Serial no with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

I'm using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE and it seems okay, but sometimes I got the error
"Exactly 2 serial numbers must be selected (instead of 2)"
Sometimes there a lot of messages, but the message is the same, but only the quantity that's change - but if I run the program again and again, the message disappears, so I can't debug because I don't know if the error is gone .
Anybody who knows what the problem can be?

When you do goods movement for a serial number managed material then you should have respective number of entries in table "GOODMVT_SERIALNUMBER" of the BAPI. If the quantity is 4 then you should have 4 unique entries in the table. Put a debug point before calling this BAPI, and check entries in this table. Make sure it is equal to quantity you are trying to move. Also these serial numbers should be in the stock.
If the material is not serial number managed then it is not required.

Post Goods Receipt for Inbound Delivery with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hello,
I try to post GR for an Inbound Delivey with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE and it is not working.
I know delivery number and PO number and give both to the bapi.
I am not sure how to set the movement indicator in the item.
When I set it to B.
I do get a shortdump from MB_POST_GOODS_MOVEMENT numer 143, stating that this type of movement is not allowed with this transaction
when setting to L I do get an error stating
"Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 101 X X _ L)" from message class M7.

the input for the business data is correct.
When performing the goods receipt with Migo it works.
I think the B in the movement indicator is correct, but there might be something wrong with the other data.

Need formula to take text from one cell, add that to a serial number with leading zeros

I'm trying to create a spreasdheet cell that simplifies creating videotape Numbers from a job name in cell and appends a serial number with leading zeros, and that would survive an export to EXCEL.
The result would look like

I've tried using a custom cell format that had the text in front of the (Integer) drag and drop, with three integers and leading zeros.
That worked, but requires recreating the custom cell format for each client and tape type.
So, I've used the formula =A2& in order to play around with different things, but haven't hit on something that adjusts for increased numbers and retains the leading zeros.
I don't mind doing a starter for the first row and then adding +1 in the formulas for the rows below.
I've done that using the custom cell formats for the first B cell and then using =Bx+1 in the following cells. It works, but I'm hoping to find something simpler or that can be copied and pasted in multiple rows on one paste.

If you registered the software you should be able to find the serial number thru your Adobe account online.

Migration from Serial polling to Serial queue with event handler

Hi, I am trying to migrate from classical serial polling communications to serial queue with "event handler" for the buttons pressed by the user. I have placed four while loops, one for the event handler, a second one for serial reading, a third one for serial writing (depending on what button was pressed) and the last one for processing what was read from the serial reading while loop, via a queue.
My attached device reads the signals from 8 sensor ( 4 temperature and another 4 temperature plus humidity in the same sensor ) and send them via serial to Lavbiew.
First of all, only once just after running the LV program, I must turn on my attached device with an ON command plus a carriage return after that the device will respond with the number of sensors plugged to it, disabling the corresponding buttons in the front panel. Then labview must wait until I pressed Acquire Button (event handler) and send a CF command plus what sensors to acquire plus a carriage return, then the device will respond continuously to labview with the sensor readings until I press the stop button (event handler), there is also another button to exit the program, also with event handler.
I am having problems using the event handler and the queues because I am new using these structures, I have looked at the LV examples but there is nothing concrete on using serial with event handler and queue.
Take a look at my VI and you will soon notice what kind of problems I am having, any suggestions will welcome.

Hi Luisete,
Maybe the problem arise because you are En- and DeQueue in parallel. You do a lot of things in parallel, that is nice if you are sure that one loop doesn't have to wait for another loop. Make sure you don't dequeue before enqueue.

Serializing text with component

The text is just ascii text, but it could be a considerable size (like 64k). The purpose would be to serialize, and then de-serialze all of this custom information I need for that component (and some other stuff). An example would be to save a list of names with my 'Name' component.
I don't see any evidence that it is possible...

manner (i.e. manually). Not a pretty picture in my
opnion...sure, that's why the API exists... don't take it the other way round and apply serialization to every single piece of data
why do you think that serialization is easier btw ? here's the non-serialized version :

Can i get my iphone 4 serial number with the IMEI number?

My iphone is missing/stolen (probably stolen). I'm trying to use the find my iphone app but need to add my iphone to my apple profile because it's a new phone and I hadn't done it yet. I have the IMEI number but I don't have the serial number and I guess that is what apple wants because it keeps saying the number I give them is not valid. Does anyone know if there is a why of cross referencing so that with my IMEI number I can get the serial number? OR is there anyway other than that to add my phone to my mobile me profile?

You shouldn't need the serial number with taking it to an Apple Store unless it has changed. Your cell phone number should be enough.

I just made a query to pull that data. I had the item and item group table in there because we were filtering by item group.

It will give you the list of all batches with quantities to count. Then you can make a PLD query layout and print that. Problem is you have to aggregate the items into a total by item code anyways for doing the counting, but then you need to have the batch data when posting.

If you're using a serial connection can you talk to it using HyperTerminal, or equivalent serial communication program? You should check this first.
More than likely the issue is with termination characters. Check the documentation to determine what termination characters need to be used when sending commands, and what termination characters are used to indicate the end fo a read. For commands it's usually just a carriage return, and for reading data it's usually a linefeed.
