I used my old computer for college and haven't used it in awhile, now I have a job that can benefit from having those programs. I was wondering if ADOBE keeps records or something to where I can download the programs on my new MacBook and use my old serial #s.

My Laptop crashed. I had a full backup on Carbonite so the iTunes folder is there and downloadable. Is there any way just to import that and have iTunes on my new computer (Windows 7) recognize it?
Nothing gets imported. Simply restore the ENTIRE iTunes folder to the new/restored computer.
Download and install iTunes from Apple's website.
The first time iTunes is launched, assuming the ENTIRE iTunes folder is restored to the correct location, it will launch and be exactly as it was prior to the comptuer issues. If for some reason this does not work, close iTunes, hold the SHIFT key while launching iTunes and a prompt will appear to choose or create a new iTunes library. At this point simply point iTunes to the correct location for the existing iTunes library. -
Because the Firefox update today required me to update and install an update to an adobe application and then required me to restart my computer I "lost " the connection to my previous session and tabs. Is there any way to recover my tabs from yesterday?

I figured it out! I don't fully understand why, but when I uninstall ESPOINAGE 2 from my laptop, sleep works fine now.. Weird!

I have a ton of documents and databases in AppleWorks v 6.0 that I can no longer open on my MacBook Pro. Is there any way to recover this info? Some documents can be opened and resaved with textedit, but not my database with all important addresses.
I tried Peggy's List > Select All > Copy > Paste into an AW spreadsheet suggestion.
In my case, pasting into the spreadsheet lost all text formatting (mostly text set to bold). The results of formulas were pasted, and checkboxes were pasted as "on" or "off". The DB did not contain any pop-up menus or radio buttons, but I expect they would transfer as a number showing the list position of the chosen item.
Pasting the copied List view data into a Numbers table gave a result similar to that with AppleWorks. I selected B2 as the target cell (for top left cell of the pasted data) to avoid any effects of posting into a header row or column. Bold and regular text formatting looked the same as it had in AW's List view.
Based on that, I'd slip the 'paste into an AppleWorks Spreadsheet step, and paste directly into a Numbers Table.

i have bought a used macbook, to bad i do not have the admin password. is there any way to bypass this issue with out the Mac OS X disk? (without loosing my obtained files?) I NEED HELP BADLY PLEASE....
What version of the Mac OS X are you running. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and post the version.

I can't pull them off my old install since it was erased.Lets hope that you did not really erase your old profile, you would have had to go a little out of your way to do that. I've never used Sync but you have to have something to Sync to.
Use the following to see if you have more than one profile or your lost bookmarks
in the bookmarkbackups folder.
Type about:support into the location bar the click on "Open Containing Folder" that will take you to your current profile. The bookmarkbackups folder has 5 backups (.json files) any of which can be restored with Firefox up through restore bookmarks.
It doesn't sound like the install pulled in your old bookmarks, so continuing ...
Sounds like you created a new profile instead of using your existing profile.
Open your profile folder and go up one level to see if you have multiple
profiles ...
HELP (Alt+H) --> Troubleshooting information... --> "Open Containing Folder"
(or type about:support into the location bar then click on "Open Containing Folder")
note the filename, then go up one level to see if you have additional profile folders.
Check the dates of places.sqlite (new in Fx3) for update date just before you went to Fx4.
Since it is updated each time you close your session that would be a good place to check.
If you find one then note its filename (the profile name is part of the filename) and
then start the Firefox Profile Manager and open with that profile.
To prevent the problem in the future don't let Firefox start up for you after
downloading and installing a new version. Instead exit the install at that
last point, and restart Firefox in your normal manner.
If you really do want to start with a new profile like the one you have, them look in the bookmarkbackups folder of the other profiles and look particularly at the dates and the size of the .json files to find one that you can restore to your current profile -- restoring is complete replacement of what you have for bookmarks.

Please Help!!!! I have an ipod touch 4th gen. and since the last update the lock button no longer works, this has caused it to have a lot of problems now like freezing all the time, kicking me out of almost all my apps, some times even when if locks on its own its not locked and buttons with be pushed in my pocket, and this causes the battiery to die fast. I really love my ipod and would like to just get it fix if possible for a reasonable about of money. Anyone know of a place I can get it fixed in Ft Lauderdale Fl area or is there something I can do?

I've broken the screen on my iphone 4 but it lights up so i know its still working, I synced it to a laptop I dont own anymore

Hi, I don't know if this has happened to anyone, but for 3 days ago my apple id got suddenly deleted!! I didn't make any change in my account except changing the password for some months ago!! I have already bought a lot of stuff for my iphone and ipad (the most exists still in the phone and in the itunes). I was wondering if there is any solution to find my old id and if by changing the id means that i lost all the old things? Btw, The most of the receipts are still in my mail list!
