Error for custom infotype in PPOME

Hello Experts,
I have created one custom OM infotype for object position.Now when i am trying to acccess that Infotype in PO13 it is working fine but when i am trying to acccess the custom infotype in PPOME it is giving a dump.
EERROR:
Error in the ABAP program "SAPLRHOMDETAIL_PP01" had to be terminated because it has come accross a statement which cannot be exceuted.
An exception occurred.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_ASSIGn_CAST_UNKNOWN_TYPE', was not caught in procedure "INIT_SUBSCREEN" "(FORM)" nor was it propagagted by raising clause exception.
The reason for the exception is :
The type "" dynamically specified with ASSIGN....CASTING TYPE is unknown.
Please guide me where i am doing mistake.

The new infotype is a part of PPOME, but when I want so save the data, the transaction dumps saying "DYNP_WRONG_SCREEN_TYPE". This is because the screen of the infotype to be processed is a subscreen (Dynpro 7000 of the generated module pool). But I cannot switch the Dynpro to normal dynpro because the PPOME then dumps immediatly.
So what to do? Nothing found in the OSS...

E-Recruiting : Creation of Search Profile for custom infotypes

Dear experts,
Can anyone let me know if you have created search profiles for custom infotypes in eRecruiting?
The requirement is for the TREX to be able to search for Candidates based on the fields which are defined in this custom infotype. This infotype (9999) is completely custom defined mapped to object NA.
In the IMG,
I don't have to change the search profile type
I created a new Z Information category.
Here, i have to specify an extraction class for this Z Information Category.
Can anyone please tell me what this should be? Can i give it as "CL_HRRCF_CEC_INFOTYPE" ?
Also, can anyone please mention the significance of the table "T77RCF_SPT_INFTY " and how we should be handling the entries here for our custom infotype ? Should we create a custom class to specify here? How should we do this ?
Any inputs & thoughts regarding this will be invaluable.
Needless to say, i created the Z information category with the class CL_HRRCF_CEC_INFOTYPE but when i run the report RCF_RECREATE_SEARCH_PROFILE,It is giving me a lot errors.

To answer your question, Yes, automatic generation of NA for newly hired/created PERNR (P) is because of the integration you have activated between PA and eRecruit via BADI implementations. Look at OSS note 997181 for details on how integration works.
If you dont need integration between PA and eRecruit on PA40 then you may have to tweak the BADI's.

Logical database PNP not retrieving data for custom infotypes.

Hi all,
I am using logical database PNP in a program. I have declared infotypes as follows:
INFOTYPES: 0001, 0002, 0041, 9801, 9840.
The problem is that the logical database is retrieving data for the standard infotypes but not for the custom infotypes. Any explanation as to why data for custom infotypes is not being retireved and how this can be solved will be greatly appreciated.

Can we use HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATIONS FM for custom infotype too or is there other way or other Standard FM to upload data for custom infotype starting with 9000..etc.

in my requirment input will come from portal form and in background Java Wd is going to use these FM but i have this big doubt can we use these standard FM for uploading data in custom infotype as well or else is there any other way.. but for sure we can't use BDC and LSMW in this requirement .

Error for customer specific Authorization check (User Exit)

Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem in PM.
I have created a maintenace plan for calibration via t code IP42 and mentioned the order type PM05. Scheduling is done for the order. I got the order number.
I have released the order and got the inspection lot number.
While entering the results recording through t code QE17, the reluts are out of the specified range, i have given the valuation Rejected, immediately system is giving an error message as below:
"Error for customer specific Authorization check (User Exit)"
Though there is no user exit activated in the system, this message is coming and not allowing the result recoring for rejection.
If I'm entering the result recording within the specified range, then valuation is Accepted and its allowing to save.
I have checked the following user exits:
QQMA0002: QM: Authorization Check for Entry into Notif. Transaction
QQMA0026: PM/SM: Auth. check when accessing notification transaction.
The above 2 User Exits are not active.
I have also checked a note 429066. But it says incase of any dump for that user exit only its applicable and more over the current version of the system is ECC 6.0 packae 15, where as that note is applicable upto 4.6C.
Please some one help me on this issue.

I have cheked with my technical team, There is no hotpacks updated recently. This is the implementaion project I'm in, so performing the cycle for the first time.
Any how I got it solved, in T code QE17, after entering the Inspection lot in next screen goto menu path Settings - User settings - Defects recording mention the reprt type and tick on Reprt type Changable.
At the time of result recording if the valuation is Rejected then it ask for defects recording close that window if not rwequired then save, the error message no longer apperaing now.

Hello,
If I was to do it and under the exposed conditions I would have to make a batch input report that would create a cut in your infotype from the currency change start date and record - convert all previous record to new currency.
There is a few standard program created back when the euro came into play that you could have a look at so to replicate behavior for your custom infotype. Report is RPUEMU00, you could have a look at subroutines PROCESS_INFOTYPE_TABLES, PROCESS_PA0015, or maybe just custom abap logic will suit you better.

Add custom infotype on ppome

Hi all,
I'm struggling with adding a custom infotype (tab) to a position in transaction PPOME.
I searched on sdn and the net, but I'm not able to find a solution.
Problem is that the tab is displayed, but there's only the message 'no subscreen found' displayed.
I've done following steps :
- created the infotype using PM01
- created subscreen 7000 using PPCI
- added subscreen 7000 in table T77ID
- adapt the sequence of the framework in SPRO
I'm sure that I'm missing something, but what ?

Subtype ERROR in Custom infotype

i have created a custome infotype.
i have assigned a subtype for the same.
but it is not working.
when i press F4 in subtype field error is displayed.
ERROR MESSAGE is " infoytpe xxxx not supported".

Custom Subtype table for custom Infotype

Hi,
How can I have a customer table Z* as subtype for an infotype? In PM01 I can set a Z table and field in infotype settings, but an error occurs when genarating my infotype.
I would like someting similar to IT 2006 in my custom infotype where I would have a specific Z table as subtype (not a generic one like t591a) so that new entries in that Z table appears as new subtype options.

Hi,
The Subtype Table doesn't contain the Subtype Field.
For Example: PM01 for IT 2006 has Subtype Table T556A, Subtype Field KTART (which is not part of T556A).
KTART is a field in the IT2006 Structure itself.
Subtype Table is used just for the Values of the subtypes, Texts, Time Constraints and Object IDs.
Can you mention what the Structure of Z table is, and what the Subtype Field is.

Time constraint 'T' for custom infotype

HI experts,
Im creating a custom infotype and i want to assign time constraint 'T' for that infotype. But while assigning the time constraint in Infotype characteristcs in PM01, it throws the below error message.
"TIme constraint T is not allowed for 9021 infotype".
Pls tell me what is the pbm here and how to solve the problem?

Try this.
If a subtype needs to be maintained for the Infotype then some additional steps also needs to be performed
before providing Infotype characteristics
1. Select the Technical attributes from the initial screen of PM01 transaction .You will see a list of RP_XXXX where XXXX is infotype.
2. Select the change button on application tool bar. The dialog module in the above screen then becomes
editable.
3. Select the Infotype 9021 and select the details button. Make sure you are in change mode.
4. Provide the Subtype field of the Infotype, Subtype table as T591A and Subty.text table as T591S.
5. Save and go back to the initial PM01 screen.
6. The subtypes for an Infotype can be entered via the maintenance view V_T591A.
Now try maintaining time constraint T with view V_T582A through SM31.

The field SUBTY should display as drop down by picking up the subtypes related to Infotype 0021 from the table T591A

Transaction to create an infotype is PM01. See online help there.
You have to create the PS structure first (SE11). This structure containms the fields, look at existing infotype for example.

Change layout of Adhoc query output list for Custom infotype

Hi All,
The fields in the Infoset query output on a custom infotype are aligned with the fields u2018payment typeu2019 and u2018amountu2019 appearing repeatedly(in columns) as declared in the Infotype and the output will be a long horizontal list.
Instead, the requirement is that the output list should show vertically so that If I choose u2018Payment Typeu2019 and u2018Amountu2019 as output fields, it will show a long vertical list as in the case of a standard infotype (IT0008).
Also, this way enables user to use Payment Type as a selection criteria so as to just pulling the needed payment type. When we use IT0008 in the infoset it works fine but in custom IT it does not work.
Any pointers/suggestions on how we can achieve this would be helpful.

You can find vendor list having Vendor No. & without showing total liability for every vendor.
after executing the report,
1.You need to select "change layout (ctrl+F8)",
a small window comes, it has two part -> column content & hidden fields.
then u select "Vendor" from hidden field & move it to column content.
2. at column content there is a column named "Total". u need to remove check for your column name "amount".
now select "copy" button or enter. u will find the req. report.
u can save it also by ur name.

if i create any organisational unit in ppome, i want to know the immidiate parent organisational unit (ie. Objid of the parent org unit) of this newly created org unit.
Also if the cursor is on some other org unit other than the newly created org unit.
then i am not able to get the objid of this newly creatd org unit in PBO or PAI of
my custom infotype screen.
Any help will be highly rewarded.
