  • Packing status becomes complete after using Pick HU

    Hi Experts,
We use Pick HU for Outbound to pick products from warehouse to packing work center
but as soon as we use pick hu in warehouse order for Out delivery and confirm the WO to pack center
the status of packing becomes complete
which should be ideally complete after we repack the products in to ship hu
is there any thing i m missing to accomplish this?

    Hi  Roopendra
I hope this is Correct as its belong to task and not activity.
And if you see activity OB02 then its has to complete at work center. This is about task.
Pack status on del for picking and not for packing activity.

  • Process Chain status not becomeing green even if all loads are successful

    Hi,
The porcess chain status is not becoming green even if all loads are successful.  How can I make it GREEN.
    One more doubt I have.
Suppose I have 6 processes in my process chain and the 3rd process failed. If I run the function module RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH will start loading from the beginging or from the failed process.
I wish to load from the failed process onwards..what should I do ??
    Kindly give the details.
    Bill

Using that FM.. u will be providing the Instance and Variant of the failed process.. and hence the reload will start from the failed process but not the entire chain...
In general the process status shud finish then or based on the link combination  the change from one process to other will happen...
try to maintain a wait time between the process atleast 2 to 4 secs..
    thanks
    hope this helps..

  • ChaRM: resetting SDCR status after withdrawing a SDMJ

    Hey All,
The SDCR is configured to change the status from Authorized back to To Be Approved when an SDHF or SDMJ is withdrawn, using IMG Activity - Define Status Attributes. The default configuration entries are:
    SDHF
    SDHFHEAD
    E0010
    Development System
    Withdrawn
    <blank>
    SDCR
    SDCRHEAD
    E0001
    SDMJ
    SDMJHEAD
    E0010
    <blank>
    Withdrawn
    <blank>
    SDCR
    SDCRHEAD
    E0001
What this shows is when the status of SDHF becomes E0010 (withdrawn), set the status of SDCR to E0001 (To Be Approved). Same thing with SDMJ. The method HF_SET_STATUS is called via an action when you withdraw either SDMJ or SDHF.
When I withdraw an SDHF, the SDCR status goes back to To Be Approved. I can then change some data and approve it again. I can do this over and over as many times as I want.
However, here is my issue. When I withdrawn an SDMJ, the status of the SDCR remains Authorized. At which point I cannot do anything more with the SDCR. It's forever locked in the Authorized status and the SDMJ is withdrawn so you can no longer proceed. The Action tab shows HF_SET_STATUS was called successfully.
Looking at the ChaRM configuration table, I believe this is not the intended result. I haven't found an SAP note addressing this though. The system is on SP23.
    Any ideas?

    Hello Jason,
I have faced with similar problem. When I try to withdraw SDMJ other SDMJ document creates. And this situation happens in loop mode: I withdraw SDMJ doc, other creates, I withdraw new doc, other creates...
I see that there is the action executes during withdrawing:
    Cancel Procedure
From Log I've found that SDMJ_ACTIONS is using, and it contains action WITHDRAW_MJ which call the method HF_SET_STATUS.
I have an assumption that this Method give the problem
I would be appreciated if you give me any information concerning this issue.

  • Sales order line cant be closed....the WF line has the status DEFERRED

    Hello,
Hope you can help me out with this...
I have sales order line which can not be closed because it has the status ORDER_CREATED_MANUFACTURING....when i check the Workflow and rewind the last activity which is DEFERRED it doesnt change, it keeps like that....somebody knows what is happening?

Check if you have created a work order to fulfill the sales order line. Cancel the work order if you are not planning to ship the sales order line.
Check if there are any reservations to that line. Cancel the reservations if you are not planning to ship the sales order line.
Then check the line status - it should become awaiting shipping.
    Try to cancel now.

  • User Status Approval securities for Work Notifications

We created 3 levels of User Status Approvals for Work Notification:
    -Supervisor Approved
    -Deputy Manger Approved
    -Manager Approved
Is there a way to have supervisors only choose "Supervisor approved", Deputy Managers only choose "Deputy Manager Approved" and Manager only choose "Manager Approved"
Currently the supervisor has the ability after approving "Supervisor Approved", they can approve Deputy Manager, and then Manager.
Also is there a way to restrict anyone else not Supervisor or Manager from making changes to User Status
We just want to reduce the risk of User Status changed by wrong authority.
Please provide detailed resolution if possible.

    hi,
create three authorization keys in txn bs52 and assign authorization keys to three user status in txn ok02.

  • What's the status of the Sales Deal(KONA-BOSTA:Status of the agreement)?

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement that the status of the Sales Deal must be equal to "D" (Final settlement of agreement already carried out). Who can tell me how to implement this?
    Thanks & Regards.
    Kelvin

    Hello,
The Agreement Status (KONA-BOSTA ) field can be set manually by the
user. The user can manually change the status field to 'A' or 'B'.
But the status  'C' or 'D' cannot be set manually.
Let me explain the flow :-
    1) When the agreement is created , the  Agreement Status (KONA-BOSTA)
    field is empty.
2)If the user wants to go for settlement , then the status can be
directly changed to 'B' which means now the agreement is ready for
    settlement.
3)Now once the credit memo request (for settlement ) is created , the
Agreement Status (KONA-BOSTA) becomes automatically to 'C'. User cannot
manually change it to 'C' .
4)After that creation of final settlement invoice document , the
Agreement Status (KONA-BOSTA) becomes automatically to 'D'.User cannot
    manually change it to 'D'.
    It can be viewed as
    1) Agreement created   > Agreement Status     Open
2)User can manually change to 'B'   > Agreement Status     'B'
3)Creation of CREDIT MEMO REQUEST    > System automatically changes the
    Agreement Status     'C'.
4)Creation of Final Settlement Invoice    > System automatically changes
    Agreement Status     'D'.
User can only put 'A' or 'B' manually.
'A' is just for  check of settlemnt before release.
I hope that the information are helpful.

I realy got crazy on my mac....
last year i found that my mac's "shift" key was kept being pressed
so i sent it to Apple, and they fixed it
but after about 2 days of normal status,my mac become incredible slow.....
I cant even do my typing normally...
but this time i let a friend of mine to fix it, and he removed the ox system i had, repalced with XP
    the XP runs great
    but i didn't do much things in XP,cos  i don't like it
so i turn my mac into OS system again
    then my mac runs normal
but the whole things turned into a tragedy angain after i pressed "shift"
mac become really slow ,and makes out big noise!!!  I couldn't bear it , it's now the worst machine i have
is anyone figure out the real problem with my mac?
does it still a hardware mistake with my "shift key"  ?  i would be really appreciate if u can solve my problem!!

You should update to the latest version of Snow Leopard (it is now at version 10.6.8) and see if this helps. This will also install a number of security updates to help protect you from potential viruses.
The few other things I can suggest to try are:
    1) checking the hard disk by running "Verify Disk" in the Disk Utility program (see the Apple KB article at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1782 for instructions)
    2) check and repair file access privileges (see Apple kb article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1452)
    3) make sure the Startup Disk System Preference shows the Macbook Air's hard disk is selected.
Sorry I have no experience with Chinese input on the mac, however I did find this website http://www.yale.edu/chinesemac that may further help. Good luck!

  • IM: system status change on wbs

    dear all,
how can I set status Clsd: closed in a wbs element?
it can be changed automatically or it is changed only automatically?
when the status of wbs becomes as CLSD? after what kind of operation?
    thank a lot
    V.

    thnak you so much..
I follow your instuction but I can't close it.
    I have this error:
You cannot deactive asset 21 0.  (Please check.)
    Message no. AY109
    Diagnosis
The asset 21 0 in company code US11 cannot be deactivated. Values exist for the asset.
You probably tried to give an order or a WBS element the status "Close", or to set a deletion flag.  However, since the order or WBS element is a capital investment measure, you first have to credit (clear) the accompanying asset under construction 21 0.
    System Response
The function cannot be carried out.
    Procedure
First, completely settle the order or the WBS element.  In addition, carry out a full settlement, in order to clear the asset under construction.  Then you can carry out the desired function.
can you help me with this?
    thank you so much

  • Project Billing "write-off" options

I'm attempting to determine the best method of "writing off" transactions on direct projects that have been reported as billable, accrued revenue but will never be billed. Please consider the following narrative as an example:
A consultant (consultant x) charges April time and expense to project 10001 in a billable capacity (charged transactions to a billable task). The transactions are cost distributed, revenue distributed and an invoice is subsequently produced. All cost and revenue transactions are produced, interfaced and ultimately posted to the general ledger in April. The month of April is closed in PA and the invoices for the April billing cycle are produced. Project 10001's draft invoice includes those charges reported by consultant x and is distributed to the project manager for approval. The project manager reviews the invoice review and determines that consultant x's transactions will never be billed and instructs the accounting group to write off the transactions.
Challenge: we need a way to "write-off" (reduce revenue and change billing status) transactions that will allow for consistent reporting and measurement. Specifically, we need to be able to determine all write-off's (revenue/billing reductions) in a given period that relate to original transactions from an earlier or different period. In short, we want to establish a policy and procedure for consistently processing and reporting these types of conditions.
    Proposed Options:
    1) use the "special" non-billable adjustment option from either expenditure inquiry or invoice review to change the billing status from billable to non-billable.
    Pros:
    a) transactions will remain on the project in the capacity they were reported by the employee
    b) an adjustment record will be created in the PA_Expend_Item_adj_Activities table which will include the adjustment activity code (i.e. Billable Reclass, Non-billable reclass, billing hold, billing hold release, etc.)
    c) history of who created original transactions and adjustments is available (full audit trail)
    d) a reversing revenue entry will be created in the PA_Cust_Rev_Dist_Lines_all table which will allow us to track the dates (gl period) of the revenue adjustment and compare it to the original transaction dates.
    Cons:
    a) to the average users the transaction on a billable task flagged as non-billable with no corresponding revenue may look unusual because there is no description explaining why the adjustment existed. the only way to determine that revenue existed and was subsequently reversed is to look at item details- revenue details.
b)The revenue write-off will be charged to the same accounts (revenue and inventory) that the original transaction was booked to but in reverse. we don't have the ability to deflect the "write-off" to a bad debt account versus a direct write-off of revenue.
    c) The employee's utilization calculations will be impacted by changing the billing status of the transactions and reducing the corresponding revenue. we may need to update the utilization report to reflect these types of transactions differently.
    2) use the "special" transfer adjustment option to transfer the transaction from the originating billable task to a non-billable destination task on the project in question.
    Pros:
    a) the average user will easily see that the transaction in question has been reversed and b) the revenue subsequently written off by the negative revenue on the reversal transaction
    c) an adjustment record will be created in the PA_Expend_Item_adj_activities table which will include the applicable adjustment activity code(s) (Transfer Back-out, Transfer Originating, Transfer Destination).
    d) history of who created original and adjustments is available.
a reversing revenue entry will be made via e) the negative reversal entry created in the PA_Cust_Rev_Dist_Lines_All table.
    Cons:
    a) the original transaction is being altered (transferred) by accounting. the integrity of the transaction as it was submitted by the source employee may be compromised.
    b) there is no easy way for the average end user to know where the transaction was transferred to. the information is available via ad hoc reporting from database tables but looking at expenditure inquiry for a given project you will not be able to determine where the transaction went if it was transferred to another task and many tasks exist or if it was transferred to another project entirely.
    c) The revenue write-off will be charged to the same accounts (revenue and inventory) that the original transaction was booked to but in reverse. we don't have the ability to deflect the "write-off" to a bad debt account versus a direct write-off of revenue.
    d) The employee's utilization calculations will be impacted by changing the billing status of the transactions and reducing the corresponding revenue. we may need to update the utilization report to reflect these types of transactions differently.
    e) As a common practice, each project will need at least one "non-billable" task to capture such write-off transfers.
    3) use a write-off event (both revenue and billing) to reduce the project by the aggregate amount of all transactions in question.
    Pros:
    a) employee specific transactions and ultimately utilization results will not be impacted by the independent event transaction.
    b) by modifying our autoaccounting rules we will be able to book the "write-off" to an account other than a revenue account. (I believe, more research necessary)
    Cons:
    a) No link back to actual transactions.
    b) original transactions will remain untouched and will appear as though they were billed and will show up on the invoice and detail reports to the client along with an aggregated event for the total write-off amount.
Any thoughts or opinions you can provide about the best practice in Oracle will be greatly appreciated.

    Diana,
Here's another response from a (very) senior Projects consultant. Her comments are in CAPS, so they can be dinstinguished from your comments:
"I recommend following the approach she outlines in Section 2, with the following additions:
SECTION 2) use the "special" transfer adjustment option to transfer the Transaction from the originating billable task to a non-billable Destination task on the project in question. CORRECT.
    A) SET UP THE WBS TO HAVE A TOP LEVEL NON-BILLABLE TASK, ON EVERY PROJECT, WITH A TASK NUMBER OF :"WRITE-OFF".
    B) WRITE AUTOACCOUNTING RULE , BASED ON TASK NUMBER, TO ENSURE THAT ANY TRANSACTIONS CHARGED (TRANSFERRED) TO "WRITE-OFF" TASK WILL BE POSTED TO A "WRITE-OFF/BAD DEBT" ACCT IN GENERAL LEDGER.
    C) CREATE A DFF AT THE EXPENDITURE ITEM LEVEL WHICH CAN BE POPULATED AT THE TIME OF TRANSFER, TO INDICATE WHERE THE TRX IS BEING TRANSFERRED TO. IT IS TRUE THAT TRANSFER ACTIVITY REPORT WILL TELL YOU THIS AS WELL, BUT IF YOU
WANT TO SEE IT ONLINE DURING EXPEND. INQ, THEN DFF IS FINE.
    D) AS TO CONCERNS ABOUT "THE INTEGRITY" OF THE TRANSACTION AS IT IS SUBMITTED BY THE EMPLOYEE BEING COMPROMISED, THIS IS CERTAINLY POSSIBLE, BUT IF THIS IS A SERIOUS BUSINESS CONCERN, THEN I WOULD CONSIDER CREATING AN ALERT TO THE EMPLOYEE WHO ENTERED THE ORIGINAL TRX, ADVISING THEM OF THE CHANGE AND REQUESTING THEIR REVIEW AND OR APPROVAL OF THE TRANSFERRED TRX. I CAN SEE THIS BECOMING QUITE CUMBERSOME THOUGH, AND, OVERALL, ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENTS MANIPULATE TRANSACTIONS FOR ACCOUNTING PURPOSES ALL THE TIME AS STANDARD PRACTICE, SO I'M NOT SURE WHY THIS IS AN ISSUE HERE.
    E) AND LASTLY, IT IS TRUE THAT AS A COMMON PRACTICE, EACH PROJECT WILL NEED A
'WRITE-OFF" TASK AS A STANDARD PART OF IT'S WBS-- SO WHAT? IT'S JUST ONE MORE TASK IN YOUR WBS. BUILD IT INTO YOUR PROJECT TEMPLATES, AND MAKE IT NOT CHARGEABLE UNTIL WRITE OFFS BECOME NECESSARY. AS TO UTILIZATION, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH INFO IN THE CLIENT QUESTION TO ADDRESS THAT ISSUE PROPERLY.
THAT'S ABOUT IT. HOPE THIS HELPS.
    BEST REGARDS, PAT"

  • Kanban for in house mfg items

We have a BOM with item “A” as FG, “B” as SFG & “C” as raw material.
A & B are produced using Repetitive mfg with REM profile –GR/GI together.
“B” is to be handled using kanban, for which Supply area, Control cycle are created as well as Replenishment strategy & Status sequence is configured.
    The requirement is as follows:
(1)On running MRP for item “A”, system should generated planned orders for item “A” & PRs/schedule lines for item “C”.
(2)On production confirmation of item “B” using transaction code:MFBF, the bin status should automatically become “FULL” from it’s initial status “EMPTY”.
(3)On production confirmation of item “A” using transaction code:MFBF, the bin status for its component “B”should automatically become “EMPTY” from it’s status “FULL”.
Similarly, the movement bin status for item “B” automatically becomes “EMPTY”, it should trigger a Planned order generation in MD04 list for item B.
    Regards,
    Ranjeet

    Hi,
If u want to handle B(HALB) with kanban system then
    1) Create supply area in the mfg storage location
    2) Create control cycle with replenishment strategy"In house Mfg" strategy type "Planned order with MRP".
So once u run the MRP for material A(FERT) then planned gets generated against A and B also.
Once u trigger the kanban card for material B then one planned order gets generated and MRP generated planned qty gets reduced.
    EG:
MRP triggered planned order qty is 100.00Qty
If ur bin qty is like 20.00qty
Once u trigger the kanban card then
20.00qty planned order gets generated (KANBAN planned order)
Then MRP triggered planned order reduced to 80.00qty.
Once u trigger the kanban card bin becomes "Empty".
After Mfg execution production confirmation done thr' T CODE PK41 not thr' MFBF.
Once u execute PK41 transaction bin status changes to full automatically.

  • FBL5 FIAR - exception aggregation - count customers with open items at key

    Hello gurus,
I have read the information about counting all values in reference to a characteristic. I manage to count how many customers have a FIAR open item 'billing status' = Open in my FIAR cube.
Now I am asked to replicate transaction FBL5 of R3. This transaction will give you open items at a given key date by adding
    the items with
    A) Item status = 'O' and posting date <= key date
    and the items with
    B) Item status = 'C' and posting date < =key date and clearing date > key date.
I calculate the net value by creating 2 restricted key figures and then adding them in a CKF.
But for counting I have a problem. I can count how many customer make up the open items (case A)
and how many customers makeup items that where cleared between key date and today.(case B).
But I cannot sum the two numbers as there might be customers that are counted in both cases.
    For example I have 4 customers that correspond to case A : 1000 1011, 1012 and 1014
    And I have 3 customers that correspond to case B  1000 , 1011 and 1013
I would like to get 5 as the number of customers that verify either case A or case B (or both).
Is there a way to do this with the exception 'aggregation 'and 'count all values' property of CKF ?
    Claudio

    Hi,
The logic given in the above post may be a bit confusing to you. Check out this explanation and try to understand what I mean.
    Posting Date - PD
    Key Date - KD
    Clearing Date - CD
    PD--KD--
    CD
    -O(Status)-C--O-----C
    -5107-----8
Let me explain the above table.
Between PD & KD there are 5 count with status'O' and 10 counts with status 'C'.
Between KD & CD there are c counts with status 'O' & 8 counts with status 'C'.
This means 5 with status 'C' becomes 7 between KD & CD.
    Similarly, 10 status with 'O' becomes 8.
The logic I am trying to say is..
If you don't want to get counts with status 'C'(repeated) as I understood) 7-5 = 2. Show this 2 as count for status 'C' between KD & CD.
So the table will become like this now.
    PD--KD--
    CD
    -O(Status)-C--O-----C
    -5102(7)---2(8).
In braces shown are the total with status 'O'/'C' for the dates.
I hope this will solve your problem.

  • Question about Kurts comments discussing the seperation of AIA & CDP - Test Lab Guide: Deploying an AD CS Two-Tier PKI Hierarchy - Kurt L Hudson MSFT

Question about the sentence in bold. What is the meaning behind this comment?
How would you separate the role of the AIA and CDP from a CA subordinate server? I can see where I add a CES and CEP server which has those as well, but I don't completely understand his comment. Because in this second step, (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/tlg-key-based-renewal.aspx)
he shows how to implement CES and CEP.
This is from the guide located at: http://technet.microsoft.com/library/hh831348.aspx
Step 3: Configure APP1 to distribute certificates and CRLs
In the extensions of the root CA, it was stated that the CRL from the root CA would be available via http://www.contoso.com/pki. Currently, there is not a PKI virtual directory on APP1, so one must be created.
In a production environment, you would typically separate the issuing CA role from the role of hosting the AIA and CDP.
However, this lab combines both in order to reduce the number of resources needed to complete the lab.
    Thanks,
    James

My concern is, they have a 2-3k base of xp systems, over this year they are migrating them to Windows 7. During this time they will also be upgrading hardware for the existing windows 7 machines. The turnover of certificates are going to be high, which
from what I've read here, it worries me.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/archive/2009/06/24/implementing-an-ocsp-responder-part-i-introducing-ocsp.aspx
The application then can go to those locations to download the CRL. There are, however, some potential issues with this scenario. CRLs over time can get rather large
depending on the number of certificates issued and revoked. If CRLs grow to a large size, and many clients have to download CRLs, this can have a negative impact on network performance. More importantly, by
default Windows clients will timeout after 15 seconds while trying to download a CRL. Additionally,
CRLs have information about every currently valid certificate that has been revoked, which is an excessive amount of data given the fact that an application may only need the revocation status for a few certificates. So,
aside from downloading the CRL, the application or the OS has to parse the CRL and find a match for the serial number of the certificate that has been revoked.
With the above limitations, which mostly revolve around scalability, it is clear that there are some drawbacks to using CRLs. Hence, the introduction of Online Certificate
Status Protocol (OCSP). OCSP reduces the overhead associated with CRLs. There are server/client components to OCSP: The OCSP responder, which is the server component, and the OCSP Client. The OCSP Responder accepts status
requests from OCSP Clients. When the OCSP Responder receives the request from the client it then needs to determine the status of the certificate using the serial number presented by the client. First the OCSP Responder determines if it has any cached responses
for the same request. If it does, it can then send that response to the client. If there is no cached response, the OCSP Responder then checks to see if it has the CRL issued by the CA cached locally on the OCSP. If it does, it can check the revocation status
locally, and send a response to the client stating whether the certificate is valid or revoked. The response is signed by the OCSP Signing Certificate that is selected during installation. If the OCSP does not have the CRL cached locally, the OCSP Responder
can retrieve the CRL from the CDP locations listed in the certificate. The OCSP Responder then can parse the CRL to determine the revocation status, and send the appropriate response to the client.
