Hi,
The 0FIGL_C01 cube fetches the data from 0FI_GL_1 datasource. The 0FI_GL_1 does not support delta updates.
The 0FIGL_C10(new) is based on the datasource 0FI_GL_10 which supports delta loads.

Balance sheet report - cube 0FIGL_C10 (NW04s)

I am creating a balance sheet report using 0GL_ACCOUNT as a hierarchy. The infoprovider is 0FIGL_C10.
The 0GL_ACCOUNT hierarchy has nodes:
-> Stockholder's equity
 --> Profit/loss current year
 --> Calculated profit
 --> Calculated loss
The nodes Calculated profit & Calculated loss have no leaves, so these hierarchy nodes don't show in query. However they show on ECC report.
What is the link?
I ran a delivered quey for virtual cube 0FIGL_V11 which uses 0GLACCEXT (financial statement item) and these nodes still don't show.

Description of problem
- The P&L statement node amount is supposed to roll up to the Profit/Loss current Year node in the balance sheet
- If amount is a profit, amount goes to calculated profit node
- If amount is a loss, amount goes to calculated loss node
- When I run a balance sheet report the Profit/Loss current Year node does not show at all. I assume because no data for leaves.
- When the customer runs a FS report in ECC, they see the Profit/Loss current Year node
- Also, the chart of accounts used is WACA, but the leaf forcalculated profit is 0COA0BRESULT 2A and the leaf for calculated loss is 0COA0BRESULT 1A.
- Where does this config take place in ECC for the FS hierarchy? I went into ECC and looked at FS item versions and don't see an item under calculated profit or loss.
- The customer expects these leaves to appear in query result. I am trying to determine if some config is required in ECC for FS item or do I need to perform calculation in query
- Not FI savvy

Best Practices for install InfoCube 0FIGL_C10 BI 7.3

We are currently in BI 7.3 and there is a new cube using table FAGLFLEXT from FIGL, does anybody has the best practices on how to install this cube step by step, from datasource / psa / ods / cube.

OLTP SIDE
First Install BC DS in ECC or OLTP side.
execute transaction RSA5 look for 0FI_GL_10 in the hierarchy.
Select it and click on transfer DataSources.
Then have a look in RSA6 and check if it has been transfered.
BW SIDE
Then in BW replicate DataSources for ECC / R/3 System
After that activate Business Content (BW)
In the BW System, choose Business Content
Select Edit source system assigment select the relevant one for you ECC, R/3 ....
In grouping select first "only necessary objects " to install your catalogues otherwise you will retrieve your IO in unassigned nodes.
select Object type
clik on InfoObject catalog look for
0FIGL_CHA01 FIGL: Characteristics
0FIGL_KYF01 FIGL: Key Figures
Click on install
After you have activated your infoObject catalogue change the grouping mode, select "in data flow before"
Click on InfoCube, look for 0FIGL_C10
insert object for selection and install
After that go under infosources in the modeling area and look for the infoarea 0FIGL_ERP find your infosource activate transfer rules and proceed to a normal uplaod with init delta etc...

Infobject missing in 0FIGL_C10

Hi All,
We hae implemented NEW GL Functiionality in our SAP 6.0.
For reporting this into BW 7.0 I have installed the Business content of Infucbe 0FIGL_C10 , ODS 0FIGL_O10.
The System has installed the 3.x datasource and structure and there are some characteristics are missing in ODS and Infocube,but present in DataSource.
I have manged to insert some of them in the Trsanfer structure>ODS>Infcube.
But i am not able to find the BW info object for the follwing fields that are present in Datasource .
FI-SL Business Transaction               ACTIV
Base Unit of Measure                    RUNIT
Ledger in General Ledger Accounting          RLDNR
Company ID of trading partner               RASSC
Partner Segment for Segmental Reporting          PSEGMENT
Please suggest the BW inf Object if you know .
And also why this Business content got loaded in 3.x format and not in 7.0 format with transfer rules and DTP sructure ???

HI,
I am assuming that you have installed the Business Contenet Objects, which has TR and UR. You will have to migrate the DS to BI7 version in the T-Code RSDS. Then migrate the Transfer and update rules to Transformatons.
For the coressponding IOBJs not being present in the DSO and Cube, you can search for an appropriate IOBJ in t-code RSD1and use it in the InfoProviders. If you are not able to find any suitable IOBJ, then you can create a custom IOBJ and use it in the flow.

Problem to install 0FIGL_O10 (0FIGL_C10)

I want to install 0FIGL_C10. I replicated DataSource 0FI_GL_10 from FI Source System and now trying to install 0FIGL_O10. In simulation I get error "Infoobject 0COSTCENTER is not available in version A". What I should to do?

The InfoAreas are essentially folders for organization of objects. If you install 0COSTCENTER to the undefined (NODESNOTCONNECTED) it will have no affect on the activation of your InfoCube. The only affect that it will have is that you won't necessarily be able to find it quickly in the future because it's in a default InfoArea.
You can also, if you so choose, create your own InfoAreas to put InfoObjects and other objects into. In fact, most BW installations that I've worked on have used custom InfoAreas instead of the standard content InfoAreas, because they wanted them to make sense to their particular business.

0FI_GL_10 --> 0FIGL_O10 --> 0FIGL_C10
This is how data flows in New G/L
RBUSA (Business area) field is there in datasource (0FI_GL_10)
U have to add 0BUS_AREA to DSO (0FIGL_O10)... In transformation between 0FI_GL_10 and 0FIGL_O10, map fields RBUSA to 0BUS_AREA.
Then add 0BUS_AREA to Cube (0FIGL_C10)... In transformation between 0FIGL_O10 and 0FIGL_C10, map fields 0BUS_AREA to 0BUS_AREA.

0FIGL_C10 and its remote cube

Hi all,
I installed cube 0FIGL_C10 and it came with a remote cube. I would like to execute a query from the remote cube but i cannot seem to execute a query. how do i execute a query from the remote cube, and how does data come in a remote cube?

For General Ledger (New): Balances Cumulated, Comparison with Previous Year it says that When you call up the query, you must enter the posting period until which the cumulated account balances are to be displayed for the specified posting period and the previous posting periods of the selected fiscal year.

the client requires to modify infocube 0FIGL_C10 add infoobject '0calday' in it. Please tell me how to do this and with which datasource I should map it .

Select the Infocube , right click and select 'change'. You can then add 0calday in the Time Dimension.
As for mapping 0calday with a corresponding field in the data source - this requirement will be business driven. Does the business want you to store data as well as produce results from the info cube based on
- Document date
- Creation date
or any other date.
You will have to map that particular field from the DS to the 0calday info object in the cube.

0FIGL_C01 or 0FIGL_C10

Hi,
I need to install InfoCubes for FI from "BI Content". There are 0FIGL_C01 and 0FIGL_C10 there. The first was developed by SAP in year 2001 and the second - in 2004. So both are not very new software but both are offered by SAP. Which of these two is better to install?

Hi,
0FIGL_C10 is based on the DS 0FI_GL_10 and the other one is for the DS 0FI_GL_1 or 6. depending on your R/3 version.
If you are on ECC 6 with the new GL Concept enabled, then you will have to go for 0FIGL_C10 as this gets the data from the table FAGLFLEXT. whereas 0FI_GL_6 /1 gets the data from GLT0 which does not get populated with the new GL Concept.

Preferable grouping in installing 0FIGL_C10

Hi, all!
I need to install 0FIGL_C10 from "BI Content". It will be the first object installed from "BI Content" and I don't have any experience with FI. I am going to use "In Dataflow Before and Aftwrds" grouping for installation. Is it preferable grouping for me?

0FI_GL_10 is the standard content DataSource that is the extractor for the data that will eventually get loaded into the 0FIGL_C10 InfoCube. This should be activated on your ECC environment and replicated into BW.
0FIGL_O10 is a DataStore Object (DSO) that is an intermediate repository to store data before being loaded to the 0FIGL_C10 InfoCube. This will be in the BI Content, in BW, under DSOs.
The Update Rules for 0FI_GL_10 -> 0FIGL_O10 and 0FIGL_O10 -> 0FIGL_C10 are in the BI Content in BW too. If you're migrating the 0FI_GL_10 to a 7.x DataSource, when replicating in BW, then you will want to convert these Update Rules to 7.x Transformations too.

0FIGL_C10(new) vs 0FIGL_C01

Hi,
Can anybody tell me whats the diff between these cubes 0FIGL_C10(new) and 0FIGL_C01? are they the same? if so, why is that i have a option to go ahead with either one of them? I see a many cubes and ODS in FIGL content as (new). Does that mean the old ones are obsolete?
Any help or pointer is appreciated and will be fully rewarded.

Cube 0FIGL_C10 cannot be used with datasource 0FI_GL_4.
datasource 0FI_GL_4 brings line items like BELNR (Accounting document number) and BUDAT (Posting date in the document).
But the Cube 0FIGL_C10 is designed for aggregated data like GL Account and Period.
for this cube there is another data source 0FI_GL_10.

FI GL 0FIGL_C10 Infocube and 0FI_GL_14 datasource

Hi experts!
In FI GL we will use the 0FIGL_C10 Infocube. We need to report at "cost center" level and at "functional area" level. But
we also need to use other levels in the Product Hierarchy, even at material level
How can we add the material in that cube?
I've read thar the flow is 0FIGL_C10 Infocube, then 0FIGL_O10 DSO, then 0FI_GL_10 infosource and finally 0FI_GL_10 datasource.
But that datasource doesn't have the material. I've also read that the new 0FI_GL_14 datasource has new data, like the "Accounting document number"... Does anybody know if it is posible to add the material also, and how?
Can i use the new datasource (0FI_GL_14) instead the old one (0FI_GL_10)?

0FIGL_C10 Manually Added GL not showing values

Hi Guys,
I am working on 0FIGL_C10.
We needed some external data to be loaded in this cube. So have created dummy GL's and loaded to the cube with its debit postings externally.
But these values are not being displayed in the report.
I have added chat of accounts in the Ztable from which I am loading above values, as COA is compounding attribute to 0GL_Account. But in query when I check with "Characteristic Relationship" my GL's have "#" as COA.
Could you please tell me what I need to do to get posting values in the report.

I have tried that. Data is there in the list cube. But when I run the query with that KF and GL. The data is not appearing. When I tried restricting it with that GL, it is compounded with #/<GL_ACCOUNT>. And the posting against it is blank.

GL Accounting (New) 0FIGL_C10, 0FIGL_R10, 0FIGL_V10

Hi Gurus,
I need your help to setup 0FIGL_R10 and 0FIGL_V10 based on 0FIGL_C10. I've never worked on Virtual Cubes before. I did these steps below kindly guide me if I am on the right track:
1. Installed 0FIGL_C10, 0FIGL_R10 and 0FIGL_V10 also ODS: 0FIGL_O10.
2. Loaded data from 0FI_GL_10 then INIT w/o Data Transfer to 0FIGL_O10 then Update ODS to 0FIGL_C10 (initial update) the loading was successful for 0FIGL_C10.
3. What's next? I've read some of the posts here about when you right-click 0FIGL_R10 there should be an option "Activate direct access" however, when I do that I only find Generate Export DataSource. Is there also a difference with the setup with 0FIGL_V10?
4. Installed all the necessary Business Content objects already (ex. queries)
Secondly, when I installed 0FIGL_R10 and 0FIGL_V10, there were small icon beside it that says '3rd' while in 0FIGL_C10 it says 'R/3'. I'm bit confused here what's this for?
Third, based on SAP Help, DataSource for this new GL includes 3FI_GL_xx_TT, do I need to implement this? What's the difference between the data that I am getting from 0FI_GL_10?
I will assign points that will satisfy my confusion.

Regarding your reply, yes the reporting requirements needs all these objects, at first I installed only the cube 0FIGL_C10 but then they also need Profit and Loss which can be found on the Remote cubes V10, R10. Actually, I have another question about it because they also need reports for Fixed Assets which can be found in the old GL 0FIGL_C01. Will it be redundant if I used this object or is this data can be found on the new FIGL_C10? Sorry I am not really familiar with Finance side.
With regards to no.2, my purpose here is to setup an InfoPackage to load Delta Update. However, you said that you presume that there are no data records loaded when I did the INIT w/o data transfer. I am a little bit confused because I checked my ODS and there are transferred records and added records. What is the ideal setup to load data when there should be a delta update too? Then when I 'Update ODS in data target to 0FIGL_C10, I used Initial Update too and there are records transferred too. Is this procedure correct?
With regards to no.3, I don't see Activate Direct Access only Generate Export DataSource when I right-click 0FIGL_V10 so I presume I need to Generate Export DataSource then replicate my BW system, then look for the 80FIGL_V10 in InfoSource then what's next? How can I know if it is actually connected to 0FIGL_C10 in which I checked the FM RS_BCT_FIGL_DATA_GET_VC10 and it was defined in Import tab, I_BASIC_INFOPROV - '0FIGL_C10'.
With 0FIGL_R10, I can Assign Source System so whenever I do the query will it automatically call from my source system?
