10.6.8 Issues In The AppStore
Every app that I try to download in the AppStore now says that I must have 10.8 or higher. Glitch or do I really have to upgrade operating systems?

No, and why are you using AppStore software?
You know it's all rigged to recent OS X versions and forces you to slow down your machine and deny your older PPC software upgrading to 10.8+
There is Macupdate.com which is a excellent source of software outside of AppStore and many of it's not copy protected.
Also there is a free version of CS2 here

And LibreOffice and Firefox all support 10.6 Snow Leopard.
Make bootable clones and you can restore your entire machine.

I had an App on MacBook Air which would cause my computer to be locked. I delted it and reinstalled the App again from the AppStore. Now I am being charged again for the same App. How can I correct this issue and get refund for the double billing?
You can't gift it, gifting can only be done from within the store, not from within your library.
Puchases are considered final but you can try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

After setting up my new IPAD2 I went into the APPStore and noticed there was an already purchased section, which showed all my previous purchases I had made and installed on my IPAD I. IT gave me the option to "install" them onto my IPAD2 and there was not visual "COST" associated with it and it never prompted me for a charge althought I had to enter my account password each time. Additionally I didn't get any emails like you usually do when buying an app. A few days later, BAM! 50 charges or so totalling upwards to 200 bucks with no description other than ITUNES on my bank account so I can't even tell which apps they were for. Is part of the public BETA cloud testing?! I hope to god not, it caused my bank account to go negative and now I have many NSF charges. I can NOT affort this. I know apple has a disclaimer "No refunds" under any circumstance. But as far as I"m concerned. THIS IS THEFT!

Now on both the IPAD and IPAD2 I can not got to view my purchase History, it says it can not connect to the ITUNES store, but yet I can still d/l apps and can view my account etc etc etc.

When ever I browse a news or cricbuzz app on my iphone5 it automatically brings up the jelly splash on the AppStore within 5 to 10 sec every time. Please could some one suggest if this is a virus or a bug. It is annoying and does not allow me to browse anything on the net.
This is not due to malware. There is no known malware capable of infecting any iOS device, unless that device has been jailbroken.
I have seen one other report this morning of a similar issue. This could simply be due to a rogue ad on those sites. However, if it's happening on a number of other sites as well, you may be having some problems with your network. As an example of the sort of thing I'm talking about, see:

I updated my new iPad while out of my home country to OS6. My iPad now wants to go to the Appstore in the country I am visiting and I cannot change it back. All posts on other sites reference a place to do that in the Settings, but that option does not exist (or is not apparent) in OS 6. Can anyone help?

How to deal with "criminals" in the appstore?
I have discovered a developer, Brian Hall, the creator of games such as Elven Knight, Pegasus Flight, Temple Run and many more games, that i beIieve can be marked as a criminal. His games are totally worthless, they are all exactly the same except for the graphics, and the screenshots and the descriptive text are absolutely misleading. It is obvious that this Brian Hall is trying to cheat appstore users in buying one or more (depending your taste for e.g fantasy, zombies, cute ponies etc) of his apps. Game play is absolutely worthless and in no way even remotely matches with what the description leads you to believe. Brian Hall obviously just wants to make quick money by cheating the appstore public with his worthless apps.
I have bought one of his games and posted a review stating much the same as above, but i even suspect that negative reviews are somehow removed again, since I can no longer see it.
In my opinion, people like Brian Hall and his apps should at least be BANNED from publishing in the appstore, if not actually persecuted for his close to criminal behaviour. Please advise to who or where i can address this issue properly, if anyone reading this knows how to....

The latest versions of iWork are not installing from the AppStore
I have a new iMac with the bundled copies of Pages 5.0, Keynote 6.0 and Numbers 3.0
The AppStore showed Updates so I updated these and AppStore now things I have Pages 5.1, Numbers 3.1 and Keynote 6.1 installed.
However the versions in my Applications folder stubbornly remain the old versions. When I open the Apps they say "A new version is available" so I click on Update which takes me to the App Store which says the software is all up-to-date!
How do I get the latest versions
(Other apps seem to owrk OK - e..g latest update to iMovie worked fine)

Today, the App Store is again offering me updates to these iWork apps (for the 4th time, now) e.g. Pages 5.1. etc
Although it said it had updated to 5.1 last time, the /Library/Receipts/InstallHistory.plist indicates that Apple downloaded 5.0.1 again! So of course when I opened it after updating, it was still 5.0.1.
These forums seem to be quite angry still about these latest versions of iWork vs the previous '09 versions, see also this in the Pages forum https://discussions.apple.com/message/24701724#24701724. Not sure that there is much interest in getting 5.1 issues solved?

Unable to update apps in the appstore
Hello guys I'm unable to view the update page of the appstore. iPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1 is showing that there are 2 apps to be updated but i can't see the update page. Earlier today, the number was 1 and now it changed to 2 but still can't see the update page even restard turn off and on the iPhone, hold home button and quit the app. Any Solutions Please with this issue here is a picture Thank You?
seems like the appstore id down or something......Thx again but I did that go to the home screen, double-tap the home button, locate App Store in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it and nothing,
I never see this happen..... any suggestion beside erase all the iPhone to factury seeting I dont wanna do that for real!!!. -

I have tried to look in the Master note but can't fint a simular problem. The problem of mine is the same, but i try to authenticate with Enterprise users.
I can log on as Administrator and see all the documents in the categori, but logging on with a non Admin user, I can't se anything. I have tried to give the user full control i the categori with no success. When I put the user in the Administrator group the user can se all the documents.
We are getting the same issue on iPhone and Android. But from Android we get the error 'Connection to the server Could not be established(MOB06031)' on iPhone we don't get any special error, but is the same behavior so we can't see any report her either.
Application on mobile are downloaded this week.

I have a new MacBook Air 11'inch and I presume that it should come with the iLife programs. However, when I signed into the appstore with my account I have used with all of my Mac products, it now said I had to purchase each program, like iPhoto, iMovie, ect. seperate. I have already logged in and out of my account and called the "free" part of tech support. How can I reslove this issue?

If you really have a new MacBook, iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand come with the Mac for free.
As you see their price at the Mac App Store, it's clear that there's a problem with your MacBook. Simply return it if you purchased it less than 14 days ago and you will receive a new MacBook -
