Display of measurement document - t-code IK17

my clients requirement is to analyse power consumption vs cost in machinewise.from pm aspect, i had suggested to enter power consumption in measurement document but at the same time client's requirement is to have the display of cost also.means suppose 1 unit of power consumption costs Rs.4/- .Now if they enter 4 unit in measurment document total cost should be automatically calculated by system i.e.Rs.16.So.at the month end they want to see how much power is consumed by a particular machine and what is the cost involved for that power consumption in a single screen.At the time of creation of measuring point,there is a field called conversion of measurement unit,can we map this scenario with this concept.please,give some solution how we can address this problem.

You can create a sales order with the following two condition types.
1. PR00 - Price per unit
2. EK02 - Cost per unit
By entering the power consumption as a material and the delta usage of power as quantity you will have both.
No development required. Also check with FI consultants if PR00 can be configured to not hit the revenue accounts. That way you can then treat as a report or write a simple query to get a report.

Creation of PM measuring documents after UD in calibration

Hi All,
There is a function module QFOA_QM_CHAR_TO_PM_E_POINTS (Follow-Up Action: Transfer of QM Charac. Results to PM Measuring Points) in SAP QM quality inspection configuration to create PM measuring documents automatically after the Usage decision. For that I have to create class characteristic in MIC to establish the link between MIC and the measuring point of PM equipments for automatic creation of measuring documents according to UD codes.
Can anyone please put some light how I can create the class characteristic for MIC and make a link between MIC and the measuring point of PM equipments.

BSP for Creation and change and display of the documents in SAP R/3.

Dear All,
In SAP R/3 system, the documents can be maintained using the T-Codes CV01N, CV02N, CV03N for creation, change and display of the documents. Users is allowed to access to these transaction using the BSP application. The BSP page would be used to enable access the T-Code CV01N, CV02N, CV03N and allow uses to carryout the functionalities of check in and checkout of the document and the object links.
do i need to replicate all these T-Codes in BSP application?
If anybody hv done this...pl suggest me and give me the code.

if you want this out of BSP, yes you have to code all of them there is not easy way.
but if the idea is to webenable these transaction and you dont have much time/resource to do it , easiest way is to go with ITS. downside of this is that you dont have much control over look and feel.
If you are on WAS6.40 or above your application server comes with integrated ITS and enabling the same is quiet simple.

Looking for Idoc / BAPI to create measurement document in PM IK11

Hi All
I am working on interface development wherein I need to use a BAPI or IDOC or combination of both to create measurement document in PM.
Do you guys know how can we do it easier way. Is it that I can post idoc directly or need to post it using a BAPI.
I am trying to avoid any BDC or CT for this purpose. Please guide on how to do that.

I don't find them listed in the BOR, but look at function modules named like: BAPI_MP*.
You might be able to utilize these for both the measurement point and the measurement document. At another assignment, I had a situation with IDOCs that could call up to 12 BDC/CT sessions, etc. I wrote a function module that was triggered by the inbound IDOC start process, and I utilized BDC and CT to do the IK01, IK11, etc. Using a BAPI would have been better, but the code was really pretty simple for the measurement stuff, since the transactions are simple and easily recorded.

Link between Maintenance plan and measuring document

Hi Gurus,
Is there a way to find out if a measuring document exists for a maintenance plan? IMRG has the measuring document information, but I could not find any link to the maintenance plan. Similarly, in table MPLA/MPOS, I could not find anything. Please help.

Look in table MMPT, field MMPT-POINT. This will provide you with a link to the table IMRG on IMRG-POINT. If entries exist in IMRG, they correspond to Measurement Documents for that Point.
When displaying the Maintenance Plan in IP03 for example, you can view the Measurement Documents easily using the "Counter Information" icon.

ICR - Wrong display of assigned documents in Object Groups.

We are just about to start with UAT and we have found this error which is a major problem for us.
When we run the automatic assignment step via FBICA3, the system starts assigning documents automatically based on the matching rules that we
have customized. After this, it starts classifying the matched documents based on the account groups defined in the customizing.
The problem is, that sometimes one side of the matching falls into one group and the other side of the matching falls into another group and
then the user cannot see the assigned documents in the same screen.
We were thinking of using a BADI that gets called after the automatic assignment but we think this is a huge thing to do with a BADI because we would be changing the way the standard fucntionality works with our code.
Any other ideas?

Where in your scenario is the problem:
#1 The object groups are defined incorrectly.
#2 The data is posted incorrectly.
If #1 is the case - change the object group definition
In case of #2 it seems to me that what you want is more transparency where the issue is so the users can make the necessary adjustment postings. It would be good to have a specific scenario here.
Why did you create the object groups you created? Are these examples you're referring to based on the fact that the invoices were posted incorrectly?
In FBICR3 you would usually use either just one object group (Open Items) or two object groups (Payables and Receivables). Are GL open items classified as payables or receivables incorrectly when integrating them into process 003?
Hope this helps. If you need additional answers, please provide more details and specific examples...

P.S.: Instead of adding these other documents to the object groups where they don't belong you could also add a function which will display the partner documents for the currently displayed "assigned" documents which don't have their partner documents in the display in a popup. That way you're still showing the problem (partner document is not posted correctly) but give them a little more information how to correct it (item should have been posted to account ABC instead of BAC)...

Collective entry of Measurement document

Dear Expert,
We running the collective entry list process through IK34 for measurement document.i would like to inform you that we have three measuring point(A,B,C) attached in particular equipment(Z).but we put only two entries in measuring point (A,B) through same entry list.than unable to entry for same measuring point(A,B).
So, tell me how can this possible only two entry in measuring point(A,B) for same entry list.

Hello,
You created one equipment with 3 measuring points A, B & C. Now you have created the Measurement Entry List in IK34 with all 3 measuring points.
In that list, now you want to enter the reading only for A & B but not for C.
For this, put t - code IK34. Give the entry list number.
In next screen, you will see all the measuring points.
In that list, near measuring point "C", there will be one check box. Select that box & go to top where you will find delete button. Click that button. That will delete "C" temporarily from the list. Now you enter the readings for A & B.
Then click save to save the document.
that will create 2 Measurement documents.

My doubt is wen i create fleet master using ie31, how do I create the measuring positions/primary counters and assign it to the vehicles in the "Vehicle ID/Measuremnt" tab page.

Query to display all the documents

Hi
How to display all the document numbers (quotations, orders, invoices etc), posting dates in three columns i.e. Cust Code, Doc No , Posting Date?
Since all the tables storing this information having the same column names do you think it is possbile? then how to write a query?

what Raja said is correct. The steps are to write the query the fields you want to display in the query, so it will be as follows:
select docnum, cardcode, doctotal, objtype from ORDR
then use UNION ALL, the union all is used to join the other tables e.g. purchase, good receipt or good issue to the above sales order query but must have same fields.
It will be as this follows:
select docnum, cardcode, doctotal, objtype from ORDR
union all
select docnum, cardcode, doctotal, objtype from OPOR
union all
select docnum, cardcode, doctotal, objtype from OIGN
union all
select docnum, cardcode, doctotal, objtype from OIGE
since the result objtype here is a value, I use "case when" to display objtype in the words and user can understand the document name.
It could be mixed in all the 4th queries and will not give error result.

Authorization for Measuring document creation

Hi,
i have one issue. I want to provide authorization for measuring documents creation. That has been done by providing the different authorization groups in roles for T codes IK11, Ik12 etc to the users. Now users with a authorized authorization group for perticular measuring point can create a measuring document fo that. But the problem is that despite the authorization group, if user goes to t code iw41 for order confirmation , there he can create measuring documents of any authoprization group. How to control that thing. I also give authorization group authorization for t code IW41 but still it is allowing for the creation of documents. any help on this thing.

there are two ways you can control the measurement reading entry
1. Block the authorisation of IK11.When you go to confirmation screen through IW41 , there a button for measurement document update. Even the user will press it system will not allowed to enter in it as he is no authorisation
2.You can configure the screen template for overall confirmation and use this profile while doing overall confirmation using iw42. There you can hide the measurment detail screen.

Not able to see earlier measurement documents

I have an Equipment in reference to which documents are created since 2005 in its history.
and each time delivery is created measurement documents gets created, which can be seen in reference to existing measurement points in normal scenario.
but for a particular equipment last measurement documents available are of year 2014 and 2013 only. All the earlier measurement documents cant be seen in Equipment or in IK17.
Are they deleted or can be seen somewhere?

My HP 7500 Wide Format Printer has a very noisy printer cartridge carriage.
The display screen comes up with Printer Document Center Code 0X6101BED.
