Hello i need help!
For the last 3 weeks my itunes is not working ' itunes was not installed correctly please reinstall error 7 ". and quicktime isen't wokring either ' pleas install apple application support here is a list of thinks that i'v tried to do.
1) downloaded revo installer pro ( 30 days trial ). and deleted everything apple and than reinstalled itunes.
2) downloaded winrar to download apple aplication support.
3) updated everything in my windows update exept for ' windows 7 pack 1 x64 systems ( kb976932 ) because my battery needs to get replaced but i can't buy that untill next month ( i'm in college ).
please please please! help me i don't know annything about all this!

If your iPhone can't be updated to a higher iOS version then the only way to get them is if you downloaded versions of them which were compatible with iOS 4.2.1 and you still have copies of those versions somewhere e.g. on your computer or on a backup - only the current version of each app is available in the store, and as apps (and other content) are tied to the account that downloads them, you will need to have older copies that are linked to your id

In the article Resolve iOS update and restore errors this is what it says about error 14:
Check your USB connections
Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014, or “invalid response."
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you may be unable to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
If necessary, resolve any further issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you're still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section. -
please,I need your help ! I was updating my iphone ios to ios4.2 and then problems begins when it shows that it needs to restore the factory software to I was trying to restore ,but that didn't happen it begins restoring but then it shows unknown error 1015

You cannot downgrade.
If you have a 3GS, you can only install iOS 6.1.3 which is the current version of iOS for the device. -

If you followed these instructions and you were unable to enter recovery mode, I'm still leaning toward a hardware problem. Also, since you have IOS-7, read this. It might help.

No one here can help you, nor can/will Apple. If you don't know the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate this phone, you won't be able to re-activate it. And, if the previous owner tells you that he/she doesn't know it, you're out of luck. You simply won't be able to use the phone for anything other than a paperweight.

I'm not suggesting anything. Your options are:
Start over. It'll take anywhere between a few days and a few months depending on your CD collection
Go to a CD ripping agency. It'll take a day or two, and they charge about a buck or two a CD.
Go to a data recovery agency. They charge a few hundred dollars an hour. -

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
My iPad2 is frozen at slide to unlock screen, every few minutes the apple appears in the middle of the screen and couple of minutes later it will go back on freeze to the slide to unlock screen . I have tried all tricks even the restoration through iTunes which I was never able to complete because of the apple screen; iTunes thinks I am resetting my iPad and the restoration get aborted.
Please help, I can't even turn it off.Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times. -

Hi. I am currently writing a program to measure temperature by converting voltages into Kelvins, and here is my set up:
I have my thermocouple wires (type K) connected to the Omega cold junction compensator which is connected directly to the Data Acquisition card (ai-2 and ai-ground). In my DAQ Assist. (Analog input as voltage), I have my min set at -10 volts and my max set at 10 volts, collecting about 100 sample at 1000 (Hz). The output of this is then connected to the converting thermocouple reading.vi with settings as below:
Temperature unit: Kelvin and Type: K. The results that I got was about 273 Kelvins (this was measure at room temperature). What am I doing wrong?
I also tried another method. I have my thermocouple wires (type K) connected to the Omega cold junction compensator which is connected directly to the Data Acquisition card (ai-2 and ai-ground). In my DAQ Assist. (Analog input as Temperature: Thermocouple). I set the temperature range from -270 degree Cels. to 1372 degree Cels., type K, and I also tried setting the CJC constant at 0, 23, and 25 but everytime the temperature turns out to be about 3372 degree Cel. What am I doing wrong here?A typical cold junction compensator just adds a cold junction reference. Your voltages are still thermoelectric voltages of a few millivolts. +- 10V is probably way too insensitive.

I am having problem in configuring reverse proxy web server 6.1 on which my policy agent is also sitting.
Now i am using NameTrans fn=redirect from=/appl url=http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011 in obj.conf.
Now the redirection works fine.
That is when from a browser i try to access http://sol9.team.xtra.co.nz:8001/appl then it gets redirected to http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011/appl
Appllcation which i am trying to protect is http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011/appl
Now since i can't have the policy agent on that so i have setup reverse proxy on sun web server 6.1
Sun Web Server 6.1 - http://sol9.team.xtra.co.nz:8001
Have configured the reverse proxy on this web server and the only change i made in the obj.conf is
NameTrans fn=redirect from=/appl url=http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011
So now when from a browser when i type http://sol9.team.xtra.co.nz:8001/appl then it gets redirected to http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011.
Now how do i protect http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011 with the policy agent.
In AMagent.Properties files what do i need to protect -

Do i need to protect http://sol9.team.xtra.co.nz:8001/appl which will redirect to AM login page for Authentication and authorization and then the reverse proxy will do the redirect to http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011/appl.
Cause after all i need to protect the application on http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011/appl
Please i need your help.
Is the flow correct-
1. User tries to access http://sol9.team.xtra.co.nz:8001/appl
2. AM Login page comes and authentication and authorziation happens
3. After successful authentication and authorziation Reverse proxy will come into picture and redirect to http://yahoo.team.xtra.co.nz:1011/appl which will now be accessible without again asking for authentication and authorziation
