Transaction Canceled V1 322 in System Log

Hi All,
We've been having this Transaction Canceled V1 322 messages in sm21 for months now, but we can't really find the cause. Does anyone have any idea why it appears in the logs?
thanks and regards
Carlos

Hi. For starters, Disk Utility won't do anything at all for this issue
I've seen that fairly frequently for the same thing (USB connection from an APC UPS).
It can be safely ignored, from all I've seen.
http://lists.apple.com/archives/usb/2004/Feb/msg00042.html
shows some discussion of the issue from a different angle.
Some info can be read via
less /System/Library/Frameworks/IOKit.framework/Versions/A/Headers/usb/USB.h
less /System/Library/Frameworks/Kernel.framework/Versions/A/Headers/IOKit/usb/USB.h
If you run
strings /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBOHCI.kext/ Contents/MacOS/AppleUSBOHCI
you'll see:
"AppleUSBOHCI[%p]::Found a transaction which hasn't moved in 5 seconds on bus %ld, timing out!"
Possibly cause for concern, but what I think is at fault, is the APC - that it's timing out a (USB) communication. One person said installing a USB2 card made the issue go away, I have no idea if such a move makes sense for anyone else or that it would have the same effect.

    Hi Raghu,

    The System Log
The SAP System logs all system errors, warnings, user locks due to failed logon attempts from known users, and process messages in the system log. There are to two different types of logs created by the system log:
    キ Local Logs
    キ Central Logs
Use transaction SM21 to access the system log output screen. With this transaction, you can read any of the messages that are contained in the system logs. You can modify the view to meet your needs.
    Local Logs
Each SAP System application server has a local log that receives all the messages output by this server. The system log records these messages in a circular file on the server. When this log file reaches the maximum permissible length, the system log overwrites it, starting over from the beginning. (The location of the local log is specified in the rslg/local/file profile parameter.)
    Central Logs
We recommend that you also maintain a central log file on a selected application server. Each individual application server then sends its local log messages to this server. The server that you designate to maintain the central log collects the messages from the other application servers and writes these messages to the central log.
The central log consists of two files: the active file and the old file. (The location of the active file is specified in the rslg/central/fileprofile parameter; the location of the old file is specified in the rslg/central/old_file.)
The active file contains the current log. When it reaches the maximum size, the system performs a "log file switch". It deletes the old log file, makes the previously active file the “old” file, and creates a new active file. The switch occurs when the size of the active log file is half the value as specified in the rslg/max_diskspace/central parameter. (Note: the SAP System does not support the saving of old system log files. If you want to save old logs, then you must archive them yourself.)
If you use Windows NT or AS/400, then note the following:
Central logging is not available on the Windows NT and AS/400 platforms.
Per default, the profile parameter rslg/collect_daemon/host should be set correctly. However, if you receive warnings, then make sure that this parameter is set to NONE.
For these platforms, you can use the All remote syslogs function from transaction SM21 to read the data of all the instances in your SAP System. In the alert monitor, if you receive an alert, you can use the Remote syslog function to analyze the affected instance.
    Profile Parameters and File Locations
The table below shows some of the profile parameters for the system log along with their standard values:
Profile Parameters and File Locations for the System Log
    rslg/local/file
Specifies the location of the local log on the application server.
    /usr/sap/<SID>/D20/
    log/SLOG<SAP-instance_number>
    rslg/collect_daemon/host
Specifies the application server that maintains the central log.
    <hostname of main instance>
    rslg/central/file
Specifies the location of the active file for the central log on the application server.
    /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/
    global/SLOGJ
    rslg/central/old_file
Specifies the location of the old file for the central log on the application server.
    /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/
    global/SLOGJO
    rslg/max_diskspace_local
Specifies the maximum length of the local log.
    500,000 bytes
    rslg/max_diskspace_central
Specifies the maximum length of the central log.
    2,000,000 bytes
Any operations on the Database would be recorded in the attribute log of the db and it would be a file on the system - usually the attribute logs are set to a particular size and if that size limit is eached , the system will hang - ask the DBA to take a back up of the log and clear the current log file and you should be good to go.
    Hope this helps,

  • SAP-Basis system: Transaction canceled 15

    Dear Gurus,
    We have ECC 6.0 on DB2 9.1 fp 5 on windows 2003.
I am getting this error in syslog.
    SAP-Basis system: Transaction canceled 15
    Thanks
    Rao.

    Thanks for reply
This is the log in SM21.
Can you tell me how to do this in sap or database level.
    &CAUSE&
When the update data is reorganized, it deletes inconsistent
(incomplete) update requests. While one user is carrying out a
transaction, the the update data is often in a state of incompletion.
When the transaction is completed and the update begun, the data becomes
complete. If the data is reorganized in productive operation, temporary
inconsistencies may get deleted. A data inconsistency with incomplete
    data can therefore arise.
    &SYSTEM_RESPONSE&
Reorganize the update tables only where there are no users logged onto
    the system.

    Hi,
it looks like the job (program RSWWDHEX) for monitoring deadlines in workflow is failing to start. Have you applied support pack recently? You can try to reschedule that job using transaction SWWB. The problem is described in note 618656. There are also some other notes related to this job. So I would suggest to search for additional notes.

    Hi,
You need to check that program in debugging for the Backgournd process.
For doing the debugging of the background process do the following steps.
1)go sm37 and select your job.
2)in the command line just type JDBG (not the /nJDBG OR /oJDBG) and hit enter. it goes to the debuggin mode.

please help me , what should i do ?
I am waiting for your positive response.
    Regards
    Shubh

    hi,
    You can try following ....
    For the job SEND_SYSTEM_RELATIONSHIP_TO_SUP
    Program : AI_SC_SEND_SYSTEM_RELATIONSHIP
    1. Up to Support Package 09:
    a) Start transaction SMSY.
    b) Choose Shft+F5.
    c) Select the system named in the message.
    d) Choose F6.
    e) Select the "System Data in SAP Support Portal" tab.
    f) Using the input help, fill the system number field with the correct system.
    g) Save the data.
    2. Up to and including Support Package 08:
    a) Start transaction SOLMAN_CONNECT.
    b) Select the system in question in the ID field and choose the filter pushbutton.
    c) Select the system and select "Create configuration".
    d) Fill the system number field using the input help with the correct system.
    e) For example, select the "BW GUI Connection" service type.
    f) Carry out all of the subsequent steps of the Configuration Assistant until you see the "Finish" pushbutton.
This establishes a unique relationship between your system in the Solution Manager and the system number in the SAP Support Portal. Problems no longer occur with this system when the SEND_SYSTEM_RELATIONSHIP_TO_SUPP job is next run. However, the problem may still exist for other systems (in these cases, you should follow the same steps).
Hope this will help to solve your issue..

I had a look around online but drawing a blank with this one.  Just wondered if anyone had seen this sort of thing before?
    (Windows/Oracle 11.2.0.2.0)

    Thanks for the reply.
Checked all that.  User all check outs.  Not locked, has SAP_ALL, etc
    No dumps.
There are some jobs running as user ADMIN but no issues at a glance.  All finished as normal, no jobs cancelled or anything.

  • ITS Transaction Canceled ITS_P 001 ( )

We have just tranported all the ITS transactions and services to the TEST system exactly as they are in the DEV system and now all the services with ~disconnectonclose = 1 are failing to run. If we change the setting to ~disconnectonclose = 0 they all work, but obviously the user is then still logged in.
All these transactions have ~disconnectonclose = 1 in the DEV system and are all running without any problems.
The error in SM21 just says:
    Transaction Canceled ITS_P 001 ( ) which I can't find any notes on.
The trace files just report that the user was logged off and no other errors.
I have added ~disconnectonclose to WEBGUI and this works ok.
I have run out of ideas as to what to look at next. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to look for to fix this problem. The ITS, kernnel and patch are also the same on both servers.
    Thank you
    Karen

    Hi everyone,

Please give me any advice as I am stuck.  This is not stopping us from working but it is getting hard to read through the logs in SM21 when this is none stop.

    Hi
    The error
    14:17:13 DIA 000 000 SAPSYS D01 Transaction Canceled 00 152 ( )
    14:17:13 DIA 000 000 SAPSYS R68 Perform rollback
Is basically a logon time error, when you try to logon through SAPGUI in dialog mode, the instance is 000 and logon takes place through dialog process 000.
    As SM21 log further says:
Name or password is incorrect. Please re-enter
This is the message you get at bottom screen of gui when you enter wrong user id or password.
Many a times when user wrongly enter the invalid logon data this error is evident in SM21 log.
Now in your case this is occuring every minute, so there might be some process which initiates a dialog logon to the system every minute but unable to do that.
So in this case this could be the CCMS monitoring component on a remote system e.g. a Solution Manager system, which is monitoring your XI system and trying to login to get the data.
Please check if this is possibility in your case.
    Hope this might help.

Please note that this issue has nothing to do with 10G. We had recently upgraded and this error has been present before the upgrade.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can check on the logs which process was used, then check the developer traces to see if you can find more info.

While deleting any entries you need to be careful enough. Please first check on TEST system before proceeding to DEV to avoid unnecessary complications.
you can also delete the entries from SQL level.

Please note that SAP will not advise and support if anything goes worng.

  • Transaction Canceled 15 100 ( )

    Dear gurus,
I am gettingthis errro in sm21.  my environment is ECC 6.0 DB2 Windows 2003
    Transaction Canceled 15 100 ( )
The transaction has been terminated.  This may be caused by a
termination message from the application (MESSAGE Axxx) or by an
error detected by the SAP System due to which it makes no sense to
proceed with the transaction.  The actual reason for the termination
is indicated by the T100 message and the parameters.

Reorganization of update date not allowed in batch
    &CAUSE&
When the update data is reorganized, it deletes inconsistent
(incomplete) update requests. While one user is carrying out a
transaction, the the update data is often in a state of incompletion.
When the transaction is completed and the update begun, the data beco
complete. If the data is reorganized in productive operation, tempora
inconsistencies may get deleted. A data inconsistency with incomplete
    data can therefore arise.
    &SYSTEM_RESPONSE&
    &WHAT_TO_DO&
Reorganize the update tables only where there are no users logged ont
    the system.

    How to reorganize this.

    Rao.
