Email item properties

Is is possible to query the mailbox and get a list of the items in a folder and get the properties for items in that folder?
Properties i'm looking for are things like creation date, modified date, retention tag, read/unread, folder, others fields.

Querying Exchange 2013 Mail server for email items using c# and Exchange Web Services

I am trying to upgrade an existing application that reads Exchange 2003 using WebDAV. The mail server is to be upgraded to Exchange 2013, so I am checking how I can use EWS.
I have a problem in that although I know the inbox has unread items with attachments, the query I am running against the
FindItems object is returning empty (results.totalCount=0)

What I am supposed to be doing is reading all the unread emails in the target inbox (only one Exchange server) and taking the attachments on disk so I can then add them as attachments as new cases on SalesForce.
Where am I going wrong?

Surely that will only look for one email item, right?

qrygroup1 is item property 1, qrygroup2 is item property 2 etc.

User manipulation of web item properties

Hi everyone,
I have a requirement from a client where they want to be able to dynamically manipulate web item properties, more specifally they want to change the number of columns of a report displayed on the web.
For instance, lets say I have a web template that has a query assigned to it and displays a report. In the bex web designer, you can set the number of columns displayed in the properties section of the web item. I want to be able to change this property directly from the web with the help of a drop down box.
Is it possible to do this, and if so, how?
I have tried to search the forums for a similar questions but with no luck.

Hi,
Are you referring to the Table item property named DATA_COLUMN_TO? Aren't you able to change it by adding it at the end of your url with the desired value?
If you need to add a button or a new context menu entry then you will need to add some javascript to your web template.
Please, check how to guide about adding a new context menu entry (How to enhance context menu).

Store BP and Item properties in Rows of new table in parallel to columns

Hi Product Development Team,
At present SAP B1 stores BP and Item properties as 64 columns in respective master table.
As the main purpose of property feature is for Reporting and Analysis, Analysis Report developers faces difficulties in preparing analysis report based on properties in the present structure of prperties in column.
I suggest to introduce additional new table (each for Business Partners and Items properties) which contain rows for selected BPs/item's selected properties.
In order to retain present functionality the existing column can remain as it is and also continue to updated as it is.Only additional new table will also get updated and new analysis reports can be build using these newly suggested tables.

Changing stereo to mono pair in ITEM PROPERTIES

I know that you can unlink stereo pairs in the timeline, but I would like to unlink the stereo pair of the master clip in the browser so that I can change the levels for the entire clip for each channel separately before I begin editing (one is a boom mic, the other a lav). Under Item Properties the clips have the audio listed as stereo pair, but I can't change it. If I click on the clip in the browser and go to modify "unlink audio" is greyed out. It seems that you can't change the audio linking of a master clip. Otherwise I have to lay a clip into the timeline, unlink the audio, change the levels for each channel, and then copy/paste that to all the other clips after I lay them into the timeline. Am I missing an easy way to do this? Any help is appreciated

I don't think you can do it the way you intend, but there is a work around. Take all your clips and dump them completely into new sequence (no ins/outs). Unlink the stereo pairs all at once by hitting CMD+A and then OPT+L. Adjust the Pan of one of the audio clips to center. Copy that clip (CMD+C) and Paste the Attributes (OPT+V) to all the clips in the sequence.
Now all the clips in the timeline should be 2-mono and panned center.
In the browser, create a bin (to keep separate from original clips). Select all the clips in the timeline (CMD+A) and drag them into the new bin. That will create new master clips with mono audio instead of stereo pairs.

I am currently working on an exce VBA macro code that would help me take snapshots of the Graphs and Pie charts generated in QC for a particular application and copy the same to an email item using excel VBA macro code.
I was able to write the code to create an email item. But I have no clue of how i can take snapshot of the graphs in Analysis View using excel VBA
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Which Forms Item properties are converted to APEX?

Has it been documented which Forms item properties are converted to APEX with the Application Migrations tool?
For instance the 'required' property will be converted, but item properties like 'format', 'initial value', 'hint', 'tooltip', 'auto hint', 'justification', 'case restriction' and 'max length' are ignored
I hope more Forms item properties will be converted in a next APEX release.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have read that piece of paper, but it doesn't tell you in detail what item properties are converted.
I would have liked for instance that the "hint text" property is converted into a help text for a page item.
If the auto hint or tooltip is set in forms, than the Template label of a page item should be set to optional/required with help.
and so on...
There are more item properties which could have a destination in APEX, I reckon.
Now it's difficult to tell which are and which aren't converted.
As soon as you have this kind of list you know which post configuration actions you have to perform.

Outlook 2013 not responding when creating a new email item in Windows 8

Mbs in QT Info different than FCP Item properties

When I command I a QT on the desktop I get a substantially different Mbs data rate than when I check data rate in item properties in FCP. Why is this?

QT on desktop -command I - 216.13 Mbit/s. FCP-select clip in browser command 9 - 25.8 MB/s
Those are two different units of measurement. QuickTime is giving you the rate in MegaBits,
FCP is giving you the rate in MegaBytes.
As Tom points out, the difference is in fact insignificant and averaging may account for your perceived discrepancy.

Database Item Propert

Hi,
I see that it is said that whenever an item of display
time (say which contains a summary or calculation) is
placed in a datablock then its "Database Item" property
should be set to "No".
Any reason why it should be set to No.
I am having a Text Item within a data block which
is calculated according to :ORDER_ITEMS.QTY * :ORDER_ITEMS
.UNIT_PRICE. Its Database Item propert is set to Yes
and I am having no problem.
I did similar experiment with a Summary field and faced
no problem.
But there must be a valid reason.
I am new to forms so my questions may seem a bit silly.

this is from the online help:
The following item properties are defaulted to No at compilation time:
Database Item
Insert Allowed
Primary Key
Query Allowed
Required Update
Allowed Update
Only if NULL.
So you may want to prove that the calculation really is written to the database. It seems that Oracle gracefully handles properties that aren't set properly.

Web Item Properties cannot be displayed in WAD

Hi,
I cannot see the web item or template properties in the WAD. I have ticked the flag for the web item properties to be displayed.
This seems to be user specific, if I login as another user, the properties work area is visible and as well can be selected or deselected for display.
I am new to Web reporting so am not sure where to change the parameters to get back the properties work area for me.

Its really strange that the issue seems fixed on itself. Today I have logged into the system and found everything in order.
Now I can see the properties pane in WAD and as well select/deselect it from the toolbar.
It seems to be one more SAP mystery!!!!

Final Cut Imports my clips with the wrong item properties

Ok, I have a really weired issue. I have a bunch of HDV footage that was captured. The source footage is HDV 1080p24, 1440 x 1080. Quick time reads it just fine, and so does Final Cut Pro on several machines, except the machine i need to edit the stuff on.
It is really weired. When I import it in to final cut and put it in the time line it turn says it needs to be rendered. And my sequence setting are set correctly. Because it works on other machines. So i go to check my Item properties and Final cut is interpreting the footage as 1920 x 1080 with Square pixel aspec ratio. When the frame size should be 1440 x 1080 and the pixel aspect should be HD (1440x1080). I am using Final Cut version 5.1.2, and I cant for the life of me figure out what the problem is. Can anyone please help.

I am going to try to capture HD1050p.60 video into my Final Cut Studio Pro Tomorrow morning. I have five tapes with an hour of video on each of them. I want to maintain my high resolution HD quality. This is the first time I have attempted to do this. I understand that I use the easy capture. I have read a lot of the posts I understand there may be a problem if the camera man did not leave gaps between the takes in that 4 seconds of the video is cut off. I asked him to shut down the camera between takes to save film but most of the takes were 10 minutes or more -- does that mean that I will lose the first 4 seconds of the video when I transfer? I also understand that I must import sound and video seperately. How will I ever be able to match up the sound with the video if they do not import together? The Camera that was used was a Sony HDVDVCAM 3ccd30fpm HDV1080i1DV. Can you please give me some advise as to how to do the import without losing the quality of my video. Also, do I need to set up the final cut pro for 16/9 frame width which is what my video is. Right now I have my studio pro on a 720 which is what the demo learning video was. I would appreciate any help you can give me. I have purchased a 250Gig Lacie to transfer my video to since I understand that if I put all of the video into Studio Pro it will be too massive to work with.
