Everything seemed to work fine after moving everything over from my old MacBook Pro at first but I cannot run Outlook 2011 for Mac. The logo displays briefly and then the app closes. It never really even gets anything loaded other than the little logo.

Try removing and reinstalling Outlook

Do you have access to your old computer with its iTunes library intact? Ideally, you should transfer your complete iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer. Then, iTunes on the new computer will look like iTunes on the old computer, with all of your songs, playlists, etc. If you can do it that way, please post back for more info.
Otherwise, you will need to off-load song files from the iPod...

Lost old backed-up files while moving music from an old computer to new Mac

I was following the support topic, "How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer" on the support tab for iTunes. I followed all of the instructions and in one of the final steps, I was gping to put the estimated 1000 songs I already had on my Mac back into itunes. BUT, the folder on the desktop that SHOULD have had the files in it is completely empty. I need help locating those files. iTunes now only show the roughly 700 songs that I transferred in from my old computer. My boyfriend is going to be so angry if I lost 1000 of his songs...I followed the instructions on backing up those songs...how can I fix this??? Go into your router's page and disable password protection and try connecting again.

I meant to say 5.1 the problem I've got is it's saying it does support ppc software but I have got the intel version but for some reason won't install from disc but if I transfer from time-machine backup it works

Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

It is certainly possible that you will receive it tomorrow. Apple's refurbished stock is held in many locations, and the item you have ordered may be in a location sufficiently close that shipping today could result in delivery tomorrow.
However, the shipping estimates are only that; estimates. It is just as possible that it will not ship today, possibly not even tomorrow. All you can infer is that once shipped, it is more likely than not to reach you the day after.

Was the FCS on your old machine an upgrade? You will need to enter your original, full version serial first, and then you will be prompted for the upgrade serial number.

The hard drive in the MacBook Air is not meant to be user replaceable. Further, the OS installed on your MacBook would likely not run the MacBook Air.
A better solution might be to use the Migration Assistant to move your data to the new computer. This comes up when you are setting up the new computer for the first time.
