Issue with PTO (Paid Time Off) quota generation

Hi All,
We have an issue with quota generation of PTO for our employees.
The issue goes like this:
We have a Paid time off for employees 5weeks( 200 hrs) for employees who have worked less than 5 years.
we have paid time off for employees 6 weeks ( 240 hrs) for employees who have worked more than 5 years.
we have the following logic that has to go in this config:
-- Our fiscal year starts on Feb 1st and ends on Jan end or Feb starts which has a full week of working days. ( ex: if 01/31/2012 falls on a Thursday the following Monday which has full 5 day working week would be the end of the fiscal year).
-- Depending on the working hours of the employees and the date of joining for the first year ( for new hires)0041 info type the eligibility gets varied and reduced. Ex( employees who joins on start of fiscal year and works 40hrs per week schedules is eligible for 200hrs of PTO. Employees who join in the month of august and works for 35 hrs per week ( i.e mid of fiscal year) would get 91 hrs of PTO.
I need to put this in the system. I am thinking this could be done with out tweaking PCR.I need help in configuring this in Absence quotas as to what are the things i need change in system config and how do i do it. Please help with some screen shots if possible. I really need this to get it done ASAP. Looking forward for help.

We use TM00 schema. Can i call TS15 and TS 12 rules into TM00 acheieve my issue of quota entilements?
Iam doing this because my businees needs to see if an employee chages his work schedule from 40 to 30 or 20 etc.. the PTO has to vary accordingly.
As the minimum eligibility is to work for 20 hrs to avail the PTO days. If at any point the employee drops it under 20 he will not be eligible till he work any this >= 20hrs per month so the evaluation has to check periodically to update the quota availability.... I need help plz suggest ...

You can use the Quota Corrections infotype (2013) to influence how these accrual entitlements are generated and transferred from the table:
· You can increase, decrease, or replace an accrual entitlement (set to a fixed value).
· You can make the accrual entitlements available for deduction immediately in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006).
An employee has joined your company from another company. His or her contract has guaranteed a one-off entitlement of ten days of leave when the employee joins your company. You therefore want to increase the employees leave quota by 10 days. You want the entitlement to be immediately available in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006) so that the employee can take the ten days of leave.
Structure
You can only use the infotype to change absence quotas that are accrued in time evaluation. The changes are taken into account the next time that time evaluation is run. Time evaluation carries out a recalculation starting on the day for which you have entered the quota correction. You can view the results of the quota correction in the Quota Overview (transaction PT50).
Transfer time
The Absence Quotas infotype (2006) does not take account of quota corrections immediately. The infotype is updated at a specific transfer time that is determined in Customizing.
If you want to make the corrected accrual entitlements available directly in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006), you can also immediately transfer the accrual entitlements accumulated in time evaluation and the quota number specified in the infotype. You do this by setting the Transfer field to Transfer collected entitlement immediately.
Replace and increase
In the case of automatic accrual, time evaluation can either replace or increase the existing accrual entitlements in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006). You will generally want to use the Quota Corrections infotype (2013) to change only accrual entitlements that are increased by time evaluation.
If the accrual entitlement is replaced by the quota correction, you can only choose the Transfer collected entitlement immediately function for quotas that are to be replaced. If the entitlement were not transferred immediately, time evaluation would overwrite the correction immediately.
If an accrual entitlement is replaced by the quota correction, you can only enter one record for each day. This is because a second quota correction would overwrite the first one, thereby making it void.
Customizing
To check whether a quota is replaced or increased, choose the Customizing step:
Personnel Time Management --> Time Data Recording and Administration -->Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas --> Calculating Absence Entitlements --> Automatic Accrual of Absence Quotas --> Permit Generation of Quotas in Time Evaluation.

Query-Paid Time Off (PTO)

Hi,
I am working on Time Management. I have a query. I need to set the PTO (Paid Time Off) right wherein the Details given as under:-
Scenario:-
1) Length of Service=0-0.99
Accrual hours per pay period=4.01
Yearly Equivalent= 96 Hours
Maximum Hours of Accrual=96
2) Length of Service=1-1.99
Accrual hours per pay period=4.01
Yearly Equivalent= 96 Hours
Maximum Hours of Accrual=144
Here the query is that the Maximum number of Hours to be accrued should be 96+96=192 but the client wants it to be 144 and not 192 but clients wants to add the Scenario 1 and 2 for maximum number of hours but the total should not exceed 144. Same is the case with other scenarios given wherein I need to add maximum number of hours but there is limit set for total.
I went to T559L but unable to understand how to incorporate the above stated.

most people will tell you to do both pram and smc resets (google) and if you still have issues, either clean install (easy) or troubleshoot (hard)

^^ that's the main problem. Here's the full history.
I bought a new 13" i5 MBP, early 2011 edition. I had an old white Macbook 2.14 ghz core2duo on Snow Leopard. I attempted to port over my time machine backup, but encountered problems in that my User was inaccessible from the new computer after the import finished, and I had to go in and change the root password, etc, and for some reason or another, I couldn't install any programs at all from that administrator's account. By "couldn't" I mean I could install them, but upon installation they would never boot. So, I took it to the apple store and did a clean install from the most up to date Lion OSX. Then, I created a brand new admin account, instead of trying to import the old one, and things seemed great. Then, I just imported my old files from the TM backup, but not any system settings, permissions, or user data. Just my Docs, pics, vids, apps, and itunes stuff.
Here's where things get weird again. I imported this stuff under the name "old", but all of these folders have a red negative sign on them, marking them as restricted. So, from my main admin account, I cannot even peruse these folders. Since I didn't import user data, I can't sign in to the "old" account to change permissions. I already tried to change the permissions from system preferences, but that didn't change anything. And now, for whatever reason, of all the apps that were imported then, MS Office is the only set of apps that does not work. When I click on it, it just says there was a problem and asks if I'd like to send a report to apple. I tried reinstalling it to no avail. I'm an English student, so i really need access to Word. Can anyone help? The Apple store is a major detour for me and would like to fix this issue myself.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

I cant find my pdf/ibooks on computer after backing up my iPad (they are on my iPad). Also, I'm having issues with my Ipad turning off about every 2 minutes so I want to restore it. Dont want to lose my files from my iPad.

My trouble started when I was trying to update my IPad but it was taking too long (internet was scetchy) so I powered off...now Im having problems. I haven't tried to update again since this problem. Any suggestions? Should I restore? Should I update to 7.0.6? (currently 7.0.3).

Issue with site load time when exported as HTML. Addressed?

Has the issue with website load time been addressed?
I believe the site attempts to load the entire image content at the initial visit - meaning any galleries with numerous pictures are all included when first getting to the site. This is causing a HUGE increase in load time. I was told when I last brought it up that it was an apparent issue that needed to be addressed.
Any type of resolution coming?

Major updates of Muse are targeted to release roughly every quarter. The 1.0 release was in mid-May. The 2.0 release was in mid-August. A fundamental change to image loading would only appear as part of a major update due to the engineering and testing efforts required.
As provided in your previous thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/4659347#4659347 the only workaround until then is to reduce the number of images in the slideshow.

TenFourFox issues with computer date/time

I had an interesting problem tonight which I fixed and can replicate whenever I feel like. On my old Powermac I run TenFourFox which is what I assume most are doing.
The battery in my Powermac needs to be replaced, but I almost never unplug the computer so I'm never worried about the computers time, as it is always right.
Tonight I had to unplug it and when I started it up I got the "wrong time" notice but I mostly ignorred it. Everything worked well and then I tried using TenFourFox...it was an utter disaster.
It was slow, unreponsive and overall unuseable to say the least. After a lot of thinking I set the time right and it worked again, as it had before.
So after this I set the time wrong again and sure enough, TenFourFox before unuseable.
Does anyone know if there are any known issues with TenFourFoxx in the department? Could someone else try this? (Just set your clock back a few days and try to open TenFourFox)
I'm curious if I've found an issue with the app because I know for a fact ti's not hardware issues.

Running v 5.0 here, no problem in TFF changing the Time backwards, but Safari wouldn't work here until I cleared the Caches.
Some Servers are Date/Time critical & consider anything trying to connect reporting the Time off by more than a minute will refuse connections.

Issue with Date and Time Picker on Windows 8.1 and Office 2013

We are having a issue with the Developer tool in Excel called the Date and Time Picker which puts a calendar field into the spreadsheet where you can select a date from the calendar popup
If we change this date field and then save and close and reopen it reverts back to the previous date before the change was made
If we do the same process on a Windows 7 machine with Office 2013 it saves the changes we made to the Date and Time picker field

I'm using Windows 8 and Office 2013,and I can't reproduce this issue.
Please make sure you have already upgraded to the latest version of excel, try to reregister the MSCOMCT2.OCX.
Also you can try to use another date picker add-in to test this issue.

Issues with restoring a Time Machine backup onto new Macbook Pro Retina

I recently got a new Macbook Pro Retina and I've been trying to restore a Time Machine backup made today from my old Macbook Pro laptop. I didn't restore from the first start up (foolishly, seemingly) simply because of the trivial reason of wanting to see the system all clean and new.
I've tried the Migration Assistant but it gets stuck on "looking for source..", despite having the ex.HD plugged in and double checking the existance of the backup itself on the ex.HD.
I've also tried booting the laptop up in the 'restore' mode (cmd R) and restoring from there but it sends me in a constant loop of 'this backup was from a previous model of laptop' or something to that affect. It also doesn't display the recent backups at all, only displaying those from the beginning of this year for some reason. All backups are in the same place on the ex.HD so its not an issue with locating the backups.
Really stuck on this one! Would really appreciate some help!

Quality issues with "Stray Cat Blues" off Beggars Banquet

Since JUNE , I've been trying to get the iTunes store to fix a problem with "Stray Cat Blues" off Beggars Banquet / Rolling Stones. There's a warbling glitch on this song at around 2:20. I've downloaded it every two weeks since then and although the response from support claims that they take issues of quality "very seriously," the only solution I've been offered is to download the same crap version every two weeks. I am very doubtful this will ever be resolved. Does anyone else have the iTunes version of this song and do you hear the same problem? Does anyone know a better route to get the file fixed?

The boot drive i was gonna get, i decided to hold off on, (the Raptor), until i square away these issues im currently experiencing.
As of now im running Tiger 10.4.10 on my OEM Drive from Apple, its a 500GB Seagate.
Im partial to tiger as its provided enough stability for my Audio & Graphics design setup, im reluctant to goto Leopard and ill see once i figure out the situation with the ATI Card.
All my sata ports seem fine, i only have TWO DRIVES in my MacPro Drive Bay 1= OSX and Drive Bay 2 = XP PRo. I tried a few drives in each point and all show up and formatted fine with the exception of the DOA i received a week or so ago.
-- SO basically i just want to slap the new blank drive into the case, connect it and go from there; so a GUID partition then a Clone is the way to do it?
The new firewire case unfortunately is only USB 2.0 & FW400.

then sometime this week the ATI Card to be replaced at the applestore as applecare over the phone recommend that they do it and run a diagnostics (Okay? i guess).
I even asked the Apple Care and Genius if it could be a bad connector or something but they insisted the PSU would be making a grinding sound if so.
but im not sure how that is because most of the people dont seem to trouble shoot MacPros.

Issues with site load time. (bg images)

Hey, guys.
Having an issue with a site uploaded with MUSE. None of the images are overly large, but the load time is 5 to 6 seconds where it should be instant.
Looking at it, it appears as though all of the images are attempting to load simotaneously in one large chunk rather than in a line. Is there anyway to remedy this?

This isn't related to background images. It's how Muse is handling the loading of the ~100 images in the slideshow. Thanks for pointing this out. Until we have altered the loading method for these images, the only workaround I have is to decrease the number of images in the slideshow.

Have you tried a reset?
Press & hold both Home & Power until you see the Apple logo.
If that doesn't fix it, restore it as new and see if that fixes it.

Anyone having issues with iPhone 5 time

My iPhone 5 keeps randomly changing it's time sporadically? I live in an area where there is no reason the time should change. It's not only my phone, a friend of mine who also has an iPhone 5 that is doing the same thing. In addition, the date will change. For example, on September 28th the date changed to September 7th. I am in Hawaii so there is no reason the time should change (daylight savings, time zones). Are there others experiencing this issue. I have the time set at auto.

I was told by Verizon corporate store that Apple would publish an update by mid-December. Well, guess what? It's coming up on mid-January and no update!
In order to keep my time, alarm and calendar accurate, I have to turn off the automatic time setting AND TURN OFF THE 4G LTE!
This *****, and after 2 months of it, I'm sick of it. When it's on 4G, this phone is smokin fast. I want my 4G Apple!
Why should we all have paid for an iPhone 5 and expected a better and faster phone, then end up with this crap? A phone with lousy reception compared to my 4S and one that can't keep time!

Issue with PCR to restrict absence quota

i have a requirement where the absence quota should never be over 24 at any particular time.
for this absence 24 leaves per annum with 2 leaves accumulate monthly.
we are using -ve time mgt and written a PCR to restrict absence to 24 by using Time type

I need a PCR for the below scenario. I created two types to store day balance and max entitlement to 25 days.   We are not processing payroll from SAP.   Any help writing PCR with details would be appreciated.
Schema we are copying TM04
Time types - storing daily balance one for below 60 days & one for after 60 days planned working time.
Vacation per calendar year 25 days not based on seniority.
Scenario:
2.       Prorated entitlement for employees who will work fewer than 60 work days for company in a given year are calculated as follows:
a.     1/12 of annual vacation for every 21 days s/he performs work
b.    For these purposes (60 days worked rule) the following is also considered as work performance: Planned working time from IT0007 and public holidays.
c.     e.g. if hired on Nov 11, 2011, there < 60 wd remaining. They get 1/12 (25/12 = 2.1d) for every 21 work days remaining - in this case 2 periods of 21 wd, since RIM days and holidays are included as work days, for a total of 4.5 days (round up to half-day).
3.       Prorated entitlement for employees who will work 60 or more work days for RIM in a given year are calculated as follows:
a.     1/12th of annual entitlement for every calendar month of completed work
b.    E.g. If George is hired on July 15 2011, he gets 10.5 days of vacation entitlement.
c.     The number of full months George will have worked by the end of the calendar year is five u2013 Aug to Dec incl. George gets no entitlement from the 16 days from July 15 to July 31st.
5 / 12 * 25 days = 10.4 days, rounded up to 10.5 days.
