PCA Values are Zero in KEAT

Dear Experts,
I am using New GL Profit Centers. In KEAT activity all values are comparing properly I mean COPA to SD to FI. But PCA values are showing Zero values... I had checked in FI level all values are flowing to PCA properly through Document Splitting.
How can I get PCA values in KEAT.
Regards,
Balalji Bhonsle.

Hi Balaji
KEAT shows EC-PCA values as far as I know... If you are using New GL PCA and have inactive EC-PCA, those values are not applicable to you
If COPA to SD to FI are OK, then you should be satisfied

  • Forecasting: all historical values are zero

    Hello,
I would like to execute forecast for a specific material.
Then I'm in MM02 in forecasting view, I filled all necessary parameters and I press "execute forecasts".
I received different pop ups, and one is "Between 11.2006 and 10.2011 all historical values are zero".
If I go out of this, and press on "Consumption vals", I have no data for unplanned consumption but if I click on "Total consumption", I got all values for each period of my historical periods.
So why do I have this message that historical values are zero? Then I have no chance to execute forecast with that behavior.
    Same with several other materials.
    Thanks for help.

    Dear Olivia,
In MM of forecasting view there is filed Hist. periods which you could have probably maintain more than 12 months say 60. So starting from current months it will go backward & search value for last 60 months. In your case it is not finding any past values. Have you maintain it in Additional data of material master Consumption tab ? Maintain some values for months & then try

  • How to hide rows if all values are Zero  (0) horizontally?

    Hi,
I have got a requirement to hide rows from the results if all values are equal to zero horizontally.
    Example:
    Region   M1    M2   M3
    East     0      0    3
    West    10     20    0
    South   -5      0    5
North    0      0    0In the above example only North Region row should be hidden from the results becasue all the measures values are zero.
Can someone please let me know the logic to achieve this?
    Thank in advance.

    Hi Karthik,
Your answer was spot on(you are awarded points) but not my question. My client uses some X erp, which removes all zero value records when he clicks to see results. He wanted the same thing for Answers (he does not want to add any filters). Is there anyway to achive that, like using javascript or something?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Conditional suppress only if all column values are zero

I would like to suppress whole column if dbfield value is 0.00. I was able to suppress it in common tab of format field by using formula if dbfield =0.00 then true else false.
But i would like to suppress column value only when all the values in column are equal to 0.00. Otherwise I would like to retain those 0.00.
Let me know how I can do this?
    Your response is appreciated

Go to "Format Field...", select the Common tab, and put something like the following in the Suppress formula.
    Maximum({dbField}) = 0

  • Planning layout - If all KFs are Zero in Actual Cube

I have created two cubes, actuals and planning cubes. Created a planning layout in Multi planning area.
In the layout settings, i have selected , select from transactional Data option.
There are lot of entries in Actuals cube, for which all the Key figure values are zero.
However, i would like to show records also in the layout, so that users can enter the plan values.
Lets say, if the last year sales are zero ( from actual cube), still users would like to do the planning for future.
Is there any workaround to display those records from actuals cube for which all the key figure values are zero ?

I know, where to make the setting. Since we have 200000 products and 5000 customers, we would not want to select all possible combinations.
I would be interested writing a FOX formula  ( 2nd part of Andrey's solution).
Anyway, i have figured out the workaround.  I have just increased the number of decimal places in one KF. If all the KFs are Zero, in the cube transformation, i am changing the zero to 0,0001.
In the layout, i am displaying only 2 decimals.
    It is working as expected.
    Thanks a lot.....

  • BEx Analyzer: Display values with Zero data

    Hi,
I urgently need to know something about BEx QD/Analyzer:
If I drilldown e.g. Customer into the rows, it only shows me those customers for which there are values in place. However, I need to see all Customers, i.e. also the ones where the values are zero.
How can I do this in Bex Analyzer or if needed BEx QD.
    Thanks
    Sabine

    Thanks,
but it won't be possible to create a multiprovider just for that.
    Maybe I wasn't clear enough
If a have Customer A, Cust B and Cust C and I drilldown by customer in the rows, then the system only shows me Cust B and Cust C, because for a there has been e.g. no turnover in one specific month.
But in the drilldown in the report, I still want to see Cust A as well, even though the value is zero. So I should just see an empty line (instead of the key figures for Cust A).
Guys, that must be possible!! Help me

  • Crystal Report 2011 does not display when keyfigures are zero

I am using Crystal report 2011 with BEX Queries as Data Source. I am not able to see some of the characteristics values when keyfigures are zero or null. In BEX query there is a costCenter Characterstic, few costcenter characteristics values are zero for some months but BEX Query is designed to show as spaces even if the keyfigures are zero for those costcenters. When I am using the same Bex Query with Crystal report 2011 all the costcenters with keyfigures as zero are not showing up on the report. Can anybody suggest how I can show the characterstics values even if all the keyfigures are zero. (I have not selected any kind of suppression in section expert in crystal report), (In Bex Query CostCenter- Properties-Advanced----Access Type for Result values are set to Master Data)

    Hi,
Have you made sure the correct Transport files have been loaded on the SAP system? Since you're using CR 2011, you need to make sure the Transports that come with this version of CR are present on the SAP system.
Could you see if the workaround mentioned in SAP Note: 1391673 works for you?
Here's a snippet of the SAP Note:
SAP Development team of BW BEX MDX Interface suggest the following implementation:
Since Crystal Reports is not correctly interpreting the character used to represent NULL values (by default the value: X) please use the Customizing transaction: RSCUSTV4 to change the sent value.
Please note, this is a Global setting, and will also modify the behaviour in BEx application.
WORKAROUND: Create a formula field based on the selection that always returns a number - converting null to 0.
Create a formula in BEx for the KF.
    Edit the Selection
Edit the formula to behave like:
    COUNT ('KF') * 'KF' + 0
    ('RKF' + 0) * 1
Not generally acceptable since it requires duplicating fields.
Also, business may not accept 0,00 for a NULL result.
    Hope this helps!

  • Select only records where column values are not all equal to zero

Hi everyone, this seems so easy but it's got me stumped on finding a clean, easy way to accomplish this. I'm sure when someone responds, I'll kick myself. So, assume the following is what I've got:
    with mytable as (
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'JAN' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'FEB' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'MAR' as monthname, 5 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'APR' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'MAY' as monthname, 4 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'JUL' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'AUG' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'SEP' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'OCT' as monthname, 7 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'NOV' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'DEC' as monthname, 2 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'JAN' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'FEB' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'MAR' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'APR' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'MAY' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'OCT' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'NOV' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'DEC' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual
    select
      itemtype,
sum (case monthname when 'JAN' then theval else 0 end) as JAN,
sum (case monthname when 'FEB' then theval else 0 end) as FEB,
sum (case monthname when 'MAR' then theval else 0 end) as MAR,
sum (case monthname when 'APR' then theval else 0 end) as APR,

sum (case monthname when 'SEP' then theval else 0 end) as SEP,
sum (case monthname when 'OCT' then theval else 0 end) as OCT,
sum (case monthname when 'NOV' then theval else 0 end) as NOV,
sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then theval else 0 end) as DEC
    from mytable
    group by itemtype
order by itemtypeI need an outer query around this one or something that will only select "Type 1"... i.e., if all of the months are each equal to zero, don't include the record in the result set.
Summing them to get a total of zero is not an option, as I could have -15 and +15 in different columns, in which case, that record would need to be displayed.
Something as simple as... "where not (oct = 0 and nov = 0 and dec = 0...) at the end is all I seem to need. I've thought about adding a case clause for each column, but that doesn't seem very efficient. Ideas?
    Thanks in advance!
    Mark
Edit... I know the following will work using the MINUS operator, but my real query is really huge, and I don't want to have to write it twice...
    {code}
    select
    itemtype,
sum (case monthname when 'JAN' then theval else 0 end) as JAN,
sum (case monthname when 'FEB' then theval else 0 end) as FEB,
sum (case monthname when 'MAR' then theval else 0 end) as MAR,
sum (case monthname when 'APR' then theval else 0 end) as APR,
sum (case monthname when 'MAY' then theval else 0 end) as MAY,
sum (case monthname when 'JUN' then theval else 0 end) as JUN,
sum (case monthname when 'JUL' then theval else 0 end) as JUL,
sum (case monthname when 'AUG' then theval else 0 end) as AUG,
sum (case monthname when 'SEP' then theval else 0 end) as SEP,
sum (case monthname when 'OCT' then theval else 0 end) as OCT,
sum (case monthname when 'NOV' then theval else 0 end) as NOV,
sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then theval else 0 end) as DEC
    from mytable
    group by itemtype
    minus
    select
    itemtype,
    jan,feb,mar,apr,may,jun,jul,aug,sep,oct,nov,dec
    from (
    select
    itemtype,
sum (case monthname when 'JAN' then theval else 0 end) as JAN,
sum (case monthname when 'FEB' then theval else 0 end) as FEB,
sum (case monthname when 'MAR' then theval else 0 end) as MAR,
sum (case monthname when 'APR' then theval else 0 end) as APR,
sum (case monthname when 'MAY' then theval else 0 end) as MAY,
sum (case monthname when 'JUN' then theval else 0 end) as JUN,
sum (case monthname when 'JUL' then theval else 0 end) as JUL,
sum (case monthname when 'AUG' then theval else 0 end) as AUG,
sum (case monthname when 'SEP' then theval else 0 end) as SEP,
sum (case monthname when 'OCT' then theval else 0 end) as OCT,
sum (case monthname when 'NOV' then theval else 0 end) as NOV,
sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then theval else 0 end) as DEC
    from mytable
    group by itemtype
    where ( oct = 0 and nov = 0 and dec = 0 and jan = 0 and feb = 0 and mar = 0
    and apr = 0 and may = 0 and jun = 0 and jul = 0 and aug = 0 and sep = 0
    order by itemtype
    {code}
Edit again... Ok, I guess I'm answering my own question here, but I think using a WITH clause to write the main query once and then selecting * from it twice using the MINUS operator in between where the second query has where (oct = 0, etc.) is what I need. If anyone else has better suggestions, please do let me know! Here's the pseudo logic for what I've come up with so far...
    {code}
    WITH mainquery as (select everything)
    select * from mainquery
    minus
    select * from mainquery where (oct = 0, nov = 0, etc...)
    {code}
    Thanks again!

    Hi,
You can do that with a HAVING clause:
    select
      itemtype,
sum (case monthname when 'JAN' then theval else 0 end) as JAN,
sum (case monthname when 'FEB' then theval else 0 end) as FEB,
sum (case monthname when 'MAR' then theval else 0 end) as MAR,
sum (case monthname when 'APR' then theval else 0 end) as APR,
sum (case monthname when 'MAY' then theval else 0 end) as MAY,
sum (case monthname when 'JUN' then theval else 0 end) as JUN,
sum (case monthname when 'JUL' then theval else 0 end) as JUL,
sum (case monthname when 'AUG' then theval else 0 end) as AUG,
sum (case monthname when 'SEP' then theval else 0 end) as SEP,
sum (case monthname when 'OCT' then theval else 0 end) as OCT,
sum (case monthname when 'NOV' then theval else 0 end) as NOV,
sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then theval else 0 end) as DEC
    from mytable
    group by itemtype
    HAVING      MIN (theval)     != 0
    OR      MAX (theval)     != 0
    order by itemtype
;If the values are all 0, then the MIN and the MAX will both be 0.
If either the MIN or the MAX is not 0, then the values are not all 0.
This assumes that the combination (itemtype, monthname) is unique, as it is in your sample data.
If that's not the case, start with a subquery that GROUPs BY itemtype, monthname, so that, when you get to the main query, that combination will be unique.

    Hi Friends,
Closing Balance values are perfectly showing but opening balance values are going to Not Assingned Values? I am not able to find it out.
our query is built on PCA Daily Multiprovider.
    Pls Help.
    Thanks
    Asim

    Hi Ravish,
    Here are the details
Stock values and quantities in the PCA cube of BW never show correctly at an article level due to an opening balance issue.  This reduces our ability to report on stocks at moving average price, i.e. anything that actually matches the financial values in the system. The issue arises because stock at the beginning of the year (quantity and value) for any site is only shown against an article of "Not assigned."  Stock movements during the year are shown against the appropriate article.(If you have a new site, the will have stock assigned against an article up until 31 December and then the 31 December values are shown against "not assigned" for the next year).

  • Posting Unplanned Depreciation when asset net book value is zero

We recently transferred some assets from one company code to another.  However, when they transferred, the depreciation all reversed out YTD.
We are now trying to post the YTD depreciation back in under the original company code, but when we try posting unplanned depreciation, the following error message appears -
"In area 01, you can only post manual dep. up to the amount 0.00"
I believe this is because the asset does not have any net book value now.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
    Many thanks,

    Hi Susan,
do you have the option to reverse the transfer postings? If so, you could specify another period control for transfer postings (such as fiscal year start, etc.) in your depreciation key, with which you can influence how much depreciation is left back respectively transferred.
It is correct that you can´t post an unplanned depreciation on the sending asset now, because the net book value would go below zero. As unplanned depreciation does not influence the ordinary depreciation in the year of posting, this value below zero can not be adjusted with a reduction of planned ordinary depreciation.
I am wondering which effect you´d like to have on the sending asset. Did you post a complete retirement? If so, there should be no APC left which you can depreciate on the sending asset. And as the net book value is zero already, which effect do you want to get? You have to keep in mind that the non-depreciated APC will be continued to depreciate (normally) on the receiving asset. But maybe I misunderstood the problem here ...

Doesn't WebADI drive you insane at times?
I must say, when it's all working it looks great and it is very user friendly (end-user that is, NOT for developers!) but before you get to that stage… please please Oracle invest some time making Web ADI a bit more logical an coherent, get the obvious bugs out, please let us not have to update BNE tables anymore to get things done.
Anyway, I sorted this one out by setting the Width to zero (0) in the Layout. HTH.

I recently upgraded to new iMac and migrated my MacOffice 2008 and now find that all my date data is forced into the American date format (mm/dd/yy). I have phoned Apple support  - no help! Microsoft no online help. Not only is the entry data changed but I have to use the awkward data entry format of mm/dd/yy very unnatural to a non American.
I have searched in Excel preferences and confirmed my OS X 10.10 settings (languages and date formats) all using dd/mm/yy as input and display.

You start with numbers not dates. You convert those numbers to dates when you can and every time you need to use them, which is why it would be better to store dates in the first place.
You cannot assign either 0 or spaces to a date variable because neither 0 or space is a valid date. You should probably assign it to null.
