    Thanks

    OK, then pls follow below steps;
    - Go to step 'Create Users' in solman_setup System Preparation scenario and make sure the user SM_INTERN_WS has a green status. Use the 'Test Login' button to make sure the user is not locked and has correct credentials maintained in solman_setup
    - Immediately after checking the user status, navigate to Configure Connectivity->Enable Web Services and execute again the 'Create Logical Ports' automatic activity, in order to propagate the correct credentials to the Logical Port definitions.
    - If the above operation is not successful, repeat the two steps above, providing a different user Id in 'Create Users' step, eg SM_INTERN_W1. This will prevent situations where the user gets locked by Logical Ports using an obsolete password.
    Let me know the results.

  • Dynamic Host and Port for Web Proxy

    hi,
    When I create a web proxy in JDev I supply the hostname and the port for the web service. The code is then compiled and then deployed. However I want the host and port to be dynamic (kept in a varaible) so when I move my deployment from Development to Test server I just need to change a value in a database or text file. I don't want to re-compile and deploy the code when I move servers. Is there any way to do this??
    Thanks

    Hi,
    not so in the WSDL file that is created. If from the client side access, then WS poxy classes allow you to do this

  • Host in DMZ try to access VPN Client.

    ASA5510,
    VPN client 192.168.250.249 have only port 1433 access to DMZ host 192.168.250.8.
    DMZ host 192.168.250.8 have all ports access to VPN Client 192.168.250.249
    I added the following rules into VPN Group policy
    access-list AM_SVR02_EXT extended permit tcp host 192.168.250.249 host 192.168.250.8
    access-list AM_SVR02_EXT extended permit tcp host 192.168.250.8 host 192.168.250.249 eq 1433
    but doesn't work.. VPN client access host 1433 is ok.. but host can't access VPN client ..
    How to do what I want?
    Thanks in advance.

    There is not much point in adding 192.168.22.0/24 to the split tunnel ACL because it is already included in 192.168.0.0/16. It might be helpful to add 192.168.22.0 to the VPN_Routes ACL. Can you tell us what is 192.20.3.0/24 that is currently specified in that ACL?
    Can you verify that devices in the DMZ have a route to the address pool for VPN?

    You may need to enable tcp/ip
    SQL Server Express listens on local named pipes and shared memory. With a default installation, you cannot remotely connect to SQL Server Express. You will need to enable TCP/IP and check if the firewall is enabled.
    To enable TCP/IP:
    From the Start menu, choose All Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server 2005, point to Configuration Tools, and then click SQL Server Configuration Manager.
    Optionally, you can open Computer Manager by right-clicking My Computer and choosing Manage. In Computer Management, expand Services and Applications, expand SQL Server Configuration Manager.
    Expand SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration, and then click Protocols for InstanceName.
    In the list of protocols, right-click the protocol you want to enable, and then click Enable.
    The icon for the protocol will change to show that the protocol is enabled.
    Cheers

    Your computer can't connect to a computer named "son1175", or if it can then that computer isn't running a server listening at port 25. Talk to your network people if your computer name is the right one and ask them why not. It is nothing to do with programming.

  • How to do .1x port based network access authentication through ACS

    How to do .1x port based network access authentication through ACS.

    Hi,
    802.1x can authenticate hosts either through the username/password or either via the MAC address of the clients (PC's, Printers etc.). This process is called Agentless Network Access which can be done through Mac Auth Bypass.
    In this process the 802.1x switchport would send the MAC address of the connected PC to the radius server for authentication. If the radius server has the MAC address in it's database, the authentication would be successful and the PC would be granted network access.
    To check the configuration on the ACS 4.x, you can go to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_server_for_windows/4.1/configuration/guide/noagent.html
    To check the configuration on an ACS 5.x, you can go to http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_system/5-2/user/guide/acsuserguide/common_scenarios.html#wp1053005

    can any body give me smtp and pop3 host and port name of gmail server?????to send a mail......

    Just do a new initial context and lookup the datasource, in case you need other info like host name and port you can use MBEans like:
              InitialContext ctx = null;
                   // fetch managed server name by accessing the
                   // RuntimeServerMBean using the
                   // MBeanServer interface
                   ctx = new InitialContext();
                   MBeanServer server = (MBeanServer) ctx
                             .lookup("java:comp/env/jmx/runtime");
                   ObjectName service = new ObjectName(
                             "com.bea:Name=RuntimeService,Type=weblogic.management.mbeanservers.runtime.RuntimeServiceMBean");
                   managedServerName = (String) server.getAttribute(service,
                             "ServerName");

  • Determining Message Server Host and Port information

    Hi,
    I am working on the NWDS creating a Java WD application and I was told which Netweaver system I should work on but I was not told the Message Server Host  information neither the Port information. I ran transaction SM51 (right click->details)in the Netweaver system but the information it is not working. Even though I can telnet this server port if I go to the J2EE Engine window within the NWDS I do not see the green light. I just see "N/A". I also tried to deploy my application but I keep getting this message: "Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly".
    Please advice,
    Diego.

    Hi Diego,
    in order to see Message Server Host information and Port information go to SAP J2EE Engine start page: e.g. http://system-name:57100/index.html (use administrator pws).
    Then click on System Information, here on the top you can read the Message Server Host and Port.
    Hope this help you.

    Launcher means shortcut to execute any file which is inside folder in Linux.Launcher are created on desktop to execute by one click of mouse.You need to create a command file that contains the required instructions to run putty with whatever relevant command line switches in order to start the remote program/process on Linux.
    For example, you have a trusted ssh connection (no password prompting) between your Windows account and the Linux vmware account. You need to execute command line +/home/vmware/bin/vmstart myVM+ on Linux.
    Your command file in Window will look something as follows:
    @echo off
    "c:\program files\putty\pssh.exe" vmware@my-linux-server "/home/vmware/bin/vmstart myVM"Once you've create this command file (.cmd file extention), you can create a desktop shortcut for it and assign an icon to it.
    However, first test the command file via an interactive console session to ensure it works. Also, I'm not sure you can script telnet using putty - but putty's ssh does support the standard ssh command line and one can execute programs/commands on the remote server in this fashion.
    Setting up trusted ssh connections is also important as passwords is a weak security mechanism. It requires a secret to be used and coded into scripts/software that needs to be authenticated.
    With ssh you generate a public/private key combination, and provide the public key as unique identifier for your o/s user and platform to a remote server (e.g. Linux). This now enables your platform and o/s user to be authenticated via the privatre/public key pair when your platform establishes a connection with the server.
    In putty, generate a ssh key (RSA). Copy and paste the public key into the Linux server account's "+home/vmware/.ssh/authorized_keys+" file. Make sure that the +.ssh+ directory and key have user read/write permissions only. And that's it - no password needed by your account to ssh into the Linux server account. No secrets that need to be kept secret (and that can be stolen and used from any other platform to gain access).

  • Cannot remotely access DVR after second DVR was installed

    We installed a second DVR and cannot remotely access the old one.  The new one can be accessed from Android or HTML.  When I attempt to access the old DVR I get the message "Internal Server Error"

    Sorry to hear about the problems accessing the second DVR. Have you rebooted the DVR by unplugging the DVR box? If that does not fix your problem please send me a private message so I can re-do the port mapping.

  • What is the host-optimized port?

    thanks

    In a nutshell, host optimized ports are over provisioned internally, while target optimized ports have full internal bandwidth.
    Host optimized ports normally exist in 8 port groups, where those 8 ports share a lower bandwidth "hidden" port internally. Think of it like chaining switches internally.
    Now, you can configured host optimized ports for targets, or ISL's, you just have to be careful not to over provision that hidden port that services the port group.
    Here is a snipped from MDS documentation that describes how to do that
    Configuring 32-port Switching Modules and Host-Optimized Ports
    The 32-port 1/2-Gbps switching module contains 8 port groups of 4 ports each. When configuring these modules or the host-optimized ports in the Cisco 9100 Series, the following guidelines apply:
    •Any (or all) full line rate port(s) in the Cisco MDS 9100 Series can be included in a PortChannel.
    •The host-optimized ports in the Cisco MDS 9100 Series are subject to same PortChannel rules as 32-port switching modules--only the first port of each group of 4 ports is included in a PortChannel.
    -You can configure only the first port in each 4- port group (for example, the first port in ports 1-4, the fifth port in ports 5-8 and so on) as an E port. If the first port in the group is configured as a PortChannel, the other three ports in each group (ports 2-4, 6-8 and so on) are not usable and remain in the shutdown state.
    -If any of the other three ports are configured in a no shutdown state, you cannot configure the first port as a PortChannel. The other three ports continue to remain in a no shutdown state.
    In the Cisco MDS 9100 Series, the left most groups of ports outlined in white (4 ports in the 9120 switch and 8 ports in the 9140 switch) are full line rate like the 16-port switching module. The other ports (16 ports in the 9120 switch and 32 ports in the 9140 switch) are host-optimized like the 32-port switching module. Each group of 4 host-optimized ports have the same rules as for the 32-port switching module.
