Help to find business / technical content for cost center accounting

Hi all,
I am a new to BW. Where can i find the technical and business content for cost center accounting info cube (data from R3) and the equipment info cube ZMXCART_XX(data from flat files). These are the two cubes which i learnt from training.
Does SAP BW provide techinal and business content for its demo cubes and how can i find them?
Please forgive if my question is too basic and crude.

   When i create sender structure for retraction,need to specify the retraction target(eg UPB_RET_COPS) using drop down to find.But i can't find any value after using drop down button.So i want to know how and where to define the retraction target,in BPS or R/3?
   The dictionary structure has the same problem.
   And what do mean the fields of 'offset' and 'sender field lgth'?
   Need your help!

BPS Retraction for Cost Center Accounting - Cost Element - Compounding with

Hello everybody,
I'm using the "BPS Retraction for Cost Center Accounting" described in the blog from Praveen Mayalur. I have customized the BPS system (3.5) as described.
But if i started the retraction i receive a dump. I have debug a little bit and i found out that there is a problem with the InfoObject "Cost Element". It is compounding with two InfoObjects "Source system ID" and "Controlling area".
PERFORM FILL_RSRDEP USING I_AREA
                          I_CHANM
                          ITO_CHADEP
                    CHANGING LT_RSRDEP
                             L_SUBRC.
IF L_SUBRC NE 0.
*Abhängige Merkmale müssen in der ITO_CHADEP stehen
MESSAGE X099(UPC).
ENDIF.
Does anybody have this problem before. ?

Hi,
it looks that your 0COSTELEMNT has been changed and the additional compounding object 0SOURSYSTEM has bben added. In BI Content it is only compounded to 0CO_AREA. So may be this is the problem.
To be sure that it works you must make the change in your source system to and "compound" 0COSTCENTER to 0SOURSYSTEM. Or you have to chabge the retraction that way that it ignores the source system and only reads 0CO_AREA and costcenter.

Help to find the technical Content

I want to install Technical Content in BI 7.0 system, I ran the job RSTCC_ACTIVATE_ADMIN_COCKPIT and it is running, now after
this what are the steps. I need
1. 0TCT_C01 what is mapping datasource 0tct_ds01 but i do not find this when i go to TR- RSOR in BI Content installation.
I guess it will after the job RSTCC_ACTIVATE_ADMIN_COCKPIT is finished
also i think i have to install the process chains manually in RSOR
Please guide me since I want to see the loading time for all my DTP's and Infopakages can i use
"Runtimes of BI Application Objects" Report, what is OLAP Time is it the the time it took for extarction
Below is my requirement: Please help how to go about this
1. Data Load Time for New GL Model for all IP'S and DTP's per dat loading
2. How Many Users use the New GL report
3. How many infoobject are used in report

Hi Poonam Roy,
Whole installation is defined in the note 934848. Once the installation is done you need to schedule the process chains to load the cubes.

ANS: Check the queries defined on the cube 0TCT_MC22 & 0TCT_MC23.
2. How Many Users use the New GL report
ANS: Build your our query on the cube 0TCT_MC01 all the relevant information is present there.

Create a Z Table with Cost center, Product Category and G/L Accoount mapping
Use BADI: BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT
In that BADI call FM: BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL and get the Cost Center of the Shopping Cart. And read the ZTable and update the Shopping cart.

Hello Huy,
CCA reports would be based on table CCSS, you can go to transaction GRR2 and check the various libraries listed there and find a suitable one. You can also use libary 1AB which contains the various cost center variance reports or you can use transaction GR21 to create your own library.

When I created outbound delivery for a sales order, on the goods movement tab, cost center automatically assigned to the line item.

What is technical content for the BI statistics and where do I find this???
I want to know what is the procedure to know which query is mostly executed in the system and by how many users.

go to RSA1> tools >bw statistics>here we have two options like OLAP,WHM ,if you chk OLAP for the respective cube,now it will display all the related infromation i.e all the details of the queries pertaining to the cube
WHM will store all related data staging related information
want to know what is the procedure to know which query is mostly executed in the system and by how many users
the below cubes will meet your requirement
0BWTC_C10_Q011 OLAP Use per User
0BWTC_C10_Q506 OLAP Use per User (Total Number of Records)
0BWTC_C10_Q505 OLAP Use per User (Total Time)

Datasources Missing when Installing Technical Content for BI Admin Cockpit

Hi,
I have installed the Technical Content for BI Admin Cockpit in our QA systems, for BI7, using SPRO, and it seems that there are some missing datasources, transfer rules, etc.,
The one's that are missing are:
=> 0TCTPRCSVAR_TEXT
=> 0TCTPRCSVAR_ATTR
=> 0TCTBWOBJCT_TEXT
=> 0TCTBWOBJCT_ATTR
Does anyone know if this is a known issue, that these are not available?
Please let me know if they're required, and if there's a fix to get them back.

Hi John,
In my system the symptom is the same. So I just installed them myself in RSA1->BI Content.
I don't think it's a big problem because the queries on the MultiProviders can run without these master data. For example, you may find the text of query is missing but you can see query's technical name.
I remember when I activate 0TCTBWOBJCT_TEXT and 0TCTPRCSVAR_TEXT, these datasources are in BI 7 version but there's no transformation. So I create myself.

Search Help for Cost center

Hi All,
I have 2 questions
1) we dont have any default cost center maintained any where in the org-structure (PPOMA_BBP), howeverwhenever I go for shopping I can see a cost center along with GL account, ( I know GL acct is coming from "determine GL account for prod-cat" settings in IMG), but what about cost center where is it coming from ??
2) second, when we do search help for cost center's in shopping application, we are able to see all cost centers from the back end which I guess is good, but we can see even those cost centers which are blocked!!!, why is this happening ??,

For First::
In general the CO Area (here: cost center) is derived from R/3 Backend Enterprise
Structure and should be re-determined if another acc. objects is
entered that belongs to a different CO Area. Please also check the
settings in R/3 Backend IMG, path:
->Enterprise Structure ->Assignment ->Controlling
->Assign company code to controlling area
The company code is assigned to the CO Area through the following
assignment:
->Materials Management
->Assign purchasing organization to company code
The CO Area is in general the organizational object in
highest (CO) level. Assignments to other MM/CO objects are located
in lower Enterprise hierarchy level. Hence, the CO Area does not
change if a different CO object of a lower level (here: cost center)
is assigned to a SRM document.
For Second::
The only possibility I see is to set the message to error message in
the customizing in the backend. The message number is KI 170. When you
look at the long text of this message in transaction SE91 in the
backend, you will find the description where to look in the customizing.
When you have set this message to ERROR, then no purchase order will be
created in the backend. Instead the shopping basket gets the status
'ERROR' and the administrator will recieve a work item in his inbox.
Then he can check the backend and either post the purchase orders again
after solving the problem, or he can delete the shopping baskets.
Please check the note for more infos or the documentation.
Setting the message KI 170 to error message will solve your problem.
See note 333136. I would think that if you create
a PO directly in the backend if you do not have the message configured
as and error you will be able to create the PO.

Input help for cost center & WBS element not working

Hi ALL
We are using SRM 4.0 with backend ECC 5.0.
Input help for attributes cost center (CNT), WBS element (PRO) are not functioning.
When tried to search for input help (F4) on the above attributes, I am getting message "Display not possible (Inconsistency in the input help)".
I even applied SAP note 746788 for cost center search help.
Can you tell me if I have missed any config settings?

Did you managed the transactional RFC destination in the customizing (where you define all your log. systems it is an additional field in the table control).

F4 help is not available for cost center in Confirmation

Hi
We are working on SRM 4.0
During the Confirmation of services through WEB portal ( F4 ) option is not available for Cost Center
Through GUI ( Backend) we are able to see the Values in Drop down , but when we select them un able to copy them to Confirmation screen.
Through Web front end F4 help also not appearing.
We have applied the OSS Note 935201 in spite of which, it is not working
please give me inputs on it.
