WebService operation that has a colon(:) in part of the request

Question

I have a webservice talking to Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web
Service.
I can do a GetItem,DeleteItem and a FindItem operation.
However when I get to the UpdateItem operation, it appears that
a colon in one of the values is somehow getting messed up and
Exchange won't take it. I don't use Livecycle for this webservice.
Since all the operations work, the only thing I see odd is
the FieldURI attribute has a colon in it as required by the schema.
Any ideas? Is there some escaping I need to do?

click start button>control panel>programs>uninstall programs>ps cc
if your cc app continues to show ps cc is up-to-date after it's uninstalled, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed
