Impossible to connect to Sonos library and having difficulty connecting to Pandora and Spotify. Sonos tech support can't seem to resolve. Any suggestions?

Yes, thank you. I have done that on most of them and it works well. My frustration is that the autofill in Safari seems to be the only way to engage Keychain. When I don't select autofill in Safari, I can't engage Keychain at all (without manually opening it and viewing an individual key). I'd like to be able to activate Keychain selectively as I did in Leopard.
For those sites where I have multiple accounts, I have discovered that if I deny the first pop-up from Keychain, I can then delete the autofilled login and enter the first character of the one I want, and the pop-up appears again. It's just frustrating to have to take those extra steps.

Trouble with Safari and keychain after upgrade to Snow Leopard

I just upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard. Previously in Safari (with Leopard), when logging in to a website, I entered the first character of my login and, depending on the settings in Keychain, the login/password was autofilled or I was prompted for my Keychain Access password and then it autofilled. This worked great because no one could use my laptop and be able to log in to sensitive websites without my Keychain Access password. And, because I have multiple accounts on some websites, I could choose which login ID to use based on the first character. I don't know if Safari was set to autofill or not, but I suspect not because I never wanted autofill.
After I upgraded to Snow Leopard, Safari would not connect to Keychain at all. I figured out I had to check Safari's autofill User Names and Passwords box in order for it to recognize Keychain. But now it autofills whenever I land on a website login page, even though the Keychain items are set to require my Keychain password. Further, for those websites that have multiple accounts, Safari is autofilling the one that is first listed in Keychain.
What do I need to do for Safari to use Keychain Access without immediately autofilling (like it did with Leopard)?

Is there any error code when user access their mailbox on OWA. Please confirm if there is no results returned in EMS when you run Get-OWAVirtualDirectory cmdlet. Also check whether there is any Event Logs related to OWA in Exchange.
In IIS manager, make sure the OWA virtual directory is listed in the Default Web Site. In EMC, we can navigate to Server Configuration > Client Access, select server and turn to Outlook Web App tab. Then we can click Reset Virtual Directory in the right
Actions pane to reset OWA virtual directory.
Additionally, please restart IIS service by running iisreset /noforce from a Command Prompt window.

Hi,
I can not use edit and develop after release November 2013.
I am a user from Sweden and wonder if it only hit European data center?
The language has also changed from Swedish to English in the modules.
I can not access the following in Site Settings:
Admin users
Mobile support
Secure Domain redirect
Beta features
Does anyone have the same problem?

The calendar app on MacBook won't recognize and sync with IPad and Iphone after upgrading to Yosemite and Server 4.0

After upgrading to Yosemite on our mac mini (from OS X 10.9) and V4.0 to Server (from 3.2), the calendar app on MacBook won't recognize the account and won't sync with IPad and Iphone. Even after giving password over and over again. I get the following message:

update to my original post: after searching since for the past 10 days - I did want to pass along to others with an iphone calendar sync problem the following resource:

This is the preferred solution for problems with sync with calendar and other apps between iphone and MaciOS. This did solve the problem which developed that no items from iCal were copying to Iphone, such as new calendars I would add, but the original problem has not been fixed by this reset.

Problem with printing and scanning after updating to Mavericks for my Photosmart C7180

After updating my macbook pro (mid 2009) to Mavericks, I have found that I can only scan to a jpeg2000 and cannot scan as a tiff or jpeg or anyother format. I have followed instructions on troubleshooting and have not been able to make anything work ie scanning from preview etc. I have now uninstalled all the HP software and tried to load it again but software update will not recognise that I do not have the software for my printer. What do I do now?

I understand you're having issues with scanning since you upgraded to Mavericks. I have looked into this concern for you and found that there is no downloadable driver with the full feature software (scanning software) included for the Photosmart C7180 and Mavericks.
However, there are work around options for scanning that may help and work!

Has anyone figured out a way to scroll & swipe with magic mouse again after upgrading to Maverick? Thanks!

I finally upgraded to Maverick and now my magic mouse doesn't scroll or swipe on any application and to make things worse, my keyboard scrolling ability after pressing down on the arrows is a bit delayed. Does anyone know how to solve this? My magic mouse and keyboard are a month old, so, I know it's not the devices, but something with the update.
Things I've done from reading other forums:
1. Went to System Preferences/Mouse Settings [but it only gives me two settings: Tracking & Double-Click Speed]
2. I've reset my PRAM a few timesnow.
3. Tried restarting my computer a few times too, but nothing.
4. I've tried searching for these files in my Library to DELETE, but they don't exist, so that method is not an option:
com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist
com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.trackpad.list
com.apple.driver.AppleHIDMouse.plist
Also, my bluetooth capabilites are no longer available because of this update. :^/

Although I'm far from being an expert in programming, I would answer NO. Imho, you've just got a brillant idea! (As for “repeating / updating the variable so many times in a row”… you could add a short delay (like “delay 1”) inside the repeat block, but I don't think it's a must.)

How can I get my Canon MP600 printer to print and scan after upgrading to Mavericks?

I recently upgraded to Mavericks and the first thing I discovered was that my Canon MP600 printer would not scan. Checking online I find that others have had the same experience. Now it won't print either. Anyone know what can be done to resolve this?

This has been a major pain in the *** for me! I have trawled too many online discussions and forum threads on this only to find no real answers that work. In the end I found some software called VueScan which although cost me $40, has now allowed me to scan from my MP600. Check it out at http://www.hamrick.com/

Trouble with Sonos and Verizon FIOS

I am using a Sonos audio system with a Verizon FIOS ActionTec router. Periodically (every week or so) I lose the ability to connect to *some* Internet Radio stations. Some Internet Radio stations won't work at all, some work intermittently, and some work.
ALL of the "non-working" internet radio stations work just fine when I connect from my laptop using iTunes or other internet radio clients. i.e. I can rule out a problem with the internet radio station.
Other services on the Sonos work, both access to my local music collection and access to streaming internet services like Pandora. So I know my Sonos can connect to the internet.
Rebooting the Sonos doesn't resolve the problem. Rebooting the router doesn't solve the problem. Shutting everything down, waiting an hour, and re-starting it doesn't solve the problem.
The only thing I have found that solves the problem is resetting the router to it's default configuration.... Which is strange, since I have changed none of the configuration of the router. But clearly a "factory reset" clears something that a reboot doesn't.
I don't use the WiFi on the FIOS router... I have an Apple Time Capsule downstream of the FIOS router, and the Apple Time Capsule acts as my WiFi access point. So any deficiencies in the FIOS wifi support don't apply.
The ActionTec does provide DHCP and NAT, and of course provides routing between my LAN and Verizon.
My FIOS router is an ActionTec MI424WR-GEN2, running Firmware Version 20.10.7.5. My Sonos setup includes a ZP90 (Hardware version: 1.1.16.4-1, running software version: 3.3, build 14433290) and a ZoneBridge (Hardware version: 1.5.0.0-1, running software version: 3.3, build 14433290).... i.e. all current revs.
I am stumped by this problem, because *most* functions of the Sonos work when I have the problem (including other internet streaming), and internet radio works fine from other devices. If it were a DHCP problem I would expect my Sonos to lose ALL internet connectivity, but that isn't happening.
Any clues or suggestions?

spacedebris, the Sonos has a ZoneBridge which is wired (ethernet) to the Time Capsule (which, despite the name, is not only a network attached storage device but also an ethernet bridge and wifi hotspot.) The Sonos Zoneplayer connects wirelessly to the Sonos ZoneBridge.
While it is possiblle, I doubt that the problem is with the Sonos connectivity to the LAN. I can ping it, connect to it from the Sonos controller (actuall the Sonos controller App on iPad, iPhone, and laptop, which all work), it can access my music collection from my network attached storage (different device than the Time Capsule), and it can access Pandora streaming music over the internet.

Trouble with iDVD 6.0 after upgrading OS X

Help I have just applied the Mac OS X combo update to 10.4.8, and now everytime I access - i.e. load - an existing iDVD project, I get "The application iDVD quit unexpectedly".
I did the OS update using the standalone installer download.
What should/can I do ?
NB: I get similar problems with iMovie 6.0.

Repairing Permissions would be the best first step as pointed out above.
Second step is to drag & drop the plist for iDVD to the trash. Use the finder (happy face on the dock) and copy and paste the following into it in order to locate the file/s:
com.apple.iDVD.plist
Third ....empty the trash.
Fourth ....run apple's software updater.
Fifth is to Restart your computer after you disconnect all external USB & FW devices (except keybrd & mouse).

Trouble with Quark and Autopage after 10.6 update.

After updating to 10.6 I have two problems. The first is that I can no longer "Collect for Output" in Quark 6.5 unless I uncheck the "Layout" button. This isn't as big a problem as the second.
Quark can no longer find Autopage. When I try running it, I get the message "329. Haven't yet located Autopage pagination server via Rendezvous - please try again. [10328]. I tried rebooting the computer and running just Quark and Autopage but get the same message. Any ideas on a fix for this? I have a deadline of Tuesday and if I can't get Autopage running, I'll have to repage close to 100 pages by hand.

10.6.5 introduced a couple of printing issues that have mostly been solved. We have a couple of Konicas but they use either Fiery in the case of the 8000 and Creo in the case of the BizHub for RIPping.
One the Bizhub with the Creo rip we would get a similar error when printing directly from the driver, but printing to the hold queue and setting the printing properties from the RIP would correct it. Run through the exact same settings to the print queue and get an error.
If you are using InDesign's Print Booklet feature one potential workaround would be to create a pdf with VipRiser VipRiser « Onflapp's Blog
Acrobat probably won't have that printing issue. If it does you could potentially just drop the PDF into a hot folder (assuming you have a separate RIP on the Konica. Otherwise a less than elegant way to get around it for the time being would be to print from your windows VM.

Is anyone having problems with the home button not working correctly after down loading ios6?

I haven't but try resetting...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart your iPad.
No data will be lost as a result of a reset.

Problems with Siri and Mail after upgrading

Siri will no longer do text command phones random people instead.
My yahoo mail after fetching shows updated days before and shows
Unread mail but won't show them logging into yahoo I have no unread mail??

Problems with libjpeg and libpng after upgrade

I recently did a full system upgrade and now a great amount of programs requiring the old versions of libjpeg (libjpeg.so.7) and libpng (libpng.so.12) do not launch. Currently installed are 8.2 for libjpeg and 1.4 for libpng. I did ldconfig, checked on several mirrors, my mirror and system are up to date. Did pacman -Syu each time. I read the archnews of Jan 31st, if I remember well, saying the rebuilds for new versions of these two libs were done and moving from testing to core. My mirrors were updated less than 24 hours ago. I simply cannot use most common packages such as emacs, vim, xulrunner for firefox, and so on...
I use only packages from the repos (no AUR) and a few home-compiled softs.
Did I miss something ? I've been using Arch since october '09 and this never happened. Should I downgrade to the older versions of these libs ?

Hey dude, I'm having a lot of torubles from my last upgrade too!
I installed libpng12 and libjpeg7 from AUR. Also I uninstalled cairo-lcd from AUR and then reinstalled the original extra/cairo package. That solve some things, but I'm still unable to run Docky and Nautilus doesn't show SVG icons.
