Try using FireFox. IE will only run on a Mac if you run Windows on the Mac.

You aren't being left in any lurch. Your hardware is obsolete, and the software world has moved on. If you have a qualm about the matter then discuss it with the software's developers. Apple is not responsible for software they do not develop. This is technology, and you will just need to get used to it.

Windows Server 2012r2 Essentials - Dashboard - Server Folder and Hard Drives Not Showing..

Hi,
Following the last series of Windows updates, I'm experiencing problems with our WS2012R2 Essentials server. When opening the Dashboard, the 'home:getting started' tab shows all correct except 'server folders n/a'. On checking the Storage tab, the normal
display for 'server folders' and 'hard drives' just shows 'refreshing list of items'.
Despite symptoms above, Storage Space and Server Folders show correctly in server Windows Explorer and are available to client computers across the LAN. It just appears that for some reason the Dashboard cannot see them.
One other related symptom I've noted is that for some reason the 'wsestoragesvc' Windows Server Essentials Storage Service no longer starts automatically. Even when started manually Dashboard symptoms remain - server folders and hard drives aren't visible
on dashboard.
I've run sfc /scannow to check for problems - all clear and run chkdsk on the system volume.
Would welcome ideas on what steps to be taken to fix problem. Many thanks..

The issue could be due to a custom service knocks on effect on the Windows Server Essentials Storage Service and causes the service no longer starts automatically.

Is there a newer version than 3.6.25 that will work with windows 7 and 16 bit?

Hi I am using firefox 3.6.25 version it works fine but certain wesites are not supporting this version anymore they want me to upgrarde to a newer version but I can't. Everytime I use any other version of firefox I get an error from Sendoria saying that the website has been blocked or that there is an error in the way I typed the website address in. Well, let's hope that nothing was jiggled out of place when you were installing the new hard drive. Your optical drive may just be out of alignment or the disc you have is "dirty." Get a lint-free cloth and some rubbing alcohol, then clean the disc as thoroughly as you can starting from the center and working outward in a concentric circlular motion. See if that helps. In particular clean the inner portion well.
If this does not help, then you have a problem. You have opened the computer yourself. That action voids all support from Apple. If you take the computer in for service the store may refuse to service the computer. This is not related to your now expired warranty.

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

Motherboard SATA ports and Hard Drives?

Do the SATA ports of the motherboard support hard drives? If so what drives?
I just tried three different drives connected to the those ports. 2 drives would not allow me to even boot. 1 (the original MacPro drive) would allow me to boot but was freezing the computer.
I am booting off the regular drive connectors not the motherboard ports.

You might, it is a tight fit getting those in, but I've done it twice now.
Or the external case and cables. I'm sure somewhere along the way I forgot to hookup the cables inside a drive case and had to make sure it was getting power, spinning up, and the data cable and jumpers (scsi) was set correctly.
