Youtube 3d support

I have a Samsung A850 fifty inch projection hdtv 60 hz, which supports youtube 3d using Firefox on windows 7, using an Nvdia HDMI video card, and shutter glasses.. There is a new tablet, Momo5, which supports 2160p output to a 3d tv. Can you explain the difference how 2160p outputs 3d to a 3d T.V., does it work with nvidia shutter technology, or only red/blue 3d glasses... And does Firefox for Android support youtube 3d (or vice-versa).

You'll need to talk to YouTube about their API. You should be able to talk to a rest API even if they don't provide a dedicated API for Windows

    hi
thanks so much for your reply!
do you know of a jquery fancybox that is a little bit closer to clearbox3, one with preview thumbnails at the bottom of the slideshow image?
this is probably a funny question, but is there also such a jquery image gallery that is free for commercial use? is there such a thing as free for commercial use? anyone know
    thanks for the help

  • Problems with YouTube on my MacBook Pro

Last couple of months or so I keep getting the error message on YouTube when I try to view a video, "We're sorry, this video is no longer available". If I click on, "watch in standard quality", it works fine. Doesn't matter what browser I use. I don't run into this problem on my wife's eMac. I've searched YouTube's support area and found one mention of this, but claimed it was fixed. In reading the user discussion groups, it's obvious it hasn't been fixed (at least for a bunch of people). Didn't see any mention specially for Mac. Any idea what's going on? Anything I can do on my end to solve it?
    Thanks, Larry

Bingo, that was the problem. Can't believe I didn't have the latest Adobe Flash Player already installed. I, more often than not, do updates as soon as they're out (and sometimes that gets me in trouble.) Thanks for your help.

  • How to upload to Youtube a slideshow made with Keynote: it has separate video

I made my 1st slideshow with Keynote tonight, but when I exported it, or converted to a video, it was in 2 pieces!  A video and a audio file.  I wanted to upload it to Youtube, and I don't know how to do it.  Youtube has a "Video Editor" but I couldn't get it to work.  I wish Keynote would export like iPhoto and produce a video that has the sound included (but iPhoto isn't so good for including text).  Do I have to put Keynote slideshows into iMovie to add sound?

    Hey blckhed,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. You can easily get your slideshow to YouTube. The following article will assist you in the process.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Most of YouTube videos support HTML5, so activate HTML5 > http://www.youtube.com/html5
If after turning on HTML5 you can't watch videos, download Flash > http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer Then, close Safari, install Flash and restart the MacBook Pro. Finally, try to watch a video in YouTube

  • Why does YouTube on Firefox offer so few quality options even if the video can be viewed in higher quality on Chrome or when it is embeded?

I've noticed that YouTube only offers three quality options for some videos when viewed on the video's page (240p, 360p, and 720p) even while the offered video elsewhere is significantly higher. One example of this is the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvY5irWC7kA (/u/aygoman of /r/Oman); when viewed in Chrome or when embedded in a page (such as through the RES addon), the video options are more verbose: 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p, 2160p.
While I do not typically view above 720p, sometimes I would like the option to view a video in either 1080p or 480p and cannot for some unknown reason.

Are you using the YouTube HTML5 media player or the Flash player?

  • YouTube requires me to press "back" button twice to return to a previous page

    Hi!
FF consistently and across OSes(I use several, mostly Linux distros) fails to simply go back tot he prior page when I press the browser's "back" button. It's done this for months. Completely resetting FF doesn't work, nor does clearing the cache and restarting it manually.
This is a very irritating problem, especially since I prefer FF so strongly over any other browser and don't want to have to hit back twice every time I want to return to a play list/etc. To clarify, it simply reloads the page/video I'm currently on, then finally does what I want it to after 2 clicks of the "back" button. For someone that needs YouTube for work purposes as well as for the sake of a great many tutorials, this needs resolution ASAP.
Thanks in advance for any help! I feel I've probably isolated the issue enough that it's very unlikely to be a problem with my OS or malware.
What's the most likely culprit here?
I should also mention that this happens not only across OSes, but on both a Lenovo G770 laptop and a AMD FX-8350 16GB RAM desktop PC I built very recently.

Please also see youtube's support. However if there is an issue with the back button for a specific site, please check the cookie settings for the site.

  • Windows 98 OS, Flash 9.0.277.0 consistently crashes or hangs on YouTube with Firefox 2.0.0.20

I had given up on getting Flash 9 to work on YouTube, but I thought I'd make this post to see if anyone has any ideas.  I have Windows 98 operating system -- so Flash 9 is as high as I can go.  Flash 9.0.277.0 -- the most recent version -- consistently crashes or hangs on sites with Flash content using Firefox 2.0.0.20 (the highest Firefox version I can have for my OS) or Opera 10.10.  (Every earlier Flash 9 version I tried also crashed.)  The site I really want Flash 9 to work on is YouTube, but EVERY time I  do an artist search and click on a link my computer hangs or crashes with an error message concerning NPSWF32.dll, the Flash plugin.  Is it a lost cause to get Flash 9 to work on YouTube?  I hope someone has an answer.  Thank you very much.

    Hello, Pat.
You say, "It is also possible that this is mere  speculation."
Indeed, it is possible that it is  "mere speculation".
I said that I was basing my comments on poster #  3's comments.  What I tried to do was to rephrase it a little  to show my understanding of the factors contributing to a possible  (NS_type_browser)/YouTube/(FP_9_version) conflict that could lead to the  NPSWF32.dll error or a computer crash or hang.
To be more general,  "(NS_type_browser)/YouTube/(FP_9_version) conflict" should be replaced with  "(NS_type_browser)/(Internet_web_site)/(FP_9_version) conflict", since FP 9  versions newer than 9r_47 exhibit unpredictable behavior.  That  is, these FP 9 versions will crash on some sites (or videos), whereas on other  sites (or videos) these FP 9 versions will work fine.
I thought with your expertise,  that you could clear up any "mere speculation" or  misunderstanding that I might have.
But, evidently, this was not the case.
You say, "I would say, if FP8 on FF2 works for  you, why not just leave it at that?"
As you know -- or, at least, I hope you know --  different websites support different minimum Flash Player  versions.  That is, on a given website, FP 9 might work fine,  but FP 8 might not work at all -- and, in this case, you would  get a message saying you needed a later version of FP to watch the Flash  content.  (This message is stated differently on different sites, but it is  basically equivalent to what I've just said.)
why not just leave it at  that?
YouTube now supports both FP 8 and FP 9, but at  some point in the future I'm sure they will  discontinue support for FP 8.  If I didn't have a working FP 9, I'd be  SOL on YouTube !
As I explained, in the  present day, I can watch much,  much more Flash content while browsing the web with FP 9 with than with  FP 8.  Also, FP 9 gives a better picture than FP 8.
I'd guess the reason that you were not even aware  of this -- based on your question -- is that you are not limited by your OS and  hardware like I am.
I hope this answers your question, Pat.
Like I said, I'll give you a "helpful answer" -- 5  points -- just for responding to me here.
    Thank you.

  • After Effects to YouTube (HD)

I have a project I just completed in After Effects (1080i).
I want to put it up on youtube in HD format but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out which format works best.
Here are the formats that youtube suggests:
    http://help.youtube.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=132460&topic=16612&hl=en-US
I'm working with Windows XP and I'm using After Effects CS3.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should render my project to, so that I can upload it and have it look great on youtube (in HD on youtube as well)...
    Thanks!
    FOO

The playback settings are determined automatically depending on the connection speed and availability of proxies. You have no influence on that, except for advising your potential viewers to manually hack in a higher setting (which may result in blank players because no such quality is available). If you will, it can still look like **** even if you upload a perfect quality clip because the management back end decides your connection is too slow and delivers a low-bandwidth version first. Another factor is the popularity of your clips. If it is only called up once or twice a month, it will most likely never get the high quality treatment... Anyway, exporting a normal H.264 clip from AE should prove sufficient as should QT's flavor of H.264. Both tools obey the standard requirements for such content. And if you are really after quality, Vimeo is a much better place....

  • Youtube resolution

    Hi,
Is there any way to reduce the video qulaity of the youtube app on wifi? The proble m I have is that my little boy loves looking at youtube clips of disney cars and after 19:00 some streams become very slow and jittery. I have a decent 30mb broadband connection and I can prove using my laptop that selecting a lower qulaity video on youtube resolves the problem.
My boy is 3 so it is difficult to explain the problem to him and he likes the native app over the mobile youtube site.

    Should help....

  • Why is is that when I upload video's to youtube it changes the size of the picture

Recently I began taking video's with my Iphone and then uploading to Youtube from Picasa....which worked fine. Now that I have began editing the clips and making longer clips with iMovie I am having issues. At first the quality was being diminished from HD, now the video size is smaller once I upload it to Youtube. Is there something that im doing wrong? Or is this the largest size iMovie will allow.
My vid's from my Iphone maintain the proper size and I dont see where I can change the quality/size in the setting. Please help. An example would be:
