PLSQL api to get current URL

I am looking for a PLSQL API to return the URL Of the currently displayed page ie an equivalent to the JPDK call to PortletRenderRequest.getPageURL().
Thanks

Hi David,
The portlet_runtime_record passed to the show procedure in the portlet package (called p_portlet_record in the PDK examples) has a field page_url, that contains the URL of the page.

  • How to get current URL from Internet Explorer ?

    Hi,
    I have design an add-on for IE and I'm
    trying to get URL from IE which is currently opened that is which is currently user sees. Is there any way to get it? I want to store that address in label and use it for something useful. Is it possible with C# ?
    I have did the following code to get current URL but it showing last opened URL instead of current URL which is user see
    using SHDocVw;
           SHDocVw.ShellWindows shellWindows = new SHDocVw.ShellWindows();
                         string filename;
                         foreach (SHDocVw.InternetExplorer ie in shellWindows)
                             filename = Path.GetFileNameWithoutExtension(ie.FullName).ToLower();
                             if (filename.Equals("iexplore"))
                               label1.Text=ie.LocationURL;
                               label1.Text = ie.LocationName;
    and I have tried this one also
    foreach (InternetExplorer ie innew ShellWindows())
       label1.Text = ie.LocationURL.ToString();
       label2.Text = ie.LocationName.ToString();
    Please give me any suggestion or code to solve this problem.
    Thanks.
    Priyanka

    You already got addon running in the active ie instance. You just need to catch the WindowStateChanged event in every instance so you can write down the last event with OLECMDIDF_WINDOWSTATE_USERVISIBLE somewhere. When you need the active IE instance, just
    pull from your save.
    Note an IE tab may crash and take your addon with it. It is better to start a broker process to store your global data.

  • Get current URL no matter who is the user

    Hi
    I'm creating a custom passord page using a Form based on procedure.
    How can I get current URL no matter who is the user ?
    I read previous message where it was recommneded to use WWPOB_PAGE$. Unfortunately, that table show the object compile under PORTAL30 user. We use another user to create or manage our pages.
    Any idea ?
    Thank

    that's usually the root user - follow the instructions here to disable it. The same steps apply in Mavericks.

    how can I get the url of my flash.swf file from action script
    i.e. this.getUrl();

    Hi,
    This will give u the current application url
    try {
    WDDeployableObjectPart part = wdThis.wdGetAPI().getComponent().getApplication().getDeployableObjectPart();
    String appPath =WDURLGenerator.getApplicationURL(part);
    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("AppPath"+appPath);

  • URG: How can i get current URL in PL/SQL?

    Hello,
    i need to get the URL of a page in order to read the parameters i pass from a page to another page.
    The owa_util.get_cgi_env('QUERY_STRING'); function doesn't work properly, so i'd like to know if there is a standard portal pl/sql function that return the current URL.
    In particular i know the wwpro_api_parameters package, but i have some pages without any portlets inside.
    For example:
    if a URL has these parameters: http://.......?empno=10&deptno=20
    can i use the "get_value" function in a custom procedure?
    l_value :=wwpro_api_parameters.get_value
    ('empno','p_reference_path');
    Does anybody know how to do that? and what do i have to put in the p_reference_path?
    Thanks in advance

  • Get current URL from PL/SQL Package in Portal

    Hello, anyone knows the magic code to get the URL of current Web page from a package running from inside the same page?
    Thx

    You can use the page_url field of the portlet runtime record.

  • Can't get current URL in IE7 !!!

    For some reason,
    ExternalInterface.call("window.location.href.toString") to get the
    URLof the current active page doesn't work under Internet Explorer
    7. (Adding an id doesn't seam to do the trick... although i am not
    sure what value to give to this id) See code ...
    I created a simple swf file with a simple actionscript on the
    first frame to demonstrate the problem. Using the html code i also
    paste below, you can reproduce in less than 1 min.

  • API call to get FULL URL

    I can't seem to find an API call to simply return the full url of the current page.
    I just want to do the simplest (at least I think it should be simple) thing: Call a stored procedure (from a portlet) passing the current full url to the procedure. Nothing fancy.
    Is there such a thing? Hopefully, I have just overlooked it...
    TIA

    I've used two different methods to get the url of the page a portlet is currently on depending on the type of portlet it is.
    In a portal component's Additional PL/SQL Code section, use p_page_url. Example:
    BEGIN
    htp.p(p_page_url);
    END;In a custom PL/SQL portlet, use p_portlet_record.page_url. Example:
    schema.procedurename(p_portlet_record.page_url);

  • How to get full url using UCM RIDC api

    Hi,
    I am using RIDC api to get the full url of the document (including protocol, host, port info). I tried using DOC_INFO
    and GET_SEARCH_RESULTS api. The GET_SEARCH_RESULTS api returns the path but no protocol, host, port info.
    DOC_INFO does not contain any uri. Is there a way to get full url? I only have access to the idc socket connection
    configuration to connect to the server.
    E.g. I know the idc connection url is idc://hostname:4444
    The user supplies document name as "myDoc.txt" and dId = 2000.
    I used GET_SEARCH_RESULTS for myDoc.txt and DOC_INFO for dId=2000.
    I need to return absolute url to the user that user can copy paste in the browser and download the doc.
    Thanks,
    --dhiraj

    You can ge the docUrl using doc info services DOC_INFO or DOC_INFO_BY_NAME.
    dataBinder.putLocal("IdcService", "DOC_INFO");
    dataBinder.putLocal("dID", docId);
    ServiceResponse response = idcClient.sendRequest (idcContext, dataBinder);
    DataBinder respBinder = response.getResponseAsBinder();
    System.out.println("DocUrl"+ respBinder.getLocal("DocUrl"));

  • API to retrieve current pageid or URL?

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell if there is an API to retrieve the current pageid or current URL?
    thanks
    Stijn

    If you are using PDK Java APIs, you could do PortletRenderRequest.getRenderContext().getPageURL() to retrieve the current page URL. Perhaps somebody can point us to the corresponding PL/SQL APIs.

    Can anyone please help me

    Actually i'm using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 and our requirement is to show list of BPM worklist tasks for the logged in user on the first page and onclick of each task task details page should be opened. I can use Webcenter PS3 worklist taskflow. But i'm not able to customize that taskflow. So, i'm going for Worklist client api.
    I'm able to retrive the taskId,task title and few other details like task payload. But i don't know why the below method is giving exception.
    String url =
    WorklistUtil.getTaskDisplayURL(wfSvcClient,
    ctx, task, null,
    "worklist", parameters);
    And i observed that you have also used the same code for getting Taskdetails url. And one more thing is i'm trying to access BPM worklist which is installed on remote machine.
    Can you tell me what could be the reason for the exception?

  • Get the url address of current form

    Hi,
    Any one knows how to get the url address of the current form ?
    Thanks.
    Ivan

    You can probably use Java Script at in the html which starts the form then pass the value into the form using a user define Form's parameter.

  • WebUtil getting the URL of the current form

    Hi after reading through the documentation on WebUtil I am not sure whether the utility will allow you to get the URL that is in the browser that the user is using to display the Oracle Form that it is running from. I need this as I have to issue web.show_document commands based on the users URL and need to know the URL to figure out which server they have come from in order to issue a web.show_document command with a URL that the user will be able to read. Does anyone know if this is possible or other ways of achieving the same result
    Also has anyone got an unsupported version of WebUtil for Forms 6i as I am currently on AIX 4.3.3 and need to get our Unix teams to upgrade to AIX 5 before I can even start to think about Forms9i/10g and Oracle 9i/10g
    regards,
    [email protected]

    Mark,
    wweb.show_document() can take relative Web addresses too, which means that automatically the server that the Forms was downloaded from will be referref by the URL. Assuming
    http://myserv1:9999/forms90/f90servlet...
    is the address you started Forms Services on,
    web.show_document('/mydir/mytest.html','_blank');
    requets for a URL
    http://myserv1:9999/mydir/mytest.html
    So in fact you don't need to know of the URL.
    WebUtil does not provide this functionality, but it would be easy to add. So let me know if my suggestion using web.show_document() doesn't work as you want it and I'll add this as an ER for WebUtil.

  • How to get current task ID in BPM

    Hi guys,
    I have a requirement where I need to get the current active UWL task id in BPM context. I  have seen the following code to create a direct execution url for a BPM task.
    // begin session
          IUWLSession uwlSession;
          uwlSession = uwlService.beginSession(uwlContext, sessionIdleTimeout);
          uwlContext.setSession(uwlSession);
          IUWLItemManager itemManager = uwlService.getItemManager(uwlContext);
          QueryResult result = itemManager.getItems(uwlContext, null, null);
          ItemCollection items = result.getItems();
          Item item = null;
          for (int i = 0; i < items.size(); i++) {
            item = items.get(i);
            Map params = new HashMap();
            params.put("taskId", item.getExternalId());
            String executionURL = WDURLGenerator.getApplicationURL("sap.com/tc~bpem~wdui~taskinstance", "ATaskExecution", params);
    This works fine, but this is looping through all the tasks assigned to a user.  How do I get the current task ID. I want to use the code inside webdynpro application which is caled as a human activity in BPM. When this WebDynpro application is called I would like to know the current task ID.
    As an FYI , UWL configuration passes the current task ID as a Dynamic parameter to "sap.com/tcbpemwdui~taskinstance"
    application.
    Please help if someone can identify how to get this value in my custom WD.
    Thanks,
    Yomesh.

    Yes. there is no API to get the current task.
    Try this:
    WDProtocolAdapter.getProtocolAdapter().getRequestObject().getParameter("wi_id");
    But i still say a bit confused with your requirement.
    The task id gets created only upon creation of a task. And you want this current task id in the BPM Process context? How is it possible unless and until some action takes place and the data is passed from WDJ to BPM Context?
    Please clear my doubt.
