Apple IDI am trying to update my IPAD and it gives me a message when I put my email address in:The apple ID is already being used?? I set my Iphone up yeasterday and I only have one email address and one account how do I use it for all my devices?

I need some help I set my IPhone up yesterday and now I am trying to set up my IPad but I only have one Itunes account and one email but the IPad error message states "The apple ID is already being used" I dont know how to get passed this and my family and I only have one account and we all have IPhones now I dont want them to update if we cant all use the same account. Please help with ideas!!!

As it stands iTunes cannot be accessed via ATV's and nor can it be streamed via AirPlay from iTunes to the ATV

This usually means you don't have enough storage on your iPad to do the update. Go to Settings > General > About and check how much memory is available. If you have less than 5GB you'll need to either delete data off your iPad, such as apps, photos, music, videos.
OR
Connect your iPad ot your computer and update iOS via iTunes sync.

Try a hard reset: hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.

Hi,
I would put the ipad in recovery mode and redo the update, once that is done you could restore the ipad from your backup and you would not lose any data.

Try putting the iPad in restore mode and see if iTunes recognizes it. The steps are below:
Turn your iPad off.
Hold down the Home button and plug it into your computer. Keep holding the Home button until you see a screen telling you to connect to iTunes.
iTunes should show you a popup saying that there is an iPad that is in Recovery Mode and needs to be restored before you can use it. Click OK.
Click on Restore iPad

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note: Data will be lost

In order to update from an IOS earlier than 5.0, you have to hook it up to the computer you sync with to do so.
Once you have updated, you will see the software update option on your settings. But this feature was not introduced until 5.0...

There was some updayts for my iPad 4 automatically downloaded. After installing it, the iPad began to restart itself every few minutes.
I tryed to update my iPad using iTunes. You have to connect the iPad to your computer to update.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

This is Linda again. The new iPad actually as not restored on my employees computer. I thought it was working. Message said the device is in recovery mode and can not be restored.
