Application Error message takes more time in ECC
Hi All,
I am working soap to proxy synchronous scenario. when call is success i am able to get the response immediately from ECC within 2 to 3s.
when there is any application error in ECC it is taking more time to send back the fault message to SAP PI. more than 1 min(65s).
i tested the same payload in the sproxy in ecc. for application error it gives the fault message within 2s.
but when it comes to end to end testing ECC is taking more time to send the fault message to PI.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion to overcome this issue.
Regards,
Muni
Abap team debugged and found out that there was an issue with RFC in ECC system.
RFC connection was not working. it was causing the flow to wait for 1 mins. Basis fixed the issue to make RFC working. now interface works without connection time out.

Hi people. I need to create a job to cancel automatically the messages with the status 17 (Application error - manual restart possible) in SAP ECC.
In SXI_MONITOR I can retrieve these messages filtering just for "Application Error". I can cancel them here, however I need for a Job to do it.
I appreciate your help.

The error message "No more virtual tiles can be allocated" appears when I try to use the effects in the quick editing mode in my Elements 13. The baton OK has to be pressed several times for loading all effect patterns. The error returns when selecting the particular pattern.
The problem does not appear, if PH Elements 13 is executed in the administrator mode.
The available computer resources are rather large enough: CPU INTEL i7 4 cores, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD + 32GB SSD, Windows 8.1.
Please, advice how to solve this problem? Maybe, there is patch or updating available?Dear n_pane,
Thank you for the quick answer. In the meantime I found other way to pass by the problem. I increased the cache level up to the maximum value 8.
The errors reported as "No more virtual tiles can be allocated" vanish, but I still do not understand, why PSE 13 cannot work properly by the lower cache levels, having available maximum resources it needed (10443 MB RAM and 26.53GB SSD space for scratches), or cannot collaborate with the fast SSDs properly.
I wish you all the best in the New Year 2015! -
How the implementation differs between BW and BI , Is BI takes more time fo
Hi All,
I would like to know difference between implemenation and time lines for MM as mentioned below.
How the implementation differs between BW and BI , Is BI takes more time for implementing MM module than on BW?
Thanks in advanced. (Full points will be awarded)
With Regards,
PCRHi Timo,
Thanks for response!
But as i read from the following url: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15051_01/apirefs.1111/e10653/oracle/jbo/ViewObject.html, the setQueryTimeOut(int timeOutMills), the timeOut is mentioned in milliseconds. Please correct me if I am wrong.
and i have overriden the executeQuery() method in the View Object Impl class as shown below:
public void executeQuery() {
Map sessionScope = ADFContext.getCurrent().getSessionScope();
sessionScope.put("MyQuery", this);
try {
super.executeQuery();
} finally {
sessionScope.remove("MyQuery");
throw new JboException("Query Taking too long to respond");
and in the JAVA class i am calling the above method like this:
monitor.setQueryTimeOut(6);
monitor.executeQuery();
But the issue is:
1. The above exception message is getting carried forward to other pages as well. I mean somewhere in the session/ADFContext this message is being saved and error comes up/pops up when i click on other tabs of the page. How do i clear this?
2. The above exception message is coming for the first time but when i click the 'Submit' button second time, i am getting the results and also the message that 'Query is taking too long to respond'. This should not be the case, everytime it should show the same message as the timeout limit is less and the query should end without fetching the results.
Kindly let me know how to resolve the above issues, any pointers will be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Why Garbage Collection take more time on JRockit?
My company use <br>

and running ejb application.<br>
My problem is why JRockit take more time. How Can I solve this problem. Because my application will down again.
<br>
This is my infomation on JRockit :
<br>
Gc Algorithm: JRockit Garbage Collection System currently running strategy: Single generational, parallel mark, parallel sweep.

<br>Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load) (give request name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
Also see if there is any 'sysfail' for any datapacket in SM37.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. (In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load). See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.(In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load)
5) SM58 and BD87 for pending tRFCs and IDOCS.
Once you identify you can rectify the error.
If all the records are in PSA you can pull it from the PSA to target. Else you may have to pull it again from source infoprovider.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish. You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the data tables.
SM21 - System log can also be helpful.
Also RSA7 will show LUWS which means more than one record.
Thanks,

Save for web - system take more time
Hi, We used adobe photo shop cloud one of our blog for optimized images. We use "save for web" option in photoshop. But its will take more time. What is the reason. How to solve this issue.
A lot more information about your hardware and software is needed.
BOILERPLATE TEXT:
If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand,
such as your platform (Mac or Win),
exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop (not just "CC", but something like CC2014.v.2.2) and of Bridge,
your settings in Photoshop > Preference > Performance
the type of file you were working on,
machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,
what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far,
what error message(s) you receive,
if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
a screen shot of your settings or of the image could be very helpful too,
etc.,
someone may be able to help you (not necessarily this poster, who is not a Windows user).
Please read this FAQ for advice on how to ask your questions correctly for quicker and better answers:

Error message from my time capsule
I get the following error message from my time capsule when I try to backup my HD:
There was a problem connecting to the server "XXXXX".
Check the server name or IP address, and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator.You have lost all network connection to the TC. This is not so unusual since Mavericks.
You have listed hardware but the more important part is OS you are running.
Have you done a restart of the TC? That often gets it going.
A full network restart in correct order is next. With everything off.. power up modem.. wait 2min.. power up TC.. wait 2min. Power up computers etc.
Still no luck. Factory reset the TC and start over. -

RoboHTM.exe - Application Error message
In one of my RH5 projects, I'm getting the RoboHTML.exe
Application Error message "Instructions at ...referenced memory at
... . The memory cannot be read. Seems to happen when I try to
create a new template or when I try to change the template assigned
to a specific topic.
Each time the project crashed, I tried to recreate the same
template but it was already there. So I tried importing it but that
didn't work.
Although I'm using FlashHelp, which reports the hhp file as
"unused." I tried Peter Grainge's suggestion regarding deleting xpj
and cpd files and then using the hhp file to recreate my project
files. This was fine except all of the templates that I had created
vanished from the template folder. Because they were missing from
the Templates folder, I was again confused as to what I should do
as far as deleting or importing the templates to ensure that my
version info displayed in the topic footers..
I want to convert this project to Rh6 but am hesitant to do
so until I've debugged the problem with this intermittent
error.This has been covered in the forums before, but instead of searching, try this:
Search for the file "cmsnxeye.exe" yields three locations:
1) C:\Program Files\TARGUS\ACP50\Driver\CMdrv
2) C:\windows\system
3) C:\windows\prefetch\cmsnxeye.exeXXXXX.pf
Delete the files in BOTH 2) and 3) and reboot. Let the board know how you do.

If this question is related to SQL then please post in SQL forum.
Otherwise provide more information how this sql is being used and do you want to tune the SQL or the way it fetches the information from DB and display in OAF.

but the problem is while giving the startup command it takes more time to start the database and the same during the shutdown. So anyone help me..
the follwing are the pfile specifications:
db_name=practice
instance_name=practice
control_files= 'E:\practice\control\control1.ctl',
'D:\practice\control\control2.ctl'
db_block_size=2048
db_cache_size=20m
shared_pool_size=20m
background_dump_dest='E:\practice\bdump'
user_dump_dest='E:\practice\udump'
Thanks in AdvanceEvery thing was created successfully and am able to start the database and > shutdown also.Please restate the above.
problem is while giving the startup command it takes more time to start the >database and the same during the shutdownHow have you compared? Could it be O/S resources, installation of additional software; you have not mentioned the O/S and complete version of your database.
You can review the following although I am bit unclear;

PDF Form Takes More Time To Open when using designer 7.1.3129.1.296948
Hi All,
Adobe Reader Version : 8 and above.
designer : 7.1.3129.1.296948
When i am devloping the adobe interactive form Using designer 7.1.3129.1.296948, When I open the same in the adobe reader 8.1.2 and 9.1 its take more time (Nearly 20 mins).
When I am opening the same in the adobe reader 7.1 its opening fine.
How to resolve This problem in adobe reader 8.1.2,9.0 and 9.1 ?
Regards,
Boopathi MHi,
I have seen this exact same problem happening when, I created/developed a adobe form, on a PC which had adobe livecycle designer 7.1, but had adobe reader 7.
Once the form is created on a machine which had reader 7, then it does not matter whether u try to open that pdf in reader 8 or 9, it will take 20-30min to open, it will freeze your pc, etc.
Please ensure that when/where ever the form was first created, that machine had adobe reader 8 or higher installed it.
I hope this helps,
Regards,
