Zoom following use of back button on Android

Hi,
On Android Firefox, say I an on a web page and either zoom in using double tap or pinch and then click a link on the page. Firefox displays the page. All good.
If I then use the back button to return to the previous page, Firefox will not display the page as it was previosly zoomed in. It requires me to either zoom in again by double tap or pinch.
Is the a setting or add-on that will preserve the zoomed in state after returning to a previous page using the back button?

Dito- in the past "the browser resets the zoom and scroll positions when navigating to a new page, and this can happen while the old page is still visible. The old page does not actually reload; it just scrolls to the top before the new page loads."

I have tried SO MANY methods to PREVENT the default function of Back button in Android but no success
This is one of the codes I have used with no success:

I am using Flash Cs6 , Air 3.2 for Android , Testing it on LG Google nexus 4.
When I use the flash simulator, it works fine! Means the Back Button, let the App go back to previous step (as I expect it to do)
But after I publish the apk (Aspect ratio: Auto , Auto orientation , Render mode: GPU), as soon as I press BACK, it minimize my app!
(means when i press the Back button on my phone, the App minimize down (not close!). when I re-activate it/click on it, I see the app has actually gone one step BACK (as I programmed and expected), but I just CANT STOP the default action of MINIMIZING/De-activating my app after pressing Back button.
Anyone have any "Fla" file that I can see it in ACTION please?!
Because I have used many-many codes and no success yet

in above code .KEY_UP should be changed to .KEY_DOWN.

View State Animations & the Back button (on Android)

Hello, everyone!
Is it possible to animate between view states when developing for mobile devices (like Android)?
And if so (and the bigger question for me), when you transition from one state to another, can you use the Back button on the Android device to transition back to a previous state?

First and foremost, thank you for your timely response, and for your well-received advice!
After reading the posts from the MAX Beta link your provided, it is my understanding that if you disable the default back button handling, that the button itself would no longer function in the application.
I still want to use the back button, but I want to add the back button's popView function to states as well as Views.
If I missed anything, please let me know.

PS-I don't know if this makes a huge difference, but I'm using the latest pre-released version of Flash Builder 4.5 with AIR 2.6 (released 2 weeks ago).

Only in Firefox, a button on my web page is disabled after going to a page, then back using the back button.

I have a web application that contains a physicians search page:

I do the following:
Select "find a physician"
Type "Smith"
Press "search"
Select Smith entry
Press "back" on browser
"search" button is now disabled
Only happens when you get back using the Back button.
This doesn't happen in I.E. or Chrome.
I see the issue in Firefox 3.6.13, 4.0 and 4.01.
OS: Windows XP, Windows 7 and Mac.

I would suspect a slightly incompatible addon of causing that to happen.
Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? ''A troubleshooting mode.'' 
You can open the Firefox 4.0 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut. Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running.

Need to select link twice when using Browser back button

I see that my command_link works fine in normal scenarios.
But when I come to that page using browser back button and then select the link within the page.... the first time, looks like its regenerating the page and only when I select the link second time it is calling the action listener associated with the link.
Any clue as to how to fix this problem?

How to use a back button in action pages?

Hi all,
I have created a user login page,home page and user profile page.
If the user provide correct username and password in the login page he will be taken to home page.
In the home page he will be having his username and a link to view his profile.
When the user click on the link "My Profile(user profile)" he wil be taken to that page.
In my profile page the user can edit only his firstname,lastname and password .
On the user profile page i have placed a Back Button(using javascript: on onclick event i have used history.back()) to go back to home page after editing his profile.
If the user edit his profile for n-number of times then atlast if he wants to go back to home page-then he wil cilck the back button.
Now the problem occurs like the back button not going to home page and it simply going back with the edited history.
How to use a back button in action pages; without repeating the actions done on the page; how to redirect to the users home page?
I simply used the hyperlink in userprofile page to go to home page but when i click onit it is displaying blank home page.
I'm using hibernate orm mapping; cflogin and cflogout tags.
Any help appreciated,

Private Window allows previously visited pages to be seen using the Back button.

Private windows seem to be less private than non-Private windows:-
1) In a Private Window the Back button allows previously visited pages to be determined.
2) In a non-Private window Clear History removes previously visited pages (so that they aren't accessible using the Back button).
3) Clear History (Ctrl-Shift-Delete) isn't available in Private windows.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Firefox will not load pages when I use my back button

It is just doing this on the one site

Does this happen when you are both logged in and out of the website? I have tried accessing the website myself and I am able to access the site and use the back button on this site without logging into the site. If this only happens when you log into the site most likely it has to do with the login session that causing this problem.

Cannot use my back button on one site can click on pages

When I load the main page it comes right up and if I click on sub pages they display but if I try to use the back button to go back they will not load. I have cleared cache and it does not help.

You can move on to Firefox if you wish, but you will still have an underlying problem with your OSX install if Safari is not working for you as it does for most everybody else.

Safari why can I not use the back button

Hi;
Ever since I upgraded tp Mountain Lion I cannot use the back button to return to an previous website.
It seems I can only use the back button if I am going back within the current web site.
In other words:
I am in website A and go to a website B (home Page) and in website B I open another page, when I hit the back button it will go back to the home page of website B BUT then the back button is gray and no longer allows to to go back to the website A.
Yes, there are tabs that have web pages but they are shortened.

I recently downloaded Mozilla. I like it but the only thing that I cannot do is use the back button. It won't let me use it. The color that highlights the back button is dimmed. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
