For the last 3 weeks my itunes is not working ' itunes was not installed correctly please reinstall error 7 ". and quicktime isen't wokring either ' pleas install apple application support here is a list of thinks that i'v tried to do.
1) downloaded revo installer pro ( 30 days trial ). and deleted everything apple and than reinstalled itunes.
2) downloaded winrar to download apple aplication support.
3) updated everything in my windows update exept for ' windows 7 pack 1 x64 systems ( kb976932 ) because my battery needs to get replaced but i can't buy that untill next month ( i'm in college ).

First of all im from Estonia so im sorry about my bad english. The thing is that i wanted to sell my iphone 3gs, but when i erased all content and settings my battery went so low it shut down. So i tryed to turn iphone on while it was charging and only thing i saw was apple logo loading. Then, when it was loaded it restarted and came apple logo without loading and then again with loading and so on. Then i thought i can update my iphone or something with itunes and i plugged in to my computer and itunes cant find it either. And i thought maybe it needs to load for a long time so i left it to load for about 18 hrs. And its still loading ... So people please help me! Thank you.

You will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work. HP's web page on the subject is here.

I got this Error everytime the scene is reseted. I have no clue where mistake is made. Please help!

Try adding the following two lines before line 59:

If one of them traces undefined, it should isolate which object is the problem. If you describe what is involved with that object.child, then it may help generate an idea of what might be wrong.

but dont think thats usefullI disagree. This tells you that there is an Array Index that is out of bounds in line 24 of the login java file. So, what you need to do is to find the 24th line of the java file, look at what code you are trying to execute, (here is a hint: as per the italicized error line, the line calls a setInt method in PreparedStatement).
So why would one of the indexes you use in setInt method calls become out of bounds? Look at the PreparedStatement, and count the number of question marks. Then note that one of those question marks is different then the rest? So how would you fix that, you think?

In standard database terminology it is not possible to "connect" to a MS Access database at all. Thus one certainly can't do it remotely.
The ODBC (nothing to to with java) for MS Access requires OS file access to the MS Access database file.
So if you have box A and the database file is on box B the the java application must be running in a context (user) such that a mapped drive of some sort exists from A to B. And the ODBC definition must specify that file path.

And welcome to Apple Discussions!
Have you tried a simple reset of the iPod yet? To do this, toggle the hold switch on and off, then press and hold the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together until the Apple logo appears. If it doesn't work the first time keep trying.
Otherwise, if still no response, you may have to wait for the iPod's battery to fully drain. Once it has, let it charge long enough to power on and once it has, go ahead and restore it via iTunes.

Make a note of how fast it happens and motion of the albums that go up and down the screen?4. Now play a song and repeat steps 2 and 3. My question, is the speed and control of the rapid scroll when in play mode... a) the same as it is when not in play mode?b) more sluggish, going down the screen appearing to skip albums to get to bottom faster...isn't as smooth when not playing music. c) don't know?Your results will mean a lot and all feedback is appreciated!

I guess I could try it.... but whats the point of this dude??Ok well I tried it, and the first time whithout the song it was smooth! And then when i started playing the song at a volume of 5 and went down (using my thumb at the bottom of the pad each time to rapid scroll) it did get a little choppy, and it dose skip letters (if you are doing all tracks). But this is understandable, if the player is doing two things at once it has to process more which would cause the reaction time to slow, and make it more choppy!Message Edited by Boxy on 04-0-200707:44 PM

Help - I need security help

I have been subject to internet fraud and I am keen to find out how to secure my G4 .
I have had a look around on this site and have seen the Master Password which is to do with Filevault, I currently do not have a Master Password set up, I have found how to do this, but I don't really understand what it does, is this enough security?
I also have read about Firefox, how do I know if I have this?
please can someone explain in really simple terms ( I am not technically minded at all!) what I need to do to be a secure as possible.

Hi,
Firefox won't make you more secure it's just an alternative to Safari. You could encrypt your home folder (when the Master Password would be set) but frankly that really doesn't matter for Internet security. Here are some general tips:
Ensure that your Mac OS X Firewall is on. This prevents Internet connections from accessing your computer. On Panther it's on  menu > System Preferences... > Sharing > Firewall. Deselect all the options you don't use and enable stealth mode in the Advanced button.
Use different passwords for all your various accounts online, i.e. ebay account, AppleID, amazon account etc. You can store these securely in Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access so you don't have to remember them yourself.
Ensure that you are on a secure site (addresses start https:// and you see a padlock in the top right hand side of Safari) before you enter banking or credit card info.
Regularly check  menu > Software Update for security patches, although Panther (10.3) is rarely updated now because it is so robust.
Keep your personal details to yourself.
Don't respond to emails asking you for banking details. If you're unsure of any site log-in using a deliberately wrong username/password: if it allows you in, its a false site.
Don't download and install any software that you are not confident of the origins of. MacUpdate.com or versiontracker.com both list nearly every bit of Mac software - if it's not on there then take care.
Create a non-admin OS X user account for your day-to-day use, using OS X in the Admin account potentially allows malicious software more freedom.
Well that's a few for starters. Without any specific details could you allude to what specific issue you encountered so we can target advice.
If you share an Internet connection, share the Mac, have a wireless router/Airport Base Station, please do say as there are other things to consider.

HELP I need some help choosing the right laptop

Hello there. I am a student and I am looking to buy a Apple laptop. I have around 700GBP to spend, but I do not wish to spend all of that. As I do not use Macs that often I dont think I need the newer Macbooks or the Macbook Pros as I feel that it is a waste of power. My friend said the 12" Powerbook was the way to go. There are several different models out there and I was wondering if anyone could help me choose one. It will be used mostly for word processing and admin based work, but I would like to have enough power to be able to run some graphic based activities. I wont be using high level apps that much but it would be nice to know if the opportunity was there, then i I have sufficient power to be able to run them. My friend said an 867mhz G4 with upgraded hdd and ram would do the trick, but I have found out that the specs range all the way up to 1.5ghz. I like the look of the powerbook and I have heard they are more reliable than an ibook which is why I dont really want to choose one of those. Thanks for any help!

The biggest advantage of the 12PB is its portability, but you didn't include that in your specs.
The graphics are very good for the small screen. If you need more intense graphics you should consider a larger screen.
I use mine for mostly word processing and e-mail. I am also the IT guy in my small office and I manage networked PCs from my PB. I use an external monitor and screen spanning for extra work area. I thought long and hard before I bought my PB, as I had used PCs extensively all my life. The configuration that was recommended to you will work fine.
