TS2755 why have we deleted all saved messages and the iphone 4s sitll says 6GB is devoted to messages. I have seen this question asked numerous times but Apple seems to be ignoring it.
Can't update the Iphone operating system because 6.8 GB is devoted to messages despite the fact that all messages have been deleted. Did a reset, back up and restore, still 6.8 GB allocated to messages.
The local Verizon store, which is a company store, just said to back up and restore with itunes, but that didn't work.
I have seen this question asked on support community blogs and various people have suggested different solutions, some very technical that involve changing settings on the backups saved on Itues files on your PC and lots of posts from people saying it worked for me, but many others saying no, that didnn't work.
It seem utterly irresponsible for Apple not to publish a fix that actually works. With what you have to pay for these phones, it's ridiculous.

I have a phone 3g and everytime I go to open facebook or bejewelled blitz it will not load. It crashes and then the screen goes black for a few seconds before going back to the home screen. I have uninstalled this app and reinstalled it on a few occassions but now it will not even go the facebook homepage. It sometimes also happens with other app.

When I plug in iPhone (5.1.1) to computer, playlists show up on the iPhone (when plugged in), that do not appear when it is not plugged in. And I can't erase them. I have iTunes match, and deleted all my music on the iPhone, but that had no effect on the phantom playlist that shows up on the PC when I plug in the iPhone to the PC. I cannot manually move songs or playlists from the PC to the iPhone
Help greatly appreciated.Unplug your Iphone out of your computer and replug it back in. It took me several times before I could do this

I updated ipad 4.3 to io7 but now when I go to set up it keeps asking me to restore - I have done this from itunes several times but it still gets stuck at this point in set up - help!
All media and apps should be in iTunes on the computer. Simply select the content desired to sync to the device and sync it.
FYI, backups have never included media or apps.

I have updated my iphone 5 with IOS7. Now there is an update 7.0.2 on my cell and the size of update file is showing around 21.0 MB. I tried to update it ITunes but it seems it is downloading the entire IOS. Is there any separate update for the same or I have to download the entire IOS again?
Well when you download the update with iTunes it will always download the whole new version (in your case 7.0.2) even if its just an bug fix. If you already have 7.0 download the update over-the-air.
You already wrote that the update is only 21 MB, so its not the whole firmware package of 7.0.2 you get with iTunes. -
my apple id account has been disabled for security reasons. I have re-set my password numerous times but the system still will NOT let me sign in. It continues to say your account has been disabled.
CALL
1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753) let them know and they will helo you enable the account. even if you change the password 50 times the account will stay disable till you call them

4. YOU must RESTART your computer regardless of what the prompt states at this point in time
5. Then when you have successfully completed shutdown/ restart and your computer reboots to normal operation…
6. You may receive or you may not receive a prompt stating that something new has been installed on your computer
7. If you receive a prompt after restart follow the prompt and do as it instructs you to.

Why does iTunes delete all my music and then re-download (not all of) it when I sync?
So, I plugged my phone into my PC, and it loaded on the iTunes screen. I then went into the device and removed a couple of playlists from the phone (it had run out of space). When I then hit sync, rather than just removing the playlists and syncing to update anything that needed updated, it bloody well deleted ALL my music and then started downloading it again. We are talking about around 30-50GB of music. Not only this, but it appears to NOT download all the tracks on my playlists so I'm left with half the music I should have.
I have had this happen before and last time it totally screwed up my phone leaving me with the only option of completely reinstalling iOS7. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it fixable? Not only this, but I am aware of "manage music manually" but have no idea where it is or how to activate it. I'm just bloody sick of apple! Why can't they get their **** together and fix these little bugs. I love their hardware but they clearly have too many ego driven tossers programming their software who don't think fixing issues is their problem!
Any help would be most appreciated as it's driving me up the bloody wall! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!I'm not sure why this happens, but I found a workaround. Below the album title it will list the artist(s). The issue seems to happen when there are multiple artists. For example, an Album titled "Over the Sea to Skye" has The Chieftains and James Galway as artists. Some tracks (for whatever reason) will list only one of these and result in the playlist showing what appears to be multiple albums. You can click on the artists and it will highlight. Paste in what is appearing on the other "albums" and it will then show as one:
Hope that is somewhat clear enough to help. Doesn't fix whatever the issue is but it is a workaround. For me this is only happening with CD's that I have imported. -
I'm so confused! The pop-up message says, "Are you sure you want to sync books? All existing books on the iPhone will be replaced wth books from your iTunes library." I have scores of books in Kindle. Would those be wiped out?? Thanks for your advice.

Why is macmail deleting all inbox messages after a month?
I am using Mail 3.6 with Mac OSX version 10.5.8 on a Macbook. A few months ago, Macmail started deleting any messages in my inbox that were a month or more old. I've checked everything in Preferences and there seem to be no rules which are making this happen. I've checked with my email provider (Demon) and they say it isn't a problem at their end. Can anyone help?

Why are my deleted emails saving in 'my pictures' as a PDF adobe when they should have been in my deleted email file not saved
in my pictures??????I deleted emails from my windows emails and when I went into my pictures there was all my recently deleted items as pdf adobe files and I cannot right click and delete. But why would my deleted emails be going to my pictures in the first place. So i think it must be in how the adobe program is set up and need to know how to change the settings so my deleted emails are not sent to my pictures.I do not know what other details you would require?

Why can't I delete all incoming messages at once without having to select each one first. It can be done while in the "Trash" folder, but not the "IN" folder.
Well, what I see happing is this: Tapping edit and checking the first message brings up the “Delete” option. Holding it until the red message “Delete Message” appears, then letting go of the red button and tapping the checked button makes the “Delete Message” message go away. The checked message is still checked with an option to delete just that message. Tap the checked message again just cancels the whole process and I’m back to square one.
However, if I check a message that is part of a thread of messages and tap Delete, I have the option of deleting all messages in the thread.
Perhaps the fact that I’m using the 3rd generation of the iPad is the problem, but your suggestion isn’t working. -
I deleted all my messages, yet in my usage it still says saved messages? How do I permanently delete them to free up space? Thanks!
If you've already deleted your messages and it's saying this, that means you have corrupted data.
Sync your contacts & calendars to iCloud, copy your photos to your computer, and then restore the phone & set it up as new (don't restore your backup). Thats' teh only way to get rid of this. -

Why cant i delete all my inbox email messages together?, I'm using my iPhone 5s, i can delete all my junk email messages together but not my inbox email messages, i have to individually tick each inbox message one at a time tick/delete, its extremely annoying, it doesn't make any sense, can anyone please explain why such an obviously much needed function has been left out for email inbox messages but included only for junk email messages?
