10.4.11 crashes games

Question

I hadn't played Quake 4 in quite a while (nor many other games for that matter), but a couple of days ago I tried and after a couple of minutes..kernel panic..I went and upgraded the game thinking maybe it was a compatibility prob. and same thing...I tried other games such as Luxor, Atlantis, Pizza Panic and while I wasn't getting a full blown kernel panic all games would freeze after playing for a couple of minutes..is there a pattern here? Is there a .kext file causing this to happen? This never happened with previous systems....TIA

Thanks BDAqua..I do not mean to sound disrespectful on ungrateful, but I have done archive and installs before and it has taken me up to a month to get things as they "were" .....What I am trying to find is some kind of RX to avoid re-installing..this is a copy of my latest crash..I was trying to play American McGee's Alice:
