In this example the request will come in through port 80, but for it to go out by port 3500 we can add the following command port xxxx (where xxxx is the number of the port) in a service. This will allow the CSS to redirect the request to the server on the desired port.
This is just an example to let you see how and where to configurate it.

  • How can I add a redirect port, or RPT port, in Windows 7?

I'm dumbfounded.  I know in Windows XP there was an option to add a printer and select the redirection port.  Seems in Windows 7, or at least my installation, that option is missing.  I need to be able to add a redirect port to setup some
specialized printing we do here in our office.  Hope my question makes sense and I hope I have just missed something and it's really just not that it's not possible or I'm screwed!
Also I have tried the "Add New Port Type" options and it asks for a driver which I can't seems to find anywhere.  Any help is much appreciated as this has halted my Windows 7 roll out.

    Hi,
Do you mean in Windows XP, we can add a new port in File-> Server Properties-> Ports-> Add Ports?
If this is the issue, please see the information below:
    ====================================
In Windows 7, we have no Server Properties options. But we can also achieve the same goal by using the following two methods:
Method 1: Right click one of the local printers and select Printer Properties. Click Ports-> Add Port…
Method 2: In Control Panel, click Administrative Tool and select Print Management. Then open Print Servers and select the local machine. Then right click Ports and
    click Add Ports…
Hope this can have a little help.
    Best regards,
    Spencer Shi

  • Redirect Port 80

I know this is a very basic question but how do you redirect port 80?  I have an option to port forward or port trigger.
What I am trying to do is use a program called Remote Administrator.  It works locally on my network but as soon as I try to connect from outside the network it fails.  I suspect port 80 is the issue and no matter what I do it still comes up as stealth on the GRC site.  So, I port forwarded 80 (both TCP & UDP) to my local ip address that I want to connect to and no go.
Am I missing some hidden place in the router config that has redirect...
    Thanks in advance

I agree with you but someone mislead me to believe that port 80 was the problem.  I have port forwarded 4899 to my internal IP and it still does not connect.  I have tried using a no-ip program called canyouseemee to verify if the port is open but it appears to be closed.  I can connect locally but not over the internet so I assume it's a router/firewall issue.
    Any ideas?

  • Redirect port 80 to 8080

Hey I have created a simple http server, so when i type
    > curl http://localhost:8080/
    I give me the respons:
    > Hello World
now i want the same to happen when I type:
    > curl http://localhost:80/
I could do that by changen the port that the http server is lisining on but it will require that i run it as a super user and i don't want that.
I have tryed to use the ipfw command (I have vey limited knowleged about it):
    > ipfw add 100 fwd 127.0.0.1,8800 tcp from any to any 80 in
    it then says:
    > 00100 fwd 127.0.0.1,8800 tcp from any to any dst-port 80 in
    I look at the list:
    > ipfw -d -e -t -a list
    it says:
    > 00100   1     64 Thu Aug  4 14:47:51 2011 fwd 127.0.0.1,8800 tcp from any to any dst-port 80 in
    > 65535 188 33853 Thu Aug  4 14:45:39 2011 allow ip from any to any
But when i try to get a respons from my http server:
    > curl http://localhost:80/
    It says:
    > curl: (7) couldn't connect to host
I try to restart my computer and check the list again:
    > ipfw -d -e -t -a list
    It says:
    > 65535 464 111936 Thu Aug  4 14:48:39 2011 allow ip from any to any
So somehow the rule has been removed.
What can i do to redirect port 80 to 8080,

    I should have writen
sudo ipfw add 100 fwd 127.0.0.1,8080 tcp from any to me 80
I belive the important diffrent is the change from any to me in the last part.
And rules applyed to ipfw will be rested after restarting,

  • Redirecting ports on a CSS

How can I redirect a tcp/udp port through a CSS ??? I have an application running on VLAN2 and it needs to connect to a server running on VLAN3. This application first go to a vip address in the CSS, and this vip is balancing the service across TCP port 1352 in a Raptor Fw. The log in the Raptor said "Non-transparent call from x.x.x.x" ... Any susggestion ???

If you're only doing firewall loadbalancing, the CSS is not going to NAT the traffic or change any port.
Your firewalls should be doing this.
If you also have a VIP defined with services, each service representing a server, you can configure different port for each one of them.
If you still need more help, please give us an example of traffic flow with traffic before and after the CSS and what you expect to see.
    Gilles.

  • TCP/IP Printer ports - HELP PLEASE

I have a large inkjet printer that I print my graphic design to... for years it has been set up and printing just fine through an Actiontec M1424-WR-rev.D router. No setting were ever changed in the router, it just worked great right out of the box (the Verizon guys installed it). I had a small router with the cable company, but when I got the new router from Verozon the install guy said i didn't need it any more, and moved the ethernet plugs over to the new router. Everything worked fine for years... until the wireless functions started to fail (I don't use the wireless for the office, just the family), so, Verizon told me I had to replace it with a new M1242WR - rev. I router. I transfered all the cables over the the new router in exactly the same positions the were in on the old router. Now my printing software (RIP software) can't see the printer when it's routed through the FiOS router, but If I move the ethernet cable from the router and plug it into the back of my computer, which disconnects my computer from the network and gives me a dedicated ethernet connection to the printer... everything works fine. It's just when I try and run it through the router that my computer and printer can't talk to each other.
My RIP software that drives the printer demands a STATIC IP address set up in a TCP/IP printing port, and the printer is set up with the corresponding static IP address (this is unavoidable). Images of the setup screens below...
The RIP software setup is here... very simple:
Now, on the actual printer, the IP address matches (192.168.0.110), the subnet masks are 255.255.255.0, and the default gateway is set at 192-168.0.1.
This is all the info I have, and all I know is that it worked fine with no setup on the old router, and does NOT work on the new router... it used to be plug-n-play, now it's plug-n-stop.
Again, when the ethernet cable run directly from the computer it drives the printer just fine, connected to the router first and it failes completely.... HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Like I said... this has worked great for years, I haven't changed a thing on the printer or computer... the only change is the new router... I'm out of production until I figure this out (
    Cabe...

The revision I router out of the box uses the following default IP addresses
    192.168.1.x IP Address
    255.255.255.0 Subnet
    192.168.1.1 Default gateway
I notice you aren't using that IP Address scheme at all in the screen shots.  Did you change the Verizon router internal settings to use the 0.1 ip scheme?

  • GTX980 gaming 4G - Display Ports HELP ME PLEASE!!! so stressed

    Hi
today I bought this video card and 3x Benq XL2430T monitors, nearly $2500 AU dollars worth of gear
and all i can do is get 1 friggin screen working via the DVI
    I am running drivers 344.80
I have installed Benq monitor drivers
ALL the monitors show as all connected in windows Device manager and in NCP, 1 with the DVI, and 2x on Display Ports. when I try to activate the monitors plugged into the DPs via RIGHT CLICK on desktop and CHANGE RESOLUTION... I select one of the monitors on the display port and try to tell windows to extend desktop onto them, it reports "unable to save display settings" and the resolution/orientation are greyed out. if i boot with all connected as described i don't get any displays working, will only ever get 1x display of the desktop via DVI if booted with nothing plugged into DP's.
this is so stressing... not a nice way to start Holidays :(
can anyone help me out here??
I could get triples going on my old GTX590 using different monitors... i buy latest and greatest card and monitors and its all for POOH!!! ARGH!!!

    HI Nichrome
    thanks for your reply....
yes the BIOS is the latest... did it tonight (just about had a nervous breakdown in the process    )
i don't mean to be ignorant but whats the OC got to do with a connection between a monitor and a video card got to do with anything ??
i have done numerous clean installs of numerous different driver versions the ones supplied with the card, 344.75 & 344.16 & lastly the supposed HOTFIX 344.80's
tried a HDMI cable for giggles and it works fine (had DVI & HDMI going simultaneously) so its only the DP's that appear to not function properly (which i need as i want to run triples at 144mhz).  i tested all monitors separately via DVI and they all work fine. the Card is working fine if using the DVI or HDMI ports. the issue is specifically all of the DISPLAY PORTS
if i use a DP to DVI adapter do you think that would make a difference?

  • Redirect port 80 in a zone to port 8070 in a zone - IPFILTER/IPNAT

I have a non-root user running a web server on 8070 in a zone, and he wants port 80 redirected to 8070 so his URL wont have :8070 in it.
On Linux with iptables, I did:
    iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -p tcp dport 80 -j REDIRECT to-ports 8070
Works great, all traffic to port 80 is redirected to port 8070.
How can I do the same with IP Filter? I understand IP Filter has to be run in the global zone, not a problem.

DBSanders, I have a similar configuration on my research network.
    I wanted all web traffic coming to the bastion host (stargate) to be routed to 443 on my webserver (prometheus);
dmfe0 is the internal adapter, and dmfe1 is the external adapter.
So, my solution looks like this:
    stargate:/etc/ipf/ipf.conf:
pass in quick on dmfe1 from any to any port=80 keep state
pass in quick on dmfe1 from any to any port=8080 keep state
pass in quick on dmfe1 from any to any port=443 keep state
pass out quick from prometheus port=443 to any keep statestargate:/etc/ipf/ipnat.conf:
rdr dmfe1 stargate port 80 -> prometheus port 443 tcp
rdr dmfe1 stargate port 443 -> prometheus port 443 tcp
rdr dmfe1 stargate port 8080 -> prometheus port 443 tcp

  • Iframe redirect javascript help please

    Hi:
My client uses a loan application on another service's site, and I embedded the form in an iFrame to keep the user on my client's site.
At the Submit of the form, it redirects to the client's home page, but it does it within the confines of the frame -- I want the redirect to go to the "top" Home page.  Unfortunately, the offsite service cannot apply a target="_top" to the redirect link script.
    The link is http://sequoiapacificmortgage.com/loan-application/
    The service said this:
"The thank you page after the application and before the redirect URL has a unique URL.
Is it possible to code your iframe to recognize this URL and redirect the full site to your home page rather than depending on the vLender redirect within the iframe?
I am including the unique thank you page URL from Lori's website below, the ref_ID attribute is the unique application ID number assigned to my test application (the application ID's are generated using the first 3 letters of the applicant's first name [LYN for Lynsee] and the first 3 letters of the applicant's last name [TES for Testing] followed by the numeric sequence) but you should be able to remove that and have your custom site's code recognize the .php url which would trigger a redirect within your site's code that would take place before our system enacts its redirect to the home page within the iframe.
I have seen several references to Javascript to accomplish the desired redirect, but I am not sure how to construct it, nor if it can capture the presence of the mentioned URL to trigger it.
Can anyone help please?  Thanks much!
    Rgds, Ned

You are talking about JavaScript - Java and JavaScript are two completely different things. Therefore, this is not the correct area to post that question.

    HI Krinaformwa,
There may be many reasons for this problem. For instance, you may have an internet connection issues or Apple servers may be having problems. However you may also be victim of a known bug. To resolve this bug,  simply tap Settings>General>Date and Time. Set the date ahead to some time in the future. Then try to connect iTunes or App Store again.

  • SSL Redirect Port ?

    Hello All,
Im a litle confuse, and im not getting there.
I had this config scheme, and it works fine:
Every SSL Traffic is ended in SSL Module, and give it back to content as port 80.
It matchs the content HTTP-Aplj, and sends traffic to service esl0011-7777.
It works fine, with http and https.
Then i had tryed many unsucessefully times the following:
I want that http traffic goes just like the actual config, ending on backend servers on port 7777, but want the https traffic to be redirected to 4443.
I have done some trys on several parts of the configs, adding new services for 4443 port, ssl-proxy-list, and adding a new content.
I even got this message, when was trying to active the content SSL.Aplj:
%% Not all content VIP:Port combinations are configured in a ssl-proxy-list for sslAccel type of services
Please give me some ideias to achieve this goal.
The following config is the basic config for the 1st step. The working one.
    Best Regards,
    Bruno Petrónio

BTW, I also corrected your urlrewrite command as it was incorrect. You need to specify the host. So not http or https in front.
