I can't get 7.2.2 although it says it was "released"...

...and I see a lot of discussion about it. I'm on a PC.
I actually had an Adobe tech support guy (Ashish) try to manually install it and my system refused to take it. AdobePatchInstaller.exe returns "This update is not for you".
Ashish beat up my system in every conceivable way, including uninstalling CC and Application Manager repeatedly and using the Cleaner tool on it. Still no go...
I'm a little surprised my system won't acknowledge this supposedly important bug fix, and allow install.
Ashish made a big deal about my install of Creative Cloud where Windows 8.1 runs from a SSD which is too small to accept all the Program Files etc. I carefully installed the system (nearly a year ago) moving every piece of the Users directory with a "location" tab to D: (fast conventional HD) and install every program for which there's an option to D:\Program Files or D:\Program Files (x86). I like to think I know what I'm doing but Ashish insisted that my configuration is "not recommended".
I'm aware that many users trying to get the speed of SSD went for smaller drives and exercised the options available to make sure the drive didn't overflow. I'm not sure that the choices I made can be blamed for this patch not installing.
I'm also not sure why I don't have an option in Creative Cloud or the Help/Updates menu in my version which lists as 7.2.1(4).
I'd love any thoughts from the great team of Staff and senior forum members who might have an idea what's going on. Thanks in advance. You guys are great.

...And now the fix. And the ACTUAL problem!
The "default location" of files in Creative Cloud are set from the Preferences item in the gear at the top right-hand side of the application.
When I first installed the applications that tab was set to "D:\Program Files" and that's where the programs installed. However, through an upgrade (changing to Windows 8.1) both Creative Cloud and (most importantly) Adobe Application Manager (AAM) lost track of those locations, although the programs continued to run just fine.
How does a mere user get to AAM? Just click "Updates..." in the Help menu of any CC program. Look at the title bar of the window that comes up. Voila!
Now, when I clicked on Preferences at the bottom of that window (the one you get when you choose Updates...), the list included only one application: AfterEffects, which I had installed for the first time yesterday.
This means that the reason I got the earlier messages (most notably "This patch is not applicable for you")  was because this lovely AAM had NO idea I had the software installed.
Working again with the folks in Adobe's India Tech Support center, we located the fact that Creative Cloud Cleaner DOES know EXACTLY where these programs are installed and will nicely UNinstall them so that I can REinstall them and now they're listed and updated properly!
There is no user interface to AAM and it can be INCREDIBLY stupid. I can install apps on the D: drive all I want, and as long as AAM remembers where they are I'm fine. If it manages to FORGET then I can't update those programs until I use the smarter app within the CC framework (Cleaner) that DOES know where the "bodies are buried" to remove them and then tell AAM where I've now put them. AAM has no user-addressable interface. THAT is why I had so much trouble. I am now updated, better educated, and somewhat empowered that my installation is NOT so irregular.
If Premiere Pro can do such a good job locating wayward pieces of video footage when we wantonly move them around...WHY can't AAM do a decent job of locating applications on our hard drives when they didn't budge? And if it loses track, why can't we have a way to lead AAM by the hand WITHOUT having to uninstall and re-download software?
