Difference in quantity during

Hi All,
I have done goods receipt (101 movement type) for exchnage purchase order and later done a reversal (102 movement type).
I see a difference in the quantity, even though it is very small change i need to understand what parameters have caused this to happen.
Let me know your inputs here.
Thanks,
Regards
Raghavendra

Hi,
This difference is due to moving average price. If price change it will reflect in the next document. May be due to condition type VBRP.
Thank You

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to create Confirmation ITEM with QUANTITY during runtime.
    I have successfully created item using CRM_ORDERADM_I_MAINTAIN_OW however it doesnot have scheduling_i structure which hold QUANTITY. I tried with CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN_MULTI_OW. getting following error, I tried with CRM_SCHEDLIN_I_READ_OW it creating quantity on CRM Confirmation screen.
    Can you pls tell me how to get quantity.

  • How to set the a quantity during MIGO 101 for Production Order

    Hi Gurus
    My issue is very easy.
    Since few weeks we execute 101-MIGO directly on production dep.t at the end of every shift.
    When MIGO is called the system propose the residual qty (noy yet Posted) for the PP Order.
    Becuase for a PP Order, many 101 movement have to be posted (during differents shifts), I need to clear the qty proposed in field GOITEM-ERFMG. This is becuase sometime users post a single Movement for the total residual quantity !!!!
    Is there an Exit or a Badi or a customizing setting is avaliable to do it ???
    Thank-You in advance for your help.
    Claudio

    Hi Claudio,
    A 101 movement for the production order takes place when
    - You receive the production order via MB31
    or
    - Confirm the last operation which has PP03 control key
    A backflush is done only for the components called by the production order & not for the header material.
    Hope the above answers your query.

    Rahul.

  • Modification BOM Quantity during the Production order creation

    Hi ,
    I am using the next BAPI: BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE however I would like to modify the Quantity of the components during the creation.
    Does anyone know how I can do that? Because this BAPI has not the parameters to modify the quantity components.
    Regards,
    Isaias

    Dear ,
    You need to use BDC tool for modification of BOM qty .BDC ( Batch Data Communication )  is basically a tool to upload or modify  mass data from Legacy  to SAP in batch programming   ( for any Master Data like Material Master , BOM , Work centre ) .
    To know more about BDC , please refer the step by stepo procedure :

  • Confirmed quantity during sales order migration

    Do any of you experts see any issue with the following approach to set the schedule line confirmed quantity?
    We need to migrate open order from Legacy to SAP system. While migrating we need to keep the schedule lines (dates and confirmed quantities) to be same as that in legacy (Note that legacy has exactly one schedule line per order).
    For Migration we are using the program RVINVB10.
    On order to bring in the confirmed quantity we plan to apply the following logic
    1. Add following logic to user exit - MOVE_FIELDS_TO_VBEP (in MV45AFZZ)
    If the order is a migrated order then
       check if VBAP-POSEX <> ''    (This an unused field so we will use this to pass the confirmed quantity)
          then VBEP-BMENG = VBAP-POSEX
               VBAP-POSEX = VBAP-MTVFP (Save Valye of Checking Group)
               VBAP-MTVFP = ''.        (clear the checking group to override the ATP check)
    2. The following logic is added in User Exit SAVE_DOC_PREPARE (in MV45AFZZ)
    If the order is migrated order then restore the value in VBAP-MTVFP from VBAP-POSEX and clear VBAP-POSEX.
    This way we are able to get the confirmed quantity in schedule lines.
    Any suggestions welcome,
    Regards,

    Here is an alternative functional approach
    Depending on what is being used by your ATP config to determine supply you can create following pseudo supplies only for Sales order migration purpose
    Planned orders
    Purchase requisations
    reservations
    you can load any max quantity such as 9999999 at an earliest Material availability date (MAD) determined from sales orders for Material Plant combination.
    This will help ATP to confirm the same CDD if you pass CDD as required delivery date (assumption it uses backward scheduling)
    Assumption: you are moving only completely open sales order & itu2019s not delinquent (CDD in past, schedule lines not confirmed completely)
    You have to remove this pseudo supply after sales order migration is complete.

  • Zero Quantity during orderCreate.simulate()

    Hi, everyone,
    I'm using ECC 6.0, Ecommerce 5.0 applications run internet sales.
    And have the next problem.
    When I enter basket and manually add items, or do it from product catalog, everything is fine.
    When I open previously sent order (with any status), than mark some items from it and put to basket, and press Create Order, I have zero quantities for all items and their price, the same behavior for header (minibasket).
    During debug I recognized that error appears for the next string in MaintainBasketSimulateAction.class:
    orderCreate.simulate();
    Can any one help with this issue, or probably point to FM which is called during this method.
    Thanks.
    Best Regards, Anton P.

  • Deficit of Delivered Quantity during Return delivery

    During return delivery of material via delivery we are getting the error u201CDeficit of delivered quantityu201D (Message M7 328). Although stock is present in the required storage bin and is unrestricted type. It has worked with other ODu2019s but this delivery has got stuck

    Are you returing the material through a return STO?
    if so first return the goods from already received plant at MIGO and then do the PGR for the return delivery.

  • Difference in Quantity and amount between PO and invoice

    Dear Experts,
      In my implementation, the customer puts water in the finished material BOM and wants to issue it to the production. So we made a fake PO with the required quantity and received its quantity in the inventory. The problem faces us when the monthly water invoice comes from the water company and we want to invoice in "MIRO" with reference to the purchase order. Always the quantity and amount in the incoming invoice are different from the ones in the purchase order. Please, Advise.
    Thanks,
    Magdy.

    Hi all ;
    I think that you procure water which is used your BOM. You get invoices periodically but there is inconsistency between PO and Invoice quantity and amount.
    You can benefit from M8 system messages , i created a document M8 messages for incoming invoices with tolerances that might be helpful.
    If it is used in BOM, i do not think so relation pipeline material process...

  • Differences in optimizations during compilation between java 1.4 and 1.5

    Hi
    I have an application which frequently runs into out of memory error. After doing some profiling, I found that it has more to do with the throughput of the application. Because which, messages that have to be polled from a queue are not being dequeued. This application has been compiled in java 1.5. But when I compiled the same in java 1.4, I didn't get into this problem.
    When I de-compiled the class files, I found that in 1.5, for every string concatenation, the compiler replaces it with StringBuilder() and appends the string. To check whether this object instantiation might be causing the trouble, I wrote a small snippet:
    private static void doWithConcatenationOperator() {
    for (int idx = 0; idx < fNumIterations; idx++) {
    String result = "Does" + "StringBuilder()" + "reduce"
    + "ThroughPut" + "of the" + "Application";
    private static void doWithStringBuilder() {
    for (int idx = 0; idx < fNumIterations; idx++) {
    (new StringBuilder()).append("Does").append("StringBuilder()")
    .append("reduce").append("ThroughPut").append("of the")
    .append("Application").toString();
    When I iterate through these loops( 1 million iterations), the concatenation operation takes less than 16 milliseconds whereas the StringBuilder takes upwards of 512 milliseconds.
    My question being; are there any other so called optimizations that can reduce the throughput when compiled in 1.5.
    Thanks

    If I compile this in 1.4 ( i.e using javac -source 1.4); the decompiled code looks the same.
    But if I do so in 1.5 ( i.e if I decompile the same code compiled using javac -source 1.5), this is how it looks:
    public void StringConcat(){
    int noOfIter = 10000;

    The above was the compile time optimization I was talking about.What makes you think that the decompiler is not the problem?
    The ONLY difference between 1.5 and 1.4 in that case is that one uses StringBuilder and one uses StringBuffer. And StringBuffer is faster.
    Just wanted to know, are there any other differences in compile time optimizations between 1.4 and 1.5.I suggest that you go look at the read me. And I also suggest that you become familar with byte codes and stop assuming that a decompiler is going to tell you anything.

  • Quantity & price  difference between purchase order and goods receipt

    goods receipt against purchase order
    inventory a/c    dr
       gr/ir clearing a/c    cr
    if there is any quantity & price  difference in between PO and GR  ex-  PO order -1000 bags @ rs 10  but good receipt 900 @ Rs 10
    then how the price difference and quantity diference treated in sap
    what will be the entries, how we adjust it.
    regards
    siba

    kindly note that depending on the Moving average or standard price (price control flag in mm01) the difference will either get adjusted with the material or to the price difference account accordingly.
    in the example for standard price
             gr for po :10 bags @ 11
    dr stock 100
    cr gr/ir 110
    dr price diff 10
    the above is in case of material maitained at 'Standard price' in the mm03.

  • Quantity related Scale pricing not considered during Goods receipt

    Hello Group,
    First thanks for looking into my issue.  I tried to follow the solution in SAP Note 401941 on assessing the right unit price as it relates to the quantity received during Goods receipt, but my ABAP developers are very green at this time and they cannot figure out where to place this code fix and how it would work.
    Background on issue.
    From quantity of 1 to 99, I want the price to be 4.00 each
    From quantity of 100 and above, I want the price to be 3.00 each.
    When doing goods receipts for quantities that have not reached 100 yet, it is still assessing 3.00 each.  I found the OSS note above that is really not helpful and was wondering if anyone else is using scale pricing and how their GRs are calculated for correct unit price.
    Thanks all for your assistance.
    Samantha

    The scale pricing cannot be used to influence price during goods receipt. Goods Receipt will pick up the price from the purchasing document.
    Suppose you want to have that the price be determined based on the quantity received over a period of time, you need to use rebate agreement.
    The OSS note mentioned in your question says that you can determine the price based on the schedule line quantity during GR (not quantity at the time of GR). It will not solve your requirement.

  • GR IR quantity and amount do not match

    Hello,
    I came across a PO where the GR and GR reversal were posted after the invoice matched and cleared. The amount and the quantities that posted on GR and GR reversal do not match because they are posted to wrong materials. Now I have these two entries in GRIR account and I cannot clear them because they do not match.
    So, i. Is there any configuration that would restrict from posting a GR and GR reversal after the invoice has been matched?
         ii. Is there any configuration that would allow to post GR/GR reversals to correct materials?
    I highly appreciate your responses.
    Thank you
    Priya

    Hi,
    I understand this is end user error but I am looking for configuration in SAP that would not allow this. Please let me know if you need more details.
    Your PO have material with line items 10 and 20  with a specific price and then goods receipt amount is differs. First cross check price control of each material master in MM03 t.code and find with respect to which price goods receipt value are posted.
    For your example:
    Suppose there are two materials 10, 20
    Material 10 - quantity 5 net price 5
    Material 20 - quantity 10 net price 2
    GR of quantity 5 and price 2 i.e total 10 posted to material 10
    GR of quantity 10 and price 5 ie total 50 posted to material 20
    You may have price control S where system posted GR for material 10 with price 2 as PO have price 5 and for material 20 with price 5 as PO have price 5.
    If goods receipt posted with quantity and value with updation of GR/IR clearing account , then during invoice posting the same GR/IR clearing account updated.
    Cross check material master price with price control, material price in PO, material posted with price in GR and invoice posted material price. Analyze,If any  difference on quantity-  go for correction with cancellation IR & GR posted, then post with original GR quantity and finally do invoice or else check for  MR11 for GR/IR clearing balance.

  • How to calculate total stock quantity in cube

    Dear Master
        I want to verify the data between BI report and cube whether correct or not.My report name is stock summary. It's giving report for Total quantity stock (0TOTALSTCK) for paricular date. This KF(0TOTALSTCK) inflow is 0RECTOTSTCK and outflow is 0ISSTOTSTCK. Somebody telling to get the Total quantity stock (0TOTALSTCK) value, I have to use following formula 0RECVS_VAL (Value Received into Valuated Stock) - 0ISSVS_VAL (Value issued from valuated stock). Please advice me which formula should I use to get the total stock quantity?.
    Thanks a lot in advance
    Raja

    Please let met understand better, you have the following keyfigures:
    - Receipts (Cumulative)
    - Issues (Cumulative)
    - Difference (Cumulative) populated during URules = Receipts - Issues (any routine with elaborated calculation behind?
    - Stock (non-cumulative InFlow = Receipts, OutFlow = Issues)...
    Is this correct?

  • Copy quantity confirmation from Qt to SO

    Hi
    While i copy Quotation confirmation for SO creation , system again go for availability check automatically , after that i observed that it confirm other quantity instead to quantity blocked by Quotation.
    So its like double quantity confirmation for same order .
    Can anyone help me how do i get back SO confirmation quantity of Quotation only ??
    Thanks
    Nitesh

    Hi guang,
    The system response is correct only.  Because the system do the availability check at both Quotation and sales order levels.  This is because the availability check settings at schedule line category (VOV6)of both levels.
    So, first check have u activated the setting at both BP &CP.
    Also qty difference is arised due to the document probability. Since the quotation have document probability of 70% only, so only 70% of the item qty have been transferred to MRP. But in sales order, the probability is 100%. that is why the difference in quantity is arising during availbility check.
    Hope it is useful..

  • Close old open POs of GR and IR quantity differ.

    Hi,
    We are having some open POs of year 2006, 2007. These POs are not archived due to Quantity delivered differs from qty. invoiced.
    Now GR, IR are archived and business wants to close these POs.System is not allowing as there is difference in GR and IR quantity.
    Is there any standard SAP report which will allow to put deletion indicator in such POs.
    Thanks
    Sudhir

    Sudhir,
    Have you tried MR11?  That's precisely what it is supposed to fix: The GR/IR clearing program posts a document that 'fixes' cases of 'quantity delivered' not equal to 'quantity invoiced.'
    If you have done this already, there should be an entry for GR/IR adjustment in your PO history, and all the quantities should add up.
    I haven't tried this in similar circumstances, but I don't think the fact that the GR and IR are archived would prevent you from clearing the difference with MR11.  If you have really cleared this difference, and quantity invoiced = quantity received, I'd suggest having a technical person trace through the program to find the source of the problem.
