Aperture update demands app store, but appstore doesn't work either

Hi, I have Aperture 3 installed. "About Aperture" reveals Version 3.1.1 1311300.1. I downloaded the 3.2.2 Update from the Apple website and it refused to run saying that I needed to use App Store to update. When I go to App Store, it says that everything's up to date. I bought Aperture 3 from the Apple Store, before App Store existed.. why is it asking me to go to App Store? Am I missing something important here?

To be able to download the Update from the AppStore you need to delete the 3.2.2 Update of Aperture you downloaded from the Apple Store. Then you should be able to use the "Updates" Button in the AppStore Application Toolbar to update Aperture.

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. A refund may not be possible since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store, as Joey said, state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you. An exception is more likely if the app is defective in some way or doesn't do what the developer advertised and the developer has been unable or unwilling to help you.

The Side Switch is to mute your ringers, and most of the application's sound. To totally mute the sound, you must use the rocker to mute it.

You will have to contact the Apple Store you bought the card from and ask, but if you scratched off the coating to expose the redemption code, then no, they won't take it back.
