Can not connect one of my laptop to the wireless router i just bought

i just boughta wireless n router (WRT120N) from target. I get home and set it up no problem. I try my wifes laptop, which is new and has windows 7, it works good. I get to my older computer that has windows xp and it says, "windows is unable to connect to selected network. the network may no longer be in range." I am in dyin need wat am i suppose to do.

Try to change the wireless channel on the router and check..Also on the computer,delete all the preferred network and then,try to connect.

I had the same problem. I did the reset networks on my iPhone & it did not work. My husband read somewhere that changing the channel on the router to manual & selecting the highest available channel number might help. I did that & it solved the problem. I have not had the problem since.

I tried that but it is still stuck in Draft. Cancel button does not work but Send button does.

On another note Im just checking the external and internal web server names on my server just to be sure that its not an internal server issue - here is the weblink I have been going through - I will test and let you know .

Can not connect to printer and internet at the same time

I use my airport to connect to the internet via the ethernet port. Internet was working fine until I connected my printer to airport via its USB port. Now the printer works fine but I can't connect to the internet using the same connection.
I can still connect to the same server using its wireless service, but I have to keep hitting the drop down list in the menu bar to select that connection. Can't I just keep connected to the same connection without having to switch back and forth? I thought these mac products were supposed to be all user friendly... I don't have time for this.

The only way to print and use the internet (or university network) at the same time is to do one of the following:
(1) Connect the printer via USB to your computer.
(2) Connect the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) via Ethernet to the university's network and then configure the AEBS to act as a bridge (not sharing a single IP address).
The AEBS can NOT wirelessly join the network.

I can not connect via SSH to a MacBook (the internal home network)

Hi all! There is an internal home network of three computers and Wi-Fi router. On the router and the computers with Win7 via SSH I go (with a MacBook) without problems, but on a MacBook with any other computer can not enter via SSH. What could be wrong?

Do this once for a working system,
And once for a broken system.
Compare the output and see what is says where the broken system changes radically from the working system.
Also on the destination system look in the /var/log/secure.log file for sshd entries to see if the destination system is rejecting your connection and for what reason.
It is possible on the destination system to get even more information by changing the /etc/sshd_config file entry
#LogLevel INFO
to
LogLevel DEBUG3
then issue the command
sudo kill -HUP `/var/run/sshd.pid` # reload sshd configuration parameters

Can you play those songs in iTunes on your computer?
Make sure they are all part of your iTunes library before you sync and that they were bought with the same AppleID you use on your phone.

I uninstalled and reinstalled sype many times, installed the last version, I tried all suggestions in the FAQ,, same result:

Can not connect to WiFi on iMac... just started

I have a preferred network t hat all of a sudden I can not connect to on my iMac. The network diagnostics does not even bring up the list of networks. I have 2 other laptops, an iPod touch and another iMac on the network using wi-fi and they are all fine. If Network Diagnostics does not work...how do I troubleshoot?

I would turn Airport off and then turn it back on. You should see your network and be able to log back in. There's also been a number of OS X updates - you might want to get your system up to date as there have been multiple Airport updates.
The other thing you might want to try is resetting (power-cycling) your router.

I bought my son a 1st generation Ipod touch off of Ebay. We set it back to factory settings and downloaded the newest version of itunes. Whenever he tries to download any apps it says "can not connect to itunes" I have checked the wifi connection and that is working (he can get on safari) and we have the newest version of windows.
