Also the ball runs faster and faster after each volley and the ball deflects at a smaller x-axis
angle after hitting the rightWall & leftWall. How can I get a constant velocity as well as a
more balance deflection??When you detect a collision you do something like this:
ball.setDy(dy>0 ? -(++dy) : -(--dy));If you take the increment/decrement out of that statement you should have constant velocity and normal deflection:
ball.setDy(-dy);shmoove

  • One or more post-processing actions failed - XML Publisher report

    Hi all, I'm working with the following envinronment:
    Unix platform: HP-UX rp1 B.11.11 U 9000/800
    DB: Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.5.0 - 64bit Production
    eBS: EBS 11.5.9
    More in detail I have a problem when I run a request to see an XML Publisher Report. The request's status at the end is WARNING.....
    When I click on "View Output" I don't see nothing and inside the "View Log" I have this error:
    Executing request completion options...

    Anybody have any idea where the error is ?
    Any help will be appreciated
    Alex

    You are right !!
    The problem is inside the report generated by Oracle Reports
    The XML code, which I retrieve running the report request is the following:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="&Encoding"?>
    - <!-- Generated by Oracle Reports version 6.0.8.20.2
    -->
    - <MODULE1>
    - <LIST_G_MANAGER_NO>
    - <G_MANAGER_NO>
    <MANAGER_NO>1000</MANAGER_NO>
    <MANAGER_NAME>Anil Passi</MANAGER_NAME>
    </G_MANAGER_NO>
    - <G_MANAGER_NO>
    <MANAGER_NO>1001</MANAGER_NO>
    <MANAGER_NAME>Martin</MANAGER_NAME>
    </G_MANAGER_NO>
    </LIST_G_MANAGER_NO>
    </MODULE1>
    and the problem is the "&" !!!
    So, inside Oracle Reports, when I try to generate the XML code from a preexisting report, the encoding variable is not set.
    Now, I'm trying to understand how to set it, but I didn't find nothing....
    Somebody knows where can I find a Report's configuration file in order to set this "encoding" ?
    Thanks
    Alex

  • Firefox 4b7 does not complete «More Answers from-» action on Formspring.me userpages; previous Firefox (3.6) was able to load more questions and answers

    Even in safe mode, Firefox 4b7 is not able to complete «More Answers from…» action on Formspring.me userpages, it just displays «loading more questions…» for a seemingly endless amount of time. (Firefox 3.6 and any other browser, such as Safari, displays «loading more questions…» for a short period of time when AJAX works, then the questions and answers are actually loaded and displayed.) In order to reproduce, load Firefox 4b7 in Safe Mode, visit www.formspring.me/krylov and click on «More Answers from Konstantin Krylov» (the bottom link). You may try any other user, www.formspring.me/teotmin or www.formspring.me/anandaya for example.

    what a waste of money sending an engineer to "fix a fault" which does not exist.  Precisely.
    In my original BE post to which Tom so helpfully responded, I began:  It seems to me that DLM is an excellent concept with a highly flawed implementation, both technically and administratively.   I think that sending out an engineer to fix an obviously flawed profile is the main example of an adminastrative flaw.  I understand (I can't remember source, maybe Tom again) that they are sometimes relaxing the requirement for a visit before reset.
    Maybe the DLM system is too keen on stability vs speed.  This will keep complaints down from many people: most users won't notice speed too much as long as it is reasonable, but will be upset if their Skype calls and browsing are being interrupted too often.
    However, it does lead to complaints from people who notice the drops after an incidence (as in your thread that has drawn lots of interest), or who only get 50 instead of 60.  The main technical flaw is that DLM can so easily be confused by drops from loss of power, too much modem recycling, etc, and then takes so long to recover.

  • Can a submit button carry out more than 1 action ?

    I want to give show feed back after a survey question but I want to do this whilst the answer that the user has given is still on the page.
    I have assigned a show comand to the submit button which makes a text box visable however the play head carries on and the slide progresses to the next one.  Is there a way to pause the time line and advance on a click after the feedback, what I think I want is for the submit button to carry out several action  or am I going about this the wrong way?

    Hello,
    Could you tell if you are using the default Question slides for this survey question or did you create your own slide using standard objects?
    I'm a bit puzzled about it because you mention the 'Submit' button, that is why I supposed you are using a default Question slide. You can assign an advanced action which can have more than one action of course. But this will not solve your issue. If you want to stick with default question slides that allow you limited control I could make this suggestion:
    create the hidden text caption,
    increase the default duration of the question slide; typically it will pause at 1.5sec, increase the slide duration so that the text caption that will show up stays long enough for the user to read it
    show the text caption for the rest of the slide
    attach the success action to the Submit button as you did to show the TC
    When the user clicks on Submit, the Text Caption will pop up  but the playhead will continue till the slide is finished. AFAIK you will not be able to stop it, but now the user will have sufficient time to read.
    The best solution is to create your own survey slides, then you can add as many interactive objects as you wish.

  • Can more than one action be maintained on same day?

    Hi
    Can more than one action be maintained on same day?
    Charlene

    Hi,
    SPRO -> PM->   PA->CUSTOMIZING PROCEDURES->  ACTIONS-> SETUP PERSONNEL     ACTIONS-> PERSONNEL ACTION TYPES. In this step check under both "U & U" columns for that particular action.
    •     Activate additional action infotype P0302 in T529A table.
    You can do two actions on the same day without changing employment status.
    •     Cause and prerequisites
    You use the functions 'Additional actions' (infotype 0302) (that is, flag ADMIN EVSUP = 1 in table T77S0). If you delete or shift a created personnel action type 'Leaving' and then create a new personnel action without leaving the transaction, on the list screen of infotype 0000, the system does not display the last but one personnel action.
    Solution
    To correct the display problem, start report RPUEVSUP for the affected personnel number. Then check Customizing of the personnel action types (table T529A), since the report sets indicator U0302 (update of infotype 0302) active for all personnel actions.
    •     RPUEVSUP --- Activation Program for Additional Actions (0302).
    Pls reward suitable points.
    Regards,
    IFF

  • Automator in Leopard - Ignore results from last action?

    In the Tiger version of Automator there was an option on each (or most) of the actions you placed in the workflow (in the Automator window) to ignore results from the last action. I can't see how to do this in the Leopard version. How do I do it, or where's the option?

    It's now called "Ignore Input" and is accessed via right-click on the action menubar-- not the most friendly change!
    I wrote up a review of Automator 2 covering this and a few other issues:

    PC Suite ignores additional items when there are more than one item of the same kind - example: if I have two or more notes in a contact, only one is showed, and the remaining ones are ignored. It seems to be a bug, since even exportation of a contact with multiple items of the same kind only exports one of them, ignoring all the others. My cell phone is 5610, is connected with the USB cable, and my PC Suite is version 7.1.30.9

    Hi,
    As you mentioned when i add one more notes to a contact on Nokia N86, after sync, in view sync last report i saw the second note as Unsupported properties Note(2) and its content displayed on view last report.  So i dont think this will be supported.  Similar issue we have for contacts, if you same contact(say mobile home1, mobile home 2) pc suite will recognise only the first (mobile home1) and pc sync will say unsupported properties for rest of mobile home nos# and you cannot view them on Nokia Communication centre/PC Suite.... Similarly though your phone supports adding more than one note for a contact, it wont be supported by pc suite as per view last sync report May be this is currently how it behaves

  • Software demo with next buttons and auto-mouse actions is confusing to viewers

    Hi,
    I created presentation tools for my co-workers to do a road show type thing of our software. On some slides, they must click a next button to advance, but not on others- this is intentional. However, we got the feedback that users find it confusing to see two cursors- the auto-play one and the one for the computer the presenter is using (if that makes sense?)
    I suggested using a different cursor for the demos, but what they would really prefer is that they could advance the demo through a keyboard action instead of clicking that next button (but I assume the next button would still be there, right?)
    Does anyone know if this is possible with Captivate 3?
    Thanks,
    Dee

    Hi Dee
    You are able to turn off the mouse cursor if you want. This would perhaps eliminate the confusion. You could use a Click Box instead of a Button if you wanted to pause the slide. You may also configure either a Click Box or a Button with a Keyboard shortcut the user would press to move on.
    Cheers... Rick

  • How to do more than one action per one request ?

    1. I have taskflow with several actions. For example Page1 (action1) -> Page2, Page2 (action2) -> Page3. How can I move from the Page1 to Page3 without creating additional actions per one request?
    2. I have 1 unbounded taskflow, and 2 bounded. Unbounded (action1) -> Bounded1, Unbounded (action2) -> Bounded2. How can I return from Bounded1 taskflow and enter to Bounded2 taskflow via "action2" per one request?
    Can I flow through tasks virtually from the java code? Sweeping generalization: how to flow through taskflows like graph from some node to other using some path which contains several nodes.

    inooni,
    Unless I am misunderstanding you, you can create a control flow from Page 1 to Page 3. You could also do this with a global control flow case so as to avoid having to create one for each pair of navigations you want to do.
    JohnJonh, I have a lot of bounded tasks (tasks and pages generates automatically). It involves to create a lot of actions to navigate between pairs of them. I'm searching way to navigate without destroying bounded tasks structure.
