Zip file error in Adobe Proto toch

Hi there
Just started to use Adobe touch Proto for my android tablet(samsung galaxy note 10.1 android ver 4) Today I have made a new prototype for my web site and download it to adobe creative cloud to get a zip with html files. But zip file always get error after downloading. I cant open it in 7zip and winzip and winrar software. Please help.

I am able to sync a file from Proto on my Motorola Xoom tablet and then download it on Windows 7 using the IE9 browser using the Creative Cloud website. The zip file opens using 7zip.
Please email me at [email protected] and share the file using the website. I will investigate the issue.

  • Documentation ZIP file error

Everytime I try to unzip the documentation for the adobe SDK I get and error saying the zip file is corrupt or invalid, I have tried 5 different times to download and unzip. Any ideas?

I just downloaded and unzipped it to test. Worked fine first try.

  • Unable to unarchive ZIP file Error - 1

Every time I try to archive a ZIP file, i get the message "Unable to archive (Error - 1)" How can I fix this?

I have to agree, the most likely scenario is a bad file. As I mentioned earlier, I don't think there are any Mac utilities for attempting a repair. "Repair" is somewhat vague. If a file is bad it is missing data, and likely this data is critical to the running of the file. If you could repair this file (say, on a PC) you still might end up with a corrupt movie file which might refuse to play. Even if the movie plays it might end early or something.
Could this possibly be part of a multi-part archive set? The file extension is totally wrong for that but the "05" suggest more than one of something.
I have also read there are some obscure utilities that do flavors of zip that can't be opened on Macs.

  • Invalid Zip file error after downloading Solaris 8

Every time i download the solaris 8 binaries i keep getting the error "Cannot open file - It does not appear to be a valid archive" when trying to unzip the files using winzip 8. Also the files take very long to download as they are 300MB approx... but after all this time it says the files are only a few MB's in size! Can anyone shed some light as to what is happening here???
    Thanks

I was getting a similar, if not the same, problem when I used IE 5.5 to download the file. It used to start extracting then stop about 75% of the way through and dump some error about the archive being corrupt and not being able to open it. After installing Netscape and disabling the download manager application, I was able to download and extrac the zip files with winzip 8 and also winrar without any problems.

  • Why can't i open an adobe file emailed as a zip file

My bank emailed me an important adobe file as a zip and I keep getting an error message not an adobe format or not encoded properly.  How do I open the zip file?

    Hi ferretlady,
As you mentioned that you have zip file that contains Adobe files, you need to unzip the file first and then you will be able to open the Adobe files. For information on how to unzip, please refer to the links below:

  • Zip files in AdobePatchFiles folder

I have 2 GB of zip files in Applications/Adobe/AdobePatchFiles generated by Creative Cloud (Mac OSX 10.9.2). Can I delete them?

you need those files for future patches.
in general, before deleting files you're not certain you can delete, rename them. (i like to prefix the file name with a dollar sign, $.  that moves the file to the top of the directory listings and makes it easy to rename back to the original if there's a problem.)

  • Reader 9.0 on Vista associates itself with my .zip files ?!?!

System: a Brand NEW (as in 3 days old) Vista machine (3 gig, dual core).
When I install Adobe Reader, the first time, my .zip files are okay - I can use the built-in uncompress feature to open them. If I shut down and come back the next day, Reader is now associated with my .zip files so I can't open them. The only way is to uninstall reader. I don't want to have to keep uninstalling/reinstalling each time I need to either open a .zip file (which I do frequently) or read a .pdf file.
I don't know what microsoft program to associate them with so I can unassociate the .zip files with Reader and use the built in uncompress command to open the .zip files. (I did find where to set file associations in Vista.)
    Can someone here help me?
    Thanks,
    Trish

    Okay,
    I found a "fix".
To help others - there is a registry fix you can run - see this page:
    http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/105/1/File-association-fixes-for-Windows-Vista.html
Follow the instructions on that page, and it does seem to fix it.
Just note, the icon associated with the zip file may remain Adobe Reader, but if you right click, "Extract All" *will* show up on the list. (Extract All was *not* on the list when I booted up.)
Vista is giving me a headache!

  • How can I download Adobe Proto files as a zip?

    Hi.
I was wondering why I can only download Adobe Proto files as file type "Proto/.pro" I read that it would be possible to download a zip of the original via Creative Cloud giving me the css, jquery etc. of the wireframe.
It would be great if someone could help me out and let me know how it's done as I have no use for ".pro" files..
    kind regards

  • I am receiving an error message that my Adobe Captivate zip file is not a valid SCORM, AICC or IMS Content Package. What am I doing wrong?

I am receiving an error message that my Adobe Captivate zip file is not a valid SCORM, AICC or IMS Content Package. This zip file has been published identically to my previous zip files. What am I doing wrong?

First, go back into the CPTX source file and check that LMS reporting is indeed turned on and that it is set to SCORM etc.
If that is OK.  Republish and use the Zip option in the Captivate Publish dialog settings to zip the file.  Don't zip it yourself.
If your LMS still rejects this zip file, upload to SCORM Cloud and see if it rejects it too.

  • Zip files and Adobe Acrobat files

    Hello all,
I have a couple of kinda distinct questions that I wanted to ask. I hope I've chosen the right sub-forum to post them in. My questions are
    1) when I try to unzip a .zip file in my Documents folder I get the following error message
"Archive Utility - unable to unarchive "CdnEnergy.zip" into "Documents". (Error 1 - Operation not permitted.)"
ditto if I move it to the Desktop and try there. This doesn't seem to be a 'space' problem as my computer is very new and I haven't loaded it up with lots of stuff. I have unzipped this file before (admittedly not on a Mac).
    2) How can I set Adobe Acrobat to be the default application for .pdf files so that when I click on a pdf file it's opened by Adobe Reader rather than the Mac Viewer? I know I can select Adobe with a Ctrl+click, but can I set it so that it's always the default?
Thanks very much for your help,
    Eoghan

    Welcome to the Discussions!
The first problem is not obvious, but I would suggest using Disk Utility to repair permissions. Also, you could download the free Stuffit Expander to have an alternate unzip program.
The second problem is easy. In the Finder, select a pdf file and then select File->Get Info. In the window that appears, select the Acrobat as the Open With application and select the option to always use this application.

it is not weird, it is a bug in the application. Don't let the upgrade from Java 5 to Java 6 make you believe otherwise. It's a singularly bad exception message though. I would have thought that something from java.util might be a bit more explicit about what the problem is.
