You need to contact the developer and tell them to update their applications. Apple won't.

It might be the double click speed setting.
Look in System Preferences > Universal Access > Mouse & Trackpad tab > Trackpad options.. button > move the double click speed to the slow side of the range.

Scroll pad works on and off, will not work on some menus. E key will work sometimes, usualt types an upper case E and not a lower case, will not type 2 E's in a row. Works ok when typing a 2. There were some other buttons giving issues a while ago and then it all went away and now this just started again out of nowhere. I tried backing up / wiping the phone, upgraded to the latest software and it is still giving me issues. The phone has never been exposed to any sort of moisture, I don't even use it in the rain.
Another issue, possibly related, possibly not is that I get 1 vertical line and 1 horizontal line in my photos I take. This started out happening sometimes and not other times but now it is constant.

Is the phone still under warranty? If so, I'd contact Sprint as this sounds like its probably a hardware issue (especially if updating the software didn't help). If the phone isn't under warranty any more, let us know and we'll see if there is anything we can come up with that could help.

Twist touch pad and track ball not working

Hello -
We have a Thinkpad Twist S230u with an intel i7 processor. The touchpad and trackball have not worked for quite some time (last 9 months or so) - my boss used this computer and just put up with it, using a wireless mouse. I am now trying to repair it for another staff members use.
So far, I have: Re-installed windows 8, then upgraded to Windows 8.1 pro and ran all updates. Updated the BIOS, uninstalled the synaptics UltraNav driver, then reinstalled the latest driver (run as administrator). I took the keyboard out and checked the connections to the laptop from the touchpad.
Anyone have any other thoughts??

Have you tried booting from a Linux Live CD/DVD/USB drive? If it still does not work, then it is a hardware issue, not a software one.

My MacBook's built in touch pad and keyboard is not working.

Hi.
Am using a MacBook. It was working perfectly before i plug in a Non Apple USB standard keyboard
into it. when i did that,an error occurred like "please pressing the just after the Right Shift Key Button"
but there was not such kind of button on that keyboard.so i pressed the Shift key instead.
it works that time,but after some time i discovered that,my build in track pad and build in keyboard
stop responding permanently. Now i have to use my MacBook using both USB mouse and keyboard.
Is there any way to fix it?? If there is,would someone please help me,PLEASE!!!!

I don't have an answer, but have suddenly developed a similar problem. Early today we got a new Verizon FIOS router to replace an older one. Once the tech fired the thing up and we got everything in the house logged into it, I noticed that my iPhone 4S wifi speed was mighty low. Using the Speed Test app, I was getting a wavering average of between 4 and 7 Mbps. Even on the old router I was usually getting 20-30 Mbps. I checked all the other devices in my house and noted all were getting at least 25-35 Mbps--including my wife's iPhone 4S, my kids iPod 5, and our iPad 2. The wired Windows desktop gets more than 60 Mbps and the wireless laptop gets more than 40. I tried all the tricks on my iPhone--restarting, forgetting the network and the resetting it, and even resetting all of the network settings. Nothing gets me any faster, yet my wife's iPhone 4s blazes away at 25-35+. I even went into the router and played with disabling WMM and switching (briefly) to b/g mode. No luck. Finally, I decided to take out the new router and put back the old one--the verizon tech was nice enough to leave the old one with me--but my speed did not increase one iota. I'm stumped. It worked fine two days ago, and all of our other Apple devices (including an identical iPhone 4S) are fine and run at super speeds. What happened to my phone?

Mac OS apps won't go fullscreen and notification center not working

I'm on Mac OS 10.8.2, and lately my apps simply won't go full screen (e,g, safari or any other app that uses native OS X full screen), and now i've just realized that notification center doesn't show either (neither if a click on the top right button nor swipe with two fingers), although notifications keep poping up.
Does anyone have any idea what could be happening?

i'm using 10.4.7, dual 2.5g, 3g ram - flash 8 professional
i just found a work around using a combo of threads. i got it
working on a new empty file and on my current working file.
make a 3 frame movie.
don't put anything in the first two frames except this
actionscripting:
in frame 1, put fscommand("fullscreen", "true");
in frame 2, put fscommand("fullscreen", "false");
in frame 3, put fscommand("fullscreen", "true");
and then continue on w/ the rest of your actionscripting in
this frame and on...
placing the three toggling fscommands all in the same frame
did not seem to provide enough time for flash to react.
i realize this is ugly w/ the flashing notfull/fullscreen. i
hate writing code and building files like this... but it does work.
the flashing doesn't really show up on a PC either, which is nice.

Satellite P500 (PSPE8A-01R002) - Number pad and num lock not working

After upgrading to Windows 7 the number pad and num lock on my P500 PSPE8A-01R002 is not working.
Any help will be appreciated.

Since keys worked in vista then its reasonable to assume there is something in the "software". I doubt that windows can make changes to the bios though there is Toshiba HWsetup but that does't look to do anything relevant.
I don't know what conclusions could be drawn from the results of trying an external keyboard.
How about trying various boot sequences such as direct to the command prompt and direct to safe mode to pin down it the problem is specific to your W7 installation? - why not try making a bootable cd (i'd have to google to find out how but you should be able to try windows 98 or even DOS - there was also a run from cd/dvd version of Linux and there's also the new Google os to consider).
Within W7 the only things that affect the keyboard would be settings in control panel > ease of access where the keypad can be set up as a mouse or keys remapped so num lock is "something else" and, clutching at straws, I presume keyboard language settings - are there any languages that require use of a numeric key pad to give a full character set (keyboard set to foreign language and Windows set to "English" so that the foreign character set isn't displayed?

Keyboard, Touch pad and battery are not working.

I cannot turn on my Macbook (10.4.11) without the power adapter connected. The keyboard does not work nor does the touch pad. I've searched the forums for anyone else with this problem, there are similar instances but mostly related to Leopard. I'm having to use an external keyboard and mouse to continue working. Looking for fixes.

The left click will not work to highlight text, copy, paste.   The tap and rt click, window pull down, work fine.
Funny... the story matches all of you.   Wanted to remove/install driver, I suggested we look for issues first or ck the dates of drivers.   Seemed to hose my EXPLORER window and speed.   Then the bios change and I said should we ck the dates/Revs and we moved forward.   No reading of fix, or this has been issue and I asked many times is this a issue.   I also saw this on the store demo unit when I was cking them out. NO REPLY.... wish I looked here first and pushed to talk to tech/svc manager.
Phone help tried to take over my computer and link/web would not work it failed!!
Tech also wanted me to do system restore and I declined.   I replied I have not loaded anything yet, only updated Norton and did a little web searching, windows update, HP update.   I also looked at the pad and button settings ... found nothing I missed.   I called them incase there was odd box/set I missed.   I hate being lied to, they know from I am reading here... two threads so far and 2-3 people on each.    I did not want to restor.... nothing is changed.... do not want to exersise the Hard Drive.   Asked her to research problem and find the fix... rather than just keep changing stuff.   The bios was flashed for the same bios rev.
While doing this work with tech.... the pointer went to top and not moved from top right.   The parts of screen starting to flash, the curser would lock, IExplorer got very slow... to 30 sec to load the internet page vs 2 sec
I also just found..... you can switch the fuctions of rt/left button and still copy paste.   But the left button will not pull down the pull down windows.   What a mess!
You can go to system information and print of your currrent list of soft and hard.   That will tell you what is up todate and what is not.

PSE 11- FX and Graphics buttons not working under Expert Editor Mode

Under 'FX' in Expert Editor mode, the Filters, Styles and Effects tabs do not work, and similarly under "Graphics" the shapes and text tabs do not work. I have looked at C:\Programmes\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\Plug-Ins\Panels and find the 'Panels' folder is empty, which suggests this is a possible cause?? EDitor and Organiser are otherwise (at long last after Organiser faults rectified) now working fine. PSE 11 is running under Windows XP Service Pack 3. Any suggestions please ??

Thank you Jon; I see what you mean about creating an FX layer and by double clicking I can bring up the adjustments. Problem is when I go into Expert Editor mode, at the bottom right side of screen are five 'buttons' - Layers, Effects, Graphics, Favourites and More. When I click Layers, I get the Layers Pane up on right hand side and it works fine as I can create different layers etc, however when I press 'FX' I bring up a plain grey panel with three headings at the top of it; Filters, Styles and Effects - these do absolutely nothing, even if I am working on an FX layer and I am guessing something has gone missing or been corrupted.
The 'Graphics' button now works (I told it to search Windows>Graphics, which I read in another post)

Satellite P750 - touch pad and internet connection not working

At first check what is the status of all hardware components (WLAN, LAN and touchpad) in device manager. Be sure all components are installed properly.

It is not easy to say what is wrong with touchpad. Be sure the touchpad is enabled properly.

Track pad and button click not working

I have a Macbook pro from 2008, the 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4gigs ram. Recently my computer's track pad mouse stopped clicking and the tap to click function isnt working either. I can move the mouse with the trackpad and the scroll/zoom functions still work. Every once in a while the click will register, but the unclick will never happen, i.e. I will be highlighting everything on a page and wont be able to unhighlight unless i have the external mouse. When I scroll over the x - + of a window nothing shows up. I used a usb mouse and that worked fine, and shows the x - +. Anyone having this problem or have a solution for this problem?

One thing to check is the battery--there have been instances of the battery swelling and becoming deformed and exerting pressure on the trackpad from below. If this is the case, stop using the battery immediately before it does permanent damage.
Apple used to have a recall on some of these batteries, but unfortunately no more. If you have access to an Apple Store, take it in and show it to the genius bar. No guarantees, but sometimes if someone feels this should have not happened, you might be able to get a free replacement.

Hello, I upgraded my laptop from Snow Leopard to lion, unfortunately I have a 2 music programs that no longer work. one is called the Music PadPro, which is now gone bankrupt, can anyone help?. I was talking to the Apple Store earlier and they said if I upgrade to the mountain lion it may help but I'm not so sure,

There's no reason that upgrading from Lion to Mountain Lion would make this application work. I've looked up Music PadPro. I don't know much about it, but it looks pretty old. Here are the requirements:
Macintosh G4 or higher processor running Mac OS X Version 10.2.6 (minimum),
Mac OS X Version 10.3.2 (recommended), or Mac OS X Version 10.4.2.
Looking at that, I would guess that the application would require a PowerPC processor. After the release of the Intel machines back in 2006, Apple included something called Rosetta within OS X. This allowed programs developed for the older architecture (PowerPC) to run on the newer Intel machines. The reason for this was to give developers some time to upgrade their applications to run natively on Intel processors. It was only with the introduction of Lion that Apple pulled Rosetta from their OS. They had basically given developers about five years to upgrade their applications. Unfortunately, in your case, the developer went belly up. You can always install an older version of the OS on either a separate partition or an external drive and you can run your program from there.

iOS devices cannot play every format that can be played on other devices. You can convert unsupported formats to a supported format for import to your iOS device.
