BPEL 10.1.3 running on WebSphere 6.1, question on Websphere listener ports

After BPEL PM installation on Websphere 6.1, on WAS, I see the following:
Under JMS -> QueueConnectionFactory -> I see BPELInvokerQueueFactory, BPELWorkerQueueFactory
Under Resource Adapters -> J2C activation specifications -> BPELInvokerAS, BPELWorkerAS
What I do not see is "WorkerBeanPorts" and "InvokerBeanPorts" under the following path on WAS console under the following path:
Under Application Servers -> OracleBPELServer -> Communications -> Messaging -> Message Listener Service -> Listener Ports
Could you please help clarify? Do I need this "WorkerBeanPorts" and "InvokerBeanPorts" Listener ports configured in the above path as currently
there are no ports configured?
Thanks in advance for your help.

SAAJ 1.2 solved the issue.

  • BPEL Composite going in running state

    I have a mediator that reads from AQ and routes it to the BPEL processes based on condition. When there are 15 or 20 instance read from AQ, some of the BPEL processes go into a running state. Once the process goes into a running state, the any instances created for that bpel process goes into running state. There are no errors in the soa-diagnostics log or soa log. We are running WLS server in a single node environment, database installed in a single solaris container and the wls installed in another container. There are no faults generated too. If I redeploy the process, the BPEL process starts working and goes to the same state after some time ( inconsistent). Even if I restart the soa server, the process starts working but goes to running status when load is applied.
    Any help to diagnose the issue will be greatly appreciated.

    Just to be sure, you say the problem happened only if you have 10-15 instances?
    Yes.. Even if it less that 5 but if there are concurrent calls, the problem persistIn each process you have 1 call for each service (EBS,WS,BpelProcess)?
    One BPEL process calls an EBS package( Dbaadapter), Web services each of them are BPEL process
    1st invoke web service call ( which is BPEL process) 2nd invoke is a dbadapter 3rd invoke is service call ( BPEL process)Did you change any of the default parameters on the SOA server, or DB connection?
    >>
    You might consider a problem with the EBS - maybe you are calling an API and there is a db lock...?
    All the queries are only selects. No updates and these apis are tuned.Enter the current running instance - see if the last service is the same for all running instances.

  • Can I find how many instances of BPEL process is in running state ?

    Hi,
    How can I find how many instances of BPEL process is in running state ? Any code/API ? help ? Thanks

    Check the class com.oracle.bpel.client.Locator...
    u can use the method listInstances(WhereCondition wc) to get the required details

  • Is it possible to Run a JSF 2.0 application under Websphere v7.0?

    Has anyone succeeded in deploying and running a JSF 2.0 application under Websphere v7 ?
    I was able to do this in 10 minutes using Eclipse 3.5 and Tomcat 6.0.
    However, it seems tedious to do it under Websphere.
    I would like to know if some of you have done it and how you did it.
    Thanks

  • Unable to start a Listener Port on Websphere 6

    Im trying to use Websphere6 with a Message Driven Bean.
    I dont know if this is Websphere Specific but you have to create a listener port for the server then you reference the listener port in your MDB.
    But my server fails to the start the listener port complaining about jndi problems.
    TradePort is the name of my ListenerPort and jms/JMSTradePortDestination is the name of my DestinationJNDIName, trade is the name of my MDB.
    I havent specified my DestinationJNDIName anywhere else as I understood it it is an arbitary name that the listener will use to accept jms requests.

  • Urgent : regarding listener port functionality in Websphere 5.0

    Hi all,
    In my production I have two different Listener port (LP1 from JVM1) and (LP2 from JVM2) pointing to the same queue in the queue manager. Let say that a message gets dropped in the queue will there be any conflict for the message since two differnt thread(LP1 and Lp2) are looking at the same queue. Is there any best pratice that only one listener thread should be looking at one queue. Have anyone used the same architecture to run in the production environment and has issues with it.
    Thanks
    Manoj

    The code looks OK. I can only think of 2 suggestions:
    1) install fixpack 8 or better for the 5.0 runtime
    2) make user you have the TCP/IP moniter installed between the WS clinet and server (not between the browser and client). You should see the SOAP packet in the data in the request window. There is detailed help under "Using the TCP/IP Monitor to test Web services".

    I did not have any problem if I write and run this client from Websphere studio environment..
    However its giving lot of compilation and runtime errors when I tried to run from command line.
    I could eliminated compilation errors by setting the below jar files in the classpath.
    testclient.jar; (client jar of my EJB)
    j2ee.jar;
    naming.jar;ras.jar;
    wsexception.jar;
    bootstrap.jar;
    namingclient.jar;
    websphere.jar;server.jar;
    ejbcontainer.jar;
    ecutils.jar;
    Now it is throwing runtime error after the statement, "Before looking up HelloJavaHome.", has printed. Here is the stack trace of exception ..

  • Running Oracle Reports from JSF Application in Websphere Application Server

    Hi everybody;
    in our company we are developing jsf applications and we want to use our existing Oracle reports. Reports are deployed in Oracle Application Server 10G. Is there a way to call those reports from our jsf applications deployed in websphere application server.

    Calling reports is just constructing and submitting a URL. So constuct the url in your jsf app or create static hyperlinks in your jsf app to go to the needed url. The url should look something like:
    http ://hostname:7777/reports/rwservlet?report=myrep.jsp&userid=scott/tiger@dev10g&desformat=html&destype=cache

  • 32 bit OS+Websphere  verses 64 bit OS+WebSphere and  issues

    Hi,
    Any body has come across any issues while using 64 bit Websphere server on 64 bit OS?
    We are having some issues in connecting to oracle etc. I guessing this may be due to 32 bit JDBC drivers
    and OCI layers.
    Has any body hard of 32/64 JDBC and Oracle OCI drivers? and could you please your experiences?
    Is it possible to run 64 WAS on 32 bit OS ? (I guess not but not sure)

  • Trying to run code from this weeks question of the  week

    i've copied the code from this weeks question of the week "sending an http req from a normal class." when i compile it everything looks fine. i've installed tomcat and it works. so i guess i am confused as to where i put the servlet class file??? and do i need to change a web.xml file?
    any help would be appreciated,
    erik

    for simplicity i just put Hello.class and HelloServlet.class in C:\tomcat\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes. i still cannot get this to work. here are my source files:
    Hello.java:
    import java.net.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class Hello {
    public static void main(String args[]) {
    ObjectInputStream is;
    URL url;
    String uri =
    "http://localhost:8080/HelloServlet";
    HashMap hash = new HashMap();
    try {
    //calling the servlet by passing params
    url = new URL(uri + "?&name=MyName&age=25");
    // open input stream and read the hashmap
    // returned by the servlet
    is = new ObjectInputStream(url.openStream());
    hash = (HashMap) is.readObject();
    // print it out
    System.out.println(hash);
    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace(System.err);
    HelloServlet.java:
    import java.util.HashMap;
    import java.io.*;
    import javax.servlet.*;
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest;
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse;

    public void service(HttpServletRequest request,
    HttpServletResponse response)
    throws ServletException, IOException {
         // getting the parameters
    String name = request.getParameter("name");
    String age = request.getParameter("age");
         //putting them in a hashmap
    HashMap hm = new HashMap();
    hm.put("name", name);
    hm.put("age", age);

  • How to start service to run Discoverer Viewer on 10.2 EE on web-port 7778?

    I have installed 10.2 EntEdition db on Windows, with OLAP and DataMining options "on", and wish to know what steps can enable me to run Discoverer Viewer (for example, http://mymachine:7778/discoverer/viewer ). What service must be turned on for there to be a response on this port?
    I have already started the DBconsole service (port 1158) , the isqplus service (port 5560 through isqlplusctl) and the tns listener service (through lsnrctl). What service do I start to get a response on port 7778 or 7777?
    I hope I don't need AS to run Discoverer Viewer...
    Thanks for any help,
    Vince

  • HTTP Proxy: My grogram runs even I put a wrong proxy host and port

    I'm new to network programming, so I just use System.setProperty() for easy. But I don't know why this piece of code runs with whatever proxy I set:

                            viewFileTextArea.setText("");
                        System.setProperty("http.proxyHost", "http://123.123.123.123");
                        System.setProperty("http.proxyPort", "123");
                        System.setProperty("proxySet", "true");
                           URL url = new URL(completeURLTextField.getText());
                           BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(url.openStream()));
                           String str;

                            viewFileTextArea.setText("URL not found!");
                       catch (IOException e)
         }Please help! Thank you very much!

    This is the new version:
         private class GetFileListener implements ActionListener
              public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent event)
                   if (completeRadioButton.isSelected())
                       try
                            viewFileTextArea.setText("");
                        SocketAddress addr = new InetSocketAddress("123.123.123.123", 123);
                        Proxy proxy = new Proxy(Proxy.Type.HTTP, addr);
                        URL url = new URL(completeURLTextField.getText());
                        URLConnection conn = url.openConnection(proxy);
                           BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(url.openStream()));
                           String str;
                           while ((str = in.readLine()) != null)
                               viewFileTextArea.append(str + "\n");
                           in.close();
                       catch (MalformedURLException e)
                            viewFileTextArea.setText("URL not found!");
                       catch (IOException e)
         }but it still runs regardless of what proxy host and port I set in InetSocketAddress. Did I wrongly use Proxy class in the code above?

  • I am considering buying a new Macbook Pro 13" non-retina either the 2.5 GHz or the 2.9 GHz version to run Logic Pro X. My question is whether there is a noticeable difference in how well Logic Pro X works with the 2.9 GHz model vs the 2.5 GHz one.

    Is there a noticeable performance improvement with running Logic Pro X on a 2.9 GHz model vs the 2.5 GHz one and yes I would have 8GB of RAM installed on the 2.5 GHz one if I were to buy it. Thanks!

    My buying advice - the 'entry-level' new 15" MacBook Pro. Take a look at the specs. It's a wonderful machine - and you can upgrade RAM and HD to fit your needs without voiding the warranty. I don't know of any apps that I currently run that can't take advantage of the quad-core, and almost everything is 64-bit now.
    I'd used the money you saved from not buying an out-dated 17" and put it into software. If you're transitioning from Windows that can add up quickly (which isn't to say you can't run your Windows apps using Boot Camp or a VM like Parallels.
    Just my opinion - but if I could buy anything I wanted right now, I'd go with one of the upgraded 15" non-Retina MacBook Pros.

I tried hooking it up with the Dr. Bott Mini Display port Adapter see here  ( http://www.google.de/products/catalog?client=safari&rls=en&oe=UTF-8&redir_esc=&q =dr.+bott+mini+displayport&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=9085840057573220630&sa=X&e i=rHMeULWUNo7ysgaZvYGYAg&ved=0CHIQ8gIwBg#ps-sellers )
    Neither on my new mac book (with thunderbold) nore with the 2010 Mac book pro 13 inch from my girlfriend both running Mountain Lion, would it work. Does anyone has the same troubles or knows a reason or fix? The monitor definitly works (tried with my old mac book) and this is already the second adapter I use, since I thought maybe the adapter doesnt work!
    Help appreciated!

    Hm, i cannot reproduce the kernel_task thing right now, but this is my temp after working with 2 screens for 10 minutes. is this normal?

  • Running Photoshop CS3 & CS5 - upgrade questions

    Hi all,
    So I understand that you can run both photoshop extended CS3 and CS5 on the same system (not at the same time), but I would like to clarify a few things.
    My boss purchsed CS3 extended, and we run it on two systems here at work. When he purchased CS3 he called Adobe and they gave him a second CD key to use on the second system. If we purchase the upgrade to Photoshop Extended CS5 (not creative suite), will it
    - not remove CS3 when we installed
    - work on both systems
    - will it require entering the CS3 CD key that each system uses, or will it just use the one already in use on the computer?

    At the moment, 1 computer is 64-bit, and 1 is 32-bit. We may upgrade the second to 64-bit soon, which is running the second serial. Is there any way to check what it its? I'm guessing not...
    What do you mean "check what it is"?  You're looking to see what the serial number it was activated with is?  Are you saying you've lost that number?
    There's a serial number displayed in the Help - System Info dialog, but it's not one and the same as the one used to activate the software.  Adobe themselves may have some transform they can run on that number, I don't know.
