Your paymet method is invalid

HI all when I try to buy an app " your paymenet method is not valid in this store. Please enter a new payment method." this is a message. But past two years I'm using same ID and and visa card.

Hi
1) Check the db file on $FND_TOP/secure.
2) Check for the GUEST password on DBC file and on the DB.
3) Load fndsec.jar
a) Go to $ORACLE_HOME of 8.1.7 DB
b) Go to bin directory . Now you will be on $ORACLE_HOME/bin
c) loadjava -user apps/apps -r -v -f $FND_TOP/java/jar/fndsec.jar
(Give the full path of FND_TOP)
4) Now start the Application and check for the Application login

Whenever I wan't to download an app either it is for money or free or even when I want to update an app that I have already downloaded a message saying "sign in required" I put my password again and the a message appears "there was a problem with the previous purchase,please update your payment information" I update the information and I am sure that the credit card is all good and filled,and I enter the information right even though the only bar empty was the Security code,anyway when I finish everything I tap done,but then it tells me "Payment method declined.Please change your payment method",I did everything,log out log in,waiting,trying over and over,but it didn't work,this problem happened a long time ago but unlikely it was fixed two days later,now I am facing this problem and I don't know how to fix it.I have seen lots of other threads that discuss this problem,but my problem is that I live in Jordan-Middle East,which is a problem because as one said was the solution is to change the credit to "none" and then return it back,I can't do that,because for some reason there is no "none" option in the page displayed,and for the other one who said to enter from store.apple.com and enter the billing information again,that won't work for me either because I can't find except "apple.com/us" >:(, I can't log in to my account in jordan while there's nothing but us app store on PC.
    For god's sake someone help me out,I am really ****** off of this,I can't find a way to even send an email to apple .. can anybody help? it will be appreciated a lot.. I want help fast,I can't change my account because I have already bought a lot of apps (with money) and I can't just let the money worth go away :/
    If anyone can help (not discuss and complain and tell me sorry) it will be very awesome,because I have no much more to do about this and now I am trying to reach for help

    We are users like you. There is nothing we can do about the credit card. Call the credit card company and ask them why the purchases have been decined. They will know for sure and will be able to tell you. Wait, it is not your credit card. Who ever is the account holder will need to call the credit card company.

    I've been trying to download an app for about two hours now. I recently got a new Macbook and iPad, my iPhone is a bit older and has been used frequently. I have only bought paid apps with my iPhone (and other iPad -- not usable currently). I have been trying to download a game which is $4.99 on my account, I have tried with my Mac, iPad, and iPhone, no luck. Every time I get a error saying "Your payment method was declined. Please enter another payment method". I know for a fact I have more than enough money to pay for this app. All the details have been checked and checked again. What is the problem?
    I also get an error when first buying the game (or attemting to) and it says something along the lines of "You've recently used a new device or computer to access this apple id, please sign in to confirm your purchase". That then leads to my confirmation of my security code on my card, which is triggering the first mentioned error.
    Apple Support has not yet given me a response, can any of you help?

    I think that for some international copyright issue, Apple is now blocking purchases from your store if they detect that your IP is outside the frontiers. I've been using my Canadian Visa Card for two years to purchase from France on ITune Store Canada and I never had a problem until today. Impossible to buy RunKeeper Pro. I get the same message you get. The only option seems to swithch back to IStore France and modify the account details with a french address and a french credit card.
    Are you in a similar situation?

  • "Your payment method has expired" error message on a new card.

    Hey all, my debit card recently expired and so I wanted to update the details to my new one. Initially just changing the numbers and expiry date over just gave me the same "Your payment method has expired. Please enter valid payment method information." message. I erased all the card information so no card was tied to the account then tried to add my new debit card - However I am still getting this same message even though it clearly hasn't expired since the card is valid until 2015.
    Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

    I don't think that debit cards are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined. You could try contacting iTunes support and see if they can help, but I don't think you will be able to use a debit card : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    Are iTunes gift cards available in your country ? They are not available in all, and they are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), but if there you could possibly use them as your payment method.

    Try removing said card then re-enter all card details, if still no joy then try a different card to see if it is the card or a problem with your iTunes account, one other thing that you could try is changing your iTunes password as this sometimes cure thing as well.
    Also have a look at your purchase history to see if you have any items that are still waiting for payment as this can sometimes screw up your payment method, if this is the case then I would defiantly try a different card.
    If none of the above work then I would contact iTunes support.

    What are you trying to use as your payment method, credit card, debit card ... ? If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method in all countries - from this page :

    For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are.     We are using 12.1.3 . We entered data for creating invoices via Payables > Invoice > Entry > Expense Reports. After submitted Expense Report Export with source - Payables Expense Reports no invoices was created. We can see in Expenses: Export Results/JSP/ the error : Payment Method is invalid. Any idea how to debug this? We have already payment methods defined and their statuses are 'Active'.
