0PA_C01 still old flow why, what is recommended practice

Hi Experts,
We are at the juncture to create a new flow for 0PA_C01 (Cube and objects below it).
Even with BW 735 Content I see old dataflow means Infosources, Transfer and Update rules. Does anyone have implemented 7.X flow or Migrated to 7.x from 3.X. if so can you please explain what procedure you followed. (I am not asking BI content installation procedure rather which approach you have taken - Install 7.x version directly or 3.x migration).
Seems we dont have any other option than to install 3.x from latest BW 735 content, if this is the case, did somone try to convert the flow entirely from 3.x to 7.x, means eliminating infosources from the picture and replace with transformations directly from Datasources.

We did install business content as it is i.e. 3.x flow with Infosources, Transfer and Update rules. Here make sure that 'Start' routine and all routines in transfer rules/Update rules installed properly.
(The standard routines reads master data of 0EMPLOYEE, to populate fields like Gender, Nationality, Language,Age in Years,Country key,County Code,Region (State, Province, County),Postal Code etc..)
Now with this 3.x data model, do data validation. Once you are okay with data, then start migrating model to 7.x.
We have below flow.
Datasource (migrated version) --> Transformation --> Infosource --> Transformation (manage start routine and other routines and read master data) --> Cube
Since these two datasources does not support delta, data loads should be daily delete and full load.

Recommended practice for handling page level validation?

I'm wondering what the recommended practice is for handling what I would call "page level validation?"
For example, I have two text boxes. Either one text box or the other must have a non-null value. If they are both null, I want the page validation to fail and redisplay the page the same way it would if validation for a particular field failed. However, I don't want the message that is posted to be associated with either of the two text boxes. I want it to use some other unique ID because I want to display the error text at a location that is different than for either of the text box error messages.

The reason I don't want to use a custom converter is because I'm using a custom tag/renderer which aggregates several HTML input components and has complex conversion logic. Maybe I could chain things together, but, a converter should be used for conversion not validation. Secondly, I don't understand why validation occurs after conversion. This seems backward to me.
One hack that I tried which almost worked was to create a custom tag/rendererer that was an input component, but, had no visible UI. I made that component always have a value which caused the validator to always be called. I made it so that it accepted a method binding as an input so that you could specify which validation method was called. I checked the component values for the components of interest using UIInput.getValue(). However, I ran into what might be a bug. Everything worked fine as long as the value changed to a non-null value. When the value was set to null, UIInput.getValue() was returning the old value instead of null. The strange thing is that the bean property that the component was bound to, ultimately was changed to null as I would have expected to. The problem was that UIInput.getValue() was returning the old value instead of null.
My current solution which isn't ideal is by using code similar to the following in my action method that my form submit button calls.

Note, I had to create my own custom tag/renderer equivalent of h:message because I couldn't get h:message to work. h:message couldn't find the message that I posted.
The down side to doing it this way is that the validation is occurring after the validation phase. Hence, the error message isn't displayed at the same time as other error messages. Furthermore, if you have more than one button on the form, you'd have to do the check for each action method.
This is really stupid. I can't believe something that should be so simple is so difficult in JSF. I'm planning on taking a closer look at ASP.NET. I'm pretty sure all you have to do in ASP.NET is override a method to do this and you have access to all the form controls as variables within the Page object. i.e. no having to lookup the controls using a method and a client ID.

Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID.

As long as iMessage is enabled and the old phone is connected to a WiFi access point, it will continue to receive iMessage texts. It won't receive non-iMessage texts nor will it receive any calls.

Error 1328 when updating Acrobat Pro XI. Already did what Adobe recommended and uninstalled and reinstalled from my DVD. Still get Error 1382.

I have Windows 7 Pro with Acrobat Pro XI. I keep getting Error 1328 when trying to update Pro XI. Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Macbooks are only supported if the're late 2008 Alu or early 2009 or later:
The OP may have an early 2008 Macbook. You have a Macbook Pro, which is different.

go to system administration-system configuration-webdynpro console-invalidate ARFC cache
or you can reimport model using another jco connection.

Mr. Churchill - First, to answer your last questions:
Yes, the movie is fully downloaded, all 3.69 GBs.
No the Apple TV has 127.5 GBs of its 144.63 GBs free.
Second, I tried turning the Time Capsule WiFi rounter and Apple TV off (for at least two or three minutes, not the usual 10 seconds recommended) and I still could not move the movie.
Third, I severed the link and set it up again re-synced all 5,103 items back and still when I move the movies to the Apple TV box and Apply it, after 35 seconds it stops the sync and moves it back the the Rented Movies box.
Though I have set my Apple TV to sync with my MacBook Pro I cannot find a way to connect it to other than shared library, but not the "not shared library" (Is this what the Rented Movies are?). Is what Fletch is talking about int the "Rental Movies not showing up on Apple TV" discussion my problem and a solution?

there are three possibilities: you have not upgraded to version 2.0 or in Summary on the ATV device in iTunes, you should look whether you have it set up to only sync or otherwise disables movie syncing, or you have not paired your Mac to the ATV (on your tv, settings/computers/connect to itunes library - not shared library)

I really can't comprehend the logic that leads to believe that password for old apple id will come to e-mail for new id. Buy may be I just misunderstood something. Contact Apple for assist with password retrieval. If you can verify yourself as account owner they may be able to help you.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I am having a similar odd issue. First of all this summer i took my iphone 4 to apple because my screen had quit. I could hear calls and texts coming thru but screen was unresponsive. I was a month out of warranty so the nice fella at apple gave me a 30 day warranty, then replaced my handset with a refurb. Saturday night at dinner i was on my phine and it died. I plugged it in thinking nothing of it and went to bed. When i wooe up after the charger had been on all night all i had was the black screen with the battery (red) and lightning bolt, meaning it knew it plugged in but still did nothing. So off to apple i go. They said i was out of warranty and the problem (never said what problem) would cost 170 bucks to fix. So i went and upgraded to the iphone 5 ( figured if i'm spending that anyways may as well be on a new phone). When I got home i tinkered with the old one with all the online suggestions i could find. (Cleaning ports, hard reset, putting into recovery mode, and checking indicators for water damage which there was none). Still only saw the battery symbol. I left it alone figuring i can sell off cheap and someone else can repair. Last night for kicks i plugged it in again and it came to life! It is in recovery mode (needs to be hooked to itunes to regain functionality) but showed 100% battery charge. I went to show my bf and realized an issue. If its not plugged into the wall adaptor, it wont turn on. I figured then that if i can get it plugged in and pull it up on itunes maybe it would be fine. When plugged into the computer it wont hold enough power. It thrns on shows the apple for 30 seconds, shuts off. My ending conclusion on my own is that it needs a new battery in order to be revived. Anyone think this sounds like a reasonable conclusion? Or will i be wasting money? If i can get it restored to functional, cheaply i can give to my bf (his pos lg phone is almost toast) or sell it.
