They may not have gotten a flat tire had the Verizon rep not told the OP that the problem would be resolved with a replacement device if the problem persisted. It's enough they have a non-functional phone but when a csr feigns empathy and the OP takes them at their word, and follows up on the csr recommendation only to be blindsided by another csr going down a different solution path, then throw in the flat and most normal people would be ticked off! The OP didn't state how far the Verizon store was. That alone could have been a substantial inconvenience.

  • Best Buy You SUCK at customer service

    I wanted to purchase a Sony PS4 Last of Us remastered bundle online and pick it up in a store, however, none were in stock locally. It showed that it was in stock online for shipping. I did not want to ship an item this expensive to my home and have it sitting outside on my porch all day, so I wanted to order it and ship it to my local store. There appeared to be no way to do that online, so I opened a chat session with Best Buy customer service. After explaining what I wanted to do to this person, they proceeded to ask for SKU numbers and zip codes and to just repeat back to me what I had already told them, that it was not in stock locally. I HAD already established that fact. I told her I wanted it shipped to the store and not to my home and she said you cannot do that. <br><br>Later that evening, I decided to check the stores in a different city where I was going over the weekend to see if it was in stock and if so, I would be able pick it up then. I was glad to see that it showed the item as being in stock and I placed an order online and selected a store for pickup. I received an order confirmed email and soon after I received a YOUR ORDER IS READY FOR PICKUP email. I was very happy that things were working out so that I could get the Sony PS4 after all because it was a last minute surprise birthday gift for my child. However, things went horribly bad soon after I read the "your order is ready for pickup" email. I was not available to answer the phone and an employee from the store that I had selected for pickup left a message on our machine stating that the Sony PS4 Last of Us bundle that I had ordered was not available and did I want to get something else instead. My child was the one that played the message back and came running asking if I was buying a PS4. <br><br>Needless to say, I am irate over all of this. I had received an ORDER IS READY FOR PICKUP email, so why did I get that If the order was NOT READY FOR PICKUP?!! Why is one of your store employees calling my house and saying it's not available after I was sent the order is ready for pickup email? I am so angry over that phone call because it ruined the birthday surprise that I had planned for my child. She has been wanting the PS4 since last year and I had purposely made her believe that I wasn't going to get her one. You should realize that people buy things as gifts throughout the year and you should not be calling and leaving messages stating what someone ordered where other family members can hear the message too. Regardless of that, I never should have been getting the phone call in the first place, since I had already received an ORDER IS READY FOR PICKUP email. {removed per forum guidelines} <br><br>You are the most incompetent retail business that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have ordered from you in the past and the transactions were satisfactory then.     In so many ways verizon and HTC are being corporate monsters who don't care to tick off its customers any longer, and this needs to end. I hope everybody will read this and help towards stopping verizons corrupt practices, please post your horror stories and maybe verizon will attempt to satisfy its customers for once.

    You have a brand new device on a brand new network, minor problems are going to happen..
    Have you tried to bump charge the battery? turn off wifi/bluetooth, change screen brightness off. Download juice defender and set up a proper profile.
    HTC put the same battery in this phone as the incredible, maybe go troll their forums..
    If the charging port is bad you can take it to the store and replace it, there has to be something you are leaving out of that story.
    Of course you get charged for an extended battery, it is an accessory's

  • Appalling service, BT you suck!

    So we have moved into a brand new house on a new development in "distant" Derbyshire. During the purchase process I was warned by the builders that BT were dragging their heels on expanding the number of lines available in the green box servicing our estate. They said I should contact BT asap which I duly did a whole three months in advance of our moving in date. When I spoke to BT's representative in the call centre in Bangalore (?) I was assured that there was no problem and that our phone and broadband would be active on the 30th of March - a few days after moving in - perfect! Just before moving I received a message from BT telling me that the phone line would be connected on the 30th and I'd receive a call on the 31st to tell me why/when the ADSL would be connected/setup. When the 30th passed and no engineer from OpenReach appeared I called BT again to be told that the builder had not installed the conduit under the ground to install the cable. I explained I knew that was incorrect as I could see said conduit outside my front door with some blue rope to pull the phone cable through with. The builders even offered to pull the cable through if BT provided it. The date then slipped to the 7th. When the 7th came and went with nothing from BT I rang them again and this time I was told that the green box at the end of the road needs to be expanded to provide me with a phone line. It seems I'm going round in circles, unable to speak to anyone at Openreach to extract any rational explanation or impart and sense of urgency. BT has sat on their big fat ass for three months and done nothing to fix a problem with their infrastructure, a problem which they initially assured me didn't exist!! How can you run a business this way? It's appalling, verging on incompetence. There are going to be at least ten other houses on this estate in the same situation. I work from home - I was prepared to be without service for a few days, but seriously - a whole month? Besides the fact that I now have no confidence in any dates you give me. I'm seriously considering legal action.

    And so the saga continues...  
    Today's update: (though BT were warned 3 months in advance by me and even more in advance by the builders who built our new house...) the advisor we spoke to today at BT "Customer Care" (aka BT we don't give a flying **Bleep**) informed us that "the contractors" (BT revel in blaming someone else, anyone else, preferably who we can't speak to) had made "a mistake" in their estimates and though the previous advisor had assured us repeatedly that we'd be connected today, we now have to wait until the 5th of May for the "line work to be completed" (work that could have been started and completed months ago) and we will receive a phone call on the 6th of May to tell us when we will actually have a working phone line.  So here I am sitting connected to the Internet through my Three Mobile (the one plan) contract phone tethering via a wireless repeater.  
    I fancy seeing what odds Ladbrooks will give us on that 5th of May date.  Then I might win back the money I have spent so far for me to continue working from home (rather than face a 200 mile daily commute) on access points, wireless repeaters, phone contracts and now a voip adapter.
    So thanks BT and may I just vent: you really are a bunch of **Edited** idiots!  Oh btw I've contacted BBC Watchdog as it seems they did a piece on another road off our estate last year where an on call surgeon had to wait from August until December to get connected by you - I think a follow-up is needed as you have not really shown much improvment.  Also I'm writing to OFCOM.

    Just bought the 30gb Video,tried downloading the music I had on Itunes (Also have a mini) keep getting the error message -69 and transfer stops at a particular song,deleted song tried again stops at another song after 3-4 songs are transferred.Songs from the same album will transfer without a problem,then stops at same song.Deleted songs may times keeps recurring.All formats same.Tried resets/reinstalls/reformat.No change.Did not have any problems with the mini.Have not dared sync the mini since buying the video yesterday.Some body please help.

  • WTF are you people doing? Firefox sucks almost as bad as IE now, please stop "fixing" it.

    With each new version you suck a little bit more.
    You have become as bad as google, updating and changing for no good reason, in a race to the bottom with yourself.
    The whole reason I started using Firefox is because it worked, now after thousands of installs and convincing users to ditch IE you have become just as bad.
    I now restart Firefox a dozens times a day on the 3 machines I use daily. The memory requirements are staggering and FF is now SLOW.
    First thing out of the box you will say "you have too many add ons", sorry, I only use one, noscript and not even that on 2 of the three machines.
    Three tabs open and nearly 600,000K and using 1-12% CPU just to type this text.
    Don't bother with an answer, just clean up your mess. In the alternative we can all wait for someone to come along and eat your lunch. Give me a browser that WORKS and I will forget Firefox ever existed.

    Yep, firefox sucks now. I'm now forced to use Chrome.
    When watching full movie streams, it would freeze and hog the CPU for about 3 minutes and then continue.
    When I'm working on a site that uses flash, it too would freeze and hog the CPU.
    Firefox is now a system resource hog.

    Unfortunately for what I do for a living I can't use a mac, cannot WAIT till they do become compatible or I just switch professions!
    I have adobe 7Pro because I MUST create PDF documents for my business, however when my laptop crashed for the 3rd time in less than a year and I was NOT about to pay HP $400 to reboot it, instead I had fun and smashed it (like in Office Space) and went out and bought a new Sony Vaio.  This laptop is nice and all however now ALL new computers come with Gates newest form of a rip off, VISTA, which had so many issues they release a new update for it every day and professional companies wouldn't touch it, so they FORCED it on us small business owners and personal computer users, such CRAP! (If you notice all large corporations use XP, there is no Vista for large corps, there's a reason for that...
    The people that do NOT have the $ to keep upgrading and paying for FIX ITS online from some unknown who has figured a work around are forced to use this crap!!!  I'm BEYOND anoyed... ANYWHO I am installing my adobe 7pro and every time I open it I get asked to "ACTIVATE AGAIN" so I call in to get a NEW Activation code and a minute later it does it AGAIN... SOOO, I get Tech support and the IDIOT in India literally READS to me the following statements: 
    "Adobe 7 is not compatible with Vista" 
    I tell him, that's a lie because my friend uses it on vista.
    He proceeds to READ to me "If you are not satisfied with that answer, then acrobat no longer supports Adobe 7". WTF?!?!? If I am not SATISFIED with that answer!??! aparantly he was NOT supposed to read THAT part!!! Laughing I proceed to tell him to piss off and hang up on him because I am SOOO tired of all these damn AMERICAN companies outsourcing their customer service to some 3rd world country where they pay these people $5 a week and have them just read from a ******* script for your problems, that is NOT technical support, that's BULL CRAP!  I know 4 yr olds that read english better!!!
    I am sick and tired of it... I might just take advantage of the 14 day return policy and go to Apple and buy a mac next week and change my profession sooner than I had planned JUST TO AVOID USING THIS CRAP!!! ADOBE YOU SUCK!!! Microsoft SUCKS!!!
    If you run into this problem do what I am doing, go to Apple and buy a mac, we need to stand up against all this and pay attention to the COMMERCIALS that are VERY TRUE and drop Microsoft, IBM, anything Gates related and stop using their products!!!

    I'm just so frustrated, its bad enough my other laptop wasn't even 2 yrs old
    yet and I've spent $800 to have it fixed twice already, this 3rd time I was
    DONE... so I moved onto Sony, but this Vista just is making my life a living
    hell, I just spent a fortune on the laptop, and now I have to buy Adobe 9
    when my adobe 7 isn't even 2 yrs old... ugh... its just very frustrating and
    nerve racking and is costing more than I make in a week in this business
    (real estate processing)... I should sell Microsoft for a living, I'd be a
    millionaire!
    My husband's Mac has been through hell and back physically, is 5 yrs old and
    we've never had to take it in for any upgrades or issues, its SO easy to
    use... why can't Microsoft be the same?!?!

    The various Lynda.com video tutorials are very good, but you have to pay for a description.  The Photoshop User TV podcasts are excellent; there are hundreds of them, and they are free.  They are also what the iPad was invented for.
    The 'You suck at Photoshop' videos on YouTube are both very funny and very instructive. 
    The Scott Kelby books are very good for folk starting out.  The Martin Evening, and the Martin Evening/Jeff Schewe books are as good as they get from a photography point of view.  The Steve Caplin books are the best Photoshop books once you get into it, but Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski do some great medium to advanced books.  Matt's Compositing Secrets is excellent, and was Amazon's best Photoshop book for a while.

  • Why should I have pay $250 to rid myself of your products? Especially when you auto-renewed without my knowledge?

    I was paying $29 a month for a year membership. I found far better software for what I do 2/3rds through my membership and figured I'd just let the contract cancel itself. Come to find out, you're now charging me $49/month and I was told in a chat session I have to pay half of the remaining 10 months on the contract to cancel it. You can recite terms and conditions all you want, but since I wasn't properly notified, it's obvious you're trying to get away with something.
    You have 2 options.
    A) You cancel my membership, without the fee, and we go our separate ways. No harm done aside from this ridiculous waste of my time.
    B) You charge me that fee and I go out of my way to make sure people know how much you suck. I'm an art director and at well known studio. Try me.
    Your choice.

  • Bi Dashboards issue works properly some times and after not display pointers data and give un expected error and throw login window

    I have toff situation where  we deployed bi dashboards in our site and it works some time and some times not,
    and some times it keep loading and throw a login window.
    works when
    we restart performance point service  and if not work
    we re create secure store service and generated new key and create new pps service application
    before that we stopped secure store and pps service  using c.a in application server
    we are using ssas for datasource to connect  from dashboard designer
    we have seperate server for ssas dbs
    seperate application server running: pps service and secure store service
    two web front ends:  one of running secure store
    1 Domain controller + central admin service running
    some times after 4 -5 hours bi dashboards works , we dashboards not display data and throw un expected errors,
    also when we try to connect using a dashboard designer from a seperate client machine in same domain ,we have same issue , we unable to connect to ssas datasource server, and if connect some times unable to deploy dashboards.
    we tried every thin icreased server time out values  in ssas server
