1:n mapping in ccBPM fails !!

Hi
We have requirement to split a message(a master structure that has data for multiple IDOCS of multiple IDOC Types) into 'n' IDOCs using multi-mapping. The mapping program works fine in Message Mapping & Interface Mapping test tabs. We see 1 message getting split into n IDOCS.
However , when ccBPM calls this mapping from transformation step , we do not see a output. All the multi line containers are empty(thats wat we could see from the workflow log).
We are stuck with no proper trace messages to look at . Any ideas how to resolve this ? we r on SP9 , N:1 mapping call works and a scenario configured for aggregating n IDOCS into 1 message succeeds, but not the reverse !!!
Thanks

    1)  Select Message Mapping and  go for F7 and check is it correct  and test manually  by give values if possible  try to  paste the Pay load of the actual data  and test it  whether the Mapping  is Sucess
    2) Select the Interface Mapping  and Go for F7 and check  whether it  is correct. Check once  again  the Outbound / inbound Message Types

  • Maps OTA update fails, X6

Every time I've tried to update the maps OTA it fails. Other apps have updated fine. I'd really like to get the latest version, I don;t have a cable at the moment for updating from PC.

You need to uninstall the older version first from settings>application manager and start the update again. Just to let you know map data of other countries, voice and drive guidance you downloaded before will be deleted. Synchronise your directions, landmarks etc with Ovi before performing the update. Good luck.

  • Java mapping in ccBPM works in PI 7.0 but fails in PI 7.1

    Hi guys,
at the moment we are upgrading form SAP PI 7.0 to SAP PI 7.11.
In a scenario for processing of incoming orders we use an ccBPM.
In this ccBPM there is an mapping where the original xml document of the order are combined with some
additional information form an web service (multi mapping 2 => 1)
The result of this mapping is processed further to create an sales order in the backend.
The multi mapping an java mapping is used.
Now we are testing the scenario with PI 7.11 and it fails at this mapping step.
in the workflow log following error occurs.
An exception with the type CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT occ urred, but was neither handled locally, nor de
    Message no. W8899
I tested the same message on out SAP PI 7.0 system and the whole ccBPM works well.
When I extract the 2 messages from workflow log and paste them into the test tab of the operation mapping of Enterprise Service Builder of SAP PI 7.11, surrounding by the envelope used by multi mappings
    <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
       <ns0:Message1>
                   XML MESSAGE 1
       </ns0:Message1>
       <ns0:Message2>
                   XML MESSAGE 2
       </ns0:Message2>
    </ns0:Messages>
the mapping works without error, but at runtime it fails, throwing the error mentioned above.
What could be the reason for this error?
Does the multi mapping change in PI 7.11 at runtime?
Could it be a problem parsing the multi message?
    Any help appreciated.
    Kind regards
    Jochen

    Hi Raja,
    thanks for your suggest.
I know this issue, the java class files are compiled using jdk 1.5.
    We made some more tests.
e.g. created an dummy ccBPM with two mappings, one two spilt the incoming message in two messages (graphical message mapping) and one to merge this two messages to one message again (java mapping)
the mapping works at design time on test tab, but fails with the same error at rumtime.
Also we tested one single operation mapping with this two mappings (split via graphical mapping and merge via java mapping)
This works also at design time but fails at runtime with a similar error shown in smq2
The error message is Error ST_MATCH_FAIL occured. P1=element-start P2=M
we tried to add the whole incoming message to the trace by
    getTrace().addWarning()
but an trace object is never created in for this step in the workflow log.
it seem whether you can not add trace messages using the command or that the error occures before this command will be used.
    Kind regards

  • Vlan mapping lost when fail to secondary WLC

    Hello
I have two WLCs,The primary WLC mode 5508 ,running code is 7.4.100.60, The secondary WLC mode 4402,running code is 7.0.230.0.
When ap working on 5508 wlc,it use flexconnect mode, when ap working on 4402, it will h-reap mode
    ap mode:1242、1142.
    question:
When ap fail to secondary WLC(4402),some ap will lost their vlan mapping information.not all of ap.  during fail over, ap will doanloading firmware.
is there any way to solve? thanks!

I understand. Two controllers, two different code levels. 4400 is locked in at 7.0 code and you need 7.4 for the 2600 ap.
In your orginal post you state when aps fail over from one controller to the other you lose vlans and aps code upgrade/down grade. This is not a support deisgn. You cant properly failover betwen different code versions.
If you want them to stop failing over and clients dont roam from aps on controler to 1 to aps on controller 2, simple remove the controllers from the shared mobility group and put the controllers in their own group.

  • X6 Update to Maps 3.06 fails

    Hi,
every time i try to update to the new maps version it comes up with an error.
When doing with Ovi Suite FW Update window: Update failed - try again.
With downloaded .sis file: Could not find file or something like this?
I do not know.... but a bit more detailed error messages would possibly help.
It seems that Nokia does not offer any software that works 100%.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Error comes when the older version of maps is still there, before updating to new version it is better to uninstall the older version first.

  • Review: N97 with Maps 3.1 fail.

    http://www.nokiausers.net/General/Family-Road-Trip-with-Ovi-Maps-3.0-The-Nokia-N97.html

as i see it, i want a device as its advertised.
not paying for an additional internet connection over my provider!
gps should work on its own.
and the review shows a perfect example for this.
the review is in some village and in the nature of finland. there is no
internet access all the way for 300 km. so your phone should work with its
internal gps only. no car-navigation needs gps for getting a sat fix.
my n95 and e71 worked without a-gps too. why doesnt the n97?
another example is my sport. im sitting in a sailplane, gliding in the bavarian alps.
6000 feet and higher, there is absolutely no internet or network available.
i want my device logging the flight and giving me exact coordinates and routes with
altitude and speed over sportstracker (which worked perfect on my other phones!).
but i cant use the n97 for this.
i cant make my winch-start depening on the time my n97 gets its first sat fix, i would
wait for hours down on the ground! and then in the air, i dont want it to loose its fix constantly.
and to be honest, i dont want to start fiddeling around with this device up in the air, i have to
concentrate on other things which could be dangerous for me (and others!)
    cheers.

  • Problem Performing 1:N multi-mapping in ccBPM

    Hi,
I am trying to work out this simple scenario with the help of BPM.
         1. The BPM is receiving a Collection of Purchase Orders(say PO_Collection consisting of N PO).
         2. The Message is split by Transformation state(1:N) to N POs.(PO is Multiline)
         3. I am using a Block mode ForEach. Inside the block I am Checking Vendor Number and Material Code For validity.
My problem is that the process is not entering the Block(I find it from the Workflow Graphic). But the Status is shown as Completed.
I am not using any End Condition or Correlation for the Block.
Please suggest what the problem can be and how to sort it.
    Regards,
    Dennis

    Hi denish ,
In sxmb_moni , select u r message , use outbound cannel from menu . , In toolbat button u will find some button for technical details. select that. This will give u option to see steps and container ( BPM variables) and its runtime contents.
u will here input and out put message.
select output message . in the bottom window u will get some length say 10. click right button and select messages here . If transformation works u will have multiple messages there .
I hopt i tried to explain , what I suggest if u lost use trial and error( not a better option than this ) to reach there .
hope u will able to debug the BPM.

  • CcBPM Process Number in the Message mapping

    Hi,
I  have a requirement to map the ccBPM's process number in which the Mapping error has occured to be mapped to a specific field in the target.  I wanted to know how could I pass the BPM's process number to the message mapping ( this message mapping(Service mapping) is a part of the same BPM).  If we could get the MESSAGE_ID of the message in the message mapping, we should also be getting the BPM Process number.
In other words, when an alert is triggered in BPM, we get the BPM process number in its subject, i need that BPM process number in to the message mapping where that message has to be stored in a table in ECC.
I have searched in help and SDN to check if some system properties can help, but i couldnt.  Any help/inputs from you is highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Kalpana.

    Hi Manuel,
it is very easy to to get the <b>Message ID</b>, which is unique and useful for selecting a message in the monitoring
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/b3/9a2aeb24dc4ab6b1855c99157529e4/content.htm">Special Access to Mapping Runtime Constants</a>
You send a mail from Java Mapping or, what would be the standard, (as additional) message from BPM or just as normal Message Receiver or only in Error case as Alert receiver.

  • CcBPM: can we resend the failed message from PI to R/3

    Hi All,
I have  a scenario where I need to process 4 separate files in a fixed sequenec in R/3. (File-1 first, then File-2, File-3 and then File-4). These files will come to PI at same time.
I understand CCBPM may be the only way to do it elegantly. (please advise if otherwise)
    My questions on CCBPM approach:
    1. If out of the 4 files, The first file fails to update data in R/3 (due to missing config), can I make the ccBPM to stop and not process other files.
    2. So approach in point 1 above means, ccBPM will have to wait for an acknowledgement from SAP or run some RFC command to check if data has actually been posted...am I right?
    3. Now, If the user manually corrects the config in R/3, can I re-run this interface from PI(read ccBPM) to start the processing of 1st file( which failed previously).
    4. If it succeeds to post data in SAP, then will ccBPM ensure that all other files are sent for processing as they all need to go in a sequence.
    5. Is this message re-running possible from SXI_MONITOR or for ccBPM failed messages there is something else. ( aplogies for this basic question - I am new to ccBPM approach )
    Appreciate your help on same.
    Many thanks
    SK

    Hi SK,
plz find all required informations at [SAP Help: Integraton Processes (ccBPM)|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/3c/831620a4f1044dba38b370f77835cc/frameset.htm]
And, yes, you are new to BPM, but obvisiously experienced in IT at all and additional familiar with SAP applications. Look forward to run your first BP, it is a very welcome satisfaction to see the checkered flag. Only the best drivers are going to see it

  • PI 7.11 mapping lookup - data enrichment - appropriate approach?

    Hi guys,
we just upgraded from PI 7.0 to PI 7.11.
Now I´m facing a new scenario where an incoming order have to be processed.
    (HTTP to RFC)
Furthermore each item of the order have to be enriched by data looked up in a SAP ERP 6.0 system.
the lookup functionality could be accessed during RFC or ABAP Proxy
With the new PI release we have several possibilities to implement this scenario, which are ...
    (1) graphical RFC Lookup in message mapping
    (2) ccBPM
    (3) using of the lookup API in java mapping
    (4) message mapping RFC Lookup in a UDF
Because of performance reason I prefer to make use of the Advanced Adapter Engine, if this is possible.
Further there should only one lookup request for all items of the order instead of each order item.
I tried to implement possiblity (1), but it seems to be hard to fill the request table structure of the RFC function module. All examples in SDN only uses simple (single) input parameters instead of tables. Parsing the result table of the RFC seems to be tricky as well.
Afterwards I tried to implement approach (3) using an SOAP adapter as Proxy with the protocol XI 3.0.
    (new functionality in PI 7.11)
But this ends up in a crazy error message so it seems that SOAP adapter could not used as proxy adapter in this case.
ccBPM seems also be an good and transparent approach, because there is no need of complex java code or lookup api.
So  the choice is not so easy.
What´s the best approach for this scenario??
Are my notes to the approach correct or do I use/interpret it wrong?
    Any help, ideas appreciated
    Kind regards
    Jochen

    Hi,
the error while trying to use the soap channel for proxy communication is ....
com.sap.aii.mapping.lookup.LookupException: Exception during processing the payload. Error when calling an adapter by using the communication channel SOAP_RCV_QMD_100_Proxy (Party: , Service: SAP_QMD_MDT100_BS, Object ID: 579b14b4c36c3ca281f634e20b4dcf78) XI AF API call failed. Module exception: 'com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: Unexpected length of element <sap:Error><sap:Code> = XIProxy; HTTP 200 OK'. Cause Exception: 'java.io.IOException: Unexpected length of element <sap:Error><sap:Code> = XIProxy; HTTP 200 OK'.
so this feature seems not to work for soap lookups, isn´t it.
    Kind regards
    Jochen

  • Image Map not working in Dreamweaver CC

I'm trying to create an image map over a jpeg but when I try to draw a rectangle over the image, a grey stroke gets placed over the image then moves with the cursor.
Here is the only code on the page. Any ideas as to why this isn't working?
    <img src="/SampleImage.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="2779" style="margin: 5px; width: 649px; height: 2000px;"/>

Let me see if I have this right...
    1. From Design View, you are clicking your image to select it
    2. You are then selecting the Rectangle tool from the bottom left of the Properties window
    3. You are then clicking and dragging on the image in Design View to create your map area
    4. DW puts a grey line around the image and moves it instead of adding the image map and area tags?
Run your page for code errors at http://validator.w3.org. I can't duplicate what you describe and DW will do strange things when code errors are present, it could be an error DW doesn't know how to fix that's causing the normal image map functionality to fail.
If you have clean code and are doing what I list above and it's still not working, it may be time to clear the program cache:Deleting a corrupted cache file

In Windows Event long I can see the following events logged:
    Event 3002, Port Map:
Windows(R) failed a request to register RPC Port Mapper on TCP port 111.  RPC Port Mapper cannot start.
Network File System (NFS) clients use RPC Port Mapper (also known as Portmap and Rpcbind) to discover NFS protocols on remote servers.  Without RPC Port Mapper, Server for NFS
cannot start and NFS clients cannot access files on this server.
Verify that no other software is registered on TCP port 111, then start Server for NFS manually (which will also start RPC Port Mapper).
    Event 7000, Service Control Manager:
The Server for NFS Open RPC (ONCRPC) Portmapper service failed to start due to the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
    Event 7001, Service Control Manager:
The Server for NFS Driver service depends on the Server for NFS Open RPC (ONCRPC) Portmapper service which failed to start because of the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
    Event 7001, Service Control Manager:
The Server for NFS service depends on the Server for NFS Driver service which failed to start because of the following error:
The dependency service or group failed to start.
Based on a technet forum I have already checked and made sure there is no other service running on port 111 (command used is netstat -a -b -o).
    Dependent Service Status:
During the installation process “Client for NFS” seems to have gone well and the service started successfully. But the “Server for NFS” failed, when checked for the status of the dependent process “portmap” service failed to start with the WIN32_EXIT_CODE
“31 (0x1f)”. Please find below the query result.

As the EXIT CODE is 31 ( A device attached to the system is not functioning), I have checked device manager and made sure there is no yellow warning shown against any hardware device. Further I am not sure how to proceed and debug this issue.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion on how debug this issue further.
    Thanks

My solution was to run netstat -ano to identify what process was running on port TCP/UDP :111, then with the command tasklist I got PID matching with the task name. Once identified I stopped the process, rebooted and installed
the NFS service. On top of that, before installing NFS services I disabled firewall and antivirus. It worked fine for me. I hope this will be usefull for you. By the way, don't forget to enable all process back!
    Have a good one!

  • Reg : Reprocessing of failed messages in SAP PI 7.3.1 Single Stack

    Hi All,
I am working on FILE to IDOC Interface. I have encountered a new problem today.
When we started testing this interface, the message were failing at the IDOC Adapter.
When I debuged the error, I found that, we were passing chars for a Date Field in IDOC.
I updated the mapping on the same and when I tested the Interface it works fine end to end.
However when I want reprocess the failed message from monitoring, the failed messages are being reprocessed from the point of failure and not from the beginning of Pipeline
Since the changes are made at the mapping , none of failed messages are being processed.Did any face the same issue and how did u guys resolve it. Can you please help me on this.
    Thanks
    Siva

    Hi Siva
That is the correct behavior in PI. Reprocessing of failed messages are always restarted from the point of failure and not the beginning of the pipeline.
If you want the messages to start at the beginning of the pipeline, you need to resend them, in your case, put the file in the source directory.
