enter button (like I always do), and this is where my problem begins.
    After I enter my login and hit enter, the screen goes grey, with a little apple symbol in the middle and a different shade of grey loading bar underneath.  This grey loading bar shows up for about 10 seconds, fills up about 10-20 percent, and then shuts my computer down.
    No matter what I do, this process repeats over and over, and heres where the problem gets worse, and this part is VERY IMPORTANT and is the most depressing, stressful part of the process.
    NONE of the startup/boot commands work except holding the alt/option key.  I can't hold: Command plus r; command pr  to reset PRAM; shift to enter safe mode.
    I really dont know what to do here :/.  I have files that I want on the hard drive, that are pretty important but not critical.  I gave up on wanting the files back but now I want to simply WIPE my computer and re-install a clean version of OSX onto the computer, but I CANNOT GET TO THE REINSTALLER :(.
    More information that may be helpful:
              I do have a partition on the HDD that I was going to use for Bootcamp, but it does not have anything installed on it (thus causing the "no bootable device" screen to load, and probably causing the boot commands not to work).
              My version of Mac OSX is 10.8.4. "MBP 15.4/2.8/16GB/768 flash"
              The last time I restarted my computer, my mac OSX RAM was down to 1.75 GB, with nothing open.  Usually when nothing is open the free RAM is around 10-13 GB (I know this because I have the activity monitor always open, and I use my computer a lot).
              Again, boot commands will not work, except for holding the alt/option key.
    So if anyone can help me fix my problem(s), which are:
    1: using boot commands; 2: reinstalling mac OSX; or 3: getting my files,
    I would love you forever.  I would really prefer 1 or 2.  Thanks for reading this.

    Oh and one more thing, I do not have a disc drive in the mac osx.  The version I have comes without one.
    I am very puzzled about what to do right now.

    After upgrading to Lion, I went to open Mail and received the message that it needed to upgrade my Mail database - this may take a few minutes. The bar shows it is about 1/5 along and has been there for over 10 hours.
    I tried quitting and starting again but it just jumps back to the same spot.

    It is quite large, but I have tried two of the fixes suggested and things now seem to be moving along.

  • I need to add a website to the sites which are allowed to install add-ons & have instructions to do so but do not have a yellow bar across the top of my screen in order to click on "Edit Options."

    I tried to install an update for Adobe Reader but Mozilla Firefox will not install it until I add them to the Allowed List. The first step is to click on "Edit Options" in the yellow bar across the top, but i don't have a yellow bar or actually anything that says Edit Options.
