    Hello guys,
How to capture the payments made to 1099 vendors until go live in SAP. At go live we only load open items. How do we integrate payments from Legacy (until go live) and payments from SAP (after go live) to generate the 1099s from SAP system?

  • Vendor tax id change impacting 1099 reporting

    Hi
Our business creates new vendors when there is a tax id change for the same vendor because they want the 1099 report to provide the tax id number associated with a certain payment document in 1099 report.
This causes duplicate vendor numbers to be created for the SAME vendor. They truly do not want to be creating duplicate vendors and so
would like to know how they can get 1099 report to provide the tax ids associated with a certain payment.
How do the other companies handle this? What do you do when a certain vendor has had a TAX ID change?
    Thanks
    Depa

Ok, I Found it. We have to customize it. Taxes are reported at Operating Unit level only.

  • 1099 report for Customers

    Hi,
We have a requriement to report 1099 on Rebate Customers, planning to use standard SAP report S_P00_07000134 (RFIDYYWT)
Have already modified the existing process type US_1099 with output group US1 to include both Vendor and Customer payments. But, the reprot is not pulling the Customer payments yet.
Also tried to copy the old process type and created the new one just for the customers alone. This time report is providing the output for customers but "Country specific Slection" is missing in Mandatory selection.
Can anybody suggest what am I missing in the configuration or are there any OSS note for this ??

  • 1099 Reporting for Multiple Operating Units using same Tax Id Number

    Everyone!!!!
We have multiple operating units using the same tax id number. We need to use the 1099 standard reports. I see that in the 1099 standard programs, one of the necessary parameters is Tax Entity Id which is again at operating unit level.
As 1099 reports need to be sent at the Tax Id Number not at operating unit level, is there any way to use the starndard program and do this, or will we have to customize it?
We are on 11.5.10.2 if it matters. Let me know if you need more information.

Ok, I Found it. We have to customize it. Taxes are reported at Operating Unit level only.

  • Transfer payable from one 1099 vendor to another?

    Hi all,
We're trying to put SAP's 1099 functionality in place for 2011 (first time we're using it).  We have it working about 99% correctly, but there's one scenario where the system isn't calculating the vendors' base amount as we would expect it to.
The scenario is that a vendor invoice is created for the wrong vendor (say vendor A) and needs to be 'transferred' to the correct vendor (say vendor B).  Our finance folks are currently correcting the situation by posting an accounting document (doc type AB) crediting vendor B via posting key 31 (Invoice) and debiting vendor A via posting key 28 (Payment Clearing).
When the 1099 process is run, the invoice amount is now included on vendor B's 1099, as expected, however it hasn't been cleared off of vendor A's 1099.  In other words, the invoice is being included on both vendors' 1099's.
Does anyone know how we can resolve this issue?  IIs there a different/better way to transfer the invoice from one vendor to another?  Or is there something I need to chance in how we are running the 1099 process to make sure that both sides of the transfer posting are picked up?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

    No.

  • Issue in 1099 IRS file

    Hi All,
1099 IRS tax files are generated by organizations to report financial information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States. They are used to report income and calculate taxes to be paid in United States. In SAP it is done using report (S_P00_07000134) for 1099 form and IRS file. In the IRS file which we are generating we are -
u2022Unable to create the IRS file for multiple companies in the correct format - only 1 "T" record for entire file, and each "A" record needs to have the correct TIN and Company Name for each individual company.
u2022When filing for multiple companies, there should only be 1 "F" record at the very bottom which contains a total count of all the "A" records and the "B" records.
If anyone has faced similar issue with IRS file generation, please let me know.

  • 1099 payments are not combined for same vendor payments

    Hi All
    I have a question on 1099 reporting.
My issue is that we are running the report in transaction code ‘s_p00_07000134’ separately by company code because all these company codes have separate tax ids except few of them which have same tax ids. My client wants to run them (ccodes with same tax ids) together and if there is a same vendor  on these company codes . They are being shown on the report separately and the 1099 forms are printing separately.
Can’t the system combine the payments for same vendors under different company codes with same tax ids run together/
    Please help me…..

    Hello,
Did you get the answer for this problem?  Could you please explain how did you resolve it?
    Thanks

  • Can a 1099 be manually created without reference to an AP Document ?

Our AP department cut a cheque against a vendor id which included the names of two vendors in the description. They added the second name to the existing vendor in order to meet a requirement that the settlement cheque be made out to both parties.
E.G.:> Vendor 100 = John Dow & Jane Smith. The tax-id/SSN for vendor 100 belongs to John Dow.
A seperate vendor code exists for attorney Jane Smith.  E.G.> Vendor 200 = Jane Smith. And the tax-id/SSN for vendor 200 belongs to Jane Smith.
We can generate the 1099 for this payment document which references vendor 100 and John Dow's tax-id. Can another 1099 be created against the same payment for vendor 200?  And/or is there a manual way to create a 1099 without reference to an AP document?

The solution we used to create a second 1099 was as follows:
1: Post an AP item to the 2nd Vendor for the amount that you want to report - FB60.
    -Credit Vendor Account
-Debit Any account to clear with - We used petty cash
2: Use the F-51 to Clear
    -Doc type ZV
-Credit: The account you used to clear with
-Debit: Select the open item for the vendor
This will give you a payment document for the vendor for the amount you wish, but nothing paid to the vendor.

  • Alternate Payee is printing on 1099 Forms, Need head vendor to print

We applied the applicable OSSnotes for 1099 for the year 2010.  Everything is working fine as expected, except one issue.
When we execute the report S_P00_07000134, the report alternate payee is being printed on the Account Number field of the actual 1099 form.  Our goal is to have the main head vendor printed.  Also, strangely, the alternate payee is NOT even set for 1099 process (withholding tax code field) in the vendor master record.  That field is NOT even present on the account group for alternate payee in our design.
Interestingly, after printing, when we back out of the report, the screen with title Generic Withholding Tax Reporting shows up, that screen has the Head Vendor listed.
Not sure, where the setting is in SAP that will force only head vendor to show up.
Or we made mistakes in the application of OSSnotes.
Or, we possibly missed another OSS notes ?
    Pl comment. Thanks in advance.

Do a search of OSS notes for program RFIDYYWT - there are multiple notes related to alternate payee that are in addition to the 2010 update notes.

  • Changing Withholding tax base amount- 1099 payment

    The scenario is:
Classic withholding tax functionality to be used for first time, the configuration was done last year.
1099 needs to be printed with all payments made out to the vendor.
There were payments made out to the Vendor in year 2011. There are some payments that show as WT exempt amount  in RC and other payments are displayed as WT base amount in RC while running RFIDYYWT or 1099 print out report.
I used RFWT0020 program to regenerate the WT and Change to source tax code. It just updates the tax code on the payment document but is not changing the payment document amount from WT exempt to WTax base.
So the 1099 printout is not showing the total payments made, it is excluding WT exempt amount in total.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Edited by: Gary_S321 on Jan 11, 2012 10:30 PM

    Rebecca,
You need to update the WTax base amount field on all the payment documents that are blank.
For that just go to Vendor line item report FBL1n and run it for all the 1099 vendors. Change the layput to add WT base amount and WT Code in the report output. Filter the documennt type with payment doc types ZP and KZ and WTax base amount zero.
Extract these transactions into excel and then write LSMW to mass update these tax base amount field.
To update only Tax code on these transaction you can use RFWT0020 program.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Using 1099 MISC Reporting

    Hi Friends,
Client is using ECC 6. We updated vendor master with 1099 information in witholding tax field, one month after we went live.
Entries were posted in 1099 vendors, and it gave us warning message
    <b>
"Postprocess open items after changing relevant withholding tax types"</b>
We now have to run program RFWT0010 as indicated in warning message as a part of procedure. when we ran the program its not updating any documents for 1099 vendors at all.
Please guide if some one has worked on this before.

    Hi,
When you executed the Program - RFWT0010, did you execute it in Update Mode? You need to remove the check box - Test Mode in the selection screen.
Secondly, select only one Vendor Account and a document number and check whether it is getting updating. For the program RFWT0010 - there is a documentation, may be reading this documentation may help in resolving the issue.
    Thanks
    Murali.

  • How to manually change 1099 form $ amounts?

    Hello,
We have a small number of vendors that are also paid outside of our SAP system.  We need to generate the IRS 1099 form for all payments made to these vendors.  Is there any way to adjust the amount field(s) that print onto the form from SAP?
For example, vendor Joe Smith has payments of $10,000 issued from SAP.  Our company has also paid Joe Smith $5,000 outside of the R/3 system.  We are using the 'Generic Withholding Tax Reporting' in 4.7.  Is there a way we can print the 1099 form showing $15,000 in payments made to Joe Smith?
I have searched OSS consulting notes on 1099 and 1042 without any luck.
    Thanks in advance.

Actually there is one SwitchDataSourceFormHandler also which does the same. Although the API documentation say about it to be used with jhtml but I think it should work with JSP as well.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26180_01/Platform.94/apidoc/atg/droplet/sql/SwitchDataSourceFormHandler.html
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E35318_02/Platform.10-1-1/apidoc/atg/droplet/sql/SwitchDataSourceFormHandler.html
It may not be performing the cache invalidation but you can do that as Shaik mentioned. If you want to use SwitchDataSourceFormHandler by extending it with cache invalidation part then you can find its source provided at <ATG>/DAS/src/Java/atg/droplet/sql.

  • S_P00_07000134 Generic Withholding Tax Reporting for US 1099

    Hi Every One!
We are in the process of printing the 1099 forms for vendors. When we ran the report S_P00_07000134 for the vendors who exists in multiple companies, 1099 form is not summing-up the amounts for all the companies insted it is printing seperate forms for seperate companies with respective amounts.
We wanted the form to sum-up all the company code amounts for a vendor and create only one form with accumilated amount of all the companies.
Can you please help us in resolving this issue. This is very important for us to resolve immideatly.
We are also seeing the message withholding tax reference number missing in the report, does this message has any significance with the actual problem.
Your help is highly appreciated and rewarded.
    We are in ECC 6.0.
    Thank You,
    Hari.

Did you get any fix for this issue. If so, can you please share.

  • Urgent!!! 1099 vendor reporting issues.

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have few issues on 1099 reporting I wonder if anyone could help address these below issues.
    1. I did all the configuration for 1099 reporting on vendor master and I am running RFW1099M and RFIDYYWT programs to see the cleared vendor line items but I can see only few vendors cleared line items and the other vendors items are not getting displayed. I double checked the vendor master the settings are exactly the same except WH tax codes.
    2. The 1099 Minimum amounts on the RFW1099M program doesn't seem to work coz it displays all the items which are less than the 1099 Minimum amounts mentioned in the selection screen for example it was mentioned $600 on selection screen of the Minimum amounts field now it displays items which are less than $600.
    3. There are 9 specific Return types (Business specific) along with WH Tax codes and the  combination of both leads to 1099 minimum amounts. How to achieve this requirement? for example see below.
Return,Type         WH Tax code                            Description                                             1099 Minimum
      1                                1                                   Gross Dividends on Stock                                        10
      1                                7                                    Cash liquidation distributions                                  600
      3                                6                                    Mortgage interest received                                      600
      6                                1                                     Earnings from S&L, cr unions                                    10
    Kind Regards,
    Bob

  • 1099 minimum  amts

    Hi gurus
we have paid a vendor for an amt of 300$. Even though I put the min amt for witholding reporting as 600$,
this vendor is still showing up in the report "S_P00_07000134 - Generic Withholding Tax Reporting "
I tried checking 'check minimum" amts on the report selection screen and also in the pop up screen on the report I tried putting 600$, its still outputting this vendor for 300$.
Please let me know the config path to correct this error.
    Thanks in advance
    MSJ

I believe that although the program lists vendors with a $ amount less than $600, these
vendors do not appear in the form. This is system design.
If you wish to filter out these vendors please do the following:
    1) Click on the column header: e.g. 'WT base amount'
    2) Click on the 'Set Filter' option where you can enter the range
for this field. If you need line items above 600$, enter the
appropriate range. The Line Items outside the range are not listed.
I hope the above provides a solution.
Also verify if you have note 1047533:
    RFIDYYWT,1099,US,Vendors with payments<$600 reported
    Hope that helps,
    Jon
