1 SWF works all other 3 do not in IE

Folks,
This is my first time posting here and I can not seem to find
an issue to this problem...
Ok, I have a website that the main page has a flash header
that works just fine in both IE & FireFox; below that on the
body I have 3 small flash movies with just rotating images;
everything works just fine in FireFox; but in IE the bottom 3 do
not work or even show... But here is the funny part... if I start a
new page test.html and add the 3 movies in there using DW CS3 and
run it on it's own; then they work in both IE & FireFox... then
if I copy that code that works into the full page... the 3 stop
working in IE...

Yes without center it works fine on every browser I have
tested... Another thing I found out since my last message is that 1
single center works fine... but the second you have sub centers it
stops working in IE7...
I know there is a hand full of ways to accomplish this; but
here are some examples I used:

Seems like any time you add sub levels of alignment is stops
working in IE7... I know that instead of the div I could just use
table align center but it's flexible...

How to create a custom control of a button where the look will be applied to all others but not the Boolean text?

Hi all
I would like to create a customized button as a master so that if I change the look of the master all other buttons will change too.
I have done this with a custom control as a "strict type def" otherwise the look will not change BUT If I do this as a strict type def I cannot change the Boolean text anymore which should be different on every button.
How can I create a master control of a button where the look will be applied to all others but not the Boolean text?

As a workaround just make it a typedef. When you want to change the look open the typedef and make it strict, make your changes, then make it non strict again. You will have to update the Boolean text again for all instances. Kind of a pain. Maybe this is something for the idea exchange.

T400 HELP!!! Only Fn key functions work, all other keys do not!

Everything was working fine till i was in my browser and somehow hit spacebar only find that the screen has been magnified. From then on only keys with Fn function(light blue keys) worked; I have tried (Fn+Num Lk), (Fn+Scr Lk), (<right,left>shift+f10/f11), rolling back to previous backup, rebooting. Nothing works!! I tried these commands in the on-screen keyboard but there is no way to use the fn key, it does not have one. I have uninstalled the keyboard driver only for it to reinstall upon boot, it still does not work.
Only keys with the Fn function; Fn+F2(windows lock), Fn+F3(battery), Fn+F4(stand-by), Fn+F5(wireless), Fn+F7(presentation/screen display), Fn+F8(keyboard pointer and touch pad), Fn+F9(i don't know), F12(hibernate), scrLk(numLk), home(brightness+), end(brightness-), pg up(keyboard bulb), spacebar(magnify screen) and the think vantage blue button. Only these few work. All other neutral keys do not work. I'm not sure about PrtSc(sysRq) and pause(Break). I tried them but doesn't seem to respond
I have searched for all possible fixes, I am at an end if no one here is able to help me. I have deadlines coming up and am really desperate, HELP!!!

You may have a Thinkpad keyboard fault - fortunately the keyboards are field replaceable units.

Highlight tool not working - all other tools work

When using any "text" .pdf that is downloaded and fillable my highlight tool does not work. When I highlight text with the cursor then select the highlight tool the comments box indicates that the "highlight tool" has been used, but no color is added to the text. This occurs no matter what color highlighter I use, nor the opacity setting. All other tools (e.g. - underline tool, add text) are working perfectly. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I am using a Lenovo Windows 8.1 machine and running AcrobatReader 11.0. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.

It appears that this was a bug that was introduced in the latest update. Others have been able to resolve this issue by using the Acrobat Cleaner tool to uninstall and then reinstall Acrobat. You might try this if you have a few spare moments.
And can you please share the problem PDF which was working correctly in the earlier version.

My blackberry got ink at the top of the phone so I got a lightly wet tissue and cleaned the top part of the phone after I finished cleaning it, I recognised the keyboard stopped working. The touch screen still works but the physical keyboard and all other buttons have stopped working. Please help me, I really ened that phone for emergency uses, etc. I do not want to restore my phone so do not suggest that solution.
UPDATE: Right now I have my phone inside a bowl of uncooked rice.
UPDATE 2: 30 minutes later, I took the phone and rebooted it the keyboard still does NOT work but the trackpad can move up and down but when pressing it does nothing.
PLEASE HELP NEED URGENT HELP.

Qwertzuio not working - all other keys fine

Hi,
the aforementioned keys on my Air's internal keyboard have stopped to work. This has happened before, and it went away again. PRAM-Reset and Restart had not solved it at the time, I don't know what did.
Now they are dead again. Does anyone know how to reactivate them?

Loading Flash Paper swf causes all other button events to fail

Hi Everyone,
I have created a project with Flash which I am using Zinc to publish as a projector for both Macs and Pcs. Now, in this app I am loading a pdf document converted to a Flash Paper swf. The moment I load this swf file into my project, it appears as though all other button events fail. If I remove the code which loads in the flash paper swf, all buttons function as expected.
Can anyone please help me with a reason / solution for this?

Did that and there were no errors shown at any point, such as when publishing the .apk file.
I found a solution. I was under the impression I needed to use touch events for it to work on a tablet, and changing those to normal mouse events solved the problem. Still not sure why it wouldn't work the other way, but for now it works as needed.

Photo Stack swf works in IE but not Firefox

Would anyone know why the photo stack flash gallery won't work in Firefox? IE works fine. I'm fairly sure its just a bit of syntax i'm missing, or a compatibility issue.
I am using a .swf file which imports images in using an xm
l file and then displays them as a stack of photos which can then be rotated and looked through.

I export it as Flashplayer ver 6, and actionscript ver 1.0. Changing versions didn't make it work.

Apologies - I did not mean to post this twice - having
problems with my PC!

One computer "syncs" with dotMac - all others do not...

"Suddenly" my network of Macs don't seem to pick up any changes made on my main computer's iCal calendar. Also, all of the iCal programs have the "publish" command greyed out on all my Macs.
That might be a red herring as it may be that that is normal?
However, the main issue I'm having at the moment is that any changes I make on my main computer (upstairs, connected via ethernet cable to wds Airport Express if that makes a difference?) are published, then synced, but the other 3-4 other Macs will not change when they are 'synced' - nothing happens. The new entries do not appear.
Any ideas out there?
.Mac generally is trying my patience at the moment!!!!!
Hopeful for any advice - I have already reset .Mac following Apple Support guidelines - made no difference at all.

I'm having a similar problem. I recently updated the system on my main computer (iMac Intel 2.4 dual core) to OSX 10.5.2 from Tiger. When I post changes to my various calendars the changes "seem to" automatically publish - BUT those changes don't show up on my other computers. (Those computers are configured to update automatically, but just in case I refreshed manually - with no luck.) This is a new problem - prior to this I have had no problems with iCal. What's even weirder is that all my computers now seem to have "permission" to update ALL my various calendars - which I didn't know was even possible - and yet any one computer's changes don't show up on the other computers. It's as if the connection between the computers has been lost - even though other shared items continue to work in .Mac (sharing contacts for example). Another program that now misfires is iPhoto. I am now unable to create password protected albums via WebGallery. Final note: only one computer is running 10.5.2 - all others are still running 10.4.11. What a mess!

First one worked, all others not authorizing....

I bought one song and set up my iTunes
store account. That one works just fine.
The next day a buy more and none of them
will play. They seem to download just fine,
but "Get Info" doesn't show up the same as
the one that works. Tried to burn them to
a CD and error says that I'm not authorized
for the new songs.
I select a bad song and press Play and nothing
happens, no error, no login prompt, nothing.
I haven't change computer configurations, I
have my Music Library on a network shared drive,
same place as the one good song that works.
Tried deauthorizing computer, the bad songs
never prompt for a login. The good one does
and plays fine.
Tried logging out of the music store account
and back in, nothing changes.
What's the deal?

Url links in swf work in standalone, but not when opened in browser

I am currently using flash to create an electronic press kit.
In that, i have 2 links to youtube (since embedding the videos was
not an option, making the file too large), and one link to
yousendit for the viewer to be able to download a pdf file.
Now when i open the swf by double clicking on it (which i can
do, but when on another computer, that has flash player installed,
the swf will not open unless opened through a browser....not sure
if that is just something where you can open an swf strictly by
itself only if you actually have flash or what....that is another
issue), but anyways, when i open the swf by itself, the links work
correctly. once opened through a browser, the links do not work.

The reason the swf doesn't open up by itself on other
computers is that it needs a Stand Alone Flash Player to do so.
Most people have the Flash plug-in for their browsers, but not the
stand alone player. If you are sending it out as a self contained
file you need to make a Projector file. It contains the SA + swf in
one file, which adds weight. Also, you need to make a Windows one
and and a Mac one. If you are using CS3, I think you can make a
Abobe AIR app that is universal, granted you install the free AIR
plug-in controlls for Flash ( I THINK. My knowlege is not totally
up to date) .
As for the links not working in the browser, its seems like
they should work. Your posted link for the file is broken, so
couldn't see. What is your code for the buttons? Are you calling
JavaScript in your html page? I've had problem with that usually a
syntax error or IE.

Swf works fine in flash, not in browser??

I have a swf that has a video playlist. All the videos are
visible at once and it will go through playing one at a time. works
fine when I test it I test it in flash but in the browser the
videos start playing erratically and at the same time. what could
be causing this? Tested with ie 6,7 and firefox 2. all with flash
9.
By the way it is written in as3...which is the first
actionscript I have learned so there isn't any old actionscript in
there.
heres the code i'm using...its supposed to place all the
videos, stop them, and then when the first one is done the next one
plays. what would make them all start playing when you try it
online, but not locally?

i think i figured it out... i have instances of the
flvplayback component, and their autoplay was auto set to true. i
got so caught up in the actionscript side i forgot about the
component settings. even though my actionscript told them to stop i
guess the flv would load after the code and play anyways. but
locally it would work because the flvs would load instantly.

Internet works on other computers, not mine...

Okay, so. We had been having some internet problems last week, but after resetting the modem, and temporary outage in our area, it went back up. However, I'm finding that although all the other computers in the house are able to connect to the internet, my Macbook can't.
My mother's eMac is connected to the same network as mine, and the internet runs fine on it, a bit slow because of the computer, but all the same it works. On my computer, the airport icon in the menu bar shows a full signal strength, but I'm not able to access even Google. Network Diagnostics says that it appears to be working, but it can't connect to the internet.
This really confuses me. Why is the eMac able to connect to the internet on the same network, but the Macbook can't? I would download a system update, but that requires...the internet. The worst thing about it is that my Macbook has always worked on the network until that day.
Please save my computer -- summer vacation's just around the corner, and I can't survive without it! TT_TT

Are you connecting the AirPort Extreme to a simple modem (it will only have one ethernet port), or is the device a gateway (combination modem/router with 3-4 ethernet ports)?
