10035 Waiting for Content Error?

Hey guys was hoping for some help.  Running SCCM 2012 R2 on SQL 2008 R2 CU6.  I've been running SCCM since SMS 2003 so I'm not a total noob with it.  It started with running 2012 (no SP1), it just broke out of nowhere. and stopped working.
I needed to fire off some Flash/Java updates so I loaded up my .bat files and deployed to my test environment.  Every single client was stuck in Not Applicable/10035/Waiting For Content and would not move.  I did my research and noticed several
hotfixes, SP1 for SCCM 2012, R2, SQL updates so I just decided to build up a new VM with the above new configuration and to my surprise the same error is still present to my test environment.  Every single client, endpoint AV, everything connected with
the new server as I set configuration.  Everything worked, clients all updated automatically to R2 CCM Version, no more critical component status, everything is butter except deploying applications.  I have been running my .bat scripts for years
that I roll out to our clients to update flash.  I know it's probably not the "correct" way of doing it but it's worked flawless for along time now.  I can't really figure this out as logs are not showing any errors?  I see the hotfixes
for my issue, but they don't apply to SCCM R2, just regular and SP1.  Thanks for the help guys.

Searching "No matching DP Location Found" is related to Boundaries?  Nothing has changed in my boundaries and I do not configure by boundaries by anything advanced like Subnets, IPRanges, ect.  It's just a simple active directory boundary?

  • Waiting for content

    Hello,
Security updates are deployed by deployment management. I see machiens which are under "Downloading Updates" are still in the same state for more number of days.
I have restarted the smsagent service and observed that it is still under same "waiting for content" state in SCCM Client Center->Running Executions -> SMS/SCCM Jobs.
Please let me know how this can be resolved.
    Regards,
    Boopathi S

I would check DP are ok and updated on the site where machine looking for a content and its IIS logs for any error  ?
Since its for patching did you checked your CBS store that its not corrupted etc.. the path is \\xxxx\c$\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.LOG and you can see the error if its corrupted and it may get resolved by a system restore to a previous working state. i
haven't tried this restore as my machines are not having that option as its customized while doing build image.
I would just test on one machine with the above steps and will see how it goes and decide future course of action for it.

  • Distribution point waiting for content

    Hi all,
I have a problem with my secondary site distribution point where the applications don't seem to be replicating. I installed the role weeks ago and the applications are still sat on waiting for content. There are a lot of questions regarding this error but
they appear to relate to clients and not the DP itself. I have been over the config here
http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/cnackers/archive/2010/09/20/configuration-manager-configuring-server-2008-r2-for-site-systems.aspx and completed that, but it's been 24 hours since then and the DP is still sat on waiting for content. Any help would
    be much appreciated.

The most effective way to troubleshoot the issue is to check the log files distmgr.log, PkgXferMgr.log and MSDPPRov.log at the remote distribution point.

  • Client machines waiting for content

Hi - I have deployed a couple of applications that never seem to deploy to clients
This does not happen with every application so I don't think its a problem with connectivity / communications anywhere.
My clients are pointing to the correct management points and site.
Application content has been successfully distributed to my distribution points
My Distribution Settings tab on the package is set to "Distribute the content for this package to refereed DP's" and to "Automatically download content when packages are assigned to DP's"
My Content Locations tab on the package has the correct distribution point
Distribution types content tab has the correct content location and deployment options is set to "Download content from DP's and run locally"
Distribution types Programs tab has the correct installation / uninstall parameters
Distribution types Detection Method is set
Distribution types user experience set to install for system and installation probably hidden. I have tried with different logon requirements and still get no where
Deployments Properties content shows the right DP
Deployment Properties Deployment Settings action Install and Purpose Required. Also checked is allow clients on a metered internet connection
Deployment  scheduling based on client local time
Deployments User Experience set to display in software center and show all notifications
Commit changes at deadline or during maintenance window is set
Alerts is set to create a deployment alert when the threshold is higher than 0
Content is distributed and deployed to a valid machine collection with valid machines pointing to the right site
Monitoring > Deployments  shows waiting for content
I can manually install the apps OK.

Please check the client log files for more information. For example log files like
    execmgr.log, LocationServices.log and CAS.log.

Excellent piece of follow-up on my first suggestion.
I nearly made a comment about how the plan doesn't show Bloom filter pruning either - and then I realised why not. The plan you've shown us comes from Explain Plan with literal values present; the trace file shows bind variables with names that are generated when cursor_sharing is set to force or similar - so the run-time plan and the plan from explain plan are almost guaranteed to be different.
Oracle support will need you to supply the plan you get from trying to run the query and then making a call to dbms_xplan.display_cursor() - dbms_xplan in 10g | Oracle Scratchpad If you do this I think you'll find that the pstart/pstop columns contain entries like :BF0000, and you may even find operations link PX JOIN FILTER CREATE / PX JOIN FILTER USE
    A couple of generic notes:
if a query does sufficient work to merit parallel execution, then it's usually better to supply the best possible information to the optimizer, which means using literals rather than bind variables - you could try executing the query with the hint /*+ cursor_sharing_exact */ to stop Oracle from turning your literals into binds; it might be the presence of bind variables that's making the optimizer choose a path that has to include bloom filter pruning in your case.
Where you have the to_date() call you've used a four-digit year - which is a very good thing and helps the optimizer - but it's also a good idea to include an explicit format string as well: with a four-digit year this probably won't make any difference, but it avoids any risk of ambiguity for the optimizer.
I made a comment about the P->S stage and bottlenecks - I spent a couple more minutes looking at the plan, and I see the optimizer has used concatentation: in effect it has run three query blocks one after the other and fed the results to the query co-ordinator - in this case the P->S would make no difference to the end-user response time there's always a final P->S to the coordinator, you just happen to have three of them.

  • Mini Bridge "Waiting for Bridge" error Macintosh

We'd been having this error on a couple of our computers and none of the steps in the KB article http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/error-waiting-for-bridge-cs5.html are working.
We initally set up one computer to be used as our master image. Once we had things working the way we wanted on this computer we cloned the drive using Carbon Copy Cloner and distributed the master image to 3 other computers for testing. Mini Bridge was working fine on the master image. Once we cloned the master we changed the name of the default user account to our intended user's name following Apple's directions for changing user account names. Mini Bridge did not work on any of the user accounts on the cloned computers even those accounts whose names did not change. I even tried creating a new test account and it still does not work.
I've been doing some experimenting removing various Adobe related files and then trying to use the Mini Bridge until I figured out what worked. What I found was I could go to Library/Application Support/Adobe, and using Get Info, make the default user the owner of the Adobe folder. (They already had read/write permissions.) After that they are able to use the Mini Bridge. However, none of my other user accounts can work with the Mini Bridge since they are not owners of the Adobe folder. It seems that Mini Bridge is only able to function if the current user is also the owner of the Adobe folder?
I looked at the permissions on the master for the Adobe folder and it said it was owned by root and belonged to the admin group. On the cloned images it states that it is owned by the default user and belongs to the staff group. I tried using Terminal and changed the owner and group to root and admin as it was on the master, but that didn't make any difference. It will still only work if the default user is actually made the owner of the folder.
We will be cloning several more computers this way and I'd like to figure out why this is not working and see if there is a way to make it work for all users of the computer. I am sure something is happening with permissions on the Adobe folder when the user account is renamed on the clone, however I also did a group of 4 laptops this same way and those cloned computers all work fine under all user accounts.

    Omke,
Thanks for the suggestions. I finally got it working today.
We've been using Bridge for quite a while but the Mini Bridge is new to us as we are just now updating to CS5. I did notice a bit of lag time with Mini Bridge and sometimes it didn't want to display the items on networked drives, but if I hit the backward and forward arrows it would work, so maybe just a screen redraw issue or something there, but other than that it seems to be working ok over our network for now.
Your tip about having only one copy of Bridge open at a time was the key. We have been able to open the same program on multiple user accounts simultaneously before, but I can't say that we have with Bridge. I didn't notice it at first but when you choose Mini Bridge in InDesign it is actually opening the full Bridge in the background though it doesn't open the Bridge window, but looking at my Dock I see where it has been launched. When I would switch to another user account to test the Mini Bridge I wasn't closing out of Bridge in the first account, since I didn't realize it was open, so I'm assuming since it was still open there it could not launch it under the second user. Once I closed out of Bridge on the first account it worked fine on the second.
So think we have it resolved now.
Thanks so much for the tip! This has been driving me crazy for a day and a half. Now I can get on with my other computer set-ups.
By the way, we are ok on the number of CS copies floating around, we have a volume license. :-)

  • "Waiting for server-" errors in Contribute CS4

Haven't updated my website in a while, so this is new for me, but starting yesterday I've gotten nothing but "Waiting for server..." errors every time I try to edit or publish a page. It takes about 10 attempts before the page finally downloads for edit or publishes. So a 2 minute task now takes about half an hour and it's driving me crazy. I'm using Mac OS X Lion (10.7.5).
Has anyone else seen this behavior or know of a work-around?
    thanks!

Yes, I am editing the files directly on the server. Until recently, I've been working this way for years.
Dangerous.  You must be exceptionally confident.
    Are you working in CF?
At any rate, I'm not experienced with using this configuration, nor do I know anyone that works this way.  Maybe someone else will pop in to help....

  • "Waiting for activation" Error Message

I get a "waiting for activation" message when trying to turn on IMessage and Facetime. I rebooted the phone and reset the network settings but it did not work. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

    Hi karla35,
It sounds like you have taken some good troubleshooting steps to resolve this. We have a great resource for this issue:
iOS: Troubleshooting FaceTime and iMessage activation
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4268
I've been able to resolve this issue in the past with the section titled:
"Unable to activate FaceTime or iMessage with phone number and Apple ID after waiting 24 hours (iPhone only)"
Please note that step nine is very important, we want to restore from the backup. Do not perform a full restore.
    Thanks,

  • Deployment Status In Progress - Waiting for Content?

    Hi,
I have an application (language pack) I am trying to deploy to some clients and only about 78 out of 200 have a status of success. The number hasn't improved in the last few days. What would be the best way to get the rest installed? Can I delete the deployment
and deploy again? If I do this, will it uninstall it on the successful clients? Or is there a way to re-deploy? It just seems to be not improving at all and would like to get it pushed out asap. Thank you very much

Have you added an IPv6 boundary for the Direct Access clients and added to a boundary group for content location?
See how to do that here:

  • Wait for content thumbnails to refresh listener. How?

    Hi
On Bridge CS6 I have some action (any action...) to run over a group of image thumbnails but, when I select a folder with images, Bridge build in first place the cache for the contents of that folder opened for the first time.
I want to make a condition to run my action IF the refresh is finished.
    >> f refhesh is over >> run my action
    >> and if not over wait until is really over
(I have also to think if the user selects another folder before my first action is over on the previous folder: may be could warn to wait...?? or queue it to run it next...)

I have realized that this event 'loaded' is called:
    Once: when a folder is browsed for the first time getting new thumbnails (children). It is called after the built of all thumbnails, but before (and if) generating full previews;
    Twice: when a folder was browsed before and is select again. In this case, the event is called at the moment that the folder is clicked and again a second time, after the built of all thumbnails, but before (and if) generating full previews;
This was a bit trouble to solve, but my aim was to call only once a function with this to behaviors every time I select or reselect a folder.
I have used setEnv to personalise a bollean variable with the name of the folder (in my case it never repeats). The function runs only once with each folder.

  • How to wait for content rendering in a Div

How can i check the status of a div content, whether the content is completely rendered or not?
    sekhar

I have already tried WaitForControlReady Method. The thing is the content inside div is dynamic. We can't compare it using any of  InnerText , HelpText or DisplayText property.
This Div tag consists of spans and child div's. The Content of these child elements consists MathJax content(For displaying mathematical eqtns/graphs etc..).
