If something is too good to be true it probably is. As Jonathan says, you are most likely in possession of stolen merchandise (seriously if you had an expensive electronic to sell would YOU sell it on a street corner where it's an untracable cash transaction or would you sell it online or to a retail place for store credit?)

  • Using US ipad in the UK and buying iphone 4 in the US to bring back to UK

I am thinking of buying a ipad 2 in the US when I visit there to bring back to the UK. I will then be heading home to Australia next year. Can someone help me to confirm:
    1) is there any issues (eg power differences, adaptors, getting wifi set up) buying an ipad in the US and then using it in the UK? Do I just need to get a UK Sim (can you get a prepaid sim for ipads rather than locking into a contract?) I was going to buy the 16gb wifi on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Apple-MC769LL-Tablet-Black-NEWEST/dp/tech-data/B0013FRNKG/ ref=de_a_smtd, this seems to be pretty much the same spec as the US version on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Apple-MC769LL-Tablet-Black-NEWEST/dp/tech-data/B0013FRNKG/ ref=de_a_smtd only difference I can see is the UK version says '
Wireless Connectivity: 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR' and the US version says '
    Wireless Type: 802.11abg '
    2) I presume if there's no issues for 1), then there shouldn't be any issues when I return to Australia.
    3) Is it possible to buy the iphone 4 handset in the US and then use it in the UK?
    thanks guys

If you are getting the wifi ony version then you don't need a sim card - you only need a micro-sim card for the 3G/wifi versions. If you do get a 3G version in the US then get the AT&T version as they are GSM/sim based; the Verizon model is CDMA based and doesn't use sim cards.
    Wifi is the same.
I don't know whether the iPhones are locked or not.

  • HT3209 If you buy a movie on the IPad in HD(720p) are you able to download in 1080p resolution? Or do you have to buy the 1080p or is there even such a thing?

As far as I can tell, yes. I purchased an HD movie on my old Apple TV 2 (720p) and just upgraded to the Apple TV 3 (1080p) and it displays 1080p on the info sheet and plays in that quality, so I have a feeling the same should go for you with your iPad.

  • TS4268 If you buy an iPad mini in the UAE without FaceTime, and then bring it back to the UK and supply it with a UK carrier sim card will FaceTime download itself and work?

If you buy an iPad mini in the UAE without FaceTime, and then bring it the UK and supply with a UK carrier sim card will FaceTime download if connected to iTunes?
    Thanks.

An iPad from the UAE can not have FaceTime installed/activated, even if it is in a different country.

  • If you buy an IPad online would it have an Apple warranty and can you get extended warranty from Apple

If you buy an iPad online would it have an Apple warranty. Can you get extended warranty?

If you buy it from the Apple Online store yes it will have full 1 year warranty, and the possibility to directly buy Apple Care +.
If you buy it from somewhere else, it may not. If the online seller is not an Apple authorized reseller then you may need to take to to an Apple Store for physical inspection before purchasing the Apple Care Plus extension.
If its not sealed and new, the warranty timer may have started to elapse, and it may not be eligible for Apple Care +.
But without knowing where you plan to buy it its hard to say for sure.

If I buy an iPad in the US, can I use it with a European carrier's sim card as well?

Yes, if you get an iPad 2 AT&T model or a new iPad. Be aware that the new iPad may not use the same frequency for LTE that is used is parts of Europe.

I want to buy an ipad mini Wifi Cellular and use it in Central Asia,so there are two models: A1454 and A1455,what is the difference?

Either will work fine in Central Asia as loge ad the carries support GSM (almost all do).
One of the iPads will only work with the AT&T GSM) network if you are in the USA and the Other with the Virizon network (uses CDMA, not GSM/SIM) if you are in the USA

i buy new ipad but the garranty in my country don't support it,, and now i have a problem in the device,,, what is the solution?

Take it yourself or send it to friend in country where guarantee supports it.
Do not try to ship it to Apple - they will not accept international
shipments nor will they return it to you.
What is the problem? Maybe someone here can offer some advice to solve
    the problem.

    A 15" mid-2009 MBP RAM specifications are: 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM.
As has been pointed out, OWC is an excellent source for Mac compatible RAM.  Crucial is another first rate source for Mac RAM.  RAM from either vendor will work just as well as any purchased from Apple with the bonus of being less expensive and having a lifetime guarantee.
    Ciao.

  • If you get an iPad with the 3G do you have to pay for internet service?

If you get an iPad with the 3G do you have to pay for internet service?

No. But you have to purchase a data plan in order to use the iPad via the 3G connection. Some 3G iPad owners do not have internet service at home and rely only on the 3G connection.
If you do not purchase a data plan to use with the 3G, then you will only be able to use your iPad where you can find a WiFi connection - like at a library, or a Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, a friend's house that has WiFi .....

How do you charge your iPads in the classroom? Is this convenient?

What's the difference between and educator and a teacher?  I always called my teachers "Teacher" or "Teach".
Most use a large cart that hold about a dozen iPads and charge them simultaneously.
