Anchor point tool doesn't work properly

When I use the anchor point tool and want to adjust a path line, Adobe Flash often doesn't react until the 2nd or 3nt try. Does anyone know a solution for this? I use Adobe Flash CS6.

This bug made its way into flash CC as well. Not exacly sure how to reproduce it, but the anchor point/point relocation preview doesnt work on shapes/lines when you try to pull or move them.
The buged lines were created at 0.1 thickness and didnt work outright. A line created with 1.0 thickness worked as expected.
My guess its in thickness + hiearchy (groups/objects) related?

This code works properly in IE7 but in Firefox I have
discovered that the images are loaded after than the swf. This swf
file needs some parameters to work with the images, but if the
images are not loaded previously then the swf does not work
properly. In firefox, a page refresh is needed if the images are
not yet loaded in the cache.
I have resolved the problem partially preloading the images
in the previous page link using:
<img src="imagebig.jpg" style="display:none;" alt=""
width="781" height="1051"/>
With this solution, the images are loaded prior to the swf
loading.
I think that a better solution would exist.

Blur Tool doesn't work properly in Photoshop CS6

I like digital painting and just got a new Wacom Intuos. I wanted to finish a picture in PS C6 but everytime I use the blur tool it makes some weird edges, which it didn't make before!
How can I fix it?

FR 9.3.1 - Show point values doesn't work properly

I'm experiencing a strange trouble with the show point values function in charts like Bar, Line or Combo Chart types.
The values diplayed are rounded to the nearest value, even if the grid show decimal values.
I didn't find any solution to this, maybe anyone knows how to fix it?

There is a work around, note that this is not supported/approved by Oracle as it involves actually changing the report xml. So at your own risk:

How do I fix my Pen Tool/Delete Anchor Point Tool in Illustrator?

Problem One - I'm trying to change the form of my shape, and all of a sudden my Delete Anchor Point Tool isn't working. I'm clicking (and zoomed in A LOT) and it's not clicking on or deleting any of my anchor points.
Problem Two - I'm not sure if it's just the slow speed of my work computer, but I'm trying to trace a shape in a photo that I have locked in the background, and when I click my pen tool it makes the point like 2 to 5 pixels away from where I'm clicking, so I can't precisely trace the shape that I would like to.
Any tips and help on this ASAP would be great! Getting stuck like this is throwing off my productivity and it's very frustrating!

The problem was Google Chrome browser! As soon as I quit Chrome my pen tool started working again. I didn't even need to restart Fireworks. I wonder if it is a conflict with one of my plugins/add ons. Most likely.
UPDATE - I did narrow it down to one specific Google Chrome extension. It was "Google Play Music"

I understand. I was very unhappy with Adobe when my PSE 11 stoped working properly. I had it for only about 6-7months before I updated my software on my imac and it all went downhill.... Then to add to that my Adobe account was hacked. Adobe never informed me of this situation. I heard through a friend that I should check to see if I was one of the very many who's online accounts were tampered with. I had to reset every single password and username for nearly 30 online accounts to avoid any further tampering with the hackers. And all Adobe suggested was for me to pay for an upgrade to PSE 12 which I did but wasnt very impressed to say the least ( i was on an online chat with them for over 2hours trying to get my PSE 11 issues solved to no avail). Then this sluggish performance starts happening again using the new version PSE 12?. I'm going to stay clear of adobe if I have the option to purchase similiar software from another supplier. I would and will encourage anyone else who has problems with there software to do the same. Older versions should work perfectly fine for ages. I wonder If Adobe is trying to get us all to pay for the monthly subscription option(s) to avoid having issues with older versions of their software. As the subscription option keeps you ontop of all the latest versions... I wouldn't put it past them.

I dug out my old m105, put new batteries in and start it. On first launch it auto runs the alignment tool, and after touching all the points it goes to the main screen and works fine. No problem till here.
Now, I plug it into my old computer which still has the palm software with my apps, and I run the sync operation (from the palm device sync manager, cause I lost my cradle and I'm connected via the serial cable), and it syncs fine BUT, here comes the problem, when it finishes the sync (successfully) the touch screen is all misaligned. I can't go back to the home screen or do anything useful.

New feature: pressing alt while using the anchor point tool

Hello,
New feature doesn't work at my side ==> pressing alt while using the anchor point tool would allow to pair the handles again while dragging a handle. But if i press alt or if i do not press it, it does not change the working of my anchor point tool or handles. When i press alt i see the little sign apearing next to my cursor and that's all. Someone an idea what could be the problem?

To get your CD or DVD drive working correctly, try these suggestions in the order listed.
Reinstall the Driver
Hold the Windows key and press the 'x' key to open a menu in the lower-left. In this menu, select "Device Manager." Expand "DVD/CD-ROM drives." Right-click the entry for the CD/DVD drive nested under "DVD/CD-ROM drives," then select "Uninstall." Finally, restart the computer. The computer will reinstall the drivers for the drive.
Power Cycle
Even when your laptop is off and unplugged, residual power can still be held in some components. While this is normal, clearing it can help with some hardware problems. Perform these steps to complete what’s called a power cycle.
Ensure the laptop is turned off.
Unplug the laptop's AC power cable.
Unplug all wires and peripherals. This includes CDs, DVDs, USB sticks, mice, printers, and any other accessories.
Remove the battery (if the model has a removable battery). If the model does not have a removable battery, check your user's guide to determine if you have a pinhole reset on the bottom. If you do, press this.
Hold down the power button for thirty seconds.
Reattach the battery if removed.
Connect the AC adaptor to the power socket that was confirmed to be working in the first step.
Connect the other end of the AC adaptor to your computer.
Start the computer and test the drive

System Restore
Try using System Restore to restore to the most restore point from before the problem arose.

System Recovery

The cable doesn't work properly when connected as data cable.

I have recently encountered problem of the cable. The thing is that if i use it just for charging with the plug, it works fine. But when i wanna use it with computer (i.e., accessing itunes, etc) or with my car, it doesn't work properly, it keeps switching between charging and discharging very fast. Just for all the people to know, I found out the solution. You have to mark the correct side of the charging cable which connects at inlet of the phone. Because this point acts as a chip when used as data cable or auxiliary use (car,etc). That's why it charges with the plug on any side. I don't know what's the frequency of it happening to iphone 5s users, because I bought it recently (iOS 7.1.1) Hope it helps to others in future.

I imported videos from photo into iMovie when I set up iMovie (obvious mistake) and now iMovie doesn't work properly, nor can I move specific videos into a folder where I want them. How do I fix this?

I even tried deleting iMovie, bought a new copy and installed it, but the folder "iPhoto Videos" is still there and I can't get new clips loaded to iMovie, especially where I want them. Please help.

The iPhoto Videos do occasionally have problems. I've seen a lot of people write messages to this Discussion group describing similar problems. The only thing that seems to get around this problem is to pull the video clips out of iPhoto then import them directly into iMovie. Once the troubles with iPhoto Videos starts, I haven't yet seen anyone write back with something that they did to fix it.
The most difficult part of doing this is the movies in iPhoto might be a little difficult to track down. But you can create a smart alum that does that for you. Go to iPhoto > File Menu > New Smart Album:
Set the first pulldown menu to keyword, second to contains, then in the last box type Movie with a capital 'M'. Then click OK. This smart album more or less does as search of the whole iPhoto Library and only displays items that match your search tearm of "Movie" exactly. In that smart album then you can find the original Movies you want to move out of iPhoto and into iMovie, <CTRL> click on the Movie clip, then choose Reveal in Finder. That will jump you out of iPhoto temporarily and into the iPhoto Library folder. From there you can move that movie file to the desktop. Move all the clips you want, once they're all collected up go to iMovie and go to the File Menu > Import Files. Then point it to the desktop where you moved your video clips.
This will put all those videos into an Event folder in iMovie and bypass iPhoto Videos altogether.

Eyedropper tool doesn't work in Index Mode

When I am in Index mode, and I bring up the color table, the eyedropper tool doesn't work unless I right-click and choose one of the point sample averages. And even then, it doesn't always work unless I hit some combination of Shift-control-option-command. I'm still not sure what the combination is since it seems to differ a little depending on Photoshop's mood.
I can remember there was this problem a couple of versions back, and Adobe fixed it after about a year or so.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks for the temporary solution. The is the same bug was in CS3 then fixed ic CS4. Now it's back in CS5.
I've only had this bug with Macs not PCs. "YES IT'S A BUG!" Question: Is there anybody from Adobe who reads this? Can someone at adobe please tell us when this Mac bug will be fixed? For a premium product at such a price, Photoshop shouldn't have a bug like this. Adobe should be more responsive! Think of the difficulty people like me who write textbooks must have. Selecting with colour range doesn't work properly

Well, at least to me it doesn't work properly. If I have elements on seperate levels and I use the colour range option to select the area, it works on all the levels, not just the level I have selected. That's not what I want! I only want it to select the colour range on that one level. The work around is to manually turn off other levels, but on a file with lots of levels, that can be tedious. Can this be avoided? Incidentally, magic wand works only on the selected level, but not colour range (or color range, if you are American).

Aha! You are correct. Layers above the target layer are still being sampled when sampling is at "Current Layer".
That has to be a bug. The Eye Dropper Tool itself does work correctly, though.
I'm about to report another problem, so I'll report this one, too.
Edit: Looking again, I don't think there is a bug.
It seems to not be that the higher layer is seen when sampling "Current Layer", which is correct and the same as when the Eye Dropper Tool itself is use. However, the pixels of the visible composite are then evaluated to determine the regions to be selected. I guess that's correct behaviour and you will have to do the Alt-click on eye trick to completely ignore all other layers.

Lightroom 5.2 radial filter tool doesn't work

I recently purchased Lightroom 5.2 and the radial filter tool doesn't work. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for this problem. Is there any way to get technical support from Adobe or is this a ridiculous question?

I believe the problem lies with me not knowing how to use the radial filter tool and not the software in this instance. As I mentioned, I just purchased Lightroom software and I'm in the process of learning. Last night, my first instance of a software glitch was with the slideshow view not working. I get a black screen; however, this is the subject for another post. Subsequently, I was struggling with the radial filter and, initially, I thought this was another glitch; which it is not. When I went to the Adobe website looking for technical support, I could not find any place where I could call or send an email for tech support to get a question answered. Instead, Adobe directs customers to this forum where kind people, such as yourself, are willing to help others. At this point, I was very exasperated. Again, I sincerely apologize and thank you very much for being willing to help. Best regards.

My Safari doesn't work properly after installing Lion. Don't like it, how can I uninstall? (Cloud not worth it)?

Wipe the drive clean and install Snow Leopard from your install disk.
Might be less work fixing Safari. Try Resetting Safari.
