10.6.3 Server, NAT stopped and will not restart

Everything was working fine the last few weeks. Nothing changed on our server yet NAT stopped working this afternoon and I'm unable to restart. Could an issue with the firewall cause a problem with NAT?
I can't find a log anywhere that details the NAT process.
Anybody know where that log file may be?

Follow up...
After a server restart NAT started properly and all was fine. Then, a day later, internet access dropped again. Upon arriving at the server, I'm greeted to a login screen (as though the machine restarted on it's own yet failed to completely initiate all services).
I restarted the machine again, logged in and pulled up the system log. Here's the start of what I found...

  • IChat server suddenly stopped, now will not restart

I have a Snow Leopard Server hosting multiple email accounts and websites, file sharing, runing OD, running iCal server, and up until a few days ago running iChat server.  All other functions continue to work normally, but iChat Server simply stopped one day and now won't restart.  Around the same time my external Time Machine hard drive failed (ironic) and I restarted the server in an attempt investigate that failed drive.  About the time of that restart, iChat server stopped working.  Here is the most recent iChat Service Log from attempting to start iChat Server:

Thanks, Tim!  I noticed that I did not have access permission to the directory /jabberd.  As a result, I set the system admin user's permissions to read & write for that and all sub files in the directory.  I then tried to restart iChat Server and here's the new error log:

I see the errors related to not finding a .xml file and the failed initialization of sqlite storage driver, but I don't know how to fix these.  Any ideas?

  • Error -50  Download stopped and will not restart

    I want 4 Steelers videos.  I successfully downloaded 3 of the 4.
The last one is 1.90 GB and stopped after downloading 150.1 MB and keeps giving me an Error = -50
I asked Tech Support and they emailed me some canned response dealing with connectivity - not using common sense that 3 of the 4 downloaded successfully and blaming it on my end.
Has anyone run across this error -50 and how did you resolve it?  Seems to me it is an error in the file Iam tryign to download.

Try here >  iTunes 9: "One Moment Please" or "Error (-50)" message when accessing iTunes Store
And ..       See:  Specific Conditions & Alert Messages here >  iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting

The optical drive has probably failed. It's a fairly common thing with these slim SuperDrives. Does it read any discs you put into it? You can try resetting the SMC and pram but I'll be surprised if it helps.
    To reset the SMC
    Shut down the computer.
    Unplug the computer's power cord.
    Wait fifteen seconds.
    Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on
    Resetting PRAM and NVRAM
    Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.

  • IPhone 4 freezes and will not restart or restore using iTunes.

iPhone 4 freezes and will not restart and cannot be restored using iTunes (unknown error 1602). My daughter's iPhone 4 did the same thing 10 days ago. Is this a software glitch? I replaced her phone, but I'm ready to switch to Android.

I am using Sophos Antivirus, but after disabling, still no luck. Tried the other USB port; no luck (same 1602 error). I'll take it to the Apple store tomorrow, but if they recommend replacing the phone I'm switching.
I went through this ~15 years ago when the Apple OS got so buggy and unstable that I had to abandon PowerBooks and switch to Windows. Oddly enough, this was after Jobs left the first time. I hope history isn't repeating itself.
    Thank you for the suggestions.

  • OS X Mavericks download has paused and will not restart. How can I get it to restart?

OS X Mavericks download has paused and will not restart. How can I get it to restart?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
First, see if the download is paused and if you can resume it. To do so, open the Mac App Store, go to Purchases and press "Resume" next to OS X Mavericks.
If the download does not carry on, I would recommend you to restart and start the download all over again.

This can happen with faulty battery. Make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple Store for free quick battery diagnostic testing.

  • My Ipad Mini with retina display has crashed and will not restart.

My Ipad Mini with retina display has crashed and will not restart.Only the white screen with the apple logo will appear. This comes and goes randomly. I've tried resetting by holding the front and top buttons. I've also tried resetting using itunes. Neither had any effect, The Ipad was a christmas present and only worked for several hours, the apple store can not look at it for another week. Is this a common occurance? I thought apple products were expensive because they never had problems.

Call Apple and explain as it is new. They will go over things to try and fix over the iPad over the phone. If they need to fix it they should send you a new one and you put the old one in thePrepaid return box they send you and send back the defective iPad for no cost. This is what they did with my first iPad 1st gen. I had. Unless they changed their policy you will get the box within a day or two and have your replacement for it the same day.
I hope how they helped me is the same for you.  Good luck.
