1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Commands

I feel lucky. I got one quirky problem answered today so here is another.
I have a large report running on 11.1.1.3 Essbase. The os is 64 bit linux. Occasionally we get the following messages:
ERROR - 1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Commands.
ERROR - 1241101 - Unexpected Essbase error 1013009.
there is no xcp generated.
To make sure that the application is not in archive mode or that user commands are disabled, I've bookended the report with GETAPPSTATE. When the report fails, the subsequent GETAPPSTATE reports that the app is accepting commands.
This same report has run successfully in 9.3.1 for months.
Has anyone else seen this?
Regards,
Dave

Sabrina,
I'm not ruling anything out at the moment. My suspicion is that it is related to some user action. I think that my next step is to seach the app & br logs near the failed event.

    Possible Cause
When a database is being restructured or any application/database on the server is being copied, you can get this message.
    or
When a cube is being restructured, commands are restricted because the integrity of the cube has to be stable and no one is allowed to access it.
    or
Copying an application requires that the Essbase security file be in read/write mode and therefore other applications are not accessible until the process is completed.
    Possible Solution
In Application Settings, verify that the Allow Commands or Allow Updates options are not selected.
If not selected select those..and try

  • Essbase Error 1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Command

    Hi guys,
I'm trying to load an outline from one server to another server. But during the restructuring process, I encountered the error "Essbase Error 1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Commands". What does this error mean?
How can I possibly resolve this error? I'm also researching on this error right now.
    Your reply is greatly appreciated.
By the way I'm using Essbase 6.5
    Cheers!

So what do you see in the application log? Essbase.log?
Are other databases locked as well?
But during the restructuring process,^^^ I'm a little confused by this -- what restructure? If I copy a .otl file from server A to server B, Essbase has to save onto server B, but there isn't a restructure, I think, unless the act of saving forces that?

Have you had a read of the following article on my oracle support to see if it relates to the issue you are experiencing - "Error "1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Commands" [ID 1216053.1]"
I do seem to remember this being a bug though I can't remember whether or when it was fixed.

It is worth having a read of the following article on "My Oracle Support" - Error "1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Commands" [ID 1216053.1]
It gives some examples of what can cause the issue and some bugs, ignore the 9.3.1 patch part.

  • The administrator has temporarily disabled access

Some of the bundles under my client's ZENWorks Window when they try to run them manually give an error:
the administrator has temporarily disabled access to this application
I checked the bundle in ZCM and it's enabled, no restrictions etc... but for whatever reason they won't run. They used to run fine. We are 10.3.3 on ZCM running on Windows.
    Thank you.

  • Disabled user commands

Hi All, I have a strange situation here. We are running Essbase 6.5.1 on Win2K. Whenever a user tries to COPY a db from App Manager. It halts all operations on the essbase server. It doesn't allow any new connection, and any user trying to connect either get a hanging screen or a msg saying "Administrator has temporarily disable user commands" Any leads on this message will be helpful. Thanks in advance Maneesh Hari

We also run Essbase 6.5.1 on Win2K platform.Essbase is set up to freeze any activity (access to essabse.sec file, calc runs...) during a database copy to avoid any db/file corruption. Thus, it is not a bug but standard "behaviour".To avoid that, Hyperion advised us to upgrade to 7.0.1 in order to setup several Essbase agents. When db copy is performed, only activities related to concerned essbase agent would be frozen. I have not tested this theory but I would be interested in getting confirmation of this 7.0.1 feature.

    From a MS Support Engineer:
    "Hi,
    ·        Is the computer on a domain?
    ·        Is the issue isolated to only this software or you get the same error message with other software’s as well?
Try the steps below and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
Run the software setup file as an administrator and check if it helps.
    a. Right click on the setup file of the software that you are trying to install.
    b. Select “Run as administrator”.
    Step 2:
Temporarily disable the antivirus software running on the computer and check if you are able to install the software.
    Disable antivirus software
    Warning:

If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
    Step 3:
    a. Click Start, type "Local Security Policy" (without quotes) and press enter.
    b. Click on Software Restriction Policies.
    c. In the right pane, double click on the "enforcement".
    d. Select “All users except local administrators”.

  • Installing hp deskjet f4235 error: "registry editing has been disabled by administrator"

I have been trying to install by HP Deskjet F4235 printer and I keep getting this error message: "registry editing has been disabled by administrator". How do I get around this?

    Hi,
I think I confused Computer Configuration with User Configuration in XP, so yes, this policy does exist in Windows XP, sorry for my negligence.
And I am still confused with the silent switch you mentioned, do you mean the
    /s in the following command
    REG QUERY "HKLM\System\NBC\Software\CurrentConfig" /s | find /v "REG.EXE" | findstr .
It doesn’t mean a silent switch but  specifies to query subkeys
    /s
-------Specifies to query all subkeys and value names recursively.
You can find detailed information in this link:
    Reg query
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc742028.aspx
To silently run the .reg file (with the /s switch) from a login script batch file, use the following syntax:
regedit.exe /s path of .reg file
so I suggest you re-edit the bat file use the above syntax for a test.

  • Administrator account has been disabled

I've taken over support of Crystal Server 4.0 in my organization and was notified by a user that all scheduled jobs were failing with this error:
login error. [CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged]: [Logon failure: the specified account password has expired.]
I attempted to log into Central Management Console using the 'Administrator' account and password and receive the following:
Account Information Not Recognized: The user account has been disabled. (FWB 00012)

    Hi David,
    Please follow the below steps:
In Your Case only the Folder Name is changed other wise everything is same.
    Symptom:
The password for the administrator password is lost and there is no other account with administrator rights to log in the CMC and reset the password for this user
    Resolution:
The steps required to perform are detailed in the Installation guide attached in the references section. However, there is one mistake in the order of the steps.
Page 71: Chapter 5.9.1 To reset the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform administrator account password
    1. Locate the CMS process: launch the Process Explorer utility, and locate CMS.exe.
    2. Copy the CMS command to the clipboard. In Process Explorer, copy the "Command line" field.
    3. Use the Central Configuration Manager (CCM) to stop the SIA. To launch the CCM, go to Programs > SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise
XI 4.0 > SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise > Central Configuration Manager. Once you have confirmed that the SIA has stopped,
    proceed to the next step.
    4. Paste the CMS command to a command-line. Do not press Enter. Open a "Command Prompt" window and paste in the contents from step3.
    5. Append the -serverconsole switch to the command and press Enter. For example, note that the following command has -serverconsole
    appended:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\cms.exe" -loggingPath "C:/Program Files (x86)/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/logging/" -port 6400 -restart -dbinfo "C:/Program Files (x86)/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/win64_x64/_boe_ACME.dbinfo" -noauditor -autoboot -fg -name ACME.cms - pidfile "C:/Program Files (x86)/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/serverpids/ACME_ACME.CentralManagementServer.pid" -serverconsole
The SIA is launched in serverconsole mode. You will be prompted when the SIA is ready to accept commands.
    6. Go to the following folder: <BOE_INSTALL_DIR>\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dfo The dfo folder
contains a subfolder with a randomly generated name starting with dfo_.
    7. Copy the file named BusinessObjects_Administrator_dfo.xml from inside the dfo_ folder to the following folder:
    <BOE_INSTALL_DIR>\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\packages
    8. Enter the following query: select si_id from ci_systemobjects where si_name='Administrator' Four objects are returned. Record the
    SI_ID for each object.
Tip: One of the entries should have the SI_ID set to 12.
    9. Delete the objects by typing the following command for each object: delete <ID_NUMBER>
    10. Verify that the objects have been deleted by re-entering the command from step 8: select si_id from ci_systemobjects where
    si_name='Administrator'
    No objects should be returned.
    11. Enter the following query: select si_id from ci_systemobjects where si_name='BusinessObjects_Administrator_dfo.xml' One object should be returned. Record the object's SI_ID number.
    12. Delete the object by entering the following command: delete <SI_ID>
    13. Type quit to exit.
    14. Use the CCM to start the SIA.
    15. Launch the CCM, go to Programs > SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0 > SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise > Central Configuration Manager.
You can now log on to the administrator account without having to provide password (leave the "Password" field blank).
Hope this will help you as well.
    Thanks,
    Daya

  • Temporarily disabling specific email accounts for phone shared by multiple users

Hi all and thank-you in advance for any potential help!
My company has a Blackberry "Style Flip" 9670 for our sales-people traveling in Northern Canada in the Yukon area.  This phone goes with whoever is going on that particular trip, however it has 5 different email accounts associated with it for the 3 users that share it.
I don't know if this is possible with a Blackberry or not, but we would love if there was an easy way to temporarily disable the email accounts that do not belong to the person carrying the phone at that point in time.
The way it is now, we have User A (2 email accounts), User B (2 email accounts), and User C (1 email account) sharing this phone.  If 'User C' is presently up north and has the phone and sends an email to 'User A' and 'User B', the email is still received on the shared BB for both 'User A' & 'User B' and wastes a lot of precious bandwidth.  The main dilema is the two users with multiple accounts on that phone receive a ton of emails daily.  This means 'User C' may have 1 crucial email waiting to be received, but has to wait for all of 'User A' & 'User B's' emails to be received before getting the important email.
Is there a way without deleting the accounts each time to turn certain email accounts on and off?  Any help is much appreciated!

  • Login has been temporarily disabled due to too many unsuccessful login attempts.

    Hello,
Does anyone know in how long after recieving the message "Login has been temporarily disabled due to too many unsuccessful login attempts. Please try again later." I will be able to login?
    Regards,
    Alex
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

There is no generic password, that would create a HUGE security hole. If you have held the reset pinhole down for 15 seconds or so with the unit powered on, then released it, the password should be set to what is on the router label. admin will be the user and when you type the password  you should see what appears to be other characters when you type..
One person with this issue had to type the password into notepad and copy paste it to get in.
You can change the  default setting of 5 bad logins but I DO NOT  recommend this  credit to armond_in_nj
"You can reset the number of allowed unsuccessful logins. Log on to the device, then click on "Advanced." In the far left column, choose "Users." In "Login Configuration" set the desired number of unsuccessful logins.
Also be sure to either activate, accept, or save all desired changes prior to changing screens or logging off."
Personally I have also added and extra user in case I have an issue with admin

  • "orcladmin" access has been disabled & some FTP problems & user IDs

    Hi,
I was working on a problem with OCS 10g (10.1.2) where we can only upload/ftp successfully file types (with extensions: BMP, JPG, WAV, MP3 & LOG). Txt, Doc and XLS files get an access denied error.
So I try to logon to "http://myocsserver.com:7778/content/" as orcladmin to change any applicable settings to allow all file types to be uploaded to my library in Content Services. When orcladmin access gets an error message "Error
Your access has been disabled. Contact your system administrator for more information."
I've tried looking at the product documentations, OTN and even MetaLink. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything. Can anyone tell me how to get my orcladmin account to work again on "http://myocsserver.com:7778/content/" ?
When i goto "http://myocsserver.com:7777/oiddas/" and even "http://myocsserver.com:1810", orcladmin works just fine. When I examince orcladmin account in OID I see that it is not locked and is enabled. So I can't seem to understand/figure out why I get the error "Your access has been disabled. Contact your system administrator for more information."
BTW, we also tried to create another super user account. We created it in OID granted it with all the privileges available and assigned it a domain admin role. However when it is able to logon to "http://myocsserver.com:7778/content/" it is not able to access the administration mode.
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    -Ken

    Hi user544366,
Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it.
    Hi all,
Got a fix from Metalink support personnel on the orcladmin user access disabled issue. Apparrently you have to de-provision Content for orcladmin and re-provision again. After doing that we were able to login to Content services again ("Http://ourOCSserver:7778/content/").
My remaining issue now is that even after I log on as orcladmin to Content Services I cannot find any settings that will fix my original problems. Using any user id (orcladmin etc) I can only successfully upload files w/ extensions (WAV, MP3, BMP, JPG & LOG) to Content services. I cannot upload -fails - (DOC, TXT, PDF, PPT & PDF) files to Content services. If I use FTP I get "Access Denied" error. If I use the web interface to upload I get an error "Error An Item must be selected etc."
    TIA.
    :)

    Hi Giovanni,
The configuration you have wonu2019t work. You have two different web application servers: Netweaver and Tomcat. Your user credentials are only established in one of them: Netweaver. When you configure trusted authentication in Tomcat you have to authenticate the user in this Web Application server. The REMOTE_USER canu2019t pass from one server to another.
You can confirm this capturing your request using Fiddler in your browser.
If you want to configure the integration BI4 into SAP Enterprise portal, you can follow this guide:

    Hi,
Does the issue happen to all Outlook 2013 users? Please create a new Outlook profile to have a try.
If it fails, please check the msExchHomePublicMDB value in ADSI Edit:
    1. In Adsiedit, expand Configuration-->CN=Services -> CN=Microsoft Exchange -> CN=domain -> CN=Administrative Groups -> CN=Exchange Administrative Group -> CN=Databases.
    2. Right-click the listed database > Properties.
    3. Check whether the msExchHomePublicMDB value is set to an available value. Please change the value to <not set>.
    4. Click OK.
Then check whether the issue persists.
